• Carmen (1/5): Never again! - The water was hot in the shower, that was the only good thing. It had an extremely strong moldy scent in the room, clearly there was mold present. The bed sheets and pillow cases did not appear clean, I had to spread a towel to lie down on. I did not sleep at all that night, it was a terrible experience! No microwave in the room, couldn’t prepare something warm to drink.

• Luis (1/5): Stay away, this hotel is a scam - Location was kind of ok. First of all, the rooms do not look like the pictures in booking.com, they are way worse. Then on arrival they their access to booking was off so they couldn’t check my reservation. They charged me more than what I had booked on booking.com, I tried to speak to a manager in the morning but they were now her to be found, I left my contact details and 2 weeks after they haven’t contacted me, so please stay away of this property.

• Mendoza (7/5): Pasable para una noche. - El lugar es céntrico, el área del restaurante /cafetería, me agradó al retirarme la persona que me ayudó con mi maleta y la Sita, en recepción amable y deseando un feliz viaje (fotos adjuntas) y mucho me gustó el taxista el Señor Edgar que habla bien de Ustedes y los refiere en especial al dueño como buenas personas y es muy leal, aunque yo le comenté que no me gustaron algunas cosas del lugar y su descuido él dijo que se lo comentaría para mejorar, lo sentí muy comprometido y dispuesto atender con amabilidad muy confiable y segura con su servicio. La habitación y el baño descuidados, mucho ruido en el pasillo de personas hablando fuerte, cuando desee un café baje, pensando que la cafetería estaba abierto y no, solo una máquina que no funcionó correctamente, el servicio muy básico y poco atento el de recepción a mi llegada, sólo al siguiente día la señorita amable igual en la cafetería podrían tener más amabilidad HOSPITALIDAD con los huéspedes y cuando uno llega dejar de usar el celular y atender de mejor manera atenta y cordial, yo en mi profesión me dedico a la capacitación y liderazgo de servicio a eso llegue a Punta Cana y realmente por estar de paso alguien de allá me los refirió por cerca y accesibles a mi ida para Punta Cana, luego Puerto Plata pero siento que sí deben cuidar los detalles con los huéspedes, ser más atentos y hospitalarios y para hacerlo sentir a uno bienvenido. para una noche uno lo deja pasar, más noches lo evalúa.

A few minutes walk from the Malecon and about 15 minutes walk to the Colonial Zone, although I wouldn't like to make the walk by myself late at night. Hotel is well equipped with a lift (elevator) and good value. There is a basic breakfast.

• Raymond (7/5): Nice place, nice location, nice staff, I'll stay again - Located in an area where I have stayed many times, in different hotels/hostels, and this was a fairly quiet neighborhood. The place is bright and cheery, and it's location allowed easy access to the malecon, Plaza Juan Baron, and the park next to it, as well as a short (8 blocks) walk to Parque Independencia, and El Conde. The breakfast and coffee was very good, and the staff were as well. I'd stay again trouble geting the a/c to work

Sadly we can never go back here. - Who let that guy upstairs And told him what room I was in? that is very unprofessional and unsafe, I don’t know him and you just violated me. if a guest is not downstairs then why are you allowing unpaid people up to my room? what if that guy was here to hurt me and he had a weapon on him and used it against me? why on earth did you give him my information? is that Hotel Policy? Did you request his name and number, because I had to give my name and number and I paid to be here. Are you in charge of this operation? Are you the owner? What is your purpose here at the front desk? I have reservations for later next week here but now I’m not sure it will be safe to stay and random people off the street will not come knocking on my door because the front desk gave them my room location. Who is in charge of ensuring guests are safe to stay here uncontested by strangers ? I don’t speak the native language here so how do I know you are not plotting against me and planning something that could affect my stay here or my safety when I’m sleeping at night? ¿ The staff will give strangers your room number and will allow unpaid guest to harass you. I did not appreciate the fact that hotel staff do not keep guest confidential. It’s completely unprofessional and outright dangerous. Being a foreign guest who barely speaks Spanish can be very difficult for us. Nobody should have access to the hotel, especially to a guests room when they did not pay. What preventions are in place to ensure guest safety and security??? Absolutely NOTHING

• Jonathan (8/5): Comfortable, clean, good value - Good location for us, between the old city and the Immigration office, which was the purpose of our visit. Quiet area of the city. Breakfast was adequate. The hotel has a lift (elevator) so it's easy to get to upper floors. Good value. Not much parking in the area off the street in front of the hotel, so we had to park on the street.
