Guest Reviews
- Julie (6/5): - Location was ok for what we wanted We stayed 10 years ago and it was lovely but nothing had changed so we found it dated. Breakfast was very basic and pillows were uncomfortable. Not a 4 star hotel.
- Sinfield (10/5): -
- Irene (10/5): -

- amanda (10/5): 10 stars - All good N/a
- roger (9/5): -
- Steven (4/5): It was ok but may not stay again - It was centralise Anal about booking in times and non interested staff
- Philip (9/5): This was our second visit, already looking forward to the next one! - The evening meal and the breakfast were superb - for both quality and value. AND we had great views of the pitch on both occasions which is a lovely bonus!
Staff were very welcoming. Couldn't do enough to help. Seemed more like old friends.
This was our second visit, already looking forward to the next one! It might be worth paying a little more for a better room view (we were just looking out onto the street) but I guess there's nothing much the football club hotel can do about that!
- Andrea (9/5): Nice comfy room. - Lovely comfy room. Food in the corner flag restaurant was lovely. Staff where very pleasant. It is a little pricey.
- John (1/5): I will not be stopping here again !!! Awful hotel - Location was good , for where i needed to be on the day. No Towels in the room !!!! apparently they do not put towels in the rooms because people take them !!! so you have to collect a towel from reception, if they think you can be trusted to leave it behind when you leave !!! Unbelievable !!!!!!!
Bed , very lumpy / uncomfortable !!!
TV only worked on certain channels / TV guide did not work, kept loosing channel reception.
Receptionist accused Me of being rude, when i pointed out the issues as above.
- Suzanne (10/5): Enjoyable stay thank you! - Hotel was clean and staff helpful, comfortable beds Location not the best but great for the football club
- BRENDA (10/5): We have been 3 times and would not hesitate to book again in the future - Excellent Hotel would definitely recommend
Staff very friendly and helpful The only thing we noticed was the extractor fan in the Bathroom was constantly on, could be heard in bed.

- Barry (10/5): - The stay here was exceptional rooms clean spacious and comfortable. The staff were superb ,friendly and accommodating nothing was a problem to them. And for me the staff made the stay with their attention and attitude to catering for the guests.
- Sheldon (8/5): Good experience comfy beds a Friendly staff. There’s parking right outside and the pleasure beats is 2/3 minutes car - Good experience the rooms are big and bed very comfy. Was nice to watch the grounds men hard at work taking care of the stadium as these things always go unnoticed The gym they said it was being refurbished but I think they could of made a better temporary one as this would of made the stay 10/10
- Michael (10/5): - Everything from easy parking, great location. Room with views of the pitch, very welcoming staff at the desk which is rare theese days. Breakfast was good with a warm welcome.nice to have a bath option. Very clean. Rare for fussy me but there's nothing to winge about.

- Ryan (8/5): -
- Gregory (8/5): -
- Julie (8/5): -
- Barbara (7/5): fine for what we needed - Breakfast good, Happy friendly bar staff cracked floor tiles in bathroom
room felt a little tired
- Laura (7/5): Value for money but not sure would say 4* - Good location with parking (although £10 to park for 24 hours) Room was exceptionally hot even with air con. Had to have window open and as on road was noisy.
- Seale (1/5): - Food was nice and friendly staff There was a siren that went off a 1am that scared the living proverbial out of me, and then I also electrocuted myself on a badly damaged light switch! Bed was unbelievably hard and unpleasant.
- Ian (8/5): -
- John (7/5): -
- Elizabeth (5/5): Room was full of flies and midges - Room was big. Loved the view on to pitch The room was full of midges. Nd flys my partner couldn't sleep because of them
- Gary (9/5): -
- eric (9/5): Perfect property with clean and comfy rooms. - Very clean and fresh with great bed and bathroom Minor niggle
Pillows were a little
Small for the huge bed
- Craig (9/5): - Very welcoming and friendly staff, nice restaurant and great food.
- mark (8/5): -
- Jo (9/5): - The room was spacious for two nights. Clean and comfortable.
Value for money and a great location.
Would definitely recommend. I didnt like the fact I was told once I was there that I had to pay £10 per night for parking. They should advertise this fact.
I didnt like the fact the breakfast was just under £12 for anything you wanted. I would rather have a light breakfast and pay the cost of what I eat not for everything I wont eat.
And that I had to pay for the breakfast before eating.
I chose to eat elsewhere.
- Ian (8/5): Good - Reception staff hod just a bit too much attitude that was uncalled for
- Roy (10/5): - Yes Everything
- Mark (1/5): An embarrassing shambles. - Location was good for the Waterloo music venue We booked a double room but were given a twin room without any explanation at check-in. As soon as we entered the room, we went straight back to reception to point out the mistake. The receptionist initially told us to “just push the beds together.” After we explained again that we had specifically booked a double, she suddenly claimed she had another room available.
We then walked into that room to find a woman in the middle of getting changed. Both she and we were extremely embarrassed. We returned to reception, but the receptionist appeared completely unfazed, seemingly overwhelmed by numerous other guest complaints happening at the same time.
Eventually, after realising there were no other rooms available, we were sent back to the original twin room with a promise that housekeeping would come and properly zip the beds together to make a double.
While my wife and I were getting changed to go out, housekeeping entered the room without knocking. After apologising, the housekeeper attempted to zip the beds together but struggled, so I ended up helping her wrestle together two old, worn mattresses and a faulty zip mechanism. We expressed concerns about the large hard ridge running down the middle of the bed, and she assured us she would add a mattress protector and quilt to make it more comfortable.
Unfortunately, when we returned later that evening, all that had been added was a thin sheet over the mattresses. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and we ended up sleeping on top of the quilt with our coats over us just to stay warm.
To make matters worse, when we woke up thirsty during the night, we discovered there was no water in the room. Reception brought some up and informed us there should already have been water there, confirming the room had not even been properly prepared before our arrival.
Overall, the entire experience was an embarrassing and badly managed shambles from start to finish.
- Dave (8/5): Generally very good and recommended - Value Disappointed twin beds were not set up
- Lisa (6/5): - Location was good
Pitch side view was great! Restaurant was very cold and food was average I expected more from a member of Radisson group
- Kenneth (2/5): Loved going to Blackpool but this experience an cheek has put me off - Location The reception staff were very ignorant
- Lee (9/5): -
- David (7/5): Completely Cashless - Lovely hotel Cashless 🤦♂️
- Lucy (4/5): Good location and room idea - issues not fixed and cannot see the view at night or open window or adjust heat - Great location however pitch view cannot see as in darkness when we arrived so pointless The heating was on and couldn’t changed it so it was boiling hot despite contacting reception 5 times was not fixed
I received 2 parking tickets despite putting the codes into the machine
And just told to email when we complained about both issues
Staff on departure was not really concerned have been so hot in the room we had to have to door open to the corridor as l unable to open the window as pitch view
Contacted reception 5 times but heat not fixed
It was sickening it was that hot and we had a child
When told on departure just go a card and said email
- Chetan (5/5): It was ok - I was only there for one night Quite dated decor and access to reception and back down is a bit of a trek. Limited parking.
- Bev (8/5): -
- Jane (10/5): Very enjoyable - Friendly staff m, great location and very clean No food served later in the evenings
- Colin (7/5): Comfortable stay - Location. Clean rooms Decoration is looking a bit tired now. Needs a re vamp
- amanda (10/5): Amazing - 3rd time here never fails Coming home
- George (8/5): - Parking. Breakfast. Number of stairs when lift inoperable
- Debbie (8/5): Better housekeeping would have improved our experience - The hotel is in an ideal location for attending a football match and is also close enough to walk to the sea front and local amenities. The room was comfortable and a very good size, with a table and two chairs
The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The general housekeeping was below the standard we'd expect, considering the price. The toilet cistern was leaking (internally) so permanently sounded like it had just been flushed; we didn't have any towels in the room; and there were crumbs on the floor where it hadn't been vacuumed very well. We spoke to reception about the first two issues and they were resolved quickly. However, they should not have needed to be requested.
- Smith (8/5): -
- John (8/5): -
- Allan (10/5): Short break - Location was good, facilities excellent and rooms comfortable. N/a
- John (10/5): - Clean rooms friendly staff good food pitch view rooms ace
- Dawn (10/5): -
- Gavin (10/5): - Great hotel, cool bar. Being able to see the pitch is superb.
- Guest (10/5): -
- Jacqui (5/5): -
- Simon (10/5): Overall excellent stay, staff couldn't have been better, Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. - Room and Staff were great. Rooms were clean and of great design. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was poor. Bacon had clearly stood a while. Sausage was of poor quality.
- Collette (7/5): Overall it was ok. - The hotel was nice and clean, the breakfast was absolutely fantastic, the view of stadium was great. One waitress was really rude on our last day of our stay.
The bed was not a double, two single beds joined up, it wasn’t good at all and very uncomfortable.
- Claudy (9/5): Very lovely and very friendly staff - The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable No fridge in the rooms but it wasn't a big deal
- joey (9/5): -
- David (7/5): Comfortably for a night trip - Comfort and breakfast Some areas outside a bit run down
- ian (9/5): -
- Andrea (9/5): - Very clean staff were lovely and room very spacious. Great location 👌 I tried to ring reception twice with no answer so I had to go down to reception 3 times, the main problem was kettle , I had such a shock of it as it was faulty and receptionist didn't seem bothered but it hurt, but after about 40mins house keeping brought us another kettle.
- Stephanie (7/5): Wonderful place - will be back - The staff members were lovely and friendly and the hotel was lovely and clean. The showers need a bit of an update - a shower room rather than a bathtub would make it much more accessible and open to more clients. The ability to put air con on not just heating would be useful and more pillows available.
- Angela (8/5): Great place for spending time with family - Rooms were big and clean. Bed very comfortable. Our room looked over the pitch Nothing
- Angela (8/5): Great place to stay with family - Good size room clean with comfortable bed Nothing
- Traveling Couple (8/5): Good hotel wouldn't want to pay to much to stay - Clean and staff friendly as well as good food Rooms that face the road could do with better sound deflecting windows as you can hear lot of noise from cars and people going by. Also the bed needed better or new pillows as they were flat.
- 66452c1389cd73afc44ee2ba5ad7f29d (8/5): - Had a lovely meal No showergel
- 627bb6aff6fb724a8c7a346665a133fb (7/5): -

- 903fd0f1671471d7c419af7a34d957a0 (9/5): We really had a great time, loved the room, location, breakfast. Plus staff were great. Our evening meal was a bit poor - We loved the pitch view. We are in the restaurant and it was really cold, we had to put our jackets on. Also the food from the dinner menu was average. Rather tasteless anemic like a Wetherspoons curry.
- 4bb663a13849720cfc0b24b20716fd4c (2/5): Incredibly poor experience and an embarrassment of a “hotel” - Polite staff Everyday I walked through the hallway there was the same mess on the floor that never got cleaned throughout my 3 night stay. My window in the room was broken and wouldn’t close. Generally unclean hotel. Parking is a laughable £10 per night not advertised. A gym/fitness centre is listed but it’s pathetic it is one single poor quality treadmill and bike - that is it. No free weights or even room to do anything. If you want to get inside the hotel you need to push a buzzer to let you in regardless if you have a key card or not - absolutely no privacy. Breakfast the coffee machine didn’t work every morning and the food was incredibly poor. Will definitely not stay again. I would say this is more of a hostel/guest house than a hotel.
- 270084f66b4273fe2a7d284d3d7f1126 (5/5): The hotel needs updating and as an asset need investing in - Check in, lady on reception helpful and apologetic on the gym and no Spa facilities'/pool to use.
Breakfast and view of the football ground a positive The gym is poorly stocked and the piece of equipment (X Trainer) I wanted to use was out of order. I specifically chose this hotel for having a gym available. The hotel is run down, doors in the corridors are in poor condition, Bath tap is not adjustable when you are in the bath. It is an aging hotel
- stevehM6946RV (6/5): 2 star - The rooms that aren’t pitch view are probably 2 star not 4 bed base was worn and dirty room wasn’t spotless tv wouldn’t turn off had to pull room key out to turn off kept awake most of night with bathroom fan on all time , we thought we was in bed on side of road with traffic noise windows were terrible won’t be back
- MenziesG (10/5): Great Stay with Fantastic Pitch Views - We had a really enjoyable stay at the Blackpool FC Stadium Hotel. The room was comfortable and well presented, and the pitch view was absolutely amazing. It was a real highlight of the trip and my son loved every minute of watching the stadium from the room.
The Corner Flag restaurant was excellent, offering a relaxed atmosphere with fair pricing. The addition of pool tables, darts and TVs.
Overall the stay was very good, although the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, and we were unfortunately woken by a fire alarm at 01:30am which wasn’t ideal. That said, these were minor issues in what was otherwise a great experience.
Would definitely recommend, especially if you can get a pitch view room.
- 5dac7fb2a9b47090f3310b96c22c5108 (9/5): Great location, clean and breakfast was good. - Room was great with view over pitch. They kept the turf lights on all night so it was a bit bright. Understand pitch and club come first though.
- 63c3eb96dabb724cd10d8b00cca752cc (10/5): - Room was great, overlooking the pitch. Earnt major mum points from my son.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Very clean and spacious rooms, had everything you need. Was all great, nothing negative to report

- Christopher (10/5): Excellent hotel. - Great hotel - we stayed in a room with a pitch view. Good size for a family of 3 staying. Very clean and the staff really friendly. Would definitely book again.
- Lynn (8/5): Good - Very central nice and clean
- TOM (8/5): - Location
- Craig (6/5): -
- Maxine (5/5): - Staff nice, room dated carpets sticky parking charged extra Extra charge to park. Properties facing derelict run down and fulk of rubbish
- Kenneth (1/5): This experience ruined my stay,I absolutely love Blackpool as well but reception staff were very unhelpful - Location The reception staff were very ignorant and were not helpful at all
- Katie (6/5): Not the experience we thought it would be. - The bar man in the corner flag was very friendly and attentive. The room was spacious. Had to buzz to be admitted to the hotel, which took a while.
We booked a superior pitch view room, which was far from superior. The room was dated, and walls and skirting were very knocked and in need of attention. The room did not smell fresh or clean when we entered. There was a high table in the room that looked like it had been taken from a pub. We had booked a pitch view, however, could barely see through the windows as the outside was so dirty. I asked reception if they could be cleaned, but they never were.
Did not sleep well due to the grass lights being left on all night and shining brightly through the curtains.
- Lorraine Wheeler (7/5): -
- Claire (8/5): Myself and family enjoyed the stay, staff were all lovely! Will definetly return. - Location, bar/restaurant. Parking was full so had to park across the road. But paid £10 still for it not to be in hotel grounds.
I feel like the pool table should be free to use!
- jonathan (9/5): - It being a football stadium Slightly out of the town
- Nicki (10/5): Very good - Every one helpful Room was booked until 11 but at just after 9am room service kept knocking on my door and shouting hello.
I was in a teams work meeting and couldn’t answer but would have expected them to hear me.
Silly me didn’t put ‘do not disturb ‘ on my door but did expect not to be disturbed if it’s leaving day and I haven’t checked out
- John (9/5): Been here before and was pleased with my recent stay again - Rooms clean breakfast good location good car parking fine but got charged £20 for 2 nights Breakfast and nice hotel
- Vicky (1/5): - The rooms were large, the restaurant was clean, staff in there were fantastic and the food was lovely Checked in at 3.30, and was given the key to our room. There was a very drunk and rude guest was also in reception, her abusive behaviour towards my family was totally ignored by the girl on reception. We went up to the room to find it had not been cleaned and was an absolute mess, dirty crockery, full bins, bedding from previous guests still on the beds so we went back down to reception who told us it would be ready in 5 minutes, 5 minutes to completly clean a room, the bathroom and change all the beds. We went for a walk came bk at 5 and the room was just ready. That evening there were children / young teenagers running up and down our corridor kicking our door so hard we thought they were going to come through it, so another trip down to reception. Very early the next morning, 5.30 - 6am woken by children running down the corridors, this carried on the whole of our stay, both evenings, both mornings. We stayed 2 days and would never stay again,
- Laura (2/5): Not great - The location I had booked a superior stadium view room.. the room had restricted view .. others that we traveled with who had booked after myself had a full pitch view this was very disappointing for my son who was so exited about being in a room with a view of the pitch.. the windows in our room had glass stain going halfway up the windows so we had to stand in chair to see the pitch.. also no linen for the pull down sofa bed was available
