• a9xavier (6/5): - Excellent location, on the heart of China Town and 5min from the metro station. The bed was comfortable. Staff is nice and there's a kitchen you may use for a quick bite. We reserved a Double Room and they gave us a Twin Bed, not even an apology or a discount - was more of a 'ups' kind of situation. There was only one bathroom facility for more than 8 rooms (the bathroom only had three divisions: one with only a toilet, one with a shower, and another with both). There was always a queue and the place was not clean (one of the showers had an used period pad on the floor). On the last floor there's a bar/disco, so there was loud music (the bar guests stomp on the stairway) and the door bell rings every 5min for people to enter the facility.

• Andrea (3/5): En el top 3 de los peores hostales de mi vida. - Solo la ubicación y que me guardaron mi mochila un par de horas. Está hostal es pésima, empezando por la atención de la la gente de recepción, mal educados y de horrible actitud. Arriba hay un bar y recien a las 4 am se puede tratar de dormir (ese día dormí 3 horas, me tenía que levantar a las 7 !am) arrastran mesas hasta tarde y a las 9 empiezan con ruido de martillos. Hice el check in y me dieron una habitación con aire acondicionado malo, fui a reclamar dos veces y pido cambio y me dicen que tengo la última habitación. Volví a reclamar y me cambiaron a otra habitación con olor a alcohol y cigarro, todo esto ellos con mala actitud. Segundo día, nuevamente aire acondicionado malo y esta vez fue un hombre de mantención, él fue el único amable. Un hombre moreno de la recepción nisiquiera es capaz de decir hola cuando le dicen hola, de hecho para pedirle algo tuve que ir de la recepción a la calle a buscarlo mientras estaba fumando. • Mizi (4/5): Sweaty Night Sleep - Close proximity to MRT stations, restaurants, and places of interest. The Sarawakian staff (who catered to us at check-in during the day) was friendly. No cold air was coming from the aircon, so we asked the night staff for help. He told us that we had "messed up" the aircon settings and then claimed to have "fixed" it. Still no chill air coming out until the morning. Decided to check out earlier instead of spending another night :(

• Anna (10/5): Great stay - The room had no window. However, the air was fresh given the Aircon and fan, and the general air quality at the building. The room was very clean. It had a nice sofa on the bottom level and a large comfortable bed at the second level, just like on the pictures. It's a heritage building, nice interior. People or noises from the bar didn't bother us, though our stay included the weekend. There are books at the public zone. Cold and hot drinking water is available. Also, a microwave and the cutlery. Cups, plates, fridge. And the staff were so friendly! Good strategic location near the central market, Kuala Lumpur KTM station, Pasar Seni metro station. -
• Price (4/5): A lot of potential - Rooms were gorgeous and for value for money on room side of things it was really good, mattresses were comfy, toilets and showers were clean and decor was really nice. Cannot fault the staff either, were lovely So... It was advertised as having a kitchen, it's a kitchenette because you're not allowed to cook in the kitchen. There's also only one fork and one set of chopsticks, fridge hasn't been cleaned out in ages, the noise!! We couldn't sleep til 3/4am with the sound of the clubs it was unreal. The bar upstairs also means you have people walking past your rooms throughout the night as it's the only way to get to it. Attic bar upstairs isn't a social bar, more wait to be seated fancy. Not like a hostel bar where you can meet people

• Keith (3/5): sleepless in KL - Friendly daytime staff The room was nothing like the photo shown..a small room under a wooden staircase.. extremely noisy even with ear plugs..Air con did not cool the room..I asked the night staff and was told that the technician would look at it the following morning...The problem was that the remote control wasn't working... anyway it was a very hot night...plus the rats running across the ceiling did nothing for a good sleep...so stairs noise, heat, and rats... terrible .. would not recommend this place at all

I don't know why so many bad reviews, maybe because we didn't book a room next to the bar (or people haven't been in really horrible places like many of the accomodations in the Philippines we stayed😆) Deposit of 10 ringgits, but that's somewhat normal in many places in Malaysia The way up to the bed is really high, but not dangerous

• Tess (10/5): Homely, central and friendly. - The check in process was easy and clear. Staff were enjoyable and very friendly. The beds were comfy, and the loft space was unique. The location was PERFECT, right in the heart of China Town, close to the botanic gardens. We travelled with our 2 year old and still fit in perfectly at this hostel. We couldn't have hoped for a better stay! WIFI is free and strong. My partner taught online using the wifi during our stay. Be aware that there is a bar on the rooftop - so on Friday/Saturday nights can get a bit noisy. You are staying in a hostel, so don't expect silence. The rooms can carry some noise. If you're a happy hostel traveller, you'll have a great time.
• Eva (7/5): Good - Good Wi-fi and is still working also when there's a power cut in the rooms. Free drinking water cold and hot, kitchen available. Very loud with people walking up the metallic stairs inside and many activities in the neighborhood, but at least in the Travel Hub it's meant to be quiet from 23:00.
• Charlielots (10/5): A friendly and enjoyable stay - It was clean and air conditioned with really lovely staff, we had a private room so we had our own space with a small seating area and table. It was exactly what we wanted and directly in China town which was a real bonus. Would book here again it was great. The only problem would be the shared bathroom, but it was clean and we were not bothered by this but I know some people would be. It was very clean just small but it did the job :)

• George (7/5): Good for short stay/ to sleep - The location was very near to many attracions. Easy to commute everywhere since the nearest station was PASAR SENI LRT &MRT , walking distance. Cleanliness, the toilet was dirty as if it has never been cleaned or scrubbed. The smells on the alleyways to our room, and dusty because non in-house guests are allowed to enter to the rooftop bar. Perhaps try to put a celotape on the alley which way thoe customers should be walking and which part of the floor they shoul not walked on with their shoes from outside. Ohgod. Cleanliness is very important to prevent infestation of rats. Especially the backyard is home of rats. Do something to avoid it from infesting in the hostel. The staff were like very relaxing. Im suspicious about if the room ever been cleaned, housekeeping not just about changing linens. Shower head wasnt functioning , everything seems broken . You just have to move around to find your ways of using them. Get them fix! Please. Please disallowed outsiders from the bar to use the bathroom for guests. Vomits, cigarettes, people just smoke on the alleyways outside our room, the dampness of the room make me feel sicks plus the cigarette smokes. Kitchen has no rules, people just used anything without strict monitoring about cleanliness of the area. Okay fine, if that is what you want to give then get your cleaner to do the cleaning. Irresponsible Guest sometimes can be ignorance too especially when there is no warning or rules. Parking was very hard. You have to pay to unauthorisd illegal scoundrel who leech from this illegal activity. It is not like they are looking after your car. Try to get few parking lots from DBKL to overcome this issue.

As a women muslim , we are not comfortable to share toilet with men. As for iron , mybe you should provide iron board . So, it is more easier to other people to use it .

• Denise (6/5): Good for a short stay in a budget but cleaning could be improved - The rooms are really nice and huge, even had a sofa in each room which is really nice. the aircon and the Wifi works perfectly and there is a fan in the room too. Also, a lot of plugs near the bed and everywhere in the room which is really helpful. It’s kinda what you see in the picture. Location is fantastic, with thousands of restaurants, bars and shops near by and with petaling street market really close too. The city center is a bit far though. The hostel have a bar on the roof (which it would be perfect if alcohol in Malaysia was cheap but it is not the case) and it gets really noisy on weekends until 2.00am. The entrance to the bar is through the hostel so it is always gonna be random people walking by and the worst thing, the bathrooms are the same for the bar and the hostel. So there is just two toilets on each floor that it’s not even enough on a Monday morning, imagina how long you need to wait on a Friday night… The bathroom were never clean, we ran out of toilet paper the first day I arrived and was replaced four days later. The rooms were clean though.

• Kamini (6/5): Good location, but a lot of things can be improved (Extra plug points, better ventilation etc) - Good location, very near to Pasar Seni LRT/MRT, Kwai Chai Hong lane/REX KL. Bed was comfortable. Good wifi. Bathrooms were OK and had hot water. Staff were nice especially the daytime guy. A lot of things. Room did not look like the pictures at all. No windows or ventilation. Only window in the room was fully sealed and looking into the landing below. In the pictures it looks like open window that can see outside. ONLY ONE PLUG POINT. AND USED FOR FAN. If I switch off the fan, the room is very stuffy due to no ventilation so I literally cannot charge anything. Luckily I brought along powerbank.

I booked room for i think 5days or 4days..and the room i booked not even same like in picture..different not same at all...room not clean no one change bedsheets..not even asking...blanket not good wasting my money..i don't like..stop lying put different picture..what you get not even same inside picture. • Hong (5/5): it worth with the price to pay , but it can be better - great location, located in the city center of KL -misleading room info i.e room size,air conditioner. -in fact the single room is very small, its about 50-60 sq ft, equipped with fan, although there is a aircon in room but when request for remote control, front desk staff told me this room are not an air con room which is very much different from the info stated in advertisement. -room's window has to be open to get fresh air, but at night, it will be very noisy and disrupted as the room is facing outside and highway is just 200m away, mosquito will fly in as well.
• Noyon (5/5): Passable - Location was excellent, staffs were helpful. Room had no large bed (90—130cm), air condition, no seating space as pictured and descripted in advertisement. Besides, they required 20myr extra as security deposit which was not mentioned in anywhere in advertisement.
