Guest Reviews
- Deborah (8/5): - Everything about this hotel is nice, but the swimming pool is small, so if there’s kid’s in the pool, you’re going to get splashed. They don’t have coffee makers in the rooms, but they do serve it out on the patio every morning. We really liked that, especially on a nice day.
- Cloney (10/5): - Fresh, clean and quiet. Nice view. Convenient. Large room.
- Petra (10/5): - Amazing place to stay. Staff is excellent!
- Kim (10/5): - Very friendly staff. Place was spotless and very charming. Love the flowers and decorations for Halloween! Also beautiful views !!
- Linda (8/5): - Enjoyed the hot tub. Room was very nice and it was nice to have the sink
In a separate area from the shower.
- Helivania (8/5): - They do not have breakfast
- Melvin (6/5): - The property, like many along the coast, is pretty outdated. The bed was hard, the shower pressure was low, and the towels were rough and paper thin. If you’re just looking for a bed for the night it’s okay, but I wouldn’t want to spend a vacation week here.
- Lawrence (10/5): - all good
- Tina (10/5): - The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Great location, wasn't able to walk to down town, but the trolley did stop right outside the resort which was convenient. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.
- Cheryl (8/5): - It was clean and and guest friendly.
- Nathan (10/5): - We loved Mariner Resort! It was convenient and within walking distance to shops/restaurants.
We were running late, so we called the resort and staff said they would stay longer until we arrived, which was wonderful coming from out of town/state.Very nice property with lots of parking!
Behind the motel was games/activities and Adirondack chairs to look at the water. Also, there was an outdoor pool/hot tub as well as an indoor pool. The room was very spacious/clean with lots of amenities. We would definitely stay at the Mariner Resort again as it was a perfect fit for us. 😊
- David (6/5): - Old and not the cleanest experience (some hair and stains on the sheets) and there was an older musty smell to the rooms. But the room was otherwise clean and beds were comfy. Probably wouldn’t stay again since I’d rather spend an extra $30 for a nicer hotel but it’s good if saving money is your top priority.
- John (10/5): - Nice property and well maintained.
- Barbara (8/5): - Room & overall property was good
Unfortunately no breakfast just coffee in AM
There is also ongoing construction right next door..glad our stay was friday night thro Saturday.
- Dominic (10/5): - Great location. Awesome views of the ocean.
- elizabeth (8/5): - The only thing lacking was a coffee pot in the room. Also there was no elevator. We realized this, but our rooms were 120 and 121. I assumed that meant first floor. It meant. Building 1. Little struggling with luggage since we are older.
- George (10/5): - Everything was great from the friendly check in to the value of the property. Will stay again :)
- Reed (8/5): - It is a nice clean hotel with a great view of the salt marsh We only stayed one night as we were on our way home.
- Samuel (10/5): - A very friendly. Atomosphere, rooms were spotless and beautiful! Hot tub and pool was great! Patking was plentiful.
- Eleanor (10/5): - The outdoor pool and hot tub were wonderful as was the indoor pool. The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly. The grounds were nicely landscaped and there was bocci and cornhole available. Inside there were games and puzzles available. I have a couple of suggestions. There are a number of geese on the back lawn where the cornhole is located. That means goose poop, and a lot of it . Gross. My other comment is in our room the air conditioner is the old fashioned , through the wall type, which was fine although noisy. Its location was the problem. It was above the full size refrigerator so luckily my husband was tall enough to reach it, otherwise I guess I would’ve gone without . But it’s September so we didn’t really need it. The motel is on the trolley line so you didn’t have to drive if you didn’t want to go downtown. The rooms had no coffee makers, just fyi
- Cam (10/5): - Great stay!
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Great visit
- Nancy (10/5): - We had an amazing time!
- Stephanie (8/5): - Good location , easy access to dining options and shopping. Good walking paths to the beach.
- Kenneth (10/5): - Had everything thing I needed and was well maintained
- Alain (10/5): Best place in Ogunquit - The Mariner Resort is my best place to stay in Ogunquit , it's my second visit and I will stay at the Mariner the next time for sure.
- Gloria (10/5): - Quick overnight stay, Mariner very nice, comfortable
- Paul (8/5): - Great location. Pool area was kept in excellent shape. Beautiful views.
- William (10/5): - The room was very clean and close to everything we were doing during our visit to Ogunquit.
- Joven Luis (10/5): - All positive
- Ellen (10/5): - Excellent stay. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Being able to get on the trolley out front of the hotel was great because one of us had mobility issues.
- MITCHELL (8/5): - Noise
- Morgan (10/5): - Great place to stay!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Worth a return - Clean and well-maintained grounds and back lawn with deck chairs and picnic/barbecue space. Comfortable room and bed, near-full-size fridge and freezer is always great to have. Ample outdoor pool, great outdoor hot tub, good indoor smaller pool. Easy to reach town and beaches by trolley shuttle/taxi.
The only real annoyance was the wi-fi was abysmal - anywhere between 1.8 and 21 mbps - deathly slow for 2025! It also kept cutting out. Constantly. It led me to get a temporary eSIM to get some more robust smartphone data.
- Daniel (10/5): - Very clean, simple but nice.
- Rebecca (10/5): Great Family resort - Always our go to place in Ogunquit, we love it here for us and our 2 boys.
- Kim (10/5): - A
- Jackie (10/5): - Very nice place, clean! All staff I encountered were very polite and friendly. Beautiful scenery. We'll definitely be back!
- Kaitlan (10/5): - This was our third stay at the Mariner and it was another great experience!
- Adina (10/5): - Lynn, the manager was so helpful to me...I had a large room with two queen beds and a view of the water.
Nice and quiet and great location.
- Christina (10/5): - Great property very well kept.
- Brian (10/5): - Second time we stayed here great spot not far from all the action.
- Lucille (10/5): - Comfortable beds.
- daniel (10/5): - Clean and quiet
- Thomas (8/5): - This is a nice place to stay, to see everything in this area, very convenient to go to the beach. The girl working the desk is Great!!! The pool was very nice, the parking is tight, and limited.
- Alison (10/5): - I thought the place was terrific I liked that it was small and convenient to town and the grocery store. Although you did have to drive really to both. The only negative was at the floor was dirty in our room.
- Meradith (6/5): - Did not feel that the price matched the quality, over priced.
- Theresa (10/5): - Property was we’ll maintained and staff very friendly
Would definitely stay again
- Angela (10/5): - Awesome pool and property! Only complaint was that we didn’t stay longer!
- James (8/5): Happy - The grounds are beautifully manicured, the staff are very nice and helpful, the room is clean and up-to-date, and the property is lovely and in a nice location. Overall, very, very good.
- Annamaria (8/5): - It was our first time in Ogunquit. The motel was nice. Very clean. House keeping everyday. It was well worth the money.
- Scott (10/5): - I loved this location. We were not in the high traffic area of the downtown shops. But walking distance to beach. And catching the trolley was easy to access and navigate.
- Susan (10/5): - Loved tge beautiful landscaping, the location thr morning coffee. We did not like the noise above us from the second floor guest
- Claire Spencer (10/5): - I loved our stay at the Mariner. Convenient location, clean rooms, friendly staff. We would return.
- Salvatore (10/5): - Very clean and well maintained
- Tim (10/5): - Great time. Great place.
- LAURA (6/5): - The staff was friendly.
- Enrique (8/5): - The room was clean and comfortable with a refrigerator and microwave. The furniture is basic and there is a table and no desk. The hotel is far from town which forced us drive and pay for parking every day.
- Natalie (10/5): Highly recommend - We had an amazing stay! The staff was friendly, the rooms were very clean and the indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub and lawn games provided a lot of fun especially with the unexpected hot weather we had. I loved the Adirondack chairs outside the room. It was so nice to sit out there and just relax with a book. The large fridge was so nice to have. Much better than a mini fridge. We would absolutely come back. The beach and downtown was such a close drive. We could have walked had it not been 100 degrees! I wish we were there for longer we would have utilized the grill.
- DONNA (8/5): - Clean Quiet warm reception very close to everything
- Michele (8/5): - My stay was wonderful . The staff was very friendly and so helpful .
- Alyssa (10/5): - It was a lovely resort. Very clean, staff was friendly, and quiet.
- Maurice (10/5): - Stayed here before and everything was just like it was before, staff was inviting and courteous, room was clean and bed comfortable. Will be staying again in the future
- paul (10/5): - Been coming here for quite a few years.Great location, open and airy with nice vista, clean, and friendly staff.
- Wasin (10/5): - Excellent facility, helpful staffs. Sufficient parking spots with room to maneuver. Room was clean with a small refrigerator. Indoor pool and a hot tub are a plus especially for the time we went. Highly recommended.
- John (10/5): - Clean.
- Robin (10/5): - Clean big room, nice pool & hot tub
- Pamela (8/5): - It's a great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. It is a bit away from attractions. While that can make a nice quiet stay be prepared to walk or drive to a place to eat. The beach is super close though so carrying chairs and such won't be a problem. It depends on what type of vacation you want. The pool looked clean and large. Perfect for relaxing. Location is the only downside if you want to explore the shops. I walked but in hot weather it would be a bit much.
- Kathy (10/5): - A beautiful resort in a great location for experiencing Ogunquit with friendly and helpful staff. It was a perfect getaway!
- Joanne (10/5): - Very nice staff, ramp for easy access to room, but disappointed bathroom had a tub difficult for people with mobility issues, rooms with 2 queens should be accessible as well as a king room because usually there are 2 people needing separate beds
- Judy (10/5): - Clean, nice pool.. just wish they offered a continental breakfast like they used to.
- Cyndi (10/5): - My husband and I went away to Ogonquit for the weekend. Our stay at The Mariner was great. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the place was very clean and comfortable and the pool and hot tub were great.
- Molly (8/5): - Very helpful staff
- Angel (10/5): - Beautiful scenery of Ogunquit
- Shanda (10/5): - So we stayed one night at the hotel for our anniversary. Just to let you know when it says balcony it’s not private, but you did get a beautiful view of a river and the ocean. Lady at the desk was phenomenal. There was an inside pool and a pool outside in a hot tub. The hotel was obviously an older one, but everything was updated and clean. We had a refrigerator full size and a very clean bathroom. I think my only complaint would be that the pillows were very flat and not fluffy.
- Larry (10/5): - Walked beach and town
- Ronny (8/5): - Newly remodeled and everything was clean. Front desk staff very friendly.
- Suzanne (10/5): - Great place.
- DIANE (10/5): I'd stay here again - Very clean and comfortable. Staff was very accommodating when I called to say I'd be arriving late.
- Stanley (8/5): - They have indoor and outdoor pools and outdoor hot tub. Exersize room was fine too.
- Virginia (8/5): Fall stay in Ogunquit - Our room at the Mariner was comfortable and roomy. We were there for 2 nights. Loved that our room had a refrigerator, not a tiny one. My only regret was noise above us and on both sides of us. We could hear walking above and talking from the rooms beside us. I would definitely go back but only during the week, not on a weekend.
I loved there was an indoor & outdoor pool as well as an outdoor hot tub! Also, very beautiful sitting on chairs on the hill.
- David (10/5): Short vacation - Comfortable room with a nice view of the ocean in the distance. Really liked the ladies at the front desk.
- Jeanne (10/5): I would gladly stay here again - It was very clean and I felt safe as a single woman alone. The check in staff was very nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable and I’m picky about that. It was quiet in mid October, not sure how it would be in peak season. Having a full refrigerator and a microwave was a nice bonus.
- Paige (10/5): - Very friendly staff and clean property. The indoor pool was warm and we also used the outside hot tub. Both areas were clean. There were a limited number of TV stations.
- Stephanie (10/5): - The Mariner Resort was clean and quiet with a beautiful view. Staff was friendly and welcoming.
- Sheila (10/5): - Everything was perfect! I’ve stayed here before and would definitely stay here again!
- Michele (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay. View is amazing. Glad it’s off the beaten path from town. Very charming. I wish they had coffee pots in the rooms
- Stephane (10/5): Fantastic - Great motel nothing bad to say about this motel . Everything was perfect. The view from the bacony was beautiful. Every time I go back to Ogunquit for a few days , I will always return to this motel for sur.
- Tom (8/5): - Quite, convenient local shopping.
- Kim (10/5): - We were only there for one night, but it was an enjoyable stay with a glimpse of the water to enjoy. We would definitely stay again.
- Doris (10/5): - The property is very well maintained and managed. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We very much appreciated the maintenance man who was very helpful and informative about area and resort. The view of the marsh is beautiful and the location is super convenient for fine dining , shopping and entertainment. We highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back!
- Jonathan (10/5): Luck out with a good price. Very Happy. - It was wonderful. Got the off season price so it wasn't insanely expensive. The room was great. The room was amazing. It is centrally located to all the stuff. I was very happy with the whole thing.
- Rebecca (10/5): Getaway - Just a weekend getaway for myself and my husband
- Christopher (8/5): - Enjoyed our stay and will return.
- Quyen (10/5): - The property is just outside of the town of Oginquit, but we don't have to worry about all that traffic. Cute area with a beautiful marsh view right from the porch walkway.
- Monica (8/5): - Clean, basic, older property. Nice staff good parking. Small TV, few channels, noisy fridge
Overall good.
- Julia (10/5): - Staff was awesome. Indoor pool was clean and hot tub was great.
- Austin (10/5): - Great place
- Brian (10/5): - We love this local business !!
- Annette (10/5): - Mark the Inn Keeper was fantastic. He was personable, caring, and friendly. The breakfasts were wonderful. He made homemade muffins and popovers. There were also fresh fruits and hard boiled eggs. The coffee was delicious as well. We highly recommend staying here.
