• Slawina (10/5): Wonderful stay in Lisbon - We absolutely loved this hostel! We booked a private room so it felt very much like staying in a nice hotel, with comfort and privacy. The staff was super nice and welcoming, and everything was very well organized and clearly explained, which made our stay smooth and stress-free. We especially loved the garden and the spacious terrace, which offered a lovely Lisbon view. Overall, a wonderful place to stay - we would happily return and highly recommend it. One small thing that could be improved is the coffee experience at breakfast. There is a paid coffee machine and it was actually a bit amusing to watch people realize they needed coins to use it (something you don’t always bring to breakfast). There is free coffee available in a pot, but if you like coffee with milk - the milk is kept very cold (so the coffee cools down quickly).

• maarten (7/5): Goede locatie en prijs/kwaliteit in orde. - Ik heb hier 2x2 nachten geslapen als tussenstop naar de Azoren. Eerste 2 nachten in een 6 persoonskamer en de laatste 2 nachten een kamer voor mijzelf alleen (upgrading vanwege grote groep die aanwezig was). Laatste 2 nachten prima geslapen! Tijdens de eerste 2 nachten beduidend minder vanwege overlastgevers die er dan ook in de vroege ochtend zonder pardon op straat werden gezet mbv politie. Hostel is prima bereikbaar vanaf Airport met de metro met overstap in Alameda (groene lijn tot eindpunt en nog geen 5 minuten lopen). Bed in 6 persoonskamer heeft bedlamp, stopcontact en afsluitbaar gordijn voor meer privacy. Onder bed afsluitbare lade en in de kamer ook nog een grotere afsluitbare locker. Sanitaire voorzieningen kunnen beter maar worden wel goed schoongemaakt. Bij de prijs inbegrepen een ontbijt dat zorgt voor een goede start. Genoeg keuze (o.a. met fruit.). Personeel is vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. Dat laatste bleek ook uit de upgrading van kamer met eigen badkamer en het feit dat men mij bijstond bij de problemen die ik ondervond met het inchecken bij Ryanair. De sanitaire voorzieningen zijn toe aan verbetering c.q. vernieuwing. Personeel doet hun uiterste best om alles clean te houden.

• Veronica (1/5): Concerning safety situation and lack of communication - Stay Dates: February 12th – 14th (Shortened from Feb 17th) I checked into Lisb’on expecting a full stay, but I felt forced to leave early due to serious safety issues and a lack of communication from management. While heavy rains likely caused the power outage on the 13th, the hostel’s response was inadequate. Key Issues: Security: My room door could not be closed or locked. Anyone could have walked in at any time, which is unacceptable for a shared accommodation. Safety Hazards: When the power failed at 10:30 PM, there was almost no emergency lighting. I found only two emergency light across four floors, and none at all on the main staircase. Navigating the building in total darkness was extremely dangerous. Poor Communication: Staff had no information when the outage occurred. While understandable initially, there was still no clear idea or update by midday the following morning. Hygiene: Despite the power being out all night, breakfast was served using items from a non-functioning refrigerator. The "Candle" Solution: When I decided to check out for my own safety, the only solution offered to guests was small candles—a massive fire hazard in an old building. Refund Issues: At checkout, I was promised a reimbursement for the unused nights. It was two months ago. After one month I contacted the hostel via Booking.com and they asked my bank information for the second time. Now it has been over a month. Despite this, I have yet to receive my money or any further communication. Conclusion: Between the broken door, the lack of emergency lighting, and the failure to process my refund, I cannot recommend staying here. The management needs to prioritize guest safety and honor their financial commitments.

• Oksana (10/5): - The location is absolutely great, since you have a lot of walking to do around the city. There are two metro stations from the same line really close to the hostel. It's very easy to get here straight from the airport if you don't have too many heavy luggage. The staff is the best, I did exploit them a bit into practicing my Portuguese 😃😃😃 The room was very clean, fresh, comfortable, and the view - ohhh, so pretty any time of the day. Overall, great stay, great value, great location.

• Carolina (9/5): Excellent location for a perfect stay in Lisboa! Thank you Lisb'on Hostel!. - perfect location, perfect view, excellent ammenities. I really like cowork space, balcony an excellent terrace. Just recommend at least soap and other facilities for the bath. I appreciate that staff try to look for the comfort during the checking assigning beds accordingly.

• Demirci (6/5): - The location is excellent and very central. Most key places are easily accessible on foot. The common areas, especially the courtyard and terrace, are very comfortable and have a great view. Showers and toilets should not be in the same space. In a 4-story building, only two floors have toilets, and on one floor there are four toilets but half of them are out of service. Hot water in the showers takes a very long time — almost 15 minutes. Breakfast is very limited. Adding some protein options would be a big improvement. We expected a more welcoming attitude from the reception staff. In particular, the night staff member was quite rude when we forgot our key card. As this is a tourist area, guests should be treated with friendliness and provided with helpful information.
