- Veronica (9/5): - Posizione tranquilla a due passi dal mare. L'hotel offre la prima colazione ma si può anche mangiare nel ristorante interno, molto buono. La nostra camera era molto spaziosa con una stupenda vista mare. Il bagno carino, la vasca con doccia un po' datata con necessità di una rinfrescata. Capitava che ogni tanto entrassero dei piccoli jechi o qualche insetto, ma la struttura è in mezzo al verde. Degna di nota, la possibilità di prendere ogni giorno teli mare puliti per andare in spiaggia.

The workers in the Restaurant barely spoke english so it was hard to switch the bread to fruit because of a gluten Intolerance, but we made it work. My boyfriend proposed to me on the first night, so it will always have a special meaning for us. There were quite a few small ants in our room and even an gecko at night. And the toilet only flushed after lot of tries.

The beach is beautiful and water is clean, but unfortunately erosion is quite noticeable. We dined at hotel's restaurant during the storm that developed in the evening and the staff made it possible and comfortable even though electricity was gone multiple times. We liked the lack of TV in the room, because you really do not need it at this place. WiFi was quite bad and mobile signal very weak in our room (Navarra), which was probably because it was in the middle.

- Eglee (10/5): - A truly heavenly stay at Hotel Atlantis My husband and I had a wonderful stay — it felt like paradise from start to finish. Our room was a luxury double queen with sea and garden views, with beautiful touches like a floral arrangement with birds of paradise and palm leaves, and a unique stone-framed bathtub. The bed was large and very comfortable, and everything was spotless with all the necessary toiletries. The hotel has charming rustic beach-style architecture and a perfect beachfront location in Playa Bonita. We loved walking along the beach, even reaching the nearby river where it meets the sea. The cosy boho dining area and the incredibly kind, always smiling staff made our stay even more special. Truly a divine experience — we would return in a heartbeat. A minor downside, like in many hotels, was the lack of hooks or towel rails for hanging towels. A mosquito net would also be very much appreciated.

Though on booking it clearly says breakfast is included, they play up with words by saying that only 'continental' breakfast is included and they make you pay for yoghurt, fruit etc. When I spoke to the receptionist, she answered saying that yoghurt and fruit is not continental.. Are we actually having a laugh? Power sockets do not work unless you turn the lights on which means you can't charge your phone at night... Receptionist's attitude is far from satisfactory and smiling and welcoming is not part of the hotel's filosophy.. No hairdryer in the room.

It was personalized and the owner was on site which made a huge difference. The food was spectacular! Better and more updated bathrooms woudl have been better. There were many ants in the bathroom, which on an everyday cleaning basis they can make sure there are none.

- Karine CHA (2/5): - Nous avons loué sur Booking une chambre de 45 m2 avec coin salon. Nous avons eu une chambre qui faisait moins et comme salon nous n'avions qu'une chaise en face de la fenêtre. Le lit était contre un mur , le matelas trop mou, il n'y avait pas d'espace à gauche, rien à voir sur les photos. La chambre donnait directement dans un couloir en haut d'un escalier. La description sur Booking ne correspondait pas du tout. Heureusement l'hôtel a accepté ma demande de rester qu'une nuit au lieu de 3 car à 175€ la nuit, la chambre ne valait pas ce montant.

- Polina (9/5): I had a vert relaxing stay, would recommend both solo travellers and couples - Great location - right on the beach, beautiful garden, very quiet, yet not isolated - within walking distance of other restaurants/small hotels. Very friendly staff, the room was small ( single room) but cozy and tastefully decorated; had all the basic necessities, including a fridge ( no TV, but i didn’t miss it). The room service was great, kept the room super clean, no harsh chemicals used for cleaning. Breakfast was great. Can’t think of anything

Stanze piccola con un piccolo angolo armadio che non basta nemmeno per una persona. Pulizia giornaliera quasi inesistente, bagno con vasca, dove puoi fare una doccia ma è rischio di allagare tutto. Colazione inclusa nel prezzo, ma include solo alcune cose, se vuoi altro le paghi a parte. Non è assolutamente un hotel da 200 euro a notte.

- Cecile (10/5): Un séjour plus qu’agréable. - Un hôtel à taille humaine parfaitement placé. Un accueil où rien n’est à redire. Chambre joliment décorée et avec tout l’équipement nécessaire. Service de restauration sur place avec une très bonne table du petit déjeuner jusqu’au dîner. Le wifi dans les chambres était un peu faible et il était difficile de rester connecté.

- Bethany (9/5): A perfect spot in Las Terrenas - I really loved my stay here, the hotel is right on the sea front but feels more tucked away than some of the hotels on playa bonita. The room was very clean, cosy and comfortable and I especially appreciated the abundance of hot water (which wasn't always a guarantee at other places I stayed!). Breakfast each morning is simple but enough to set you up for the day, we ate at the hotel once for lunch and it was delicious! It's a bit of a drive into Las Terrenas itself but I personally prefer being in a more peaceful environment and able to drive to town than the other way around. Can't think of anything I didn't enjoy about my stay, it was the best place I stayed while in the DR!

As comodidades do hotel são ótimas e mesmo o quarto standard é extremamente confortável, com um ótimo banheiro, cama maravilhosa e boa decoração. O ambiente do hotel é lindo, com vários cantinhos para relaxar e desfrutar da vista. Bom restaurante para jantar à noite! O café da manhã que dizem estar incluso no preço da diária é bem simples (pão, um copo de suco, café e geleia), não condizente com o valor pago da diária em si. Para acrescentar algum tipo de proteína (ovos, queijo, presunto) ou extras (fruta, panqueca) eles cobram um valor a mais. Nada que atrapalhou, mas é um ponto a se observar, especialmente para estadias longas.

- cristina (10/5): Maravilloso hotelito. - El alojamiento es precioso, en una ubicación excelente, en la misma playa. El hotel es familiar y tranquilo y permite ir caminando tanto en Playa bonita como llegar a las playas del Cosón. Muy seguro. El personal muy amable, me ayudaron con todo. Y la cocina muy buena. Soy intolerante al gluten y la leche y lo tuvieron siempre presente dándome opciones aptas para mi, lo cual es muy de agradecer. Un lugar maravilloso que recomiendo encarecidamente.
- Dexter (10/5): - It has been a long time (40 yrs) since my last visit to Las Terrenas so i was a bit apprehensive when i heard that the coast had a lot of tourist development. Happily, the transformation from a desolate, nearly impossible to reach beach has been turned into fully accessible area of boutique hotels (not cheap high rises) that are still very reasonably priced. The best lodging on the entire couple mile beach strip is the Atlantis. It is a serene, beautiful property, with spectacular views and access to the most beautiful beach on the island. The rooms are very clean and staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. Also, the restaurant is the best in the area. Ten out of ten. no complaints whatsoever

Il est possible de commander en supplément pour compléter et ça coûte trois fois rien. Nous avons vraiment aimé les repas du restaurant. Beaux choix de menu et surtout très bon. Bravo au chef et à l'équipe.
- Michael (9/5): Insgesamt ist das Atlantis eine Empfehlung - Die Anlage befindet sich direkt am Strand und das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind klein aber sehr ansprechend, sehr sauber und geplegt. Manchmal wird es leider sehr laut durch andere Gäste oder ATV Fahrzeuge.

Muchos mosquitos y la carta de comida y desayuno muy pobre, nutra reserva incluía desayuno y no ofrecía más que café y té , zumo y pan ; todo lo demás que quisieras añadir era con costo adicional. Buena localización y el personal muy amables aunque eran muy pocos!

- Filipe (8/5): Boutique hotel with a very poor breakfast - Beatififul setting in Las terrenas, next to the most beautiful beach of the area (Punta bonita). Cosy hotel with very friendly and helpful staff! It’s almost incomprehensible such a poor breakfast in this boutique hotel. Expect only bread, coffee and butter & jam, with a juice. Everything else comes with an extra charge. It sounds like perfect way to ruin a very pleasent stay.
