Dos melhores locais onde estive em Portugal, somente por duas vezes atribuímos a classificação de 10 , sendo esta a segunda vez. Quartos fantásticos, atmosfera tranquila onde só se ouvem os passarinhos, uma paisagem alentejana a perder de vista, conforto em toda a estrutura e um serviço do mais profissional que pude ver. absolutamente irrepreensível ! Animais nas redondezas da quinta, cegonhas e cavalos na própria quinta, spa e carregadores elétricos. Recomendo uma subida à torre. Recomendo que aproveitem da herdade para passeios e descanso. Não existe nada de negativo a assinalar.

• Kelli (9/5): Lovely spot, very peaceful. Very nice propery and staff. - Gorgeous property, very nice staff. A bit out of the way but we loved that about it. Jasmine who did our wine blending experience was wonderful . Our suite smelled a little like smoke but we weren’t sure if that had to do with the wood burning stove in our suite.

O welcome drink com por do sol no primeiro dia foi incrível. O restaurante serve excelentes refeições. Os jantares e lanches surpreenderam positivamente. As crianças adoraram a piscina do spa e os cavalos. A grama em algumas áreas estava muito alta, o que limitou seu uso. Definitivamente o que falta no hotel é um parquinho para crianças. Faria muito sucesso com as diversas crianças que vimos por lá.

Pool in need of deep clean. No cold drinks readily available either by pool or in spa. Welcome drinks in tower were spoilt by tour guides for cycle groups who made us feel like we weren’t welcome and were interrupting their drinks. Long wait for staff to come to bar and serve drinks.

• Vicky (9/5): Amazing family stay - The room was absolutely divine. Amazing design, comfortable, huge beds, gorgeous fire place and lovely underfloor heating in the bathroom. The grounds are beautiful, the staff are exceptional, wine delicious, indoor pool and Turkish bath lovely, and the horses are wonderful. We enjoyed wishing them good morning and saying good night to them every night. Our 4 year old loved them. I really wanted to give our stay 10/10 but the food was a bit of a disappointment. Especially at these prices and the fact there are limited options in the surrounding area, the meals didn’t live up to our expectations. Duck was chewy and lacked flavour, everything could do with more seasoning. The bathroom amenities were also a bit disappointing based on the fact everything else was exceptional. I’d have expected higher quality, natural, glass bottles shampoo etc and a better hair dryer. But I am really nit picking here!

• Bryan (7/5): Not quite as expected - Impressive buildings and facilities . A disappointing experience given reviews and price charged. The rooms were an odd mixture of quirky and traditional design. Restaurant food was also somewhat disappointing compared to the many meals we had enjoyed during our time in Portugal
• Melo (10/5): Perfect for a luxurious jaunt. - From arrival to departure, the quality of service was impeccable. We were greeted by very knowledgeable and polite staff who gave us a tour of the area, followed by welcome drinks at the top of the building's tower. Our room was spacious, comfortable and sunny. The room, and the whole establishment were very clean and there was bottled water available, mostly for free, everywhere. The food at the restaurant was great, and reasonably priced for the type of establishment. The wine and wine tasting were incredible! A closet with more room for the clothes in the room would have been ideal.

We were greeted with a rooftop welcome drink, and participated in their “wine blending course” with Duarte- it was fabulous! As we were there during harvest season he offered us to “stomp grapes” the next day- bucket list! As for the culinary experience- it was Devine! Michelin Star worthy! We had a private dinner and then took part in the “gastronomic experience” for lunch the next day- incredible!! We were presented with a home made beautiful chocolate cake for our anniversary ❤️.. it was perfection .. We will definitely be returning to this gorgeous hotel in years to come!

• Mane (10/5): A wonderful place for a 3 days break - This was a fantastic experience since the moment we check-in. The staff is very friendly, the room we stayed was absolutely fabulous and very integrated with the region along the comfort. We had dinner at the restaurant during our stay and every time was an excellent experience. The food and the wines are very good. The pool and the bar is also very pleasant. WE were able to order our snacks in advance and at the time they were ready they invite us for the table. For sure we will return.

The staff was extremely good and able to organize meals based on dietary requirements / request wish was a pleasant surprise. the staff and the service should be a 10 on 10, while only rating dropped are because of the winery tour and onsite restaurant the hotel on site could be much better, while they catered to dietary request, the overall food quality and presentation could be improved to match the charges for individual dishes. the tour of the winery could be better, there was no tasters or details of how notes are selected in making the in-house wine, this could have been more properly organised

• Gareth (10/5): Exceptional - A fantastic property in a stunning location. We loved the thematic decor of the property. They have some lovely touches like a rooftop sunset welcome drink. The food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the service. The 'wine at the table' experience is a must. The restaurant service was on point. The pool area is chic and the loungers comfortable. The water was refreshing! The spa area was good although the steam room seemed to turn itself off for some reason at one point. The fact that the horse stables are so close and that some of the horses roam the gardens adds a little magic. My wife had a horse riding lesson and enjoyed it. The only issue was the heat at night from the 'oven room' passing through the wall into our room. We had to blast the aricon to stay cool. Perhaps not an issue in other rooms.

Their service was amazing, we showed quite late and they even offered to get food ready for us at midnight in case we hadn’t had time to eat from the airport (Maria at the front desk - lovely!). The rooms were amazing, clean, beautiful design. The history is very cool as well. We did all the extra activities (horse riding, picnic, massages, wine tasting) everything was absolutely amazing. The pool was beautiful. They also do a welcome drink and watching sunset from the tower to which we followed with a beautiful meal at the restaurant. Can’t say enough good things about our time here!
