- Martine (4/5): Bref nous ne conseillons pas ce site pour l'hébergement. - Le seul point positif de cet hébergement est la localisation proche du centre historique (10 mn). L'accès à l'hébergement est médiocre. Il faut 3 codes qui ne nous ont pas été communiqués auparavant ou à notre arrivée par mail ou message écrit téléphonique. Il n'y avait jamais personne à l'accueil. Il a fallu appeler un n° de téléphone. Si vous ne maîtrisez pas bien l'anglais c'est compliqué. L'appartement en lui même (suite Caledonnian 4) est très basique (mauvaise qualité du canapé lit, les fenêtres donnent sur des murs extérieurs, les vitres sont sales et les stores ou rideaux ne sont pas occultants, pas de rangements dans la salle de bain, l'armoire dans la chambre ne contient pas d'étagères - seulement une penderie avec 3 cintres, le linge de lit est lavé mais tâché, les équipements de cuisine pas très propres, etc...). Ce logement n'est pas fait pour 4 personnes mais seulement 2 qui peuvent dormir ensemble. Point à souligner, le logement se trouve au 2ème étage sans ascenseur.

- Brian (7/5): Aanrader. - De locatie en ruimte waren fantastisch. Lekker ruim en prettig om twee badkamers en twee wc's te hebben. De slaapbanken waren onvoldoende. Veel te dun matras waardoor je met je rug de spijlen door het matras voelde. Daarnaast deed de oven het niet. We weten de reden niet, maar we sliepen er twee nachten en in beide nachten ging het brandalarm af tussen 6 en 7 's ochtends. Geen uitleg of iets gehoord van het personeel, dus nog steeds geen idee waarom we zo vroeg werden gewekt.

- Michael (7/5): Served purpose but requires a price & service rethink. - Venue location was fine for visiting the main Edinburgh attractions. Room was very tidy & spacious with a comfortable bed. The apartment I had was at street level which unfortunately was quite noisy due to passing traffic & pedestrians. Sound proofing from the apartment above us was terrible, every footstep was easily heard as well as the upper appartment's floorboards being extremely "creaky". Air conditioning was non existent & was definitely required as the room was so warm my partner & I had to sleep on top of the bed clothes. Opening the windows to allow air circulation was not practical due to the noise from the road / street. The main thing which greatly dissapointed us about our stay at Edinburgh City Suites was a situation we encountered involving an etiquette / manners issue with the duty manager of the premises - My partner & I had just unpacked & settled into our apartment when the door of the main room was opened & the duty manager walked straight into our room. This greatly upset my partner as it was as though the privacy of our room had been abused. When this incident was discussed with the manager at the time he entered our room he offered a sincere, humble apology, stating he did knock before entering & we hadn't heard him. Regardless of his knocking before entering he was not invited into our room yet he still proceded to enter it.....POOR SHOW!!

- Claudia (10/5): Schöne Wohnung nahe am Heymarket - Die Wohnung war sehr schön und sauber. Liegt sehr nah am Heymarket, von wo aus man alles sehr gut erreichen kann. Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
- Amy (8/5): We had a lovely weekend, the room had everything we needed for our baby and was in a great walking distance to everythin - Really clean apartment in a secure and safe feeling building. In a nice location, not too close to the centre to be really busy/loud but close enough to be able to walk everywhere. Kitchen facilities really good, ideal for us having a young baby with us. We were on the ground floor and you could hear people coming and going but luckily this didn’t disturb us at night time.

In bagno non c'era nulla dove appendere gli asciugamani e il bagno molto rumoroso. Avendo la stanza al piano terra, dalla finestra della camera ci potevano vedere i passanti.. metterei qualcosa di più oscurante

- George (10/5): Delightful stay in the perfect location. - This was a perfect location for my family's stay on a visit to Edinburgh and Murrayfield. The hosts kept us informed of everything we needed to know from the minute I booked earlier in the year. This was a birthday present for my husband and daughter and when they arrived, there was a Happy Birthday banner which was a lovely touch. It was easy to get the access codes for the relevant doors and they were delighted with the suite which consisted of kitchen, bedroom / living room and bathroom. We will definitely book at this location next time we are in the area. Can't think of anything

Perfect for a weekend away. The kitchen is very basic with no cooking facilities. Grand for a weekend away but might be difficult if staying longer.

- Carmelo (2/5): Muy desagradables en trato y limpieza - Nada Si no sabes inglés no reserves este apartamento. No entregan los codigos de entrada a no ser que llames en la misma puerta del edificio. Ni por correo, ni por booking, ni llamando a media hora de llegar, solo los entregan en la misma puerta y por telefono, aun haciendo el check in online que piden. Te quitan 100€ de fianza que no se ven a la hora de reservar, y toda la estancia te la pasas viendo emails y carteles amenazando que cualquier cosa que rompas o ensucies seran 100-200-500€ de multa. La cama ni cambian las sabanas de la anterior estancia, hay pelos y suciedad. Nunca recomendaría este apartamento a nadie. La amabilidad de toda Escocia brilla por su ausencia, se nota que no lo son.
- heaven (1/5): - Stayed here recently and, unfortunately, it didn’t feel worth the £100 price — more like £70 at best. The room décor is very outdated and in need of a refresh. Check-in was more complicated than expected, with three different codes needed just to get in. The spare sofa bed wasn’t made up on arrival, which was disappointing. Cleanliness was also an issue — the bedsheets and pillows didn’t feel clean, and there was mould around the shower beading (see photos). The location is good, which is probably the main positive. One thing to be aware of is the £100 deposit taken about 10 days before arrival. After check-out, I had to chase to get it refunded, which wasn’t ideal and felt unnecessarily inconvenient. Overall, not a terrible stay, but definitely not great value for money.

- Arina (8/5): Nice stay in the city centre - It was a nice experience, the staff was very nice and the location is great for city exploring. There are a lot of nice cafes and bars around. We found in the suite everything we needed. We were disturbed by the noises of our neighbours in the night, the walls are apparently very thin. And the floor in our room wasn't clean, I had my socks dirty in 5 minutes of walking there.

- Lynette (7/5): Very pleasant stay in a nice part of Edinburgh. - The accommodation was good and very well located. Cleanliness was very good. Communications with Booking.com could have been better. I wish I had been told by Booking.com to expect a very late email with the door entry codes. The email arrived whilst we were travelling to Edinburgh. As I hadn't been told to look out for an email I was not expecting it at that stage. We had to ring the Edinburgh city suites to then be told to check my emails. It was eventually resolved but communications could have been much better.

- Angus (9/5): A home away from home. - The room was comfortable, cosy and had every thing we needed (other than a 2nd bedside table). I can't fault the room, location, cleanliness or staff. The bed was very comfy and I slept very well during our stay. The room was also so quiet and relaxing after a day's sightseeing. My only regret was our stay was only two nights. Property is also central and you can either get a taxi or walk into the main attractions. I don't walk very well but felt safe and enjoyed our ramble into town. This place is an excellent find and we will be back the next time we stay over in Edinburgh. A 2nd bedside table or even a shelf in the corner to put my glasses etc on at night. I had to put them on the floor overnight as I didn't have a bedside table to put them on. It was no biggie for me but it may affect other people more.

- Cristina (7/5): Tienen que mejorar la atención al cliente - La ubicación y su distribución y amplitud Tenía algunas pelusas en el suelo. Y el servicio de atención al cliente fue bueno hasta que llegamos al alojamiento. No nos dieron las claves, y no tenían WhatsApp de contacto. No podíamos llamar por teléfono con nuestra tarifa y no nos contestaron al mail ni por booking. Conseguimos entrar porque le dio las claves a una huésped de habla inglesa que nos ayudó. Lo mismo ocurrió con el secador de pelo, nos dijeron que había y no lo encontrábamos . Nos contestaron que estaba en otro lugar y cuando conseguimos encontrarlo en un cajón , estaba roto y a punto de hacer un cortocircuito. Por último, me manifestaron que podía dejar el equipaje en recepción, y cuando pegamos para dejarlo nadie nos abrió, escribimos y caso omiso. Con esta circunstancia llegamos tarde a una excursión y tuvimos que pagar 30 libras en un depósito de la estación

- Matthew (5/5): Edinburgh trip away - Location was good not too far from the main princess street with plenty of public transport available. Few minor issues with the accommodation. Dirty bed sheets, the extractor fan was very noisy, shower door didn't sit flush so leaked water and very dusty just needs a little attention to details.

- Martins (7/5): Cozy, calm & warm! - Location is amazing, easy to walk everywhere. Nice private patio outside. Very warm and cozy inside. Very useful appliances. Very fluffy matress. Tiny but nicely heated bathroom, good shower! The ventilation vents were really dirty 😬 There was someone else's sock under the cupboard 😂 and lot's of dust... And the duvet cover was too small for the duvet itself, we kept stealing the duvet from each other 😂😂 Appart from these, it was great! We loved the overall experience and will recommend to any friends that want to visit Edimburgh as well. Thank you so much for making our trip super cozy and easy! Our memory of Edimburgh will be for ever in our hearts!

- Angela (8/5): Nice place, would stay again. - Good location with plenty around, and good transport links. Bed was comfy. Bedding for the sofa bed in particular could do with updating. Was also incredibly hot and couldn't find the thermometer to turn down.
- Charlotte (2/5): Noisy neighbours and not central - It was clean enough It was around a 20 min walk to the actual centre with all the shops bars and restaurants. The people staying directly opposite us would leave there door open and blast music all night and it would sound like they were washing dishes for hours clanking plates and cutlery. I had to actually go round and ask them to be quiet at around 11.30pm one night as we were just trying to get a few hours sleep before an early flight. Overall a poor experience, we didn’t see one member of staff the whole time we were there.

- Dana (10/5): - Loved the spacious Studio with all of the cooking facilities, and a washing machine. (Nice Hot Chocolate w/ the Coffee & Tea selection.) The Staff were very kind and accommodating. Cozy, warm room w/ a very comfortable bed, high ceilings and Georgian Charm. The location was close to Edinburgh's Historical Sites, Castles, Museums & Galleries, but closer to the Haymarket Station which was a bit quieter and more relaxing. And still access to the Tram, numerous restaurants and shops. Thank you!

Tivemos que aguardar 20 min para que aparecesse alguém. Não nós avisaram previamente que era necessário códigos para abrir as portas exteriores. O funcionário que atendeu o videochamada estava a comer enquanto falava conosco.

Nonostante le chiamate al numero assistenza e nessuna risposta, ho dovuto prenotare un altro pernottamento. Li ho contattati di nuovo ma non mi hanno voluto rimborsare, diffidate da questo posto!!
- Jann (8/5): - Location, amenities, safety The towels were sometimes not very good and because the stay was quite long it would have been good to have had the room swept or vacuumed as part of the room service. Also, I asked for sheets to be changed, the fitted sheet on the main bed didn't fit properly and kept coming off through the night.
- Ian (5/5): At least the location was good. - The location was good. The room doesn’t seem to have been maintained for some time. Paint peeling, stains on the walls, etc. There was also a noisy fridge, immediately beside the bed.
- Sheena (10/5): - We liked that it was close to the railway station and we could leave our luggage there safely until check in time. We liked that the check in was straightforward. The beds were very comfortable. The tram, buses and train were a short walk away. The flat was close to lots of shops, takeaways and restaurants. The blanket for the sofa bed was a bit ragged and torn.
