- OGRJD (5/5): ok - I would have rated this poorly but the staff were exceptional.. they were polite,kind and the boy who cleaned my room made sure that he kept it spotless and neat. There is a huge issue with the cooling and the condensation which the staff acknowledge and tried their best to solve it. the ac vent was leaking causing huge puddles in the entrance of the suite. the door of the toilet wasnt working properly and was rusty etc

Repeatedly, floor was wet and we kept telling house keeping..nothing much was done. They told you shouldn't keep open balcony door or windows. But, when we checked in or whenever we came from outside, there was lot of water on the floor, even when room balcony was closed. Room is good but not well maintained. Felt we struggled for a day and paid price for it. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE

Clean, spacious & tasteful decor, .We had taken deluxe double bed with a balcony for two nights and it was great to relax in the balcony in the evenings.The bathroom was well designed with hot water availability.We had trouble with central air conditioning and had to keep it very cold ๐ Service was excellent with ample supply of water bottles and toiletries.Check in & out was quick and smooth.Special mention to Mr. Rakesh , who has helped us with car rental.

I ordered the Cilantro Prawns and was extremely disappointed with the dish. The prawns had an unpleasant taste and a strong, foul smell. Shortly after consuming just a small portion, I began vomiting and felt very sick. This was my first time trying Cilantro Prawns, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a terrible experience. I am deeply upset and disappointed. Due to this incident, I have decided not to visit your restaurant again, and I have shared my experience with my friends. I may even avoid eating prawns altogether in the future because of this experience. - Derry (6/5): - The service was very good. Folks were helpful. Though sometimes my requests weren't well understood. The facilities weren't great. I had to change my room because the toilet seat wouldnt shut properly and the shower wouldnt turn on properly. The new room was ok, but i dont think it was vented correctly because it would sometimes have a sewage smell in the room. This was especially bad on my last night there. Food was ok. Nothing spectacular, but not bad. Overall, a serviceable and not a terrible stay. But I wouldn't be eager to stay there next time. Oh, and there is no pool at this hotel. The pool is at The Crescent, and guests are allowed to go over there (not the same thing as having one on property).

I had to get my club sandwich replaced three times simply because I requested that no cucumber be added. This is a very simple request, yet it was ignored repeatedly. I have now been waiting for 36 minutes just for a sandwich, which is unacceptable. Your staff member (possibly Shubham) has been extremely careless, and this has caused me a lot of stress for something as basic as a sandwich order. Please take this seriously and ensure such mistakes and delays donโt happen in the future. This has been one of the most frustrating dining experiences Iโve ever had. Thank you.
- Safari29940374261 (10/5): One of the Best, Cleanest and most Guest-friendly hotel in Goa, at reasonable price. - It was yet another visit to Goa though after almost 2 years gap and as usual, i stayed in Hotel Varanda Do Mar. The experience there was simply awesome. Level of cleanliness, soft spoken staff, fresh and tasty food starting right from wide spread breakfast spread. The rooms are big, with balconies attached. One can not just have a whiff of fresh air or enjoy rains without getting drenched but also view Miramar beach from the rooms and balconies. Huge Value for money indeed. The mini bar at room is adequately full of chosen liquor brands, the fridge was working, 5-6 water bottles kept complimentarily, neat and clean washroom with good flow of hot/cold water. Location is absolutely marvellous, with Miramar beach just a stone's throw away. Hotel Varanda Do Mar is nestled in a peaceful and posh locality. Special mention of the manager Roshani there, who has a constant smile affixed at her face always. She has a solution to all your queries. And she resolves them also very fast, and smilingly. A hotel is as good as its staff. Before one checks in, the first person that the guest interacts with is the reception staff and the manager. Communication and the soft skills of staff there ensure that the guests not only stay in this hotel but are also keen to re-visit the hotel. Kudos Roshani and team. I strongly recommend Varanda Do Mar hotel at Panjim, Goa for a peaceful, luxurious and memorable stay for family and friends.

- Curiosity03932895146 (8/5): Enjoyed the Hospitality! - We arrived at Varanda do Mar at 29th of May this year.... and enjoyed our stay. We were first given a warm welcome upon our arrival and were given a welcome drink.It was very refreshing. Moving on due to off season and the rooms being vacant they upgraded our stay from deluxe to luxury๐. Pratima was kind enough ๐, to show us all the available rooms and choose one of them. Our room on the seventh floor had a great sea view. Yhe proximity to the beach๐ entrance is the best.The staff was very courteous and polite. There are bus stops nearby as well. At Night had dinner ๐ฝ at the restaurant the food was good ๐ but I was a piqued because of the houseflies which kept occasionally kept hovering over the food. The breakfast was good overall but the sausages were too average, weren't well cooked and were a bit chewy. So we stayed at the hotel ๐จ for 1 night and as we our train departure time was a bit late. We requested to extend our stay by one hour and they allowed us.โ๏ธ A big thanks to Pratima and her colleagues for making our stay the hotel great.Pratima helped us in clicking photos ๐ธ in the hotel lobby as well.Would like to come again!
