Guest Reviews
- Valentin (10/5): -
- Caple (9/5): - This place is everything Bali was 30 years ago. It was refreshing to stay in a beautiful Balinese Villa. Radiant Jepun really grows on you. if you love to escape the concrete jungle & prefer somewhere with character, this is the place to stay. You will be much happier here if you rent a scooter.
- Carolyn (10/5): Stunning place, Wonderful staff...will return, already did. - The atmosphere is phenomenal. Love it so much, we returned in same trip. Nothing.
- Carolyn (10/5): Relaxation at its best. - Everything, staff were warm, and friendly.
Villa was stunning, vibes were very relaxing. Will return.
Absolutely loved the stay. Nothing to dislike.

- Moodi (10/5): -
- Post COvid Get Aways (8/5): Radiant Jepun Joy - The ambience was lovely, it was like living in a traditional style home. The staff were brilliant, especially Mr. Adi who would go out of his way to help you.
It was close proximity to many nice cafes and restaurants.
Great air conditioning. For my liking it was a little out of the way from the heart of things. A not enough research on my behalf.
A little run down, but the surrounds are beautiful.
- Tundi (10/5): Amazing will definable return and would recommend - It was very well maintained - the host was amazing helpful and kind. Traditional style villa was lovely. Loved everything
- Elizabeth (7/5): Lovely villa but no food/drinks except beer - No breakfast. No tea or coffee/milk I would enjoyed access to tea coffee and had to walk to get groceries.
- Nayanne (6/5): Not worth the money. - The swimming pool was really nice; the staff was great with us. That was the only thing that I could say my family enjoyed. The villa didn't have facilities like a microwave or a stove as mentioned in the post. The water was always running out. I was traveling with my 1-year-old baby, and it was really hard to find food or cook for her. The rooms were not clean and were really noisy at night. The air conditioning didn't help with the hot weather because the rooms were open at the ceiling.
- Darshan Jain (5/5): Nice Pictures, but Aging Hotel - The Radiant Jepun Villa is a lovely little oasis inside its gated walls. The straw roofs, teak wood beams, and abundant shrubbery inspire an exotic tropical vibe. The villa Manager, Mr. Adi, is super friendly and attentive to guests' needs. The daily breakfast (which is the exact same items every day!) is made hot every morning and delivered to your open-concept ground-floor living room. Although picturesque, this property is over 30 years old and has not been well-maintained. Bathroom fixtures are rusted, sinks drain slowly, door handles don't work, A/C can be hit or miss, ceiling lights are dim, and termites leave sawdust each morning after chewing through the fully wooden construction. Though each of the five villas in this complex comes equipped with a kitchen, these are essentially non-functional due to a lack of basic cooking utensils. The property is situated on a narrow, winding side road along the river, and the lack of sidewalks makes it challenging to walk to the nearest restaurants and shops. Lastly, for the prices charged at this property, you would be much better off staying at the Fairfield Marriott directly across the river from this property for similar rates.
- Cathy (9/5): -
- Chris (2/5): - Nothing No water, pool shut.Very poor. But flooding caused problems.
Draps sales.
Petit déjeuner très sommaire.
- Nitin (10/5): -
- Sharon (10/5): Fantastic people, great place, fabulous experience - Traditional Bali villas with comfortable room and amenities Hard to find the electrical outlets in the bedroom
- Steve (9/5): - Amazing staff, great breakfast good facilities
- Filip (10/5): Jako emocijonalno putovanje zbog lokacije . - Lokacija i dorucak su bili odlicni, domacin jako pristojan i sve je pomogao sta god bi trazili
- Kevin (10/5): Staying here made our trip!! Close to everything but far away enough to relax and enjoy - Lovely Balinese villa with everything you need
- Petr (8/5): Krasne vilky, ale hodne zvirectva - Vilky jsou krasne, bazen cisty, personal mily a usmevavy. Vsude cisto, uklizeno. Velka vyborna snidane. Bohuzel diky konceptu vilek opravdu velke mnozstvi komaru. Nad manzelskou posteli byla moskytiera, ale dcera spala na zemi na matraci bez sitove ochrany. Je slyset veskery hluk z ulice. Otravne kocky, skakaly na stul, lezly do pokoje. Velke mnozstvi komaru, meli jsme i 2 svaby. Priste uz bych jel urcite jinam.
- Susyn (10/5): It was perfect , we needed a peaceful place that wasn’t busy so we could unwind . - It was a peaceful retreat Nothing
- Lynch (10/5): -
- Claus-Jürgen (8/5): Very nice accommodation. - The accommodation was very nice, the staff was very friendly and helpful. A really good breakfast was served.
We would come again. Traffic noise was quite loud, even in the middle of the night.
- Tanja (10/5): Thank you for our beautiful stay! - Amazing value for money.
Beautiful attentive staff, went out of their way to please.
Love the layout of the villa, with open air living downstairs and the bedroom upstairs.
A complex with 5 villas in total, and a shared pool, yet our villas was incredibly private. Was great for our daughter to have interaction with other kids and kept her entertained.
Fantastic breakfast bought to the room daily and lovely coming back to a freshly cleaned room every day.
Prince cafe just 100m down the road was our go to for an easy dinner/lunch, coffee if if we didn’t want to venture far. The road just outside leading to the main road was very narrow with no footpath- and made leaving the property a bit of a pain- but was only a short walk to a better location for walking.
- Joe (6/5): Pleasant -
- Moss (8/5): Very good -
- Roman (9/5): Superb -
- Brianna (9/5): Great value near all Bali has to offer - This was a great place to spend our last week in Bali, very affordable and breakfast never disappointed. It’s next to a major road so very loud, even late into the night
- Ceiran (10/5): Exceptional - just had an incredible stay at this villa in Bali – everything was perfect from start to finish! The villa itself is beautiful, spotless, and peaceful – exactly what you want for a relaxing getaway. The pool was crystal clear, the bed super comfortable, and the little details throughout made it feel like a home away from home.
But what really made the experience unforgettable was the host – such a kind, genuine guy who went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. You can tell he truly cares about his guests and takes pride in offering a top-quality stay.
I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If you’re coming to Bali, this is where you want to stay. Will definitely be back!
- Pjotr (8/5): lovely little authentic gem with amazing host - Adi is an amazing host, he made us feel very welcome. Very helpful and hospitable! Our air condition didn't cool properly, I told him and he immediately called an engineer and got it fixed which made our stay much better. They put nice fresh flowers around the villa, offerings everyday with lovely incense. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day on our request, with fresh water bottles, bedding and towels. The place is beautifully colorful, the villas are cozy and spacious. It could use some updating, but the outdatedness of some facilities adds some charm to the location. For example, the showerhead is old and should be replaced. But that's about it.
- Ben (9/5): Superb - Quiet and relaxed. Comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful staff. Good service. Good price.
- Cindy (8/5): Great location, fantastic host Aldi and value for money, - The location and Aldi the host he was amazing and went out of his way to make sure everything was great The property is very run down and needs renovating .
The bathrooms are outdated and the kitchen needs replacing urgently.
This property is not 4star its between 2-3 star
- Dawn (8/5): Very good -
- Jade (8/5): A quiet, relaxing getaway - We loved the older, open style room. With only 5 villas, it felt like our own little resort. It was in a quieter spot, but only a short distance from Legian and Seminyak. The owner takes care of his property and is very friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely time, thank you.
- Oleksandr (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (8/5): Very good -
- Spyridon (6/5): Helpful staff, the atmosphere of the place seems Balinese house, but i won't recommended someone to stay there as th - Friendly staff The facilities was old , didn't worth for what i paid.
- Jade (10/5): Beautiful place to stay. I wouldn’t recommend any other place - This place was truly incredible.
Exceptional and the best place we stayed in Bali in our 4 week visit around the country! Staff were amazing and super kind and friendly.
The pool was very clean. The rooms were immaculate and were taken care of daily. The bathroom was stocked up and kitchen and dining space immaculate.
The design of these places means you can socialise with other guests if you want to from the comfort your own villa as they’re open plan downstairs :) Nothing. It was Incredible.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Kathy (9/5): Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere - It was very peaceful and relaxed. Great staff!
- Colin (10/5): Our stay at this place with the family, was absolutely amazing. Beds were made and clean every morning. All the staff we - We love that it was a family villa. Pool was great property was easy to get to everything

- Ethan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (7/5): Good -
- Craig (8/5): Was very comfortable here. Great host in Mr ADI. Will stay again. - Very central location and quiet so sleeping not a problem.
Large open air architecture which was very pleasant just had to be careful of mosquitoes at night.
Pool area was lovely and overall cleanliness was excellent as was the garden maintenance. Mosquitoes
- Miller (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ronan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eugene (9/5): Superb - It's a nice big villa. Location was good, maybe 20-30 min by walk for the ocean. Pool was nice and clean. Wifi sometimes didn't work correctly. And we were worried about mosquitoes, but the workers of this villa were super nice and helpful.
- Jeffrey (10/5): I have no problems recommending anyone to stay here. - Adi met me on arrival and he was warm and friendly, it seems that he couldn’t do enough for me to ensure that my stay was a pleasant one.
- Gay (7/5): Good -
- Tanika (9/5): Superb - Lovely staff, good value for money & quiet street in good location. Nothing not to like if your after a quiet, relaxed, affordable option.
- Lloyd (10/5): Exceptional - The house was Spacious, quiet and all the other guests and staff were extremely nice.
Pool and facilities were always cleaned
- Pennie (10/5): Love my stay here - Bali style feel to this place. Large rooms and sitting area. Bathrooms big. One upstairs another down stairs Needing transport to get around. It’s out of the action which I liked. Easy to book gojek
Very quiet
If you want to get into Legian where bars are. You will need transport
- Travis (8/5): Very good - None didn’t ask
- Billy (10/5): Couldn’t ask for better accommodation and service during my stay. - The remarkable management and there team that made our stay that more perfect. Nothing
- Kasia (10/5): The villa was exactly what I needed. Great value for money. -
- Bert (10/5): relaxed - very nice staff nothing
- Simion (10/5): Excellent - Everything, the host help us a lot, very friendly, I will go back to stay again soon Nothing to way, everything was perfect
- Borworn (10/5): Incredible place to stay! - Very big and lovely design villa
2 big shower and toilet
Big and comfortable bed
Friendly staff
Swimming pool with spa
Good location ( Many grab around there)
Bar and Restaurant just turn right along the street.
Clean up room and set up bed every day.
Kitchen living room dining table at downstairs. Nope
- Amika73 (6/5): Lovely but Noisy - Beautiful traditional "Joglo" home, well kept grounds and pool..
Great location handy to many places Lots of mosquito after dark (but they do bring in coils to burn)
I came here because alot of reviews said it was peaceful and quiet... but I didn't find this at all..because these homes are open, you hear EVERYTHING... every motorcycle/car that goes past on the road 40m's away, other guests, their kids cause each villa is very close together, and alot of all the surrounding noise of living.. even loud bikes racing up the big Sunset highway in the distance..
I was disappointed because the reviews I had read were misleading. Has been the only place I've worn earplugs for sleeping!
Some things in my villa were very old and run down
Would be nice to not have to pump vigorously to get some filtered water from the big bottle on bench, this pump didn't work very well on top of the pumping!
A lovely place but wouldn't stay here again
- Damian (10/5): Worth every cent, and more... - We relaxed here - really relaxed... Was truly difficult to leave...
-Quiet, Peaceful, Beautiful
-Gorgeous pool shared by 4 villas
-Wonderful unobtrusive host
-Fabulous experience to live like a local in a luxurious environment -Nothing
- Jacqui (8/5): I would return here again, loved the Traditional feel - I enjoyed the bali feel of my accomadation, including the sound of bikes at night, close to local eateries....Adi the host was so lovely and accomadating to my young grandchild visiting and enjoying time in the pool....breakfast was not available, but a lovely Cafe 2 minutes walk from jepun, also the local pasar (Market was just across the river, handy for all the fresh fruits and local cakes bali is rich for. Providing sugar n coffee each day
- Lisa (9/5): Superb - Lovely pool area, surrounded by 5 Villas. Staff are friendly & very obliging.
- Jévon (8/5): Excellent value for money right in the middle of Legian - Felt like a little oasis in the centre of Legian! Beautiful property
- Camilla111 (7/5): Good - The team were very friendly and did whatever they could to help It was being eaten away by white ants and everything was so slippery having a pool to in the middle you had to bee very carful not to slip no matter where you were walking
- Greg (7/5): Friendly accommodating staff. - Spacious authentic Balinese Villa. Found the bed bit too firm for my liking.
- Leahy (5/5): Passable - Staff were awesome, pool was amazing No breakfast or restaurant, as stated
- Michael (6/5): Pleasant - Position and friendly staff Internet was patchy at best and sometimes shower just did not work
- Izaak (5/5): Passable - Rooms were hot - shower didn’t work on the last day.
- Claus (9/5): Superb - Exceptionally friendly host that takes care about his guests. Villa with two rooms (open kitchen and living room area, closed sleeping area with A/C, 2 bathrooms. Pool in front of the villa. Guard at night. Super helpful support in organising transport (taxi, motorcycle for rent, etc.) and giving local recommendation. 5 mins drive from restaurant area and beach. Using gojek or grab app (local Uber variant) this is not a big issue. Ride cost is less than 1$ (motorcycle taxi) with max. 5 mins waiting time.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Dean (7/5): Good -
- Amanda (10/5): Lovely villas and pool - The villa, pool area and helpful friendly staff N/A
- Anthony (10/5): Outstanding no words can truly describe - The staff were very attentive Didn’t get to stay long enough .
- Anca (10/5): Exceptional - Close to beach, shops and plenty of food options. Great service, clean and full of charm.
- Daniel (9/5): Perfect - Great villa, nice space and style, wonderful host and service, wonderful staff, nice breakfast, swimming pool is perfect!
- Minjoo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Payal (4/5): Ok but not with kids - The vibe, look, and facilities were very Bali like. The staff were very helpful and considerate, cleaning the place every day and providing extra sheets and towels as needed. The pool was always clean and shared, but all other guests were considerate and respected each others privacy. Arriving at the location, you realise it is not a riverside view. it's a sewerside view. You can not tell from google Maps, but the location is close to the local and grocery markets.
Having good facilities like AC and shower with flushing toilet, but we kept the AC on all day and night, but AC was not powerful at all. We slept ourselves in sweat and got really difficult for our baby too in the Bali heat. I would suggest replacing the
In shower shampoo, conditioner were not provided, we had to go buy from indomart around the corner.
Cleaniness wise, the staff would come clean the whole villa and make up the room every day, and they SHOULD because soooo much termites poop everywhere. I was worried they would get into our luggage, and we would have issues at the customs. It was hard to keep our baby from scarping on all the infected places. The villa should really get proper termite treatment done as most of the structure is wood!
The shower had so much mould and didn't seem clean either, and the water pressure was like having a showrer in mist.
- Madeline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Avinash (10/5): Very good service and location - Relaxing place, friendly host! Friendly host
- Sari (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leanne (10/5): Fabulous - The staff here are amazing.. super helpful with anything you need.. Adi is the best host.. super clean properly and fantastic pool.. the rooms were spacious and had everything you need 🙏 Nothing
- Austin (3/5): Poor -
- Vicki (3/5): Poor -
- James (8/5): Very good - The atmosphere was terrific,it's a little oasis, refrigerator was stocked with beer, water ,soda which was sold at cost+10%,so a Bintan was 25k +2500 ,nice fruit stand up the road near the 2nd bridge, very nice staff Air co seem to have a problem keeping up so at times the bedroom got a little warm
- Mostafa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (10/5): Unique two storey bungalows - Lovely design 5 two storey Bungalows around central pool, Adi and his staff were friendly and welcoming. Nothing was any trouble, lovely gardens in a typical Bali style, only a few hundred metres to Jalan Legian Nothing
- Wendy (8/5): Cosy, cute and clean traditional style villas in the quieter side of Legian - Beautiful property with 5 cosy self contained villas in the quieter end of Legian. Clean and comfortable and friendly, helpful staff. Nice pool. Delicious breakfast was plentiful with tropical fruits and juices, coffee, pancakes, eggs and toast. Felt safe as a solo traveller. Mr Putu, Mr Adi and team maintain the property well and are also able to arrange laundry services and taxis if needed. Prince Coffee nearby is an awesome cafe with good coffee and meals. Convenient location with ATM and shops within a 5 minute walk. Nothing to dislike. Just the imossies however they burn mosquito coils at night to keep them away 😊 wifi can be slow in the room but better near the pool.
- Wendy (8/5): Cosy villas in a good location - Clean and spacious villa in a traditional design. Very helpful and friendly staff, especially Mr Putu. Convenient location, walking distance to good cafes and IndoMart for ATM and other necessities. Nothing
- Mareesa (3/5): Very Disappointing - Staff were friendly and they had a cute cat visiting. Accommodation is old and need of renovation. Pool was green the whole time we were there so unable to swim. Rooms were not sealed or screened so mosquitos can come in. Location is terrible and even Gojek drivers get lost finding it.
- Libby (8/5): Very good -
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michał (10/5): Beautiful villa outside of noisy streets - Villa is very beautiful and well managed. Manager and workers are very welcoming and caring for the guests. Thank you for your work 👍🏻😉 Location is little far from the beach but in exchange you get peace and quiet which we find as a good trade off. There is kitchen so you can cook what you want and they provide drinking water.
- Celma (10/5): beautiful village and pool clean amazing staff and good location. - The village was beautiful and clean the staff amazing the location perfect near everything.
- Magdalena (7/5): Good - I liked how green the area around the pool was. I admired the wooden buildings, and it was easy to hang out in the common area downstairs. Bathrooms were clean, but things were quite outdated. I can understand it is hard to keep things neat in Bali, but I would say it should not feel hard for me to go to the toilet if I pay over 50 eur per night.
Also , it was hard to get anywhere without transportation. We walked once, but it felt dangerous
- Vali (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, starting with the location and ending with the staff. Adi is the best! Nothing to add here
- Dmitry (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed in villa for 2 weeks and it was a great pleasure.
First, location.
It is located not far from the Legian beach which is comfortable for beginners at serf (depending on season). However, the location will be convenient for those who rent a bike, which is highly recommended for pleasant stay in Bali.
Service
We’d like to notice high quality of service, clean rooms, daily change of bed linen and towels.
We’d also recommend to take breakfasts, substantial and proposing variety of local fruits. weak wi-fi
- Thibaut (7/5): Good -
