- Tytishia (4/5): - The location and surrounding shopping area are very nice. The hotel lobby and room were nicely decorated and very clean. The staff were also very nice. Unfortunately, I had no hot water in my room and the desk staff was aware of the issue when I called to notify and April said she should have said something when I checked in but for me to run the water in my sink and shower for 10-15 minutes for hot water which I did. The water never got better than lukewarm. This was highly unacceptable and a major inconvenience. No offer to move me to another room, no discount, or anything was made. If I had not already unpacked and was ready to shower in that moment, I would have requested a different room. My group reservation was made months in advance and if there was an issue with the water heater, I should have been notified or moved prior to check in. This was indeed poor customer service and accommodations on behalf of the hotel. It made my seemingly very nice stay less attractive.

- 858wandar (10/5): THE place to stay!! - Very quiet. Very well maintained both inside and outside. Front desk person very welcoming. Room was very clean. Breakfast room was well stocked and clean. The only downfall was the pool, which looked to be very nice, was kind of cool because the new heater was not hooked up yet. That was happening the next day. Oh well. I looked at alot of hotels and was very disappointed with the reviews. I am so glad I found this Hampton. We were not in town for a ND game but I would think the drive couldn't be that far. There are a lot of restaurants and other stores in this hotel's vicinity. This is the place to stay no matter what the occasion for your stay. We would stay again.

- F7223HHpatrickm (10/5): Fantastic hotel! - This place is awesome! From the moment we walked in the staff was friendly and helpful providing us with curtesy waters on the 92 degree day! Our room was spacious and super clean and the bed was super comfortable and warm. The shower was really large and came loaded with quality soaps and shampoos. I crushed and upper body workout in their gym that came loaded with dumbells and machines as well as treadmills and bikes. After that I relaxed in the pool which was clean and warm and then it was off to bed. Inthe morning I enjoyed a free hot breakfast of eggs, toast and sausage but the also had oatmeal, waffles, pancakes, omelets and tons of other stuff. This hotel is right next to a huge grocery store and a variety if other shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely be back.

- Tara (3/5): Terrible experience that I will never repeat! - The only good feature of this hotel was the brown bag breakfasts they had ready for guests who were leaving and didn't have time to sit down for a full meal. Housekeeping was abysmal. Policies regarding cleaning every other day were undoubtedly started during the pandemic but there is no reason the rooms shouldn't be cleaned every day. For the cost, it's really ridiculous. The first time they came, they emptied two trashcans and left new towels but did not make the beds. I requested the beds be made and in fact they were, but so sloppily it looked like a 4 year-old did it. Very disappointed. Would never recommend and will never stay here again.

- whiteshadow (10/5): Let's do it again! - Our visit was exceptional! Everything about this property, and especially the employees, was far beyond the ordinary. This review will concentrate on a number of factors such as cleanliness, service, location and food. CLEANLINESS--Our room was fresh and clean, very clean; garbage cans empty and fresh plastic containers inside; the tv remote and telephone handle were clean to the touch ( yes, I look at these things ); a swipe of my finger counter tops and end tables showed no dust. Bathroom spotless; linens were fresh, no spots and no stains; solid stream of hot water and long safety bar in shower greatly appreciated. SERVICE--It seemed like every employee at this property had a smile on his or her face...always! Front desk check-n was smooth and quick, with smiles. While waiting for my wife on a number of occasions in the morning I repeatedly heard the front desk employee, Brian, say " Good morning, have a pleasant day." He said this to guests who were not even looking at him. I need to point out another employee who was absolutely outstanding in her contact with my wife and I. Her name is Holly ( Hollie?) who also is normally at the front desk from what I could tell. One evening I advised that the tv was not working. She came to our room with a new remote control but that didn't work. Some 15 minutes later she arrived at our door carrying a huge replacement tv that seemed bigger than herself. She refused to let me help her and she carried the tv into our room, moved the stand and hooked it up. She then, again with smiles, carried the old tv out of the room, refusing my help. Another story with Holly: when she learned that my wife had slipped at the airport and fell a few hours before our check in she was kind enough to provide some extra pillows for my wife to raise her leg while in bed. Kudos to this young lady who represents the staff at this Hilton. FOOD--The breakfast was perfectly fine. I filled up on oatmeal, blueberry muffins, yogurt, eggs ( hard boiled or scrambled), orange juice, tangerines and bananas, and some great coffee. There are other options as well. In conclusion, my wife and I would certainly stay here again. We had a very pleasant stay. Please note that I believe this Hilton is only about 3 and a half miles away from Notre Dame if you are visiting there. On my way out I grabbed the business card of the hotel's General Manager, Jason Stanfill. My comment to Mr. Stanfill is that you have an exceptional staff and property.

- Eileen (10/5): - We really love this hotel. Been here a few times. Stayed 2 days this trip. The staff is very professional and nice. My only complaint is one of the days the pool was not in service so my son was disappointed. However it was fixed for the second day. A suggestion I have is……. it would be nice if they have bacon with their breakfast buffet.
