Guest Reviews
- Bigbert2011 (10/5): Brilliant, just perfect. - Hotel number 3 on this trip and definitely the best. Staff were amazing from reception to restaurant.
Room was massive and didn’t pay a lot for it. Bed was very comfy, Beth room was fab and a great fridge, daft I know but always a bonus.
Eat in the restaurant , the food was delicious and well cooked.
Will try other hotels in this chain in the future. Thanks so much.
Was unserem Besuch jedoch keinen Abriss tat. :)

- sonja (10/5): - Alles prima verlopen
- Eddy (10/5): - Perfecte accomodatie - vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel-lekker gedineerd 2 x
Minus :
Verder was alles top! Goed verzorgd ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel.
- Henrik (10/5): Super Hotel men fantastisk restaurant - Venligt personale, nydeligt Hotel.
Vi spiste i restauranten første aften, helt fantastisk mad:)

- jetmechmike (10/5): Perfect stay - Outstanding accomidations and employees. Very clean, meals are fantastic, break buffet perfect (especially the fresh orange juice!) Plenty of parking on site, and a few chain fast food resturaunts just off property. Had a corner room with huhe tub and shower. Definitely would stay here again.
- geoffh340 (10/5): Probably the best hotel I’ve stayed in - Just returned from a 10 day stay here with a WW11 veterans group.
Cannot fault anything. Cleanliness of the rooms was great.
Food was great, all the staff were always friendly and helpful.
Skybar was great, especially Manuel..
Probably the best hotel we’ve stayed in.
- Claudia (10/5): Easy, restful stay - Excellent choice, true service and convenience
- Diny (10/5): - Heerlijk terras, super vriendelijk personeel
- Nathalie (8/5): - Fijne grote kamers, grote badkamer. Behulpzaam personeel.
- Ashley (6/5): - Room was not made up. Dirty towels on floor. They said Hotels.com should never have sold the room. It was not ready
- LeonvM77 (8/5): Nice hotel, good beds and decent food - Like most new Van Der Valk hotels this is a good place to stay. The rooms are good, clean and with good beds. The food is decent as well and the price not too bad either. So when looking for a hotel to stay a night or two in or close to Uden than this is a good choice.
- vincenzocrst (8/5): One of the best choice in the surrounding - Very good hotel, rooms are very cleaned and parking places are always enough. It is very closed to nearest town (Uden), which can be even reached by walking. The restaurant is the best part, there are two fixed menu or it can be ordered one single course, that's very good! It has to be said that sometimes the queue at reception is quite long and it took for me 20 minutes to ask for a single information.
Anyway I would come back again!
- Valerio (10/5): Great hotel located in a relaxing place - Hotel is very nice, both for business trips and holiday stays. Restaurant offers a wide and tasty menu. Outdoor terrace is amazing and very relaxing. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Staff always helpful and professional.
- marcuswolf66 (10/5): Perfect - Well organized during Covid-19, very friendly, very clean, very good service, nice breakfast. We were in the area playing golf at "The Duke" . The night in the hotel was perfect and the value is great
- friedmikefried (10/5): Great Business Hotel - This location is one of the nicest VDV property. This was my second time staying at this property for business. The rooms are spacious with plenty of connections. The multiple bars are comfortable (aged dutch cheeses, bitterballen, jenever, etc.) with great staff. And the menu is very good with both safe and adventurous choices. The artwork throughout the property (even the big mural) are wonderful. VDV continues to be the best overall value for an upscale property in the Netherlands. Very friendly staff, easy check-in, and good rates. Dinner was very slow as we waited over 20 minutes to order bottle of wine, but after that the pace was good and service was attentive. The bathrooms are always spacious and modern, but I have no idea why people like rains showers so much in predominantly business hotels. Rain showers are great for sex, but not so much for getting shampoo out of your hair. On that note, for some reason VDV doesn't provide hair conditioner at any location that I've seen so bring your own if you have long hair. And similarly, there are never extra sheets or blankets in the rooms and VDV doesn't use top sheets so all you really have is a thin blanket and fitted sheet. And for American's, the VDV king bed is two twins side by side with twin sheets and twin tops so beware if traveling with spouse. Otherwise, the property is clean, modern and very well laid out. I will definitely return.
- stefanoz734 (10/5): Very good - I have been here just for one night during a business trip. Rooms are big and very comfortable. The restaurant is very good as well and the breakfast is great. Of course it is not the cheapest one but the price is correct compare to the quality.
- johnchambers2020 (10/5): Great Hotel - Perfect hotel, really nice top floor bar for quiet business meeting - location good and easy to find for Taxi driver, helpful and kind staff, efficient booking, room a good temperature - no ironing facility in room would be the only call out
- stuartc478 (10/5): Business Trip - The hotel is very nice, modern and the rooms are to a high standard. Can’t fault the restaurant, the evening meals over the two nights were very good - although the hotel was busy the service was acceptable.
- AbelWei (8/5): Great hotel - Modern hotel right next to the highway. Easy to access by car.
Check-in is a breeze. Fast and friendly.
The room is modern: dark brown with white accessories. Separate toilet. Bathroom with walk-in rain shower.
The restaurant provides the usual breakfast and freshly pressed orange juice (from an automated machine). The dinner for a group of 20 is well orchestrated.
There is a sky bar worth a visit. The specialty are gin and tonics.
- wanda060 (10/5): Fabulous Hotel - I have stayed at this hotel two different times. Both have been superb. The beds are comfy, the staff is the best, the food is delicious, especially the breakfast buffet. Definitely recommend. Walking distance to Uden. Easy access, right off highway.
- Johnfcooper (8/5): Top quality hotel - Surprisingly high quality hotel given its location and initial impression driving up to it. Once in, there is a nice upmarket feel to everything, along with good service & good food.
Decent sized bedroom with good bathroom & good shower.
Meal in the restaurant was very good and top floor bar another nice quality surprise (shame about the views).
Breakfast also good.
- cork9663 (10/5): A great place to stay - excellent food, room and service. The staff went above and beyond to care for the WW2 veterans. The service in the restaurant was quick and accurate. The front desk was very helpfull with directions and other required services.
- Scott (8/5): OK, but could have been better. - Generally OK, but surprised that this 100th Vallk property wasn’t as good as others. I mean, light fixtures making high pitched noises, not replacing empty tissue boxes or note pads that had 2 pages in them when arriving...and no pool like other properties. Oh well. Decent stay, but could have been better. The sky bar was a highlight and well ran.
- pnovais2019 (6/5): Nice hotel but close to a hospital - The hotel is modern, the room is nice and spacious, the breakfast was good. However, the hotel is situated right next to a hospital. I was waken up during the night due to the loud siren of an ambulance.
- Rodolfo (10/5): Uden - Very comfortable, friendly and helpful staff
- Dream36073278874 (8/5): Vandervalk always good value - Excellent breakfast buffet - comfortabele beds - convenient bathroom with seperate toilet - close to Eindhoven Nijmegen den bosch - friendly staff - Mc Donalds and Subway next door - car necessary - dogs not allowed - Nice skybar
- Arno0571 (8/5): Relaxed stay - A nice, clean hotel. Friendly and skillful staff.
Room was spacious and equipped with a lot of amenities.
Bed was good but I removed the top liner. That didn’t stay on the mattress properly for comfort.
Beautiful and great shower/bathroom. Daily cleaning was thoroughly done.
The automatic sunblinds adjuster annoyed me a couple times.
I enjoyed the well assorted breakfast and diner. Great food and fresh.
Both restaurant, outdoor seating and the sky-bar are beautiful and giving a relaxed feel.
Plenty parking space. They have bikes for rent (€10 a day) if you want to enjoy downtown Uden or the scenic countryside upclose.
For sure a hotel I’ll visit again if I’m in the area.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff were amazing in being helpful and very accommodating with changing and upgrading room when air conditioning not working.
- louielol (10/5): The best value stay on our trip - We stayed here because we had dinner with some cousins that live in Uden. The Van der Valk was an outstanding Hotel. The rooms were large, clean and modern. The beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Overall, this was the best value on our whole European trip!
- FarAway40188513716 (10/5): COmfortable stay in Uden - If you are staying in Uden, this is a good choice with a good ratio between price, quality and location. Rooms are clean and quiet. Very nice bathroom. Breakfast is good and parking is without problems.
- Sergei (6/5): nothing remarkable - Generally nothing to notice. Standard business hotel. Area a bit noisy as hotel located just at round-about, so if you like to open windows over night - forget abut it. Overall hotel is a bit expensive for it standard.
- Jeremy (8/5): - Nice hotel.
- Doug (8/5): - Would prefer a non transparent door for the washroom but otherwise very nice hotel.
- Yoonki (10/5): Comfortable, relaxing, clean, quiet, stylish - This is my 3rd time in Uden, Netherlands; and, I first booked at this hotel my 2nd trip. I enjoyed it last year, and I enjoyed my stay at Van der Valk this time as well. If you just want to relax in a clean, stylish, quiet hotel then this is the only hotel that meets these criteria in Uden (trust me. I've been to different hotels in Uden then come back to this one). I'm not sure how many more chances I'll have to come to Uden, but I'll stay at this hotel again if I'm in the area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent Hotel - Excellent stay, used for business, will be using again for certain if needed.Would recommend to anyone.First class in everything.
- Angela (10/5): Wonderful hotel - Unfortunately this wonderful hotel is a little ways from anywhere. Other than that it is great
- David (8/5): Very good business hotel - Everything worked. Good bed, good shower, good food. Helpful staff.
This was a real gem to find in this part of the country.
- Yoonki (10/5): Great Stay - I really enjoyed my stay a lot. I had booked 3 nights at this hotel then extended it it 3 more days for the Jr Suite because I was very satisfied with my stay. After booking another hotel for the last 3 days of my stay in Uden, I ended up leaving that hotel the first night and rebooking at Van der Valk for 3 additional nights for a total of 9 nights. I'm almost positive that I'll pick Van der Valk again for my next visit to Uden; maybe even for other cities as well. The only minor issues I noticed were: the plastic cups provided seem to be a waste of money because half of them are always broken, there's an odd smell in the hallways at times, and the metal faucet in the bathroom sink was loose in room 408 during my first 3 nights.
- Yoonki (10/5): A nice new hotel in Uden. - I was pleasantly surprised by how nice and stylish the hotel was for the price. The atmosphere was nice and my room was comfortable. I'd definitely stay again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Super hotel - everything you want and need - I stayed here for 4 nights, and it's one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, great beds and bedding, bathrooms are super clean, efficient layout -- warm atmosphere and helpful, kind staff with clean, crisp, efficient design. Wonderful breakfasts too. The location is excellent too, easy access to highways but just a short bike ride (they can rent you one of their bikes if available) into the lovely town of Uden -- which I recommend you do if you have time.
- Paul (10/5): - Excellent very good alround.
- Paul (10/5): - Excellent alround.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Awesome hotel - Perfectly located close to highway access, very good facilities, caring personnel.
- Jan (4/5): Won't be back any time soon - The hotel is fairly new and the location is good (next to highway; downtown is 5 min away). So far so good, but as a frequent traveler maybe I'm spoiled but if you claim to have a good fitness room, I expect to be able to use it, hence my surprise one day when the fitness room was repurposed as a meeting room. Also as far as breakfast is concerned: not a lot of options for vegan/vegetarians and some days they would just be reluctant to put out things like bananas and salmon, even though they had them (they even suggested I eat something else). Last but not least, i was outside one evening smoking (smoking area next to entrance) and found myself locked out (after midnight) with nobody at the front desk and when ringing the door bell and calling their number, I would just get a busy signal because the guy was calling his girlfriend or something.
- Theophilus (8/5): Completely new Hotel - Completely new Hotel and it is beautiful.
- Daniel (10/5): Excellent Business Hotel - Excellent Hotel. Great roof top sky lounge
- Rodolfo (10/5): Uden - Van der Valk - Hotel is very nice. Restaurant food is good, nice bar on the top floor. Not too many other places to eat, but short taxi ride for center of town.
- Reg (8/5): Holland - Very Helpful
- Martin (10/5): Excellent hotel - Excellent hotel, suitable both for business and leisure. Very modern, clean and with friendly staff.
- Neil (10/5): Fantastic - Fantastic Hotel. A bit out of town but extremely good value for money!
