• Emrah (8/5): - Das Hotel befindet ist direkt am Meer, allerdings sind die Parkplätze sehr eng und schwer zugänglich, leider gibt es nur 2 Möglichkeiten in der Nähe zum Essen gehen, keine Spielplätze für die Kinder.
• Reinhard (8/5): - Schönes, ruhiges Hotel in traumhafter Lage direkt am Meer. Lediglich die Zufahrt gestaltet sich etwas schwierig, da die Straße sehr eng und steil ist und auch die wenigen vorhandenen Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel sind sehr eng. Hotelbesitzer waren sehr freundlich und bemüht, es gab jedoch bei der Ankunft keinerlei Information, wie z. B. Frühstückszeiten oder Nutzungsmöglichkeiten für den vorhandenen Fitness- und Saunabereich, auch eine Anleitung für den Tresor ist nicht vorhanden. Der in unserem Zimmer war bei Ankunft verschlossen und wir bekamen auf Nachfrage nur den Hauptschlüssel und mussten uns selbst darum kümmern herauszufinden wie der Tresor funktioniert. Frühstück war ausreichend, aber sehr eintönig. Z. B. gab es erst am 8. Tag eine andere Marmeladensorte als Kirsche und immer nur die gleichen 2 Wurstsorten. Ab Tag 6 waren auch die Frühstückssemmeln aus und es gab nur noch Brot. In Summe jedoch trotzdem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

• Bridget (10/5): Quiet stay in a quaint seaside village. - Lovely hotel in a quiet seaside village. The service was excellent and so was the breakfast. The bathroom had an automatic dim light that came on when you entered which was nice in the middle of the night. The doors looking over the sea opened completely to have a full view of the turquoise sea. We had no problem parking on the pier during September which is a slower season but it may be difficult to find parking during the high season as the town only has one steep road in and out. Also make sure to walk to the next beach over to the south. It was lovely as well.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Mysigt och lugnt - Mysig och lugn liten by för en avkopplande badsemester. Hotel Pleter har fantastisk utsikt över vattnet, ni måste boka rum med sea view. Standarden i Kroatien motsvarar dock inte de höga priserna. Det är inget lyxhotell utan enkelt, men rent och modernt. Den lilla byn har tre restauranger inklusive hotellets egen restaurang. Priserna är nästan som i Sverige på maten men kranvattnet är drickbart så ni behöver inte köpa flaskvatten. Om ni vill shoppa så åk in till Split.

• 452MichaelL (8/5): Lovely quiet spot to stay - Hotel Pleter is in Mimice which is a very quiet and pretty village. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the sea. It seemed to be part of an extension so the access was strange, going up three storeys of back stairs. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast outstanding.

• hena01 (8/5): recommended - Having just returned from this friendly family run hotel in Croatia I’d definitely recommend it to friends and family. The ideal place to chill out and relax. We had a room with sea view which in reality meant opening the curtains every morning to a fantastic view of the small harbour, sea and shingle beach. The family running the hotel couldn’t do enough for us and the waiter, Ivane, was very attentive making sure all of our needs were catered for whilst eating in the outdoor dining area by the waters edge. Definitely worth a visit!
• Verified traveler (8/5): Avslappende ferie - Litt "treg" innsjekking for vi måtte vente i over en halv time før vi fikk tildelt rom. Rommet vi fikk var uten balkong,- noe vi hadde bestilt og betalt ekstra for. Ny ventetid på nesten en time før vi fikk det riktige rommet. Fin og rolig beliggenhet, koselig og hyggelig personale og deilig mat. Særtlig den du bestilte av menyen. Frokosten var helt grei. Fin beliggenhet til sjøen og kort vei til stranden.😊 Renholdet kunne vært bedre. En dag kom de å skulle re opp senger og vaske kl halv fem om ettermiddagen. Var uheldig og skar meg i fingeren og fikk dermed blod på sengetøyet. Ganske synlige blodflekker. Sengetøyet ble ikke skiftet før etter to døgn.
• Roger (10/5): Great views of the sea and quiet beach. - The hotel is family owned and the staff very friendly and trying to help with everything we needed. I think it has also be recently remodeled. I was traveling with my wife and my parents and our two rooms were facing the sea with a great view. The hotel also had a restaurant and the seafood was excellent. We also enjoyed the beach very much as it was not crowded and I wish we stayed there longer. One of our best experiences in our trip to Croatia
• niwernecke (10/5): Beautiful relaxing days in Mimice - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely hotel directly on the sea. All staff was extremely friendly and attentive! Rooms were nice and clean with a fantastic view, food at breakfast and dinner very good. We loved the small beach (only a few steps from the hotel) with very blue, clear and refreshing water and made daily trips by car to Split or island Hvar, which were nearby. Can highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. Thanks a lot! 
• yelyah29 (6/5): Lovely location but staff were not very professional - Pleter is in a fantastic location but down the bottom of a steep hill (which we were told was like most places in Croatia as the main roads are higher up and often hotels are lower down closer to the waterfront) - this may be an issue if you have problems with mobility. The beach that lines the hotel is wonderful and very secluded - at times it felt like we had our own stretch of beach to ourselves. There is not too many restaurants nearby but a few with a great pizza place that we ate at several times (probably what you would expect not being in a busy area). Brela and Omis are nearby which made lovely day trips out, as well as Split. The hotel is very basic although nice and clean. Staff were a very friendly family however from the night we arrived we were told we did not have two rooms waiting for us like we had booked. Obviously we stated that we expect to have what we had paid for so they still gave us two rooms in the end although they were rather small and had no views whatsoever (either looking out on to a wall or a back walkway). From then on every day when walking through the lobby we were approached and asked if we would consider all joining into one room as by their own mistake they had double-booked families wanting to stay at the hotel. We were not offered a refund for the compromise but instead discounted prices on a fishing boat trip which we were not interested in. We refused as we had paid for two rooms. Despite this they were all still very understanding and kind, we just wish they would have been more professional and organised and didn't burden us with issues every time we saw them. We are looking at visiting Croatia again this year but will not be returning to this same area - 1) simply because we want to experience another area and 2) we would like more options for activities and restaurants.
• 784zeljkab (10/5): Beautiful area with wonderful hotel - This place is really nice, calm and with beautiful view. Hotel is few meters from the sea, with nice clean rooms, good food and wonderful staff. I would recommend it to everybody who whats to have nice and peaceful holiday with possibility to visit near by citys like Dubrovnik, Makarska, Omiš or even island Brač. Hope to come back soon :)
• jennygoss0146 (4/5): 1st holiday on my own - Room very average for a 4* hotel. Position very good as right on the small quay. Several small shingle beaches. Road down from highway very steep. Stayed on half board basis. Very samey breakfast. Evening meal was basically crap. No customer service. I don't expect the owner to be slopping around the restaurant in shorts & tee shirt with piles of paperwork on the dining room tables, often with the TV on. Definitely not in the 4* bracket. Who grades these places?
• Ficoliini (8/5): One night stay - We were on our way from south to north in croatian coast and just turn left down when we saw this hotel label. Lucky us there were room for us without reservation. The room was clean but little bit tiny but just suitable for my husband to sleep 12 hours in nice bed after driving many hours. The continental breakfast was OK.
• Bruno (6/5): Hotel in posto caratteristico - L'hotel è posto ai piedi di una spiaggia molto bella. Il posto è abbastanza affollato e ci sono difficoltà di parcheggio in quanto ci si accede da una stradina stretta ed impervia, dove non ci passano contemporaneamente 2 macchine. Per chi ama il mare è un posto ideale, ma c'è poca scelta per mangiare ed i prezzi sono alti. Praticamente gli stessi praticati in Italia. Per chi va in Croazia attenzione ai noleggi macchina! Prendono una caparra molto alta ed il personale non rispetta gli orari, per cui ho avuto problemi per riconsegna. Non mi hanno dato l'auto che volevo, ma una macchina con il cambio automatico, e questo mi ha dato molto fastidio.
• Maria (4/5): NOT EVEN CLOSE TO A 4 STAR HOTEL!! - There were so many things wrong with this hotel, It does not even come close to a 4 star rating, more like a badly run two star. Below are just a few of the things we noted: The manager kept his paperwork and admin on a table in the restaurant, it looked like a pile of trash, while he walked around in dirty t-shirt, shorts and flip flops, starring at guests. The staff (excluding the restaurant personnel) wore private clothes such as t-shirt, shorts and tank tops. The breakfast bread was served completely frozen. The manager came with stale breakfast in plastic bags from local super market. Rotten fruit in the buffe Dirty milk can without lid, also it was not kept cool so it became disgusting after awhile. The breakfast plates and accessories were dirty. Broken chairs in the outdoor serving, and only 4 cushions available. We were given the wrong room on arrival. Broken items in the bathroom (toilet roll holder) Irregular cleaning of our room, on one occasion it was forgotten. Dirty balcony that was not cleaned during our stay. Tiny waste baskets - we had to put our trash on the floor. The white furniture looked stained and dirty. Staff was smoking in an area where guests have to pass to get to their rooms. Upon our early morning check out, a staff member was laying on a sofa in the reception playing mobile games, he ignored us and kept laying in the sofa while shouting for another person.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Bel endroit sur la côte. Accueil sympathique - L'endroit est parfait pour rayonner sur la côte (OMIS / SPILT). Accès facile en basse saison mais surement difficile en été. Accueil sympathique et serviable, Service restauration lent => note moyenne service Odeurs désagréables dans salle de bain (prévoir un déodorant). Idem dans 2 chambres => note moyenne sur confort. Mais le reste est d'une bonne prestation.
• never2old (10/5): Second Visit In Two Years - We loved Hotel Pleter so much last year that we came from Canada once again this September. We were warmly greeted by Elena who recognized us immediately. We were once more thrilled to be in this gorgeous location. The sea views are incredible. The hotel is modern, clean and well equipped. We again felt almost like family. We enjoyed lovely breakfasts and dinners at the hotel with very personal service. The owner of the hotel treated us to liqueurs one night at dinner which was most appreciated. We felt sad to leave but were delighted to celebrate our 50th anniversary in such an idyllic place. We highly recommend this hotel.
• zolt_nn58 (6/5): High price average value - The location is nice, because the neaest beach is just 50 m far from the hotel, but the parking facility is all along the coast really poor and it is very difficult to move with the car. The room size was quite small altough we had a balcony which view went to the see but the service entrance was just below us and we shared the balcony with the neighbours with a simple separator. The air-conditioner was loud and it was not able to keep the desired temperature. The breakfast was decent but not diverse. In summary high price average value.

• JohnOskiclimb (10/5): Don't listen to Ingrid - Staff was friendly, place was clean, good views, hardly anyone on the beach. The sun does not set over the mountains at hotel Pleter. The mountains are to the east. The sun sets in the west over the sea. Breakfast was really good.

• Thomas (8/5): Schönes Hotel in idyllischer Umgebung - Das Hotel Peter ist direkt am Meer im idyllischen Örtchen Mimice gelegen. Es ist recht neu, wirkt sehr gepflegt und die Zimmer sind hell, sehr sauber und angenehm modern ausgestattet. Die Meerblick-Zimmer bieten zudem einen fantastischen Ausblick auf das Meer und die Umgebung. Es gibt eine direkt am Wasser gelegene Terrasse, die für die Mahlzeiten genutzt wird. Wenn das Hotel gut belegt ist, wird es dort allerdings knapp mit dem Platzangebot - zumal die Kellner zum Teil erst dazu aufgefordert werden müssen, frei werdende Tische abzuräumen und für den nächsten Gast vorzubereiten. Man könnte zwar in das Hotelrestaurant nach drinnen ausweichen, aber wer möchte bei schönem Wetter schon drinnen sitzen... Es fehlt zudem eine gemütliche Lobby (z. B. für kühlere Abende) - auch hier ist das Restaurant eher eine Notlösung ( zumal viel zu hell und ungemütlich beleuchtet). Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet zwar grundsätzlich alles, was man braucht, aber es gab keinerlei Abwechslung. Zudem wurde vieles (Marmelade, Butter, Frischkäse....) in abgepackter Form angeboten. (Instant-)Kaffee und (Pulver-)Säfte kamen leider aus dem Automaten. Die Tische muss man sich als Gast komplett selbst eindecken was ich für ein 4*Haus nicht in Ordnung finde. Auch nicht mehr benötigtes Geschirr oder Abfälle werden durch den Kellner nicht "zwischendurch" abgeräumt. Hier besteht noch Verbesserungsbedarf. Davon abgesehen, war es ein schöner, erholsamer Aufenthalt in wunderbarer Umgebung.
• Roberto (8/5): - Das Empfangspersonal war eher reserviert, freundlich aber zurückhaltend. Zimmer sauber und nett. Parkplatz Reservierung bei der Buchung muss geändert werden. Wir mussten immer nach einem Parkplatz suchen (zwar gefunden) aber es ist mühsam, wenn man ein Hotel mit Parkplatz bucht und kein Parkplatz reserviert ist. Muss geändert werden. Ansonsten schöne Lage und das Restaurantpersonal ist sehr freundlich.
• Sarah (8/5): Lovely stay for a couple of days - We had a lovely couple of nights at this hotel. The room was very nice but the view was incredible! The lady on reception was really friendly and helpful. For some reason our room did not get made up on the second day but reception listened and sorted us out clean towels. The buffet breakfast was great and the hotel restaurant was good for dinner- the seabass was delicious! Unfortunately the weather was poor on the second day and as the area was so small there isn't anything else to do when you can't go to the beach! Great stay for a couple of days.

• 134ingridf (2/5): Horrible hotel - The hotel is not how it lookes on the website. We expereienced this hotel as a nightmare. My boyfriend and I had booked for a week, but left after two days. We felt fooled by the hotel in many ways from the beginning. First for the airport transportation we wrote a message on their webpage message box a week before going there, asking for transportation, but got no answer. We send a reminder afteer few days and then they answered it was okay, but when we arrived we had to pay double price for the transport because of late notice, when it actually was that they had not answered on our message. Second, we arrived at the hotel after a terrible ride with the transportation, lasting for more then two hours, sitting really bad in an smelly car, finding the receptionist talking in the phone for a long time. She excused that, but still she answered an incomming call as we were standing there cheching in. She told another couple that cheked in at the same time the times for breakfast and other things about the hotel stay. We stood a bit behind and as it was babys and small children crying in the reception area, it was hard to hear what she said. However, she told us that it was the same for us as she had told them. When I later asked for the time for breakfast, she said "I already told you so", and repeated the times. Maybe it was the language that was the problem, but I found it kind of rude. Third, when we finally cheked in she said that she had to hear with the cleaning lady if the room were finished but we could sit on the terrace and wait and she would come and get us when the room was ready. The terrace was nice and we sat there and ate for a couple of hours, but she did not come to get us. We went back tot he reception she told us that the room had been ready actually, but she did not want to interupt us. We were waiting polite that she should come as she said. In a short time we felt a bit tricked by the hotel and not taken seriously. The hotels advirtise that it is quiet and peacful, and we found it the opposite. The hotel was full of screaming children and the beach was overcrowded of people. There were no sunbeds and a small rock beach. We had a room with balcony and sea view, but the balcony was dirty and really small and the sea view was narrrow. The room was small and do not look as a four star hotel room. The bed was really hard. In the night there were many insects in the room. Mimice in it self is very beatiful, but there are so many other much more beatiful and peaceful places in Croatia. Mimice is in a cove whitout sunset and the sun disapears early behind the mountains. We found Hotel Pleter and Mimice as a more stressful place and we were glad we breaked off the stay at Hotel Pleter, but we felt we lost two days of our holiday and the money, as we had prepaid the hotel and they did not give us no money back. I have never before cheked out from a hotel before planned, but we were much more happy about leaving than staying here.I would not recomend this hotel to anybody.
• jonin73 (4/5): Disappointing hotel - Our stay at Hotel Pleter in July 2016 did not meet our expectations at all, and it is difficult to understand how this hotel rates 4 stars. On its homepage, the hotel offers airport transport for "60 Euros per transfer, for up to 4 people". Well, we shared a car from Split Airport - booked several days in beforehand (amazingly uncomfortable transport, by the way) - with another couple. Still, both couples were charged with 60 Euros each by the hotel, upon arrival. This is, needless to say, scamming guests for money. In charging both couples, the hotel argued that we had reserved the car "in the last minute" - which was highly untrue. In fact, we had to email the hotel twice before we got a written response, prior to our travel. At the front desk, the receptionist prioritized incoming phone calls rather than finishing what came to be a long check-in process. The rooms at the hotel are highly average in any respect (standard, beds, balcony "with sea view" etc). With regard to the advertised "peaceful" surroundings: Well, the small piece of beach was totally over-crowded with people.
• Simon + Julie (8/5): Top zum Ausruhen zu 2. - Dolce vita vor Ort, ruhiger Strand, Restaurantterrasse direkt am Meer, nahe Städte und Städtchen, Natur, Besuch naher Inseln.
• Babel2003 (4/5): Almost fine, except... - The pros: Clean, modern, and tastefully designed rooms overlooking the sea on a beautiful stretch of coastline. Small pebble beach right outside the hotel, and nice outdoor terrace for drinks at the end of the day. The cons: The complementary breakfast was catastrophic. We went downstairs toward the beginning of the breakfast hour to find nothing ready and staff smoking outside, completely ignoring us. Finally a scruffy looking guy brought out some stale bread and yogurt and offered us eggs. What came out was like nothing we've ever seen: omelets drenched in brown, rancid tasting oil that must have been reused numerous times. That experience and the unprofessional attitude of the staff left a bad taste in our mouth that soured what would otherwise have been a pleasant stay.
• alawor (6/5): Late but considered review. - We possibly chose the wrong month to visit Hotel Pleter, late in September, this is what we found. The room was well appointed and overlooked the bay, and was cleaned regularly. We did have a problem with the hand basin not emptying, which was eventually sorted after difficulty explaining the problem. We had gone half board but this was possibly a mistake, the food was quite mediocre, maybe we should have gone a'la carte. If chicken was ordered you heard the mallet flattening It before grilling, a very uninspiring menu. The bay is very beautiful and lovely for swimming and sunbathing but should you like to walk is very restricted. The extent of any walk is that which can see from the Hotel, 5 mins each way. Should you wish to go further afield and do not want to hire a car you have to make your way to the top road. Now, you three choices, a steep unmade path, a even steeper road from behind the Hotel, and a long steep road. It is said that the supermarket is 50 Mtrs away, I think that vertically as it's on the top road. We found that it was easy enough once you had got your breath back, to catch a bus to Omis or Makarska should you wish. We recognise that people who are content to stay on the beach will be very happy with their choice, but if you have mobility problems, beware. The staff were very friendly, especially the receptionist without whose help we would not have made the journey to the Airport. The shuttle bus could not make it down to the Hotel and this was never explained to us. We decided to write this now because on now reading the description of the Hotel and it's environment it is a bit misleading. If you go to swim and sunbathe we are sure you will love every minute.
• Chris and Fay (10/5): Lovely clean hotel with very helpful caring staff - Located in a quite nice area close to the Adriatic. Wonderful views. The rooms with balcony scare set back so there is a trade off with rooms without balcony a having better views through double opening doors. Would definitely return.

• Roberto (10/5): Highly recommended! - Everything was just perfect. We spent two nights in this Hotel and all we can say is that it's a very clean hotel, room was pretty comfortable and clean. Restaurant service for dinner as well as for breakfast was superb and food served was of first quality. Staff was very helpfull and kind. • Anik (10/5): Petite perle à Mimice - Arrivée tardive ne facilitant pas la recherche de l'hôtel mais nous avons eu quelques difficultés à trouver. Séjour dans cet hôtel enchanteur. L'hotel semble neuf , au bord de la mer avec terrasse au ras de l'eau. Personnel charmant, possibilité de repas le soir. Endroit paisible et région magnifique . Ravis de cette découverte.
• never2old (10/5): First Class Accommodation and Staff! - We absolutely loved everything about our three day stay at this beautiful hotel. By the time we left we felt like family! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! The hotel is new with excellent decor, the sea views are exquisite. We ate at the outdoor restaurant situated right by the sea. We swam at the nearby beach. Meals were excellent too. We would love to come back. Our friend forgot her medication and Elena, the front desk hostess, went to extraordinary measures to have it forwarded to Dubrovnik the next morning by bus. Vjeko was also very friendly and personable, giving us lots of advice and information about the area. I highly recommend this hotel!

• Billyboyo (10/5): Superb hotel where you feel a special guest - This hotel is modern being only built a couple of years ago. It is spotlessly clean in all areas. It is overlooking the sea and beside the pebble beach. They do have beach mats and parasols for the use of guests free of charge. It is situated in a small bay with a few other houses and small blocks of apartments alongside. It has it's own restaurant both inside and outside on a terrace beside the sea. The food is v good and the kitchen and waiting staff very friendly. One of the highlights was the attitude of the staff. They were most friendly, helpful and when we came away we felt we were leaving friends behind. Even the owner of the hotel came out to wish us well when we were leaving.They made us feel like honoured guests. The room was spacious and comfortable with air conditioning. The only down side for those without a car is there is a very steep path/steps to the main road to the bus stop and local supermarket but it is good exercise but not suitable for those with mobility problems. We recommend this hotel as one of the best we have visited.

• elizsalih (10/5): Friendly and clean, beautiful views - Stayed with my daughter and we really enjoyed it here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the hotel was very clean. No pool but it is literally on the beach. It is a bit out of the way in a quiet little village - took hours to get to Dubrovnik and the national parks however the location is beautiful. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Breakfast was lovely - lots of choice, dinner was not too great though (unless you love fish) the meat/ veg options were not too great. • Verified traveler (10/5): Koselig hotell rett i nærheten av stranden. - Et trivelig hotell som ligger i en liten bukt like ved stranden. Rikholdig frokost. Svært serviceminded personale. Området rundt er relativt stille og rolig, men veldig vakkert. Har man lyst på mer liv og røre, går det busser til byer i nærheten. Vi tok taxi ved flere anledninger. Resepsjonisten tilbød også å kjøre oss til nabobyen Omic ved et par anledninger og informerte om severdigheter, historie osv.

• jung hyung (10/5): 2박3일 가족여행 우연히 만난 오미스 플레터호텔 - 스프리프 2박 여행중 숙소가 시끄럽고 에어컨 작동 안되어 급하게 호텔스닷컴 이용해서 가게된 플레터호텔~~엑셀렌트!! 호텔 직원들 아주친절하고 호텔 바로 앞쪽에 바다있어서 호텔서 쉬다가 바로 바다로 수영가고 일광욕 할수있어요 아침 조식도 달걀 후라이 삶은달걀 베이컨 햄 소세지 수박 파인애플 자두 사과 요거트 쥬스등 맛있어요 바깥 바다보면서 조식 할수있어요 호텔에서 바닷가 에서 누울수있는 돗자리도 빌려주구요 우리가 예약한 방은 오션뷰가아니고 공원뷰여서 나무랑 호텔벽만 보여서 조금 서운했지만 호텔 전체적으로 깨끗하고 직원들 친절하고 음식 맛있어요 점심 저녁도 이곳 호텔서 먹었는데 스파게티가 50쿠나정도니까 한국돈9000원정도 참치구이85쿠나 치킨구이및감자칩 45쿠나 등 점심때 레몬맥주 쥬스 커피 아이스티에 네명식사비가 300쿠나가 못되니 약 5만원에 푸짐한 식사~~^^ 참 가장 중요한것은 식사전에 요리시 소금을 절반만 넣어달라고 부탁해야해요~~그래야 짜지않은 음식 즐길수있어요
