The breakfast options were standard: waffles, oatmeal, cereal, scrambled eggs, and sausage. Kitchenette with apartment-sized fridge/freezer was very nice to have, and the dishwasher was a bonus. There wasn't anything that made my stay unpleasant.

- Danette (10/5): - We’ve been here several times. Close to BWI in a safe, low traffic area. Lots of food nearby and a Sam’s. Great location for football games in Baltimore. Friendly staff, good breakfast, cookies and tea at 6pm.

- Lady911Driver (10/5): Nice, modern interior and the right hotel for working folks - I was very surprised at how nice this little Townplace Suites was. It has obviously been recently renovated throughout and felt clean and modern. The staff were nice, and even the breakfast wasn't bad, in an era where most free hotel breakfasts are inedible. This hotel had a small, modern gym, and was quiet for my whole stay. In the summer months there is an outdoor pool but it was of course not open in April. Finally, there is an outdoor grill area for the warmer months. Looking forward to staying again.

- 783dillonc (4/5): Team No Sleep - The beds are stiff, and the walls are thin. If you get a room facing the parking lot you will hear ever car driving past in the parking lot and on the road. Between that and the train good luck getting any sleep. There rooms only get cleaned once a week and it's usually just a quick making of the bed

Breakfast was perfect for us - eggs, bacon, plain yogurt, coffee - with many additional choices to please everyone. Room was fresh, clean and quiet.

- Lisa (5/5): Okay for a short term not long term. - The studio was nice mainly for two people. The cleaning and maintenance staff were friendly. Majority of the front staff were very friendly. We did not like the caliber of all the guests. I was under the impression the hotel hosted mainly government and military families and/or business workers, however it appears they outsourced to contractors, who treat the facility as a dorm rather than a hotel. There is loitering during late hours, they leave the trash in the hallways and play their music at a high volume. This is in the “B” building.

- MikeO181 (6/5): Should not list as handicap accessible rooms - I'm really puishing this as a 3, realistically its a 2! However, their Assistant General Manager, who in my opinion, should have been the manager, is at least a 10! I know, 5 is tops. However, Laura S was the happiest, friendliest, can/will do we have ever met at a Marriott. She always showed a deep concern for our needs, was always smiling, and was always working with a staff person, and, always stopping to greet someone. Sadly, and Marriotts huge loss, she is now gone. This particular hotel will never be able to replace what she was to theml! We had four weeks of experienceing her positivity! Next was Oscar, the do it all guy... he was awesome! Next, the majority of workers are unhappy... especially early morning workers.. As for the hotel, its dated, and needs an upgrade.. soon. We were in an 'accessable' room, wher yiou just couldnt roll into the bath area as the lip was too high for a lift.. as was the transition between carpet and flooring. To top it off.. this handicap accessable room... DID NOT HAVE A TABE TO EAT ON!! we had to use a side table from a wheelchair!!! Second person ate from their lap!! So... if you need an accessible room... skip this.. pay a little more and get what you need!

Please I've asking for a refund but your company is not at all helpful.

- David (4/5): - I booked through Expedia for a great price of under a hundred dollars for a pet friendly hotel. However, when I want to check in, the receptionist said that there was an additional $100 fee for having a dog. There was no mention of that in the description or in the check-in procedure online. I asked that the manager be consulted as I was not going to pay more to have my dog in the room, then the cost of the room itself and the fact that it was not mentioned I was unsure that I should pay it at all. They reduced it somewhat to fifty, but the experience was not a good one. The "suite" had AC that could not be turned down, and broken electrical fixtures and outlets.

- Philip (10/5): Great Place to Stay, Between Baltimore and DC - I actually already answered a hotel-generated survey for my 6/30-7/2 stay. This wider "Review" draws on that. Before retirement, I used to live in suburban-DC MD (now called 'The DMV' ?!). Have moved away, but do return often to the area. This trip, I was looking for a place between Baltimore and Washington so I could travel easily to either city. Close to BWI-Marshall airport, too, as this hotel is near the "intersection" of MD Route 32 and the B-W Parkway. TownePlace Suites by Marriott Fort Meade was clean, comfortable, and convenient. It worked out great. I arrived later on Friday, 6/30. After a long drive, I appreciated that Sharon was so courteous and professional at check-in. When I decided to stay another night, LaToya at the front desk was most helpful. The breakfast buffet, superbly managed each morning by Rosea, was delicious and had a nice selection. This hotel in a townhouse-like set-up -- by a corporate-type park of office buildings -- no doubt is home during the week for visiting professionals. My suite was spacious and comfy, and included a full kitchenette. Alas, I never did make it to an Orioles game because the weather was not very good and the skies were smoky, but Camden Yards is under a half-hour up the Parkway. Restaurants and shopping/gas are a short drive away. Thank you TownePlace Suites. I hope for a future return!
- L7426LXjoannam (8/5): Nice room in a quiet area. - My friend and I enjoyed tonight stay at this hotel. The room was clean. Upon entering the room there was quite a strong odor, possibly from fumigation or cleaning products. We turned the air conditioning fan on constantly to try to help to remove the smell. We did not suffer any ill affects from the odor, but it was extremely noticeable when entering the room. The bed was very comfortable. I had difficulty rising from the low height sofa, but the chair provided for the desk was comfortable enough to sit in during the evenings. We really enjoyed the convenience of having a small kitchen. It was well stocked with glassware, plates, and silverware. We were on the first floor, and our hallway was very quiet and conducive to a good nights rest. We easily drove to visit Annapolis and several places in Columbia. I would stay here again.

While the rooms are overall good, it appears to be a remodel of an old building. The furniture and color scheme are outdated. The kitchen appliances are old. A noisy neighbor could ruin your stay experience. Avoid adjoining rooms as those are even less soundproof.

So I booked her here, at the Towneplace Suites. I like the larger rooms that you find in an extended-stay suites hotel. This hotel had a free breakfast, which was necessary for her son. I specifically asked for a low floor, near an elevator, to minimize walking if I could. I checked her in early, on the app. When we got there, the room keys were all ready. Her room was on the ground floor, by the side door, away from all the traffic of the front desk. It was wonderful! Just what we needed for someone who has walking limitations. She didn't have to walk down long corridors, just came in through the side door. Her son brought her breakfast in the morning. I don't think she ever made it to the lobby. So we got a quiet room, convenient for her, large enough for two adults, and amenities that the son loved. There are six Marriott-brand hotels by this airport, and I am convinced that I found the right one. Major kudos to the staff at the reception desk who had everything ready for us, even though we arrived early. Great job!
- Nancy (4/5): - the staff is very nice. I tried avoiding writing a review but I am a little disappointed. I booked for 7 days. by day 3, my whole body is filled with bites from bed bugs. They switched my room, gave me 8 dollars for laundry and 20k points on my account which don't even buy me 2 rooms at the same cheap hotel. i asked them to reconsider, and they wouldn't. It took 24 hours for every single decision they made because there is never a supervisor on site. Overall, unfortunately, i would never stay here again. Which is a shame, i love marriot.

- Rebecca (6/5): Nice for a long term stay but not fancy - Overall stay was good. Hotel seems older and not well kept up. I had issues with the stove, the GFCI outlet in the kitchen. The exterior doors kept not working with the room keys, at times I had to get a hotel employee to let me into my building. They do allow pets and they did keep the room really clean.
- Ronald (10/5): A great stay - This hotel was one of the very best bargains we've encountered on our many travels. We'll be sure to stay here again when next we are in the area.
