- Tom (3/5): Very tired and dilapidated - Reasonably cost effective. Sauna and steam room were not working even after a recent service. Quality of the food is below average. Beds are of average quality. The general aesthetic is becoming drab and very tired.
- Sharon (7/5): Not like it used to be - We have stayed here a few times but unfortunately it’s really gone downhill, rooms were not very clean in corners especially bathroom, communal area carpets need a good clean, and the cups and plates at breakfast were very dirty, you really had to search to get clean! Such a shame

You had to book for pool which was a pain we got in but when we swam the pool was not busy so people must book and not cancel . Also get towels from reception or take your own if you get from pool they charge and if you don’t stay in a themed room they charge £3 per person per swim There wasn’t must organisation between pool area and restaurant with reception tbh

- Richard (8/5): Very good hotel for visiting the park. - Perfect location at the park with view over safari area. Clean and comfortable, ideal for family of four. Nothing to dislike given the nature of the accommodation - beware families booking via booking.com are unable to pre-book some amenities (e.g., pool) and booking on site also complicated.

Location of the hotel is excellent in relation to the park facilities. I think for the price of the room , little extras such as a few biscuits or de caf tea bags for example would make a difference. The pillows were quite firm but that is purely personal.

- Bianca (7/5): Leuk thema hotel - Fijn hotel net buiten Londen. Voor ons was dit een overnachting op doorreis naar Londen. Erg goed ontbijt! Restaurant met uitkijk op de 'savanne' met dieren is wel erg leuk! Prijs / kwaliteitverhouding van het eten is ver te zoeken. Eten is flink prijzig en je krijgt erg weinig en kwaliteit is oke. Dat is jammer want in omgeving is niet veel keuze.

- Twan (9/5): - De hotelkamers waren vrij groot en schoon, qua dineropties waren er voldoende betaalbare en goede opties, ontbijt was, zeker voor Engelse begrippen, dik in orde en het hotel beschikte over een ruime parkeerplaats en aparte ingang voor het park. Wellicht dat de prijs wat aan de hogere kant is, maar dat is wel te verwachten voor een on-site hotel bij een themepark.
- Eddy Marchand (8/5): Fijn verblijf met kinderen - Het hotel ligt dicht bij het attractiepark. De kamer was zeer groot. Elke dag werden de handdoeken gewisseld. Koffie en thee faciliteiten in de kamer. Personeel was behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Alles was zeer proper. Het zwembad van het hotel is zeer klein omdat delen zijn afgesloten zoals het grote kinderbad en ook een deel van het grote zwembad omdat zwemlessen plaats vonden. Het was zeer moeilijk om een plaatsje te reserveren. Het ontbijt was goed maar enkel Engels ontbijt, elke dag hetzelfde.

Unfortunately ther - Hotel decor was amazing, lovely pool, and rooms The food was bad. Breakfast very basic and overcooked . Difficult to book grill restaurant. Food at temple restaurant was also not worth of £30 per person. Everything was basic and overcooked .

- Stephen (7/5): Convenient for visiting the World of Adventure, but otherwise don't go with high expectations. - The staff were generally friendly and helpful. There were a few minor problems with our room but the staff at reception ensured they were sorted out. The menu in the restaurant is the answer to the question 'What is causing Britain's obesity problem?' The rooms are tired and worn. There was no security box in the room, as stated in the room facilities and the size of the shower room was hardly 'luxury' which is how it was described. The room window had a jungle sticker over the lower two thirds so it was difficult to look out, making the room claustrophobic, but if you opened the window you got a good view of the bin park. To get the full 'bin experience' there was always someone out there to move them around at 6:30am. In addition there were speakers playing Jumanji type music from 8am until 9pm every day...even though the park closed at 5pm..which could be heard in our room. The 'games room' is basically an arcade room, designed to take more money from you.

- TheLeighBarkers (2/5): "Premier" it is not - Room 12 was completely substandard; the room smelled mouldy, the carpets hadn't been vacuumed properly, the curtains had broken hooks causing them to sag and let in light and the bath did not drain when having a shower so you were stood in dirty water. The whole room hygiene was below basic expectations. Food in the Brewers Fayre was average at best, the breakfast looked like it had been sitting on a hot plate for a week. The only consolation was the WIFI was good, albeit paid for - I would not stay there again, for free !.

- mclaughlan (8/5): Great memories for our family of 4 - stay, well worth the drive down for a night before heading into Chessington World of Adventures. The hotel made it easy to relax and get into it before the park the next day. The swimming pool was a nice touch, definitely worth booking in advance. Breakfast was spot on in the morning, and they were brilliant accommodating my daughter’s allergies which made a big difference. Would happily do it again. Will book two nights next time so not so rushed to do everything 😅

I mainly stay here because it has a gym, nothinmg fancy but provides what I need to stay on top of my training and I might add the main reason why I booked! On arrival I was told that the gym was closed would have been better shared with me ahead of arriving rather than finding out on arrival as I could have made ulturnative arrangements!

In the bathroom floor was stained! And WiFi kept dropping off and couldn’t really use my own mobile data at times! But that won’t stop us from coming back, cause the place is amazing and we really enjoyed!
- Catherine (8/5): - Size of room. Location, being able to go to the zoo and easily get to our dance competition location. Bunk beds. Beds were uncomfy Needed updating and injection of care and attention. Sadly we had to go and get staff to disperse a large group of people who decided to congregate in the sitting area located at the end of our corridor right next to our room. These spaces need a curfew and staff monitoring them as I am sure we wouldn't have been the only ones disturbed.

The park was on reduced hours too, so the hotel was over packed and queues to get in were insane. Staff were helpful but there was not enough of them around and not enough places for the amount guests to go given that half the park was closed

- K4369JGpeterh (6/5): Tired and not good for evening meals and drinks. - A tired hotel. Room clean, linen fresh, bathroom ok. Road and room noise very apparent. Room was cold due to window being left open during the day for ventilation. Reception warmest area of building. Adjacent eatery ok for breakfast but some availability issues. Bar (poorly stocked) closed at 21:30! Food stopped serving at 21:00. Not user friendly for later arrivals.

- David (6/5): A disappointing trip for the money. - Parking is great as is the location for the theme park. Breakfast is hectic and of poor quality. The room was far too hot even with the heating on it's lowest setting. Most of the big rides in the park were closed so we spent more time queuing than enjoying the park.

- Jade (10/5): Great for families with children, really easy place to stay. - It was super child friendly, my kids joined in with the entertainment, they loved watching the giraffes while having breakfast. It was so welcoming, warm and friendly. Nothing!

- Olga (7/5): A nice one-time experience, not encourages for coming back - The location was perfect, and very exciting - especially for the kids. We could spot some animals walking at the zoo park straight from the windows of our room! Children also loved the separate 'tent room' for themselves. The breakfasts selection was the same every day, but nice. The swimming pool was very nice. Even when some parts were closed. My children were not joining the hotel evening entertainment program, but it was a good bonus for the families with smaller kids. The swimming pool was not easy to get into - it was fully booked, so we had to regularly check the slots, if they would get vacant for the 3 of us. The lady in the swimming pool on the second day didn't want to bring us the 'noodles', while they were available for the kids on the first day of our stay. Also there were no radiators or anything at the hotel room to get the swimsuits and the towels dry. There were not enough hooks at the bathroom at all. Unfortunately our sewage was blocked when we first used it, and there was no chance to get it fixed: we were texting the hotel service, calling the hotel line, coming to the reception - no result. Until we personally and ocassionally met the man with the tools at the corridor and asked him to check our bathroom sink - so he got it unblocked! Just before the check-in everyone got the message about the online check-in and that the keys would be given at the electronic concierge, but it looked like nobody was able to use that concierge - so all the guests were crowding at the reception desk, where there was only one member of staff, check-in all the people.
