- Cory (3/5): All rooms at near by hotels were full and this was the only place we could find. So did it provide a place to sleep for - The location was the only positive about the hotel. Room was dirty. Sheets were stained. Multiple outlets had no power. Bathroom was very dirty, no one in our party chose to shower because of it.

- Cristina Araceli (3/5): - The only good thing about this place is the location Beds where awful, we found a dirty towel, the room smell like weed and the worst was the front guy
- Pierre (10/5): Recommend - The room shower was awesome. Updated. Clean everything. Parking sucked.
- Sharmain (8/5): Great location and value, clean rooms, we would stay there again - Location and value were awesome. We were very happy with everything at the Legend.
- Benito (10/5): -
- Andre (1/5): - The worst and rude staff that I’ve seen. The front desk people are rude and unhelpful. I will never come back
- Jacob (5/5): -
- Bradley (1/5): Never go back - Nothing. Dealt with roaches and construction on roof at 8am Dealt with roaches all night and construction on roof at 8am
- Ignacio (6/5): It was rough - Close to the venue No parking onsite, had to park on the street. The hot water don’t work, the customers above us were loud till 4 am
- Robin (1/5): - We ended up on the street at 2 am !!! We were too late to check in before 12am, so I called reception around 11 p.m. to ask if it was okay to arrive much later. The man on the phone assured me that it was no problem and that we could arrive at any time we wanted as long as we checked out at the same time. Except that when we arrived (around 2 a.m.), they no longer had our reservation and asked us to pay seven times the price we had paid on Booking...
Lack of communication and professionalism, very disappointing.

- Margie (2/5): - We checked in, dropped off our belongings and headed out. When we got back a couple hours later, we went back to our room and there was a roach crawling across the floor. In a panic, we gathered our belongings and put them in the car, as we did not want to take any bugs back home with us. I then went to the office and requested a refund and to check out, as I was not going to stay where there were roaches. Instead, I was told I could not get a refund and that they would move me to a different room. I returned my key and left anyway. While my biggest complaint was the roach, the room itself was not in the best of shape and could have been more clean. I stayed at this same place 2 years prior and it was fine so I was expecting the same experience. Unfortunately, it was not. I was able to get 1/2 of my room refunded from Expedia but am still out over $250 and not very happy. I would NOT recommend this place.

- Ayesha (4/5): A 2 night stay turned into 1 - We actually decided to leave after 1 night (having booked for 2). The hotel is noisy and the rooms could do with freshening up....if youre after a cheap getaway for a night, its ok. Although i would say its more of a motel than a hotel....one plus point is the murals in the car park, a very talented artist!
- Anthony (6/5): - Hotel floors looked dirty, as if the haven’t been cleaned in a while. Door insulation was pretty bad light was shining in the room from the door as well as 2 cockroaches had came into the room because of it
- Adrian (4/5): - It's decent, not bad not great.
Works if you're on a budget and don't have high expectations.
However, one of the front desk employees was rude and unprofessional.
I asked for a receipt at checkout and from the start of conversation the man dragged his feet.
He did not provide an itemized receipt, because from what I had to figure out myself, my payment was to Expedia directly. But the guy could never explain why, and instead he repeated over an over again, if I'm lying ask your bank. (among other unprofessional comments)
He spoke in broken english with a heavy accent, which I normaly don't mind. But the man had the nerve to say something like, do you not understand english? All this with a heavy pakistani/indian/ect accent or whatever his background is.
Something that could've been easily and quickly been explained turned into an unnecessary and aggresive back and forth.
Left with a bad impression of the place because of that man.
- Mario (10/5): - Good place
- Geoff (2/5): No after hours help of any kind. Good luck - You’re on your own here. I needed a plunger, you know the emergency. I was told to use the imaginary plunger in my room. I explained the situation, as I wasn’t finished with what I started. I was told “sorry, I can’t leave my position”. Needless to say, it did not end well for the unfortunate maids. I will add, after 30 minutes, a tiny, very well used looking plunger did finally arrive, but by then it was too late. My work was done. I checked out. Will not be back here ever again.
- Chris (10/5): - Location - good value
- Z (6/5): - alright
- Deanna (2/5): - The Indian man was very rude and in a bad mood. You can only interact with him through a hole in the glass; you can’t walk in the office. The motel is unkempt and unclean, and there are flies in the room.
- Alyssa (2/5): - Theres no parking. It was noisy all night. The upstairs neighbors were loud and it sounded as if they were going to come crashing through the ceiling. The shower was literally HOT or COLD... not warm. The AC unit in the room sounded like itbwas going to explode and was making rhis awful screeching noise. Dont waste your money on this hell hole.
- Francisco (9/5): -
- Damon (2/5): Dirty roach motel - The towels had a bunch of hair on it when I checked in and there was a roach half the size of my hand in the tub when I woke up to shower so I didn’t shower & I left this nasty place
- William (10/5): - Affordable, quiet and safe.
- Kay (2/5): - This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. And for such a price, absolutely not worth it. The price of a night stay in this sub-par hotel got me a mind-blowing experience in a 5-star hotel on the Las Vegas strip a day before. The room was so dirty. From the bathroom to the chairs in the room, everything was that bad. I barely stayed in the room for more than 5 hours. If proximity to Hollywood is what you're looking for, then you'd be better off staying somewhere nicer but further.
- Blanca (8/5): -
- raph4u (7/5): - Parking. Central Le mec a la reception est un peu creapy
- Henry (8/5): - I was disappointed with the unexpected fees. They charged for parking and added an extra $15 per person, even though I booked a room with double beds. There was also a $200 upfront deposit—not a huge issue, but definitely unexpected.
The staff was okay, though not particularly friendly or social. Also, the lobby was locked, so all interactions had to be done through a window, which felt a bit impersonal.
On the positive side, the room itself was nice and the beds were very comfortable. However, one serious concern: the bathtub was extremely slippery. My 5-year-old slipped while taking a shower and hit his head and elbow on the rim of the tub. That was really upsetting and could have been prevented with better safety measures.
- Jesus (10/5): - There is a $10 dollar fee for parking in the property that I was not aware of
- Saunders (4/5): - Bathroom
- E Giancarlo (8/5): - The staff was very nice. The house keepers were exceptionally warm, friendly and very helpful!
- Meriç (2/5): -
- Manuel (8/5): - No complaints during my stay
- Alexs (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (6/5): Pleasant - It's decent..some of the front desk reception can be ride & moody..
- Luz (6/5): - It was ok felt a bit shady but slept ok.
- Kongkeo (6/5): - Dirty towels comfortable bed fridge makes noise
- Richard (1/5): Horrifying - Location There was a man master bating on the bunk bed broke me- there were springs poking into my back from an old mattress bed. What’s worst is you can’t get anyone on the phone and booking dot com isn’t helping me find another room. I missed work today and I’m sure there’s thousands just like me getting ripped off.
- Joey (6/5): Decent Stay at Decent Price - Location is good. You can walk to the Metro. I stayed Saturday and Sunday night. I have no noise complaints. There is a fridge & microwave. A store across the street. They charge 25 cents for ice. I think for the price I got what I paid for.
- Jocelyn (2/5): - Manager was super rude! Room had an odor and holes in the bathroom wall. Won’t ever be staying here again
- Cindy (6/5): - No parking if you arrive later. You have to park in the street. Staff was rude and no cards without chip accepted. Put a hold for double the $200. I have 2 holds of $200 each
- kerrie (6/5): - The room was nice however a few things that were a bit annoying! Outlets! No where near enough outlets to plug in devices. Toilet doesn’t work all the time. The tank will not fill up so you have to add water to the tank to flush it. There was no comforter on the bed. 2 sheets and that was it! Parking is a complete nightmare! They over sold the parking permits and people were double parked! Such a hassle! Location was awesome so close to the areas we wanted to see. Room was somewhat clean lots of stains on the bathroom grout so made it appear as it wasn’t properly cleaned!
- Henry (1/5): Bad - Location Customer service horrible, towels were dirty
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- rosemD5965LP (2/5): Racist & Threatening Front Desk - RACIST, threatening front desk!
When we were going to check in, he demanded $200 in cash only, despite me already pre-paying a nonrefundable room (which I received a booking confirmation email for that everything was paid)
Nowhere in the policy does it say the security deposit can only be in cash... I think that's very odd.
When I came ready to pay the security deposit on my credit card, he took one look at my friend's international ID and, after seeing his nationality, said that he will not give us a room.
When we asked for a refund for the fully pre-paid, confirmed room, he refused to process a refund. Now, we have to find new accommodation despite his refusal!
Even worse, he then threatened to call ICE to get us deported! Who even does that?
I cannot believe what an awful, terrible experience my friends and I had here.
Not only did he try to demand cash from us, but denying us service based solely on nationality & threatening to call immigration, and refusing to process the refund, this was the worst hotel experience of my life.
- Radoslav (2/5): - The 3 stars are cause was so cheap. Somehow clean and very close to everything but old like a real legend. Has parking which is good for the area and they charge only 10$. Make sure you have 200$ for security deposit which was not mentioned on Orbitz. Would go again when in Hollywood for 100$ cant beat that.
- Mirza (1/5): Terrible. - Nothing No parking. Rude staff. Terrible area. Sketchy.
- Guajardo (4/5): Disappointing -
- Daniel (10/5): - Very nice place people that work. There are very nice as well. Love the housekeeping, ladies. They are very polite and always willing to help. Say the thing about the front desk guy. I’ll be going back soon.
- Alan (6/5): Not a good Experience - I have stayed numerous times before. This was my last time here ever. One of the owners or manager has a major attitude and no customer service whatsoever.
My room had a leaking sink and shower was not running hot water.
- Perry (5/5): Passable - They charged for parking but there was no mention of that on the booking.com site.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not worth! - They gave us a room without fridge. Frank desk guy is so rude. He gave us dirty room and said we can’t change the room as it’s Friday and available rooms will be sold out later. They charged parking fees too.
- Mary (8/5): - It was very affordable and I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness. I would definitely visit again.
- Jessica (5/5): Near Hollywood Blvd and Universal Studios, place to sleep, but not for comfort. - Near by universal studios The area had very noisy people who were up very late, yelling and slamming doors. The walls were very thin. The parking is very limited and tight.
- Kaitlyn (4/5): - Don’t stay here
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The front-desk person was not welcoming, there were people on the property smoking and loitering by the cars - I did not feel safe in broad day light, so we left and didn't stay the night.
- michael (2/5): Worse stay - No parking when I arrive the guy said I can park out side. The tow truck took my van had to pay 600 to get it out. Horrible experience
- Matthew (8/5): Decent motel, decent location - To be clear, this is a motel, not a hotel. I was on the first floor and the noise from car engines in the parking lot was distracting at night and woke me up in the morning.
Good location in Hollywood, but parking was extremely limited and cost an extra $10.
The room was clean and modern, though the bathroom mirror was cracked and its light was not working. Bed linens were thin and it got cold in the morning. I didn't try the split heating unit.
Overall, it was a bit cheaper than Motel 6, and comparable quality. Given that it's at a central location near the Walk of Fame, I wouldn't rule out booking it again if I'm in the area and need a quick cheap place to crash.
- Souking Joann (6/5): - Being an outdoor hotel. It was quite a noisy neighborhood. Convenient location. Not much of service as the man is behind the window. There’s no common area
- Judith (2/5): - Horrible service, Indian guy receptionist RUDE, overcharge $45.
- Ellina (4/5): - Booked a different hotel for the wrong day and found this as they were the only thing under $300 for the night. Rude front desk, no parking, paper thin walls, no elevator, yellow tub mat, the towels left nothing but lint. Never again lol
- Steve (7/5): Good -
- david (4/5): - Room was dirty. Loud toilet running all the time and loud fridge had to be unplugged.
- Gilbert (10/5): - Cool
- Amy (6/5): - No blanket! Essentially 2 sheets and a noisy broken heater and it got down into the 40s the night I was there. Needless to say I was freezing! No refund. No discount. C’est la vie.
- Peter Joseph (8/5): - The motel was fine for a visit to the Hollywood area in L.A. Very bare bones but clean and comfortable. You have to check in using a window from the outside as the motel office is closed to visitors for security reasons. The room only has a microwave and fridge with no coffee and no safe to store valuables in. The room was just fine otherwise and surprisingly quiet considering it is on a very busy road. I would stay here again.
- kellee (2/5): - It worth the cheap rate
- Jose (8/5): - There is very limited parking and not enough for tenants. I had to search for an hour for parking in the streets.
- nicholas (2/5): - Not enough parking at hotel and surrounding areas. Had to park a block away for $30 and not a safe neighborhood/area to leave your car. We were stressing all night about it. Dirty room, thin bedding and AC broken. Staff generally unfriendly. Terrible experience.
- Mario (2/5): - The sink was clogged. The IC doesn't work.
- Yves (8/5): God location for one day but no more - Fantastic place but poor cleanliness ( please give your cleaning agents correct vacuum cleaners who goes in corners !), suspicious stains on the work table, sticky floor. Customer contact is reduced to a minimum : you are not allowed to enter the office, you stay outside to register and speak through a dirty small plastic window without hearing the answer...
- Luisa (2/5): - I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The management was incredibly rude and unprofessional, which made the entire experience uncomfortable. When I raised concerns, they were dismissive and unhelpful. On top of that, the hotel was extremely loud—day and night—making it nearly impossible to get any rest. Walls are thin, and it felt like there was no effort made to control noise levels or maintain a peaceful atmosphere. I do not recommend this place if you’re looking for relaxation or respectful customer service. Not sure why this hotel still running by this management .
- Nicholas (2/5): Dirty - Terrible
- Lyuba (7/5): Good -
- Marina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jabari (8/5): - Always reliable, very Central location.
- Luis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephanie (6/5): - Staff member was rude at check in and treated us like our credit card was not real.
- Chad (10/5): - VERY COMFORTABLE
- Clyde (1/5): A total waste of time - I never stayed there. I drove 65 miles and once I arrived the desk attendant told me they had cancelled my reservation and cancelled payment. The reason he gave was the room was listed to low online. So I paid $21 and the amount he attempted to charge me was $120. I declined and left to sleep in my car that night. A phone call would have helped.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Two grumpy, unpleasant Indian staff (esp. manager, Rafiq) who acted as if the room was free. Nice contemp. decor but the motel is falling apart. Dirty bathtub, dirty lampshades, dirty floor, thin walls (I could
- Nicole (8/5): - For the price it was a good place to stay. Walking distance from Hollywood Blvd. Super friendly staff and convenient parking. The mattress was not the most comfortable but the room had cable and a large vanity mirror.
