• kim (8/5): 샤워장 욕조 고정 요구 - 휴가차 오랫만에 동해시를 찾았다. 예 70년대에 영주지방 철도청 철도공무원 시절 북평역으로 출장와서 숙박없이 다녀 갔던 기억을 살려 이곳 저곳 다녀 보았다. 피카소호텔리 동해시청 인근 번화가에 있어 주변에 음식가가 있어 좋았다. 시설은 깨끗했으나 룸 거울 앞 테이블다리 하나가 빠져 있어 불안 했다. 그리고 샤워장의 욕조가 불안하여 욕조안에서 변기쪽으로 앉아서 샤워하다 변기쪽으로 욕조와 같이 쓰러져서 허리 부분을 변기에 부딪혀 타박상이 심했으나 파스를 붙였으나 아직까지 걷는데 불편하다. 퇴실하면서 얘기할려니 카운터에 안내자가 없어 그냥 왔는데 지금도 후회된다. 치료를 했어야 하는데 또다시 나와 같이 사고가 발생하지 않도록 욕조를 고정 했으면 한다.

• Caitlyn (8/5): - I would recommend Picasso Hotel for any traveler that is looking for a budget accommodation (or booking last minute trip on a holiday weekend like us and had very limited mid-priced hotel options). While most of the staff did not speak English, I found the staff very friendly and willing to help. One of the men working (who spoke a little English) helped our group one morning when our rental car wouldn't start. He called the rental agency for us and had someone to the hotel within 10 minutes to jump start our battery. We were very thankful for his help and the rental company's quick service so we were able to enjoy our beach day with little delay. In addition to the service of the staff, I found the rooms to be very clean and spacious. My room also had a mini fridge with free bottles of water and fast in-room wifi. The only complaint that I have about the hotel was the comfort of the bed. It was a very firm, Asian style mattress. I personally prefer Western mattresses that are medium firm to soft. This is only my preference though - if you are comfortable with very firm mattresses, this should not be a problem.

• Verified traveler (6/5): 가든vip 루프탑.. 이용후기 - 급하게 하루 전날 잡은숙수였지만 기대했습니다.도착후 처음에 봤을땐 외관이랑 내부는 깔끔해보였는데..막상 방에 인터폰은 아예 되지않았고 연락할일이생기면 핸드폰으느 대표번호로 전화하라고 하시더라구요..화장실은 문도 잠기지 않았으며..침대는 아래 기둥이 벌어지고 부러질듯 기울어서 불안..아슬했습니다.(매트리스는 편안햇음) 방에 있는 시계는 약이 죽어서 시간도 멈추어있고 테이블은 더러워서 물티슈로 닦아서 식사했습니다. 내부에는 욕조가 없었고 외부욕조는 호수에 물이 새고 크게 관리가 되지않아보였습니다..그리고 더 높은 건물들이 있어서 외부욕조는 프라이버시 보장이 안되서 있어도 그림의 떡같았어요 .. 수영복 챙겨가는것말고는 가운도 없어서..벗고 나갈수가 없음ㅋㅋ밤에 잘때는 바람이 세게 불어서 엄청 시끄러웠어요(옥탑..) 고급스런말이 루프탑이지..그냥 옥상 놀리기아까워서 급하게 하나 만든것 같은느낌...엘리베이터도 8층에서 내려서 계단으로 한층 짐들고 오르락 내리락 해야했구요..조식도 먹고 아래층으로 내려다놔야했어요.춥지안게 잔것말고는..조금 많이 실망했습니다. 더 신경써서 객실 관리해주시면 좋겠어요 직원분들은 친절하셨습니다..쩝

• NOMAAN (8/5): Decent - Decent stay. They have LG dry cleaning/odor removal/drying machines in the rooms. These were useful and rejuvenated all of our clothing. We were unhappy that there were several body hairs on the bedsheets. The sheets were clean and smelled fresh, so I presume the hair may have come from overloaded washing mashines not being able to outflow all debris. Breakfast was okay, but not worth getting up for (unless you're on a tight budget). Bathtub was nice, and the stay was decent overall. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and didn't mind that we checked out late. There's small room for improvement, but a worthwhile stay.

• Verified traveler (4/5): 다시는 안갈겁니다.. - 2인 조식이 가능하지만 혼자 출장이라 낭비하기 싫어 양식으로 요청. 아침에 문 부술듯이 두드리고 한식으로 접수됫다며 그냥 먹으라는 식. 안받음. 밤에 창문을 다 닫아도 밖에서 떠드는 소리 적나라하게 들림. 시끄러움. 체크아웃도 안했는데 편의점 갔다온 사이 연박인줄 알았다며 멋대로 방에 들어와 창문 열어두고 나감. 이게 제일 이해 안됨 ㅡㅡ. 출장 다니면서 처음으로 후기 쓰네요. 앞으론 안갑니다.

• Verified traveler (8/5): 솔직이용후기 - 전체적인 시설과 친절도는 좋았습니다. 위치: 동해시내 번화가 근처에 위치해 있어, 주변 변의시설에 대한 접근성은 좋습니다. 주변에 있는 많은 호텔/모텔들로 저녁시간에 유동 인원이 많은 편이었고, 덕분에 조용하지는 않았습니다. 시설: 호텔 시설은 관리도 잘 되고 있었고, 청결도 괜찮았습니다... 다만, 호텔성격이라 단점이라고 하긴 뭐하겠지만, 욕실/화장실이 별도 문으로 공간 분리된것이 아닌, 개방형 구조라... 가족들과 함께 숙박하는데, 다소 당혹스럽기도 했고, 불편하기도 했습니다. 참고하시길. 조식: 양식만 가능했고, 객실로 전달해 주시는 점은 좋았습니다만, 아침마다 전달해 주시는 시간에 일어나서 받아야 한다는게 좀... 투숙객이 원하는 시간은 아닙니다. 오해 없으시길. 양식의 구성은 그냥 소소 했습니다. 지리적 특성이긴 하겠지만, 성수기와 비성수기의 가격차이가 상당한것 같았습니다.
• Verified traveler (8/5): 쓸데가 많으호텔 - 객실 크기는 크지 않았지만 침대는 편안했고 묙실에 꼼꼼하게 챙겨 놓은 물건들에 기분이 좋아졌어요. 방에 스타일러가 있더라구요. 이거 있는 호텔은 첨 본 듯. 조식이 훌륭하진 않았지만 방에서 아침 먹는 기분도 좋았어요. 걸어서 주위 돌아다니면 볼 수 있는 것도 많구요 큰 펀의점이 두 개나 있고 천곡동굴도 가까와요.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - 호텔 수준의 숙소는 아닙니다. 쾌적할 정도로 좋진 않지만 하루이틀 출장으로 묵기엔 무난한 곳입니다. 젤 낮은 grade 방을 선택한 건 아니었는데 생각 보다 욕실 청결상태가 좋지 않았어요. 샤워부스가 따로 없이 욕조 안에서 샤워를 해야 하는데 물도 안빠지고 뭔가가 욕조에 묻어 있기도 했고요. 전반적으로 만족하진 못했어요. 상중하 중 중정도의 숙박시설입니다.

• Brendon (6/5): - Good location in the hotel district of Donghae, walkable to many restaurants and cafes. The bed is quite hard and the bathroom is dated with no large bath towels. Noise from other showers and a little from outside is mildly annoying, but overall value/price met expectations.
• Samuel (10/5): Donghae stay - Good size, clean and comfortable room. Not walking distance to both intercity and Express bus terminal. There is a jacuzzi in the bathroom, even little too small.
• Verified traveler (6/5): booked 2 nights, stayed a night - We've arrived at late night and stayed the room which is at the end of the corridor. The seats and the room was clean, however it smells like cleaned with the chlorine bleach after someone smoked... (I had a feeling that we were actually staying a downgraded room at the floor..) You can ask a breakfast at the front desk when you checked in. They will get you a meal(imo-the chicken soup was more like the rice soup) next morning. And a club? nearby the place, sometimes it's too loud at late night.. :( we were supposed to stay 2 nights, checking out Monday.. but eventually we left after a night stay, too tired to stay longer. If you need a sleep and a meal, i'd say the cost performance was acceptable.
• Jennifer (8/5): - The room was great, very clean and modern, but despite the fact that I had booked the room for three people I still had to ask for an extra bed. Not an easy task given that the staff spoke no English. Also, according to the instructions in the room we were supposed to have breakfast delivered to our room, and yet nothing appeared. Still, as long as you don't need the staff to do anything for you, it's a great hotel. Conveniently located for buses to take you to various tourist spots and with lots of great places to eat nearby.
• Erex90 (6/5): Convenient hotel, uncomfortable beds. - Check in was easy, and the hotel had everything we needed. The location was good, but everything was a bit dirty. Our bed was very hard, and pillows uncomfortable. It's clear that smoking is allowed in all the rooms because you can smell it fairly strongly in the rooms and hallways. Our room was hot and stuffy as we couldn't find the air conditioner controller. We only stayed one night, and left early the next morning before breakfast.
• Meagan (10/5): Great trip! - Traditional Korean hotel, great service and very clean! Only note is there was no door to the bathroom area, but since we were traveling with just our small kids it wasn’t a big deal with the open concept. Definitely would stay again!
• Tharaka (10/5): A really good place for the price you pay - A great hotel for a decent price. Close to beaches and surrounded by convinent stores which appeared to be open 24x7. There are a lot of fast food restaurants and other restaurants serving local food around the hotel. We used the Donghae train station for travel. A taxi to and from the station to the hotel would cost around 3800krw (3-4USD). Staff is freindly and they are at the front desk 24×7. Language won't be an issue for communication. They serve light breakfast with a choice of two korean type meals around 7.30 to 8.00am. You can ask them to bring it to your room if uou want. There is an espresso machine at lobby which makes decent coffee with fresh beans. Positive 1. Service 2. Cleanliness 3. Location Negative 1. No closets 2. PC was old and running XP 3. Some guests still smoked in the rooms making Corridors smell like smoke
• Eric (8/5): Convenient hotel, centrally located - Very quick check in. Breakfast was included and delivered to the room for around 7:30am (no choice in timing). The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The mattress was quite firm, but okay for a night or two. There is a free computer with printing available in the lobby as well.
• Y9624EWjohnh (10/5): convenient hotel, nice staff - This is located along the "motel strip" of downtown Donghae with two mini marts nearby to the hotel. Breakfast is provided, brought to your room, it's alright but nothing fancy. The staff was very helpful but only spoke in Korean. The room was clean and pretty well maintained, though some wear and tear has taken place.
• Bucheon95 (10/5): perfectly fine hotel in the downtown area of Donghae City - I rented the rooftop bungalow and I have to say that the hotel was perfectly fine. The amenities were all clean, including the outdoor picnic tables. The computer inside the room was old (running on Windows XP) but functional, and the wifi signal was strong. The hotel offers a simple breakfast, delivered to your room from 7:30 to 8, it was a kind of mix of Korean and 'western' with a rice porridge, cherry tomatoes and a sweet bread. Nothing fancy, but filling. The staff was helpful and nice, but not English speaking, something to bear in mind. We did have a view of the ocean from the roof, but I cannot say if any of the regular rooms have any such view.
• MommaSan (8/5): Centrally located - Heard this hotel was one of the nicer ones in the area. Main complaint is that the beds were hard and extremely uncomfortable. Other than that, hotel was clean and staff helpful.
• Alice (8/5): Value for money - The room was clean and comfortable, with big bottles of skin care for guest use. Wifi in room was ok in the afternoon but became unstable past midnight. Breakfast was room service and if you don't open the door when it is delivered, it will be returned to kitchen (which was what happened to us). Staff spoke very little English so we had some difficulty asking for our breakfast. There is a coffee machine in the lobby serving freshly brewed coffee, a pleasant surprise indeed! Considering the price we paid for the room, I'd say it is value for money.
• Minu (6/5): Good location and good location.... Nothing else. - The location is fantastic close to restaurants and convenience stores etc. but that's it! The service from the front desk is sadly poor and most unhelpful, I should say, they are not willing to do anything that you ask. The room....... ... You will be happy if you are a heavy smoker! No such as non-smoking rooms available. Cleanness??? Just grab a Dettol spray and antiseptic wet tissue and clean up the room yourself. And remember, Do NOT order breakfast it's absolutely not worth to put all the effort to wake up for that!
