- Chloe (4/5): - We got there on the first day and advised that we couldn't use the pool as they were throwing a pool party. They said the pool would be available the next day. It was not available until 3pm the next day and even then the place had not been cleaned up. It's a no smoking building but the workers were smoking while cleaning up. The shower flooded part of the bathroom each time we had a shower. The room at first sight looked clean but upon further inspection was quite dirty especially in the corners. It's central to the tourist sights which is a good thing. It's one of those places where you would only stay a day max two before you move on

- Monika (8/5): Pleasant stay. Good value for money - The hotel has a nice rooftop pool with a bar. It is located in a quiet part of Melaka but there are many place to eat nearby and a shopping centre. You can easily walk to the historical centre and the river (around 15 minutes)

- Jian Kai (6/5): Good location but terrible bedsheet and pillow - Had to keep playing with the aircon settings to get the temperature. Water pressure in the bathroom is good. The only setback is the bedsheet and blanket are dirty and with hairs. The pillow case is also dirty. Location wise is near to Hatten Hotel and nearby there are many famous restaurants. Jonker street is 20mins walk though.
- MUNIARAJ (2/5): - Worst experience,My past travel experience this hotel staying is un happy experience. For example: i was asking BREAD, Rotti canai (This is Malaysian Traditional Recipe),No Sir during breakfast, So immediately we went to Little India for mornig Break fast.
- Theng (4/5): - Staff not friendly . Check in time is 3pm n check out must be before 12 noon (already reminded you before check in ) I find is unreasonable . This is my first encounter for hotel booking . Look like this kind of service turn down customer like do not come again next time .,First time and last time . Cannot consider to come back even though the room is comfortable but lucky room is ok except very stingy , tissue paper n toilet paper left over from previous customer . We stay two nights and second day we ask for tissue paper . Housekeeper only give us some only . I find is not hygiene just to pass like that instead of a box . Anyway it will be my last booking and will not come back ..

- CHUNG PONG (10/5): Awesome Experience - We enjoy every bit of our stay at this beautiful hotel and will plan to stay here again. Parking is easy and free at their huge private carpark. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The whole building is pretty and clean. All in-room amenities work and the beds are comfortable to sleep in. Above all, all of these come in a very competitive price setting while being so close and convenient to a lot of places of interest.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Average hotel, some room for improvement - - Check-in with the safe box broken, but does not affect me as I don't use hotel safe box after bad incident happened in Bangkok. - Card sensor lock malfunction 3 times during my 4 nights stay, reset my card twice and change of batteries once to get it going. - WIFI down for 4 times with 30-60 mins each time. - Receptionist doesn't display any sign of welcome, no smile or greeting. - Location is good, 8 mins walk to Mahkota Parade shopping mall (please note that the Giant Hypermart is closing soon). - Hotel breakfast though not much variety, its decent and nice, definitely a plus point. - Large room with King size bed, great! Overall, is good, for the breakfast, room size and location.

- Sandra (2/5): Sad stay. - Hotel was below our expectation. There were coffee stains in the bathroom counter and the dressing table. Floor was unswept with dirt and hair all over the floor. We left our feedback with the man who checked us out at the hotel. He said he will log the complaint but we did not hear back from the manager. Disappointed!

- Nasir (4/5): - The access card for door room is not working and had to use manual key throughout the stay. The breakfast is lousy with limited choice. The room is not sound proof that the traffic noise is quite evident especially after midnight.
- CK (6/5): Good location, but rundown - I've stayed in this hotel for many times, but it seems that the hotel needs to refurbished. My room is facing the city street, a bad choice. Very noisy as sound proof is bad. The only good thing is location.

I requested for change to higher floor but they were fully booked for that weekend hence they changed my room now facing the new block reception on first floor still... I may occasionally hear the car but I definitely know what time my neighbours use the toilet.... the sound proofing of the room is atrocious!! Totally no proofing at all ...! However, the breakfast was quite alright... the selection is doable ...!!
- Curtis (2/5): - Booked this hotel for 2 nights just to try it cause it was in a good location. We booked the executive suite cause I have my family with me, But was so disappointed after checking in. The hallways and the room has a weird smell, really bad. The room itself is small, bed/bathroom was dirty. A lot of stains and has bad smell also. Called the housekeeping to change our sheets but still the same, has stains in it. Pillows are so small and bed is uncomfortable. Tried to lay down for a nap but keep waking up cause bed was so itchy! The next thing I know I got bites around my legs and arms! Decided to checked-out the same day we checked-in and move to a different hotel. Horrible hotel/experienced. Even told the Manager and hotel staff that their bed have bedbugs but deny it. They tried to move us in a different room but I said No cause I’m pretty sure it will be the same problem. Will never go back to this hotel. Ever.

Toilet lights not functioning, we went and commented at the reception, actions were taken very fast, maintenance callee before they went into the room and fix the light bulb. Very efficient. Overall room was spacious and comfortable. Other than the cleanliness, everything was good.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Good location, great price, but some issues - The hotel had a good rate online, and some of the counter staff (Sundar) were very helpful. Others were friendly but ultimately not too knowledgable. The room had a bad aircon noise, and it registered almost 85db! This persisted throughout the night. Those with elderly should be aware that there is a series of stairs linking the lobby to the North Wing, you have to haul your bags over the linkway stairs. The guards were also very friendly and helpful.
- RT (8/5): Value for money - Got the premium room and it is extremely spacious. Room is comfortable, well design and clean. Overall for the amount I paid it is way more than I expect. Sky pool / bar is too noisy of my taste but I cannot hear the loud music from my room so it is fine.

- Hau (4/5): Rude Staff - The hotel overall is acceptable with the rate I paid.The human factor is disturbing.I misplaced my breakfast vouchers and upon entering the coffee house I told the waitress and mentioned my room number for her to record and reconfirm with whoever is in charge.She told the manager and that bespectacled guy said bluntly ‘no voucher cannot’. I proceed to the front office and ask for vouchers to be reissued.The girl at the counter say no & telephoned the coffee house manager. I was told to pay. This is ridiculous. A simple solution and a bit of common sense would have solved basically a simple matter. It shows the staffs are not well trained and do not know how to deal with customers courteously. We walked out to take our breakfast at the nearby coffee shop.

- M (6/5): Nice hotel but poor maintenance - Nice hotel quiet with walking distance to many of the food area but the hotel maintenance is bad. The bed has stains and I doubt the staff change the bedsheets and duvet after the previous client check out. Also the sink was choke.

- Jacqueline (8/5): Comfortable but need some improvement - Room was comfortable, a little compact for what they term as Executive King. Bathroom was ok but could do better with ensuring that the sink is in workable condition. Leaving it open without a stopper is dangerous as small items like rings or jewellery can fall in the pipe. Overall it is clean and comfortable. Breakfast was passable but can't complain for the price we pay for a room. Perhaps if they are not skilled in serving western breakfast, they should refrain from offering it as part of the breakfast buffet as it can be disappointing for those who are used to good western fare. Best to stick to local food as most of the hotel guests during my stay were locals.

Terrible thing is everyone morning u need to go at Reception to collect coupons like beggars. I was feeling fkd up. They said its hotel Policy. Policy for what? I paid it in advance. Just pass it to me. Why u want me to trouble myself n go for collection everyday at Reception. Fkrs. They are free n have cheap labour. Our time is not free to go n see there faces for nothing

- ZH (6/5): Yearly Holiday in the same Hotel - We have been to this hotel yearly since 2015. We have found that the overall situation are declining. From the previous experiences, this time we purposely checked-in a bit later in the afternoon and unfortunately, our rooms are still not properly organised such as lack of amenities until the next day. The breakfast selection are also getting a bit less and we are unable to use the pool because of the preparation for the New Year celebration party. We also believe that the hotel management should inspect the rooms and replace some of used items. Nevertheless, it was a good stay, with the excellent view to all the fireworks around Melaka City during the New Year's celebration.

- Angie (6/5): Econ tree hotel - The hotel is waliking distance from the major shopping centre. It will be good if there is shuttle service to the Jonker street, with schedule timing . The breakfast was not as good as any 3 star hotel in Melaka esp Puri hotel - Overall cleanliness of the hotel is acceptable for a 3 star hotel. Will consider another hotel if I plan to visit Melaka

- Verified traveler (8/5): Reasonable hotel but need some minor improvement - Had some issue upon checking in but the back room staff managed to resolve it rather quickly. My earlier email to Ms Wei Wei about changing dates and early check in are being answered very promptly and professionally. However, out of the 3 rooms I booked, 2 of it had problems with the sink - water drained out very slowly and even lead to overflow. Our room air con suddenly switches off at 7am one morning. One other room air con is so cold it feels like it's 20 degree even tho they set it at 29 degree celcius. Although it claimed to be a 'smoked' free hotel, we can smell smoke along the corridor n the room. The breakfast buffet was reasonable for the price we pay. Location wise - a bit on the quiet side of town but good enough as it's near shopping Centres. A bit far away to walk to jonkers area but acceptable cos it's away from the crowd n noise! Overall, a reasonable hotel for the price we pay. If the management could look into the sink and air con problem n to provide some basic toiletries like shampoo and clean towels, it would be great! We stayed in Rooms 109, 110 & 112

Check in and check out staffs were not as courteous and welcoming as one would like them to be. Noisy at night. Comfortable king-sized bed although the pillows could have been better. Cleanliness was acceptable but it was very dirty under the beds. Location was good. Very close to Mahkota Parade and other attractions in the town.

- Yu Xian (6/5): - Mixed feelings about this place. Had a major shock when I first entered the room. No bedroom slippers were provided. That's okay - IF my bare feet hadn't found several clumps of hair and dustballs the moment I took off my shoes. Not sure when was the last time they actually vacuumed the floor in the room. Everything else in the room was kept sparkling clean, sheets were changed every 2 days, towels every day but the floor was simply left dirty until I checked out. Breakfast variety was very limited but they changed the menu every day. Despite the limited choices, the food and coffee were really good. The safe deposit in my room wasn't working. I was told it would be reported but until the day I checked out, there was no follow up on it. Couldn't use the safe at all so I ended up having to carry all my valuables with me everywhere I went. Overall, a relatively comfortable stay which was marred by the extremely dirty floor.
- H&M (6/5): Quite a pleasant stay - The Check-in/out was smooth and so are their friendly staff. The making up of rooms should be more thorough e.g. There were 3 paintings hang with stains. The room door is very heavy which will created a loud bang sound when closed - quite a disturbance.. Can be quite noisy from the neighboring bars with very loud music..
- Verified traveler (6/5): Decent hotel near Jonker street - Hotel parking is outside an open parking area. Toilet is clean but towels is not. Breakfast variety is ok. Staff is friendly. Gym and swimming pool are small if compared to most hotels in melacca.
- Zai (10/5): Short Year End Vacation - Very gd. Convenience and nearby to all area be it for shopping or eating. Hvg different type of breakfast menu serve for 3 days 2 nights stay was great at least not the same food. Staffs & housekeeper are friendly. Thou we did not manage to get the Family Suite but the Executive Suite also great, spacious and comfortable for a family of five like us with additional bed. Will be back for our future stay..

- A.T (6/5): Average budget hotel - Room was very small and not very clean. There were stains on the toilet bowl and hairs in the shower area. Bath towels were torn and tattered. Room is totally not soundproofed. Service at the rooftop bar is very inflexible - i brought my partner and wanted to order a beer as my partner only wanted to enjoy the ambience, but this wasn't allowed. The service staff insisted that everyone at the table has to order a drink. So we left... The singer at the bar wasn't good anyways...
- Alanis (2/5): Bad experience - Checked-in process was fast and smooth, supposed is senior FO staff who was handling it. On the 15th Nov morning, after my breakfast right before 10am, whole hotel blacked-out, I had to walked up to my room which is only located on 3rd floor, lucky me. Was expecting some announcement or any form of message with regards to the black out but no news no sound at all. Couldn't do anything in the room, waited for the resume which took almost 2 hours. After which, I have discovered a huge bed bug coming across to me on the bed. Reacted to the shocked, I quickly grabbed a tissue paper and killed it, wrapped it up. While checking-out, I showed the bug to FO receptionist, she then showed it to a senior whom I believed is the FOM - Roger. Another level of shocked, he walked to me and said 'Yes.....???'. I couldn't believe my ear, just replied that I wish to show them what I have found! 'So sorry about that, we will look into this.' and he walked away... Great! No one cares if I was being bitten, if I needed any cream or oilment or etc.. Will not be back again and will definitely not recommending this hotel to others. As a Malaccan, I felt ashamed having such hospitality when you call yourself a HOTEL, not bunk/hostel/inn.. And you are representing World Heritage City.. Goodbye.
- Cliff (8/5): Clean and Comfortable hotel - The location is good. Walk distance to the nearest mall and sight-seeing.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Carpet outside the toilet is wet - 1) It seems like no shampoo provided?? There is a dispenser inside the bathroom, but it didn't label what is inside. As we cannot find the small bottle of shampoo which we usually can find in hotel, my brother try to believe the dispenser is filling with shampoo. After washing the hair, clearly it is not as it make his hair very dry. 2) when we enter the room, the carpet just outside the bathroom is wet, it is a quite big area getting wet...it totally make us uncomfortable about it 3) the breakfast variety is very less...
- Verified traveler (6/5): A Short stay at Eco Tree Hotel - The location of the hotel is ok and with all the facility provided but here i would like to highlight , try to improved the breakfast. The breakfast is lack of variety and also the food quality.

It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Breakfast provided was excellent. Food was good and value for money. I was very pleased with my stay, and although short and sweet this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

- Joe (6/5): Decent, Good, Clean, Modern Hotel - Stayed for only 1 night. Can see this is a beautifully designed and modern hotel. Room facilities are clean and well provided for - no ants or cockroaches were spotted. Comfortable
- Siow (8/5): Cleaning and Comfortable - Good Location, Clean and Comfort. But Breakfast is poor with very shabby.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice, clean environment, spacious car park, security and staff are courteous, but there is no top-up of food at breakfast, so if you are late, then have to eat the left over. I had asked for half boiled eggs and the waiter said that it is all that left - only 4 eggs, other guests who were late did not have the opportunity to eat half boiled eggs!
- ZH (8/5): Second stay in 6 months - It was a second visit to this hotel for a short stay. The check-in was smooth but we have to wait for a while because the official check-in time is at 2pm. The room was nice and clean.
- CHEN (2/5): Bad , rude and blurred service - It's really bad service. When we got in room, we need to call and asked for bath towel, even the shampoo. When we booked that we already paid extra bed and breakfast. The concierge still asked us pay. reception people was really rude, they even answered anther customer without queuing. I won't be recommend and won't go again.

- Lady Diamond (6/5): just a stopover - It was unusual not be greeted when arriving to a hotel; possibly due to multitasking of the human resource or short cut or easy way of cutting cost! Nevertheless; it is a very important element that should not be left out for a comfort & hospitality business entity. The room was comfy enough with a translucent bathroom that kept the small kids peeking for their parents within. Sky bar & pool side area are not as picturisque in the leaflets. Otherwise, all is well.
