• Alison (9/5): Nearly perfect! - Great location and staff. Fantastic breakfast. Beautiful room and building. Amazing restaurant in the hotel. Hanging space over coffee making facilities was tricky. Not enough hooks in bathroom for towels or back of door for jackets. Waterfall shower was lovely but not if you want to keep your hair dry. Bedside lamps not good for reading and no obvious electrical sockets by the bed. All these are small things but important at this level of hotel.

Had to leave one day eearlier due to the place being a total disappointment on too many levels: 1. The place is under construction with workers making loud noises from 7am. 2. Room was not as described in the photos. Actually not at all. 3. Room temperature was below 18C. Was offered a heater in a 4* accomodation.

Exceso de diseño y de electrónica en las habitaciones, que no siempre las hace más cómodas. A las habitaciones del 4º piso no se puede llegar en ascensor y hay que cargar las maletas por un tramo de escaleras bastante estrecho.

• Lisa (10/5): Great hotel in Catania City Center - Our room was clean. The bed was very comfortable with crisp white sheets and a cover it over the blanket. The room was light and breezy, even though it was small. The ceilings were high, and the curtains were long and they were plenty of windows. I also like the fact that you can open the doors to the balcony to get fresh air in the room. The thing that that was the most most exceptional were the breakfast so much to choose from and very high-quality food. Lots of different coffees and you could have a specialty coffee just made for you. The staff were very friendly and attentive when you needed them. I would go back. If there were two chairs in the double room that would be nice.

• Eiman (9/5): Stunning hotel, perfect location, friendly staff - Valentina, Georgia and Raphael were very helpful and friendly. They gave us excellent recommendations for dining. They also upgraded our room to court facing which meant we had nice view and peaceful nights. The breakfast buffet was incredible with lots of choice and friend staff who even made me vegetarian pie which was very thoughtful of them. The room itself was spacious and clean. The location was perfect, we could walk to all major tourist attractions as well as to the train station and plenty of food options right outside the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again. The only negative thing is the bathroom is open plan. You have no privacy when taking a shower and if one person wakes up before the other person you can hear them brushing their teeth etc., So make sure you are sharing with someone you feel comfortable with, otherwise it’s definitely uncomfortable and although it’s a beautiful design, there is no functionality or thought into how people will actually use the space. Ideally all bathrooms should have doors and showers shouldn’t have clear glass. The hotel should consider adding some curtains to increase the privacy as it’s probably too late to add doors.

• Sandra (10/5): Absolutely charming stay in a beautiful city - Mauro was a wonderful host who made the best breakfast. Homemade everything from his own supply. The location is walking distance to pretty much everything there is to do. Quaint charming and Perfetto!

The room, ground floor 01 was functional and spacious but the only window was opaque and had bars on the outside, or so it seemed. I like minimalist decor but unfortunately this room is drab. The breakfast was limited as it had been demolished by a horde of Americans. The air port bus stop is within a 100 metres, thus avoiding the infamous Italian taxi drivers. The hotel was in easy reach of the city centre and the Teatro Bellini which we were visiting for the opera.

The cacophony of the garbage truck waking us up almost every morning at an ungodly hour - like around 5 am or thereabouts. The noise was off the charts. You really must speak the city administration about that. Regarding our room, it would have been nice to have a full length mirror and box of tissues.

Curato anche il dentifricio, di marca e di colore nero, con un richiamo al materiale della pietra lavica che non passa inosservato!

• Kati (9/5): Stylisch und empfehlenswert - Style, Frühstück und Lage sind perfekt für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Catania. Schwer zu finden, da von außen kaum als Hotel zu erkennen. Temperaturregelung der Klimaanlage (es war sehr warm im Zimmer)

• Xavier (7/5): URBAN HOTEL 7/10 - ME GUSTO : decoracion, ubicacion, personal, wifi, zona trabajo y desayuno - Habiracion 03 : hab demasiado ruidosa debido a los operarios trabajando desd las 8Am, por tener un WC publico justo al lado. Habitacion fria, sin calefaccion, solamente aire acondicionado que ni a 28 grados calentaba la estancia. - Check out a las 10.30h
