The layout to get to the room in the guest house portion was unconventional (down and then back up stairs) but fine for us. We found parking pretty close and easily. We had a good stay and it met our needs. The pillows were extremely hard and flat.

• Matúš (4/5): Only for low cost travelers not expecting much comfort - Good breakfast, and nice location near a park and good pubs. Room was in the basement, too small, you can only open one suitcase at the time, at max. There was a bad armpit smell. Beds were old and squeaky, with worn out mattresses. The rugs were dirty and dusty, they immediately triggered an allergy.
• Heloisa (7/5): Séjour correct grâce à l’emplacement et à la chambre, petit-déjeuner à éviter - Belle chambre, globalement propre et bien située, même si le personnel a oublié un torchon sur la table de notre chambre. Je vous déconseille le petit-déjeuner : 20 £ par personne pour un service très décevant. Les clients n’ont même pas le droit d’utiliser la machine à café eux-mêmes ; nous avons vu plusieurs personnes se faire réprimander pour avoir simplement appuyé sur le bouton. Le personnel semblait totalement débordé, au point qu’un employé passait son temps à s’excuser auprès des clients. Nous sommes arrivés vers 9h15 alors que le service se terminait à 10h, mais il ne restait déjà presque plus rien et le personnel commençait à débarrasser les buffets. Vers 9h40, j’ai demandé un café et on m’a répondu que le petit-déjeuner était déjà fini et qu’il fallait partir. J’ai ensuite demandé au moins un fruit, puisque nous avions très peu mangé, mais cela nous a aussi été refusé alors que les buffets étaient vides bien avant l’heure de fermeture.

• Mark (9/5): Huiselijk en comfortabel - Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam, de kamer was opgeruimd en comfortabel, en het ontbijt bevatte alles waar je je bij een Schotse vakantie op verheugt. Geen minpunten.

• Fiona (8/5): Lovely overnight stay - Friendly staff, lovely breakfast, lots of choice. Basic accommodation but got everything you need for one night's stay. I would stay again. The water pressure was very low on the shower, maybe some more plug points would be good.

• Matthew (5/5): - Decent location for our trip. Rang the day before to arrange early check in and was told that we could get into both our rooms and just pay one early check in fee. On arrival the receptionist wanted to charge for both rooms and that there was no note on the booking stating otherwise. To say he looked like he couldn’t care less would be generous. That said, once we got into our rooms they were sufficient for our needs

La struttura è sempre curata e pulita, con ambienti accoglienti che fanno sentire subito a proprio agio. La colazione è buona e sufficiente, perfetta per iniziare la giornata. Lo staff si conferma estremamente gentile, disponibile e attento: un valore aggiunto che rende il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. • Margaux (9/5): Great room and nice staff - Great room and comfortable. The staff was super nice and great breakfast with lots of options. We could even parked our car. We didn’t know it was also an hotel accros the street and we would have to go other there to breakfast but it wasn’t a dealbreaker.
• PB (9/5): Great wee hotel in a quiet neighbourhood with excellent, friendly staff. - The hotel is in a lovely quiet area at the far end of Sauchiehall Street and very close to Kelvingrove Park which is absolutely beautiful, worth a wander into its lovely green space. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a huge bathroom and a window that opened to allow some fresh air in. Lots of plug points in the right places, a very good hairdryer and plenty of hanging space made our room far better than some we have stayed in. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and the staff were delightful and so friendly and welcoming. The only thing we didn't like was that the bed was uncomfortable and the duvet was a bit small, but we realise , for a budget hotel, these things are to be expected.

• Sabrina (8/5): Cozy rooms lovely breakfast and service! - The room was clean and cozy. The breakfast was hearty, and the bathroom was clean and modern. The street noises were the only complaints from one of the guests. Beds were a little squeaky. Over all very cozy and clean

A lovely, fresh selection of breakfast choices. Lovely staff. You get what you pay for with the room, but it was good for one night. Shower was lovely! Hair dryer was powerful. Reported two issues with our bathroom but otherwise, would stay again.

It was an easy walking distance from the theatre and the train station. Our eoom was situated at the back if the guest house which was very quiet.

Our room was cold and had a bit of a musty smell. I’m guessing it’s because it’s an old property. Also the stairs were a little steep and narrow. • Gerald (9/5): Great value in an ideal location for the City of Glasgow. - We had a splendid, spacious room, with a large cand comfortable double bed, and a decent bathroom with shower and bath. We were welcomed by a friendly member of staff, and other staff were equally pleasant. There was a good breakfast buffet, and the coffee was good, too. The location was quieter than we expected, and immediately convenient for museums and dining. We had forgotten how friendly a place Glasgow is! It was a little inconvenient to reach our room via two staircases, which were rather narrow.

Excellent breakfast with vegetarian options, a rare thing even in 2026, Linda McCartney sausages available if asked for. very friendly staff and nice clean room. About 3 car park spaces available for guests and no concessions for on street parking, fortunately it's free on a weekend but we had to pay about £13 for 2 hours as we arrived Friday, other hotels with limited parking provide concessions. The cleaners were a bit zealous, removing a perfectly reusable use again plastic shopping bag from the room and a half full bottle of water.
