Guest Reviews
- Raul A (10/5): - Clean room great service
- Carlos (10/5): Convenient - Motel was built a long time ago, but is well kept. Room is small, bathroom very big, still has terrazzo floor.
Slept well
- Daniel (2/5): I’m not the only one! (Don’t stay here!!) - Hands down worst place. Don’t stay here for any reason. Car, street, ditch are better options. Manager is a creeper and I’d not be surprised if room cameras had been present. The place is a scam. He will try n get money out of you then then work at eviction. Boom has ur money then re rents the room without ur reimbursement. Please read all the reviews as what I’m saying isn’t fallacy. I will be pursuing my issues in court with this hell hole.
- Audre (8/5): - It’s shabby (paint chips on the walls, etc) but I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. It has AC. The pool didn’t look clean, though, so we didn’t swim.
- Juan (2/5): - Totalmente descuidada. Sucia. Todo todo en mal estado.
Nada bueno.
No regresaria JAMAS!!!!!
- Alex (6/5): - Parking was convenient, the staff was helpful, and the bed was comfortable. However, the WiFi was iffy, lighting wasn't great inside the room, and the shower was pretty bad (water came out in tiny jets, with one of them shooting off at the wrong angle).
- Tina (2/5): - Manager was very Rude got charged twice. Got told to leave before 11 and you have to pay for ice
- Kelsey (6/5): No frills budget hotel - We were looking for a hotel before we visited Joshua tree, and this hotel fit the bill. The room said it had a queen size bed, but definitely did not. We were only there for the night. Hotel works if you are looking for a relatively cheap place to stay for the night, but definitely isn’t fancy or a place I would want to be long term.
- susan (10/5): Worth what you pay. - This Motel is better than most popular chain Motels in Indio.
- MAGDALENA (2/5): - Nobody was there to check in…
- edgar (2/5): - Is very nusti and flys for everything smell very bad the owner is very rud cero star for this hotel
- Julio (2/5): - The air conditioning did not work the room was really hot even after a few hours it was still hot
- tanisha (2/5): WARNING ⚠️ DO NOT STAY HERE. - Nasty
Filthy
Dirty
Smelly
- Jonathan (2/5): Worst Hotel Ever - The person in front office was rude and disrespectful
- eva (4/5): - I got a late check in I was super tired my room was super dusty around all the furniture and no phone at the room and when I wake up trying to go to the restroom the bed frame metal cut my leg . Got some pictures to show . Really disappointed.
- Leticia (10/5): - It was great good price good location it’s quiet people are friendly good restaurants close by lots to do and Coachella is coming up better make your reservations
- Janet (4/5): - Hair in bathtub and sink and on the floor. Dirty behind both night stands.
- Durval (6/5): - it was not worth the amount it cost. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the tv didnt work, he had to come change cables etc. it worked for the evening, but then did not work again in the morning. the rooms smelled a bit. we didnt have towels, had to request that. The value didnt match the price
- Verified traveler (2/5): Anywhere but here - Please do yourself a favor and stay anywhere but here. When checking in someone finally greeted me after having to ring their bell 3 times only to be told someone would be with me shortly. I waited around for an additional 10 minutes for Dennis who was not only incredibly aggressive, but also incredibly rude and would not stop cutting me off while speaking. This treatment and attitude continued anytime I had to come to the front desk. When it comes to the room I know this is a motel so I really had 0 expectations and I was still somehow let down. The room wasn’t even ready when checking in and wouldn’t be for another good while I was even asked if I wanted my room clean, like what? In what reality, especially during a pandemic, would I not want a clean room? The room itself is severely outdated with the walls being banged up with markings, indentations and holes. I’m glad I brought my own soap and shampoo because what they had were old dusty bags of toiletries. Shampoo in a bag? No thanks. Nothing was ever explained when checking in either so getting anything to work in the room was yet another unpleasant conversation with Dennis. On top of everything it’s hard to say what exactly is going on there especially because at around 7am, with no consideration for anyone still sleeping, you could hear Dennis banging on a door nearby trying to get someone to answer the door, something about money/ rent. You’re better off staying anywhere else. In fact try the Motel 6 next door
- Melanie (10/5): - The room was good. The property was convenient to our locatiin.
- christopher (2/5): Worst stay ever - Rude fro t desk agent half the lights didn’t work. Constant noise from other guest through out the night couldn’t sleep at all
- Mauro (8/5): - The manager was nice and trying to accommodate our needs but the place is a bit run down, especially for $120/ night in off-season and nobody around
- William (2/5): - We were overwhelmed with the odor of disinfectant when we walked into the room. The room was tiny, doors warmed bathroom minuscular, drapes ill fitting, noisy, the grounds filthy, lighting almost non existing and a creepy feeling in general. If we hadn't been so exhausted we would have left.
- John (2/5): - Office was extremely rude and not very helpful. Called our office yelling at the accounting dept. Not very professional.
- Judy (4/5): - Air conditioner sounded like a jet turbine..all night and did not cool well
- Verified traveler (4/5): - My friend and I needed a last minute place to stay on our way back to home and didn't want to pay an arm and a leg. We booked a room here sight unseen. The staff kindly "upgraded" us to a room near the pool, which he said would be quieter, which confirmed our suspicions that this place is not exactly "family friendly." The folks hanging around outside looked rough. There was broken furniture and bags of trash around the property. The room itself was shabby, with dents and scuffs all over the walls. The shower didn't drain and the shampoo and soap provided was literally so old it had dried in its packet. That said, the sheets and towels seemed clean. Would not stay here again. Wishing I had just sprung for the extra $30 for a cleaner, safer hotel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Satisfactory everything
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I liked that while I was traveling, at 7:00 PM, I received a phone call from front desk staff inquiring if I was still checking in that night, I told him that I will make it there around 9:00 PM; I thought that was very nice of them!
- Derrick (6/5): Ok for the area - It was a ok room for the area a little small but it was clean. Only problem was the microwave would blow a circuit so I had to move to a different spot in the room. Overall it’s a ok room
- Leticia (10/5): - Well I’m going to start off with the train that runs across the street. Not to worry folks once you’re in the room you can’t even hear it. The room was very clean, comfortable, clean towels and sheets. Came in for a funeral and had only book the room for two days plans changed and I decided to stay two extra days the motel manager was very accommodating to me I appreciate them so much. I. Would definitely stay there again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No
- Douglas (10/5): - Manager was very polite and helpful.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Rude
- Valeria (2/5): Shutting off the electricity so they can check out - The receptionist was rude and check out is at 11:00 am. But we had to check out at 8:12 am because they shut off our electric for us to leave early I called the front desk and the guy answer but he gave me with an attitude answer. So we asked next door to see if his electricity was off he said no why?
- John (4/5): - Cheapest of the cheapest. Room is tiny. Ac is either too cold or too hot. Tv doesn’t work most time and worst of all management doesn’t care one bit.
- Charles (6/5): - Ok
- Scott (4/5): Live and learn - Welp the place is old and the person said he was giving me a free up grade lol what ever that was no bulb in the lamp by the bed and the smoke alarm chirping all night and left over trash in a can in the bath room and I ended up sleeping in my clothes on top of the sheets ehhhh my bad choice
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The owner opened our front door when I was asleep fir no reason . Very rough customer service then checking in at the place
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The manager is a rude jerk that screams at the customers. The rooms are dirty and on top of that the rooms weren't ready at check in time
- CharlesD (8/5): - OK let's face it this was the best deal in Indio. for $60 i got a clean room and free internet. So it is a super deal. I got a free upgrade for a King without asking. The area where the motel is nicely located near the 10 Freeway. Perfect to catch some zzzz before taking the road a gain. Nothing fancy of course but clean an practical. Good deal
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Room had unsanitary odor. Non working TV. Extremely small room. Not worth it spend an extra 20 bucks and get a nice clean room from a chain hotel in the area.
- Carissa (6/5): Eh - Its an old place but there were a few baby roaches which is uncomfortable to see. The water was nice and hot but the temp meter in the shower was backwards. There was no coffee maker in the room which sucked. And there was only 1 side table by the bed and it was unsteady.
- Eric (8/5): Ok room for a quick one night stay - For $66 it was very nice...
- Verified traveler (2/5): Warning - The guy in the office was drunk and yelling at us the room had roaches we had to just sleep 4 hours and left....no hot water we used our own linen and left it there ....their sheets had pee stains....do not stay there
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Even for the bargain price, this was not worth it.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Room is old but clean. Late check in went smoothly. Problem was there was air bubbling from the sewer all night. Toilet bowl was clogged. Sewer at shower not draining properly and most of all, no hot water at the shower.
- Rafa (2/5): - The white guy at the front desk was very racist and disrespectful flat out said he didn't like no one but white people
- Gabs (10/5): - Very clean, cute pool, very quiet, will stay again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice and quiet.... polite people. Clean rooms..decent price
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Bed sheets and bed cover had stains all over them. I woud stay
- Verified traveler (8/5): - OK property for the room cost value. Got to see the Terrazzo bathroom walls and floors.
- Pete (4/5): - Location for my purpose is good, near by is an excellent restuarant.
- John (8/5): Easy in and out - Quick. Clean. Manager right on property and always available.
- Christina (8/5): Very peaceful - Very calming
- John (8/5): Manager always present.🎯 - Straightforward.....clean and Dennis the manager is available always. Simple. 2 excellent Mexican restaurants walking distance.
- John (8/5): Straight forward - Straight forward...... Clean......quiet and i like location away from town traffic. Great for campers and truckers.
- CurdsNwhey (4/5): - Pool side rooms! Other than that this property seemed to have a brothel type appeal. Upon entering the room I found the nightstand surfaces and even the chairs came lubed up and ready to go. The headboard and floors and sheets were either dirty or stained. When I nicely confronted the owner he seemed to take offense and refused to do ANYTHING. 60 dollar non liveable room.
- Tanya (2/5): - I did not stayed at this property , manager kicked us out before knowing we had a reservation , I called to cancel and he refused to give us the money back .
- Armando (10/5): - I love nices place very confortable. Very close any area restaurants. Casinos
- Dennis (10/5): Managers always on top of things great service - Excellent as always
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Dennis is amazing stayed there during a detail older facilities but clean and comfortable with minimal riff raff
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Very old property, small tv, no bath tub, no WiFi or usb connection.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I would not recommend this place to anybody specially if you do booking online the management is rude disrespectful and does not follow the rules when it comes to having service dogs they make things harder than it needs to be the price I would not recommend. They look for any reason to kick you out and keep your money.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok place - Water was to hot had to ask to have my room cleaned and had to ask for clean towels.
- Tanda (10/5): Holiday hotel - It was the best trip I ever had I would come back Curtis hotel they are very friendly kind and courteous.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I would like for manager in charge to make the cancelation stating he refused to even process my credit/debit card due to the simple fact that he saw 3 persons in the vehicle, he made the comment of not going to process card cause amount of people that where tjere to party... Not letting my partner and i explain the 3rd person was only our choffer . I want my full refund from that white man he is nothing but raises he descriminates certain "men" based on appearance
- J-Will (8/5): - The manager could be warmer, though I think he's trying.
- Tanda (6/5): Don't go there it sucks - It could have been cooler if it took three hours for it to cool down could have been a lot more cleaner refrigerator refrigerator froze everything turn it down to 0 and it still froze everything . tv dinosaur the guy was a total prick
- Eddie (10/5): - It was a great place to stay clean and very respectable
- Peter (10/5): - Nice and clean place for not demanding.
It's a lot to see around Indio.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Horrible experience, the room was very dirty - unwashed sheets and dirty towels. One night our key failed to open the door, we went to front desk for help and the master key also did not work- we were left at 3am waiting outside the room until a “locksmith” had to break in the room. No apology or refund was offered. Do not stay here.
- Angelo (10/5): - Great location! Conveniently placed right near the Empire Polo Club, this spot is an economical place to stay when in town for Coachella. Book early as prices do rise in the area, but they’re flexibility, free on-site parking and accommodating policies really do make the festival experience that much easier. There’s also food, fuel and other attractions - like day -tripping to pool parties nearby.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Indio Motel Review - Pro: Great stay considering it was for Coachella, staff was nice and provided assistance. Didn’t have a problem with parking and owner I assume suggested ride situations, his wife provided a ride to the event and I’m not sure going back but it was $10 a person. Which was a genuine offer, honestly if you’re tired or didn’t want to drive, but it was 10 mins away so wasn’t bad at all for us. Asked the front desk if we could check out at 12 instead of 11, said it wasn’t a problem.
Cons: Felt slightly unsafe as to there weren’t latches for the door, no safe in the room or not that I could find one. Ice machine required 25 cents, first time I’ve experience that but I’m sure they have their reasons.
- jennifer (2/5): Gross and inhospitable, won’t accept blame - This place was gross. Our room was not cleaned, they wouldn’t change our room and didn’t even want to give us an extra blanket. We slept in our clothes. The bed was nasty. The owner refused to give us even a partial refund and blamed us for not expressing properly that the room was not usable. The manager only gave us the extra blanket because we told him the room was uncleaned. He addressed the maid in front of us the next day. No soap, no shampoo, hairs everywhere.
- Sara (8/5): Good for one night! - Needed a place for one night. It was clean and quiet.
- Brian (8/5): - House keeping came to early and then never came back.
- Luis (8/5): Alright - Small place but yet it was comfortable
The only problem was the WiFi
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Brutal experience. Charged me for 3 people. Rooms were dirty and smelled like smoke
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Area Nice and the room are clean , the pool looks clean
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Not far from Indian Wells Tennis Garden, bus stop a block and a half away, a short drive to multiple restaurnants.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff is wonderful! Will return, on more trips! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Near train tracks and highways.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not again. - Not worth the money, very old.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - hotel room was very very small and dingy, dark, bottom of hotel door was all rotten on bottom and small gaps... just not very appealing... location was also not the greatest, close to railway tracks, (which would be bad for light sleepers) looked like it could be a very seedy area.
- William (4/5): Not the best experience. - We got there before the check in time and the person at the desk said if we gave him $20 we could check in now or come back about 3pm. We went and shopped. After we checked in and were resting on the bed, the housekeeping girl opened our door without even knocking. The carpets didn't look like they had been vacuumed in awhile. There was no shampoo for the shower. The wifi was poor. The price was good. We booked online. Should be rated 2 out of 5.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It was filthy, a good cleaning is needed. bathroom floor looked like it hadnt been cleaned in weeks. We only stayed there as our other hotel had cancelled us at last minute.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The room was musty, one glass for 2 people, enough toilet paper for maybe two visits, no tissue box, manager thought it was a great room.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The motel is quiet, clean, and very private. Came here to stay for just one night and had no trouble with the check in.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff are Great! They are very friendly and accommodating!
- sara (6/5): Stop over - It was fine as stop over place. TV didn't work. Nice desk area. When we checked in, man wasn't friendly, but no major problem
- First (2/5): That part - Three words-terrible
- Daniel (10/5): - Was cool!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The only complain I have is that I talked to a Hotels.com representative to book a room and I needed to do a early check in. The guy from Hotels.com said the earliest check in he was able to get was 10am. So I got to the hotel at 10:30am and I talked to the owner of the hotel and he said that he never checks in anyone early and who ever told me that the check in was at 10am lied to me. We were going back and forth at this point arguing about it. He said he can do a early check in if I paid an extra 50 dollars or so and the earliest he can do is around 1. After talking about it for a few minutes he said I could check in at 2:30pm. I couldn't get my money back at that point so I stayed for about an hour and then checked out and left to another place.
- Maria (10/5): - Good place to stay ! cheap and clean and nice parking lot !
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good value - Great owner, got a quiet room off the swimming pool and had a pleasant comfortable stay.
- Ruth (6/5): - The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Its like they dont care about the condition of the rooms .. they're really mistreated.
- John (8/5): Thanks. Quiet and clean. - Clean and quiet. Manager helped me with TV issue immediately. Good value for my dollar. I actually extended stay one week and check out tomarrow.
- ruben (8/5): - like close to fwy near casinos close to palm springs
