It would've been nice for the Office to be open upon check-in and check-out to greet the hosts.

• Susan (2/5): - The property and rooms are equally as dated as they are dirty. 1970’s decor. The carpets smelt. The towels and kitchen dish cloth were old and smelly we didn’t even feel safe to use the bathroom shower. The cushions on the cane chair in bedroom were stained with wear and dirt. The owners are obviously reinvesting into the cleanliness and updating the room to todays standard but charge $227.00 for the night. It’s insulting .

• Phe (6/5): - All quite comfortable and served our needs. Windows wouldn't open, air con was super old and crazy loud, kids bedroom door wouldn't close and the tea-towels and sponges were threadbare and really needed replacing. But we had a good time being so close to everything in the area.

• Anne (6/5): Convenient location - A very convenient location in the heart of Balnarring and convenient for the event we were attending 15mins drive away. New managers are welcoming but just getting used to running this motel . Despite confirming an available early check in, we were given the keys to a room that had not been cleaned after previous occupant. Visiting this motel with another couple who share our unusual surname, we were given rooms at either end of the complex. Rooms are dated and the towel rail was nearly detached from the wall.
• Lene (4/5): - Absolutely not value for money. We paid $650 for two night on a very outdated room where windows couldn’t be close and aircon didn’t work. No staff on site, very noisy neighbours and some kind of music festival next door which made us leave after just one night.
• Michael (10/5): Quaint motel on the Peninsula - Nice motel very centrally located on the Peninsula, and within easy walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. The motel itself was a little dated, but the staff were super friendly, and the spa jacuzzi in the room was nice. We certainly would stay there again.

• Jeff (8/5): wo night stay - The Motel is in a good location and Frank and Di are lovely. Had some issues when arrived and was thankful for Frank sorting the booking issue out with very little fuss. It’s a basic motel, but very clean and worth a stay. We stayed two nights and would stay again. The shops are great and you have good variety when shopping. It’s a quiet area which was nice and all the staff are friendly and pleasant.

• Natalie (8/5): Ideal location if you're visiting the local area - Balnarring has come along in recent years with some lovely local shops, cafes and bars to visit. This Motor Inn whilst a little 'tired' in the furnishings, was very clean open space as is common for older hotels, and check in was super quick. Door locks a little flimsy and could do with replacing.

A touch noisy in the morning as neighboring guests were departing but very convenient and well run establishment

The hotel was very comfortable with good onsite parking. It was only a short walk to the local supermarket and lovely restaurants. The staff were very friendly & helpful and made us feel very welcome.

The staff are great, the locality is lovely and quiet, close to shops and centrally located. The rooms are looking a little dated now but that's my only criticism. I'll continue to base myself out of here when I visit.

• Damo (8/5): nice hotel, close to shops & short trip to beach - Due to probably most parents traveling with toddlers are aware, we were looking for a basic getaway which would occupy the 2 year old boy we have, which is all important. The hotel was great for a 2 night getaway. The hotel is a walk across the road to some restaurants and take out, we went for the fish and chippie shop and the chips and schnitz burger were very good. The motel was close to the nice park just down the road, and a short trip to the beach by car. The beach is great for little ones, as it was calm and sand was no harsh on the feet. There was not much of an undertow and the beach was great to walk on after the sun went down. The park/playground/skate park is walking distance away, which is great for kids. It also had a skate instructor teaching kids to skate the day we went, but not sure if he was there as a permanent thing. We also went to nearby Hastings which had a great park/playground as well, as well as a Good play area for kids at the Westernport Hotel where we ate. The hotel also had a cubby house, which was good and the toddler loved, but it may need some TLC to fix up some minor wobbly bits on it, but nothing major.

• Ambrose (10/5): Can't be better at this price - OK, Its not the most luxurious far from stay you will get, I don't want anyone to over expected and get a bad impression when they arrive, but at this price, its a bargain and a gem. Location far from main area in the penisular, but its well located around store, food , beach and attractions etc. Room is clean and tidy, well equiped. Quite environment for a refreshing sleep. I will come back again if I want to stay in the near by location again.
