Other locations only charge 40-75 for a night. If it was a 3 night stay or longer 150 is fine but just overnight it’s a bit expensive.

- Kellie (6/5): Disappointing but convenient location - Close to public transport The queen bed was actually two singles rolled together and were hard and uncomfortable. The suite was actually a half sized room and you could hear everything in every room around us including a guest with their door held open using a car battery and their television on at full volume. There was a balcony which gave you the view of a massive PetCo building and drug addicts yelling at the tram stop below.

Had to go to hospital briefly and there was one very close. Handy for transport but a little out of town. Still trams were frequent so easy to get in and out.

Если хотите попасть к обманщикам - вам сюда. - Странно писать в этом поле "ничего", но в реальности мы в этом отеле не жили, не смотря на то, что бронирование не было отменено. Так что написать что-то хорошее об этом отеле не получится. За 4 месяца до проживания был забронирован номер в этом отеле. Букинг подтвердил бронирование. За месяц до поездки мне приходит сообщение от администрации этого отеля с извинениями из-за того, что принять они нас не смогут, потому что у них прорвало трубу (или какая-то поломка). На будущее- это оказалось враньем. Но они предлагают нам прекрасный вариант - проживание в их соседнем отеле, который расположен рядом (а именно в отеле MainStay Suites Hawthorn). За туже сумму, что и предполагалась раньше. Т.к. за месяц до проживания мы не могли найти отель, который примет нас за эту сумму, то мы согласились. Мне на почту присылают "подтверждение" бронирования в соседнем отеле. Менеджер MainStay Suites Abbotsford, который общается со мной, предельно любезен и говорит, что никаких проблем нет. За несколько дней до поездки он дополнительно письменно подтверждает, что меня ждут именно в MainStay Suites Hawthorn. Каково же было наше удивление, когда, приехав в Hawthorn со всеми подтверждениями, администратор заявляет что никакого бронирования нет, и отель переполнен, поселить нас не могут, и просит ехать в Abbotsford! Но, в Abbotsford также нет мест, о чем нас уведомила девушка-администратор. И она сказала что наше бронирование у них отменено, потому что весь отель был забронирован для проведения какого-то соревнования спортивного (то есть не из-за поломки!). Они просто обманули нас! но, т.к. бронирование на букинге есть, и ей приходится искать для меня новые варианты. В итоге мы прождали 1,5 часа пока ей удалось найти для нас номер в третьем отеле, который был уже хуже расположен, куда надо было забираться на 5 этаж без лифта, но у нас вариантов не было. При этом они хотели, что б мы еще и доплатили за новый вариант проживания, хотя ошибка была на их стороне! Мы потеряли пол дня из-за безответственности и вранья сотрудников этого отеля. Не ставля 1 балл только за то, что фактически мы не жили в отеле и было бы нечестно занижать все оценки.

- Leonora (9/5): Comfortable and convenient. - Being on the third floor gave us a view of trees and sky. It was nice to have a balcony. Parking cost extra but made it easy to have the car in the city. Triple glazing kept the noise out. The only external air came through the door to the balcony so when that was closed for quiet it felt a bit stuffy. The shower was more like a water jet !

- Dan (10/5): - The location to a main tram line, made it very easy to access other parts of the city. Conveniences like a grocery store nearby and shopping mall meant there is everything you need in walking distance in the local area.

Loved that there is a couch and dining table. Good and spacious for a studio size. Staff were happy to provide us with all new towels after a few days on request. I wish you would have some dish soap, cooking oil and disinfectant spray in the kitchenette. And maybe a full sized sponge. Also, the shower head?? What even is that. You need to install a nice water saving one. It's direction of stream and pressure kind of wrecked the shower a little.

The reception staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. The car park was easy to use. The room itself was great, a nice shower room, a good kitchen, comfortable bed and a nice balcony. The hotel is in a good position, lots of places to eat and drink, a nearby shopping centre, and i enjoyed a walk along The Yarra River to the rear of the building. I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here. Nothing...it's a lovely place to stay

- Debra (9/5): Melbourne Tennis Trip - We've stayed often & never fails to please. Ticks all boxes for location & access to trams, shops, IGA next door. Also apartment quite spacious & kitchenette with great cooking facilities & washer/ dryer! Parking undercover on site ( fees apply) but car off streets & safe. We were there for the free end of month Breakfast which was a delicious surprise. Special mention to wonderful friendly cleaning staff as well. There is a lounge provided in living area which is most uncomfortable & not really suitable for 2 people. But this didn't spoil all the positives.

- Steve (3/5): Don’t waste your money - or if you have already booked then get them to accompany you to the room and look at the shower - Location - handy to public transport and shopping centre The property is not kept very well - the room stunk of chemical smell - the bathroom was filthy- mould in the shower - couch had stains on it - headboards had grease marks on them from peoples head - the outdoor veranda furniture was black with grime - we tried to clean it but gave up- all the cupboard doors and surfaces had sticky finger print marks along with smear marks from a cloth. I asked receptionist was the room was quiet- she said you won’t hear anything as it’s double glazed - unfortunately this isn’t the case - you hear the trams and traffic noise all night!!

- Rebecca (9/5): Convenient location with clean quiet rooms and friendly staff - Reception was very friendly. The location is a short train ride from Melbourne CBD so it was conveniently close. The room itself was very clean and I appreciated that there was a well-furbished kitchenette so I was able to make some food as needed. The bed was comfortable and the room was also very quiet so was easy to sleep well. Would definitely stay again. My only complaint is the air conditioner was a bit noisy so I found it hard to sleep with it turned on.

- Paul (5/5): See above. Handy for the mcg. But I wouldn’t recommend. - Nice big rooms Access. 2 lifts, no useable stairs other than in an emergency (through a neighbouring building). One lift out of order at the time of our visit over the whole of the Xmas period. Didn’t like that at all. Dirty plate the microwave. No room service whatsoever. Yes, it was Xmas. But no staff at all? Really? The bins were a bit lively by the time we left.

- Kylie (8/5): Great accommodation in Abbotsford - Well appointed studio room in Abbotsford. Was right next door to the REIV where we had a conference. Easy access to great cafes and food and lovely river walk. Tram out the front took you into the city in about 15 minutes. A few more pillows on the bed would have been good.
