- Eva (2/5): Disappointing - Location outside hotel was brilliant only 20 minute walk to beach I rang the hotel prior to attending to ask about spa services but when asking what was avaliable I found call handler quite abrupt and didn’t actually answer the questions I was asking. This led to me and partner not able to use any facilities which we initially booked this for. Additionally, the room we were given was very out of date, issues with TV working and wifi didn’t work in room with limited 5G. Food was okay- expensive for what it was. Also no one advised us of breakfast times on reception on check in. Only that I checked my email after I seen breakfast times but received no updates or reminders from staff like you usually would when checking into a hotel, the only thing offered was lukewarm porridge in a slow cooker but two young girls offered to make us toast which was nice. We are due to get married in a few weeks and had booked for a last minute getaway and feel like we had completely wasted our money. Would not recommend to guests travelling for our wedding to stay or others in general.

The restaurant had a cracking menu with lovely specials and breakfast offered great options. As we were there on a Monday wjen it was a little quieter, we were allowed to check in an hour early - again staff being super helpful and using their discretion. N/A

I think the parking was the biggest let down, there was never a free space on the hotel car park. The room was just next to what looked like maybe a kitchen extractor fan-quite noisy one.

- Eimear (10/5): - We recently stayed here and had such a lovely experience. The whole hotel has such a cosy, relaxing feel from the moment you arrive. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, which really made the stay even nicer. The spa was amazing – one of the best parts of the trip. It was so relaxing and really well kept. The food was also beautiful. It was great value for money for the overall experience. Our room was cosy and comfortable. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break!

- Margaret (10/5): You will feel at home and hate to leave! - I have stayed in so many places in Ireland but this boutique hotel is a favorite gem! The entire staff is wonderful, friendly and attentive. My room was gorgeous, spotless, comfortable and quiet. Great bathroom with a big shower. The hotel is bright and decorated beautifully. The restaurant was fantastic for dinner and drinks as well as the breakfast room with breakfast made to order. The location is close to the beach, safe and walkable. There is plenty of parking in the overflow lot next to it if you can’t find a space behind the hotel. Plenty to do in the area and the staff can give you some great suggestions. There is an onsite spa and hot tub! I have no complaints at all.

- Nicola (5/5): Needs major update and lower prices. - The breakfast was good although service was slow. Normally staff seat guests and take tea/coffee order. We seated ourselves and I had to get attention to order tea even though there were on 3 tables of guests in the whole room. The hotel is very tired looking and feeling. Bery creaky floors. Black water in taps that spat out on clothes to begin with. I paid more for my very basic room compared to family staying in ballyliffin Lodge who had much nicer rooms. Obvs used the excuse of a wedding in the village to hike up prices.
