Jolene (6/5): - On a very noisy street, the ac/heating unit very loud got woke up many times. The exuahst fan in bathroom loud, need a separate switch than the light switch. Needs better lighting . The coffee maker in room did not work. The bed was great, could have used another blanket.

Michelle (10/5): - So we had checked into the red lion there AC in the hall motel was not working and my husband passed out and ended up in ICU. I called the Alamo talked with Carrie when we got to the Alamo she had went above and beyond she had a room ready and waiting for us early and she had the AC on and running in our room for my husband, even though he didn’t get to enjoy it because he was in ICU, but her thoughtfulness was above and beyond and had also reached out and said anybody else in our party because we were there for a benefit for my husband, she had rooms for them all. And yes, some of our guests did check in and were very satisfied. I would definitely stay at the Alamo again.

I don't remember her name but the weekdays say shift lady has a 5+ stars in service. The breakfast was good. Waffle machine available, coffee, milk, cereal, variety of bread, scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, and sausages. I really enjoyed my time there. Is a quiet calm place. 100% recommended

Samantha (1/5): Trash🦝 - The only thing that I liked the way it looked online. We stayed 2 nights. The first night we stayed, the lady in the front office who checked us in was rude and seemed distracted. The second night I booked online, we had a family emergency. Not even an hour later, I called to ask for a refund?! was told know right away! Wouldn't even let me talk or explain my situation. I lost a family member and needed the money to get home. They would not work with me at all and had no remorse at all! I have called two days straight trying to reach a manager or owner, and they are NEVER available. The rooms were dirty, the sink wouldn't shut off, the toilet ran all night, and the ceiling was falling in right above the toilet, and only one plug in worked. I do NOT recommend this hotel!

Mary (1/5): We did not stay. The Alamo is also very run down and smells terrible. - We got to the hotel at 3 pm. We were told they were short staffed and our room would be ready in 45 minutes and told us what room we’d be in. Almost 2 1/2 hours later our room still wasn’t ready. The door to the room was open. The beds were still a mess from the former customers. 10 minutes later we told them we were leaving and they said our room was ready. There was no way they could have cleaned the room in 10 minutes. We were told the manager would credit the room as the front desk girl could not and the manager was cleaning rooms. We called the next day and they said the manager was out sick. We called again the following day and was told the manager wasn’t in. Both days we gave them our phone number. Called again yesterday and was told they didn’t know when the manager would be in. We have now disputed the charges with our bank.
Audree (1/5): Worst hotel stay ever! I have stayed at better hotels for a lot less. Way over priced. - The Breakfast and the location was the only thing that was good about this hotel. Breakfast was awesome and location was perfect for shopping and visiting family. Carpets were gross. Had to clean toilet shower, tubs before using them. The jacuzzi was completely out of date and missing buttons and knobs. The shower head was placed at a kids' height. My husband is 5 foot 1 inches and he had to bend over to use the shower head as it was placed at neck height. There is no indoor pool as it stated on the page. The outdoor pool was outdated paint was peeling off in the water. The hot tub was poorly blanked off with plywood. Service sucked., when we left for Sturgis, SD for over night, we put a sign on the door for maid service please. We came back the second day at 4 PM to a still dirty room. Maids were getting ready to leave for the day. I went to the front desk to request for it to be cleaned. They came to the room and replaced the towels and made up dirty sheets instead of applying clean sheets as I had requested. They didn't vacuum but left me the vacuum for me to vacuum my own floors.

Verified traveler (2/5): Nightmare!!! Avoid at all cost! - I travel for work, so ive stayed in some run down hotels. But this is by far the most disgusting hotel ive stayed in. Where do i start? The maid only comes 3 times a week, which explains why my room looked like people were still staying in it. Turns out they didnt clean before renting me the room. I asked for a new room, and it was even more dirty. Then when I asked for a refund, they said it'll take 3 to 10 days to go back on my card. And i couldn't afford another hotel for 10 days, so I was stuck there. Rudest staff, worst part of town, no lobby minibar, washer and dryer are disgusting, nothing is clean, and the breakfast is all rotten. Do not eat the breakfast. I wouldn't pay 5$ a night for this place. Worst stay of my life. 0/10 stars. I hope this place gets shut down.

This room was gave to us but it for sure had not been cleaned!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Go somewhere else!! NOT HERE!!

Debra (8/5): You outdid the M6 hotels that I have staid at recently. - I was truly impressed that their breakfast not only had a waffle iron but a pancake iron and biscuits & gravy! Better than all the overpriced fancy hotel breakfasts! The hidden light switch that was not right next to the door but hidden behind the curtain. Carpet could be replaced or at least move the bed over the image area.

Glenna (5/5): It was adequate but not outstanding. - The staff was super friendly. The shower curtain leaked, the toilet was old and too short, the old tile in bath area needed to be replaced.
Jeanne (1/5): Very pleasant front desk people but hotel needs lots of tlc - Location good but food not hot. Stuck with cereal Pool area dirty and pool had floating bugs and debris in it. Air conditioning unit very loud. Room is old and needs refurbishing.

Clerget (4/5): Alamo Suite and Inn - The beds were comfortable. Air conditioner worked well. Outlet caused the power strip they had in to trip over and over. Tv didn't work and there were two remotes that neither worked to the TV.
mandycK8482BN (2/5): Don’t stay unless your desperate - Room smelled of mold/mildew, when going to bath tub it was black! Had to have someone come clean it then I went to make coffee and the used pod had been there so long it was moldy! The breakfast in the morning was cold, I’d personally skip it. This is worth no more than $35 a night honestly.
Dalphna (8/5): Very good - AJ was wonderful greeting us and trying to accommodate us. The place was clean & had a decent breakfast available. The carpet has seen better days especially at the door. My father thought the morning manager was a tad grumpy.
Edward (1/5): Stay away! - We were told there would be coffee at 6am. We left long after that time and the office still wasn’t open for coffee or anything else. There wasn’t much to like except the beds were nicely made and the towels seemed clean. Although the pillows were all too fat to sleep on. I had to use a rolled up jacket for a pillow. The room was dirty, the condition was disgusting. I hated to use the toilet and no way was I going to use that shower. I will be throwing out the socks I wore to walk on the floor. There must be a train car hookup station across the street as the noise was extremely loud, and we could not sleep. 4 police cars in the parking lot arresting perp. Never again!
