- WorldWideTravel88 (10/5): Exactly What W Hotel Should Be - This hotel met all my expectations and then some, it's exactly what W hotels elsewhere in the world should be. I booked the cheapest room and was upgraded as Bonvoy Ambassador Elite to a premium suite (Urban Suite). The room was good quality construction and most importantly it was a memorable suite rather than boring style. They had good attention to details including a welcome gift for children and balloons at breakfast. It's not hard, a balloon must cost $0.10 at most but some hotels just don't have it in their DNA to do the little extras to please guests and simply go through the motions. Breakfast was mix of a la carte and buffet which included some local options rather than only the traditional stuff. What is there not to like? Perhaps the lone weakness is that the location is not ideal for visiting Bogota but I found very little negative about the hotel itself. I would return with no hesitation.

I want to give a special shout-out to our waitress, Tatiana. She was highly professional, attentive to all our needs, and always greeted us with a smile. I decided to check this place out on my own first so I could really see how it was before coming back with my husband. Honestly, I had a great experience. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Laidy at the spa front desk was lovely, and Valentina, the massage therapist, did an amazing job. Everything was very clean, and the gym is big, modern, and fully equipped—perfect if you actually like working out. I split my time between the U.S. and Colombia, and my husband and I are always looking for nice places where we can relax and enjoy time together. This spot is definitely a great option in Bogotá and is now on my list of favorite places.

Oscar, too, was incredibly helpful and friendly, always greeting me with a smile and a kind inquiry about my stay :-)) The area around the hotel is filled with fun shops and restaurants. I felt quite comfortable walking around day and night! The only thing that was a bit sad was that the gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows were dirty. I had a lovely view, but the dirt obscured the glorious sunrises and sunsets. Overall, though, excellent place to stay!

From the moment I messaged the hotel about our celebration and spa plans, the team responded promptly and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They reached out several times to gather details, even asking for a photo so they could personalize our room. When we arrived, we were thrilled to find that we had been upgraded to a beautiful suite. The room was thoughtfully decorated with anniversary letters on the bed, a welcome platter, and a framed photo of us with a personalized anniversary message. After our amazing spa appointment (highly recommend booking one), the spa staff surprised us with dessert, cocktails, and a handwritten card, another thoughtful touch that made the day even more special. The suite itself was spacious and luxurious, featuring multiple rooms, plenty of closet space, large mirrors, a cozy living area, a small kitchen, and generous bathrooms. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view of Bogotá was stunning. Breakfast the next morning continued the celebration: we were greeted with heart-shaped pancakes, fresh fruit, and yet another anniversary card. Every staff member we encountered was professional, warm, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. The property is spotless, beautifully designed, and located in a secure, convenient area. This was, without a doubt, one of the most special hotel experiences we’ve ever had. While this is not a brand that orients towards families the whole staff were super welcoming, front the front desk upwards. Oscar was very helpful in smoothing our arrival and departure. The property feels slick and modern. The restaurant Jairo is stylish and bright. The breakfast spread was probably the highest quality buffet I have seen. The gym is big and extremely well equipped, including a good set of free weights. We are coming back in a week and looking forward to it.

- Journey59531 (10/5): Amazing hotel in Bogota - This W has a spectacular location -- it's a quick walking distance (roughly 1 block each way) to 2 different malls, and when you exit the hotel on the 3rd floor, there's a little plaza area with restaurants, a pharmacy, and a convenience store. Each mall nearby also has a grocery store, should you want to pick up snacks, drinks, etc. The area feels super-safe; lots of corporate buildings around. The restaurant is also terrific -- really innovative, modern riffs on classic Colombian dishes. Carla and Maria at the restaurant, along with everyone else on the staff that we interacted with, were fabulous. Also, the internet was great -- we did opt for the more advanced internet (which is free for certain Bonvoy tiers -- I think gold and above) -- two members of my family were on zooms at the same time and there wasn't even a stutter. I'm hoping that I can get a break in my work this week to try out the spa, which looks amazing. I also appreciate that there is an indoor pool, as Bogota weather can be unpredictable -- haven't tried it yet, but looking forward to it!

Very big walk in shower with excellent pressure and temperature. Housekeeping was spot on doing an excellent job every day. A large Bogota Beer Company (BBC) is on the premises along with an excellent Restaurant (Jairo) with the waiters and servers all attentive and friendly. The morning buffet breakfast had a wide selection of Colombian dishes and fruits. Special mention for Monica & Karla( Entrance), Maria, Brayan, Mauricio (Breakfast) Very nice touch: the carpet in the elevators was changed 3x a day saying Good Morning, Afternoon or evening!

Actually it began before check-in as I had some questions for the concierge prior to my visit and every query was not only answered promptly but the service was above and beyond. My wife and I were celebrating our 22nd Anniversary on the trip and the staff (in particular, Carol at the concierge desk) made our stay exceptional and memorable. Every detail perfect, the staff had a surprise gift of chocolate and champagne waiting in our room upon arrival, the room itself was exceptional and chic and everything about the hotel was top notch. Highly recommend both the spa and restaurant (Jairo) while staying here as well. The neighborhood around the hotel, while sorta away from the action, was a real surprise as well and had great restaurant options and was quite safe. I'll end by again giving Carol and the whole staff huge kudos and as a rather picky traveler, its rare for me to lack even one point of constructive feedback. The place is a gem and can't wait to go back!

- Verified traveler (8/5): Time for a refresh - I’ve stayed here 4-5 times over the years. The staff remains excellent, but the lobby, hallways and rooms could use a refresh. Black carpet in hallways has bleach spots. Sheer white curtains in room aren’t so white anymore - stained and snagged. Some of gold drapes were falling off tracks. Fabric worn off the corner of the bedframe - I cut my leg on exposed wooden frame. White furniture is scraped and stained. Offwhite floor tiles have bleach spots. Too much clutter on the furniture in the room - cocktail shaker, ice bucket, mini bar, signage. Sensor caused closet to light to flicker on and off all night. Someone did come to address all the problems within a short time, but still… We received a complimentary “upgrade” to a king suite, but it was actually smaller than the wonderful king. The “suite” is not really a suite but rather a wonderful king with a column splitting the room into separate spaces. The column actually takes space away from the room. Hotel has free hot water in the lobby, but when I went to get hot water from the lobby at 3:30am, there was none. I asked at the front desk and was told they could bring some to my room. A few minutes later, someone showed up with a carafe of hot water, tea bags, and sugar - AND a room service charge for me to sign! I was expecting a free cup on hot water - not room service. Not possible to reserve room for 2 with breakfast for 2. Hotel only has option to include 1 breakfast at time of reservation.

- Walter (10/5): We celebrated my wife birthday - We stayed here again this time to have a birthday party here. Amazing staff anf exceptional service..Everytime we stay we enjoy the breakfast. We enjoy the music and the safety of the Santa Barbara area has to offer.I have condo here and home in lamesa cundinamarca. It is nice to have paties decorated and food and drinks .
