Shower and bathroom had almost no water pressure and toilet would almost not flush. Low Budget place for sure and you’ll know it. Guest a few doors down was blaring Rap music from the time we arrived around 10 until 230am and the started up again at 8am ! I called the desk and got a lecture about it being MY Fault because I didn’t report it the night before ? LMAO. I will not be back. The night attended had the door locked to the office and I knocked repeatedly and she ignored me. I finally had to call TWICE to get her to open the door so I could register ! I didn’t call to complain because i knew nothing would be done ! NOT eating in their restaurant either. And by the way, There is a huge reason why there are tall fences and gates around this place, It’s an old revamped 1960s Howard Johnson’s or similar hotel in the worst neighborhood ( Even if it is 100 yards from the beach) in Galveston. Loud guests and no security, Night desk clerk acted like We were interrupting her and knocked several times and finally had to call TWICE. She walked up to the door, unlocked and that’s all, walked off and didn’t even bother to push the door open or say hello. What an old BAG !!!

I had some trouble opening my room door with the key card, but the staff and maintenance were quick and kind to help me with figuring out how to open it correctly.

We loved the restaurant/bar and pool facilities. We really enjoyed the room looking out at the gulf. It was exactly what we expected. Great for the buck! Little musty smell

They were nice enough to change us to room 250 which everything was working. But it was a bit of inconvenience after we had already unpacked on the first room. We also wish they would bring back the breakfast burritos.

I would not doubt it if there has been or will be a lawsuit for that. The free breakfast was mediocre at best. But the ladies in the serving line were warm welcoming and inviting.

Big enough for kids and adults. Included jacuzzi, it was great. Also has a restaurant by the pool. Great amenities. The first room we got, it smelled like they haven’t opened the doors in years. Had one of the worst smells. The beds were supposed to be queen size, however when laying down, my feet would fall off the bed. After requesting a change of room? Last at front desk was not nice since begging not friendly. Very quiet. Not welcoming. But she seems like she gets things done. Probably just to keep us quiet. But she “upgraded” us to another room. Room had 4 beds. Room had no odor like the before one. But the smell was still not great. We settled for that one because at that point it was already close to 1AM.

The hotel is in a great location, close to a lot of restaurants and the beach. Only that I didn't quite get accurate directions to our room, but that's nothing really against the hotel.

- Donna (8/5): We did love our stay the convenient location. We will be back. - Location. We liked being on the first floor and able to walk outside to the chairs in front of our room. The pool area was nice. The ladies that served the breakfast were excellent, so nice and helpful! Front desk staff excellent also. Breakfast could improve. You’d get attacked by the birds when trying to eat outside. Inside dining would be great. The parking is limited. The bathtub was slippery and there were no safety bars. Difficult for the elderly.

The staff at check in, Melissa, was so very sweet and helpful, what great help she is! The pool was beautiful! The only downside was the crazy drag racing on the strand at nights, with gunning engines and loud mufflers. Otherwise it was perfect.

Staff was very friendly and this location is right next to the beach. Such a beautiful peaceful walk and so many places nearby to eat and go see. We chose the garden view room but they dont say its a small plant in front of your window. Ours had dead plants. lol. Breakfast was terrible. Definitely needs a lot of work.
