- Robert (4/5): - Beim Namen "Family Hotel" erwartet man irgendwie mehr für Familien. Es ist ein einfaches Hotel. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Ausstattung ist minimalistisch, das Frühstück typisch für die Philippinen - Reis mit Fisch. In einem Raum der eher an eine Kantine erinnert. Hochstühle gibt es natürlich auch nicht. Selbst ein Glas Wasser kostet 2 PHP. Late Check Out ist möglich - kostet aber die halbe Zimmermiete.

- Elena (10/5): Удобный и чистый отель! - Отель расположен недалеко от торгового центра, где много магазинов и огромный фуд корт. До пирса нужно брать такси - 5-7 минут, до аэропорта 30 минут. В номере чисто и тихо! Кровати удобные. Персонал очень приветливый, нам очень помогли, объяснили что и где находится и как добраться. Нам все понравилось!

- Carmen (4/5): - Botellas de medio litro de agua. Humedad, olor horrible, sin ventanas, bichos en el baño, ruidos del ascensor, de otras habitaciones y de las tuberías. La colcha daba muchísimo calor y tuvimos que dormir con el aire encendido y tapados. A la ducha le faltaba la puerta. Bastante mala experiencia.

- April (9/5): Very nice place to stay and the location is near SM and mybus terminal if you need to go to the airport - Rooms were clean. Towels and linen were surprisingly soft and comfy I wish they had more options for breakfast

I booked this hotel since im going to take an exam which is in same building. There is some smell coming from the comfort room especially if you dont use it like if you are out for the whole and you come back in your room, i think it came from the drainage. Also I hope they offer variety of breakfast food.

- Maxime (5/5): Hôtel de passage, vraiment pas dingue et extrêmement cher ! - Rien : cet hôtel de passage est un vieil immeuble devant une avenue (presque une autoroute), dans le noir (assez angoissant au premier abord) devant le port autonome. Je l’ai booké car il était à 5min de la gare routière North Station pour aller à Malapascua. Les draps sont en synthétiques (similaire à des draps à usage unique…) Chambre SANS FENÊTRE ! Odeur d’humidité dans la SDB et mauvais wifi ! Je suis allé utilisé le wifi du centre commercial à côté jusqu’à 22h… le tout pr 35€ la nuit aux Philippines, c’est du vol. Tout ! Même si le personnel a été sympa et à essayé de me changer de chambre pour avoir une fenêtre, ce qui ne change rien au reste.

- Sara (5/5): Für eine Nacht geht das klar - Sieht alles sehr lieblos und bisschen runtergekommen aus. Personal nicht besonders freundlich aber was will man für den Preis erwarten? Man kann zu Fuß zum Shopping Center gehen, deswegen haben wir das gebucht. In der Unterkunft aufhalten kann man sich nämlich nicht. Es gibt hier nichts. Wir hatten nichtmal ein Fenster im Zimmer also es reicht gerade mal zum schlafen und duschen Atmosphäre

- Brian (10/5): - Very clean modern hotel, everything worked, staff from security guard onwards, were very friendly , smiling, The amenities were first class, room had no window but in this area didn't miss much, a very short walk to sm,and just a little bit further to Robinson galleria, 70 p taxi to pier 1, location perfect for us, priced similar to a lot of run down hotels in cebu, so great value for money, bathroom was very modern and well built and large, Absolutely nothing

- Paul (5/5): Vermoeiend! - Op zich was de accomodatie OK voor één nacht. Het lawaai! Het hotel ligt op een hele drukke baan in de haven, waar dag en nacht auto's en trucks over rijden. Alleen al het geluid van de motoren maakt een immens lawaai en dan moeten ze ook nog constant toeteren. Ik heb van heel de nacht geen oog dichtgedaan en was de volgende ochtend verschrikkelijk moe om het laatste stuk van mijn traject per boot aan te vatten.

- EDWARD (7/5): I made a mistake because I am looking for a hotel close to the beach and not in an industrial area. - Industrial area, it was far from restaurants, the coffee machine was broken and I left after 2 days and paid for 4 days. I had friends and I wanted to exchange these two nights for one night so that my friends would sleep in this hotel instead, but the manager did not agree.

Staffs at dining area were not at all friendly , kid friendly to be exact. Seems like they are lazy serving breakfast. Overall experience is good and i would still love to stay at sugbutel on my next trip to cebu.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I imagine that detention centres would, or should, be run like Sugbutel so called Family Hotel. Extremely orderly with lukewarm service personnel. Still, it was a relief for me to be able to sleep in a noise free, clean place. The only thing this place lacked was atmosphere. There is no apparent communal area, so there’s no social aspect to the place unless you’re there with family or friends. Annoyingly too, the WiFi access switches off for any and every reason. You moved. You paused. So you have to keep logging in. It’s close to a big mall, SM mall is a 5 minute walk away. And the hotel is a short taxi ride from many places of interest.

As of this moment, some parts of the hotel are being renovated & not in excellent condition. The front desk people needs to improve when it comes to costumer service. Management should not hold any of your personal identification upon check in & the use of the keycard should not have a 500php deposit, it should be given for free since your booked in the said hotel. Some of the staffs are nice & respectful. Good costumer service is a must. Thank you.

Staff are nice and accommodating, there’s housekeeping everyday and new drinking bottled water. They serve set breakfast, any additional slice of ham or sausage is not allowed. My stay is just fine, the hotel is not fancy nor either a cheap hotel.. its average

- frank (2/5): AVOID - overpriced for what it is. - Expect nothing and still be disappointed. Room was not cleaned properly prior to my arrival. They have no sheet on the bed, just a dirty fleece blanket, with no clean sheet to cover yourself with. When asked for a sheet they told me 40php, then 50php, then told me they had none. They put my call through to a Manager but the phone rang and rang and rang. No answer, no followup. Breakfast is mediocre and badly put together. The place is SO noisy, do not expect any sleep, even with ear plugs. The doors slam and echo in the hallway, the doors have alarms on them when held open too long, sp you'll hear those alarms all night as well as disrespectful filippino tourists schlepping up and down the hallway and yelling to each other past well into the morning hours and then again before 5am. Room doesnt match photo well at all. Room smells very musty, no window in room or bathroom. Just go somewhere else.
