• James (4/5): The room was very disappointing, but the vacation wasn't about the room. Still had a good time. - Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Staff was very nice, as well. Room was 20 feet from the main entrance, front desk and pool entrance. Across the hall from the "breakfast room". A 6" exhaust duct outside the room window that was very annoying. Room would have been quieter if it had been located on an Interstate off ramp.

• LINDA (3/5): Never again!! - We were late arriving on Island due to mixup on Ferry. Not able to obtain a taxi. Had someone from restaurant bring us over and no one in office. Had to call number on board in office. Put us on 2nd Floor in an adjacent building. I don't believe there were that many people staying there that night. BATHROOM DOOR WOULD NOT CLOSE.....truly acceptable. Very pricey for what you get. Would not recommend. Tried to contact someone to tell them we would be a late arrival. Evidently not on location. Also forgot toothbrush and none available in office.

Our air conditioner did not get cold. We had two rooms for six and the other room was fine. Pool was open to everyone at the other location so full of random people from other hotels will stay somewhere else for sure next time.

• Josephine (8/5): We enjoyed our stay and the staff went our of their way to make our stay lovely. - We arrived early but were checked in right away. Staff person on duty in the office was friendly and informative. Room was clean and ready for occupancy. We were on the second floor. The stairs were outside and very steep. It mad it difficult to carry our luggage up the stairs. We are all over 70 years of age and in good shape and were able to get our luggage up and down but it was a steep climb.

They said there was a pool and hot tub but they had closed it for the season, they also said there was a bar and restaurant on site but was also closed down. I imagine if it were earlier in the season they would have all the amenities.
• Elizabeth (10/5): 24hr Getaway for two - Great location, hotel is in the middle between downtown bars/restaurants a few blocks away and is more on the quieter side by the two caves and winery. The one cave at Perry’s has a butterfly house, classic cars and putt-putt, The other cave is a Geo and Winery across the street. Both places are great.The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing, friendly and very helpful. You’re able to rent golf carts as well (all day or by the hr.) Perfect place to celebrate birthday for a quick 24hr trip.

The guy at the desk working the grave yard shift was super cool and welcoming. The breakfast, cereal and milk. For kids sure that's perfect but I suggest always leaving the waffle maker on to leave that option for adults.

The first two hours we were threatened to be put out because of music and it was between 8-9pm. We had to tip toe around the whole weekend so we wouldn’t lose $1,033 on the room. There were ants crawling in the bathroom. No beach towels. I guess that’s what happens when you book three weeks out.

• Douglas (2/5): - The pool was ok. Most unfriendly staff ever! Very dirty, stained towels and sheets. Pool towels were literally mix matched like the were donated from goodwill. Lets not discuss the free breakfast. The entire hotel had to share a gallon of milk if the wanted cereal. Overall just a nasty dirty place. We paid 1400.00 for 3 nights. At exactly 11, they locked me out of my room when i was trying ro load mt car. And my dogs were srill in there!
• Judy (6/5): - For the price, I feel that the room should’ve been cleaner. It is a very old building and it shows. And the fact that we found someone else’s underwear, dirty or not I don’t know, in the bedding was a definite turn off. When we told the staff, basically they just blew it off giggled and said sorry didn’t even offer a percentage off the price or anything. In addition, the golf carts don’t work well. I would not recommend nor what I stay there.

We booked a two bedroom suite for a family of five, we arrived to a packed lobby with one younger guy behind the desk doing a good job of getting everyone checked in in a timely manner, the wait wasn’t too long considering he was by himself. We got our room keys, and got to our room. We were first greeted by an overwhelming air freshener that definitely felt like it was covering something up, followed by well used outdated furniture, broken windows, holes punched through both bedroom doors and the bathroom door, and old rusty used appliances that looked like they were straight from a garage sale. It was at this point that we decided we could use a drink to ease the pain of our $700 per night purchase. We went over to the outdoor bar by the pool to be greeted by 8-10 other patrons sitting at the bar visibly upset by the lack of a bartender. After waiting 5ish minutes we decided to go into town instead and try our luck later. It wasn’t until that night did we discover how uncomfortable the beds were, that half of our light fixtures had no bulbs in them, the ac units had leaked condensation all over the carpet, and the closet in the one bedroom wasn’t a closet at all, but instead a dusty hot water tank covered by a thin wooden shutter. The whole experience was hilarious. If you’re a drunk college kid with your parents credit card you’ll feel right at home, but if you’re paying for this room with your own money prepare to be very disappointed.

We took them back and she gave us more dry ones, it made the trip perfect since it was raining nearly all day. Property was clean and well maintained and the golf cart rental onsite was great!

• Jana (4/5): - There was not enough on site parking for paying guests, even though we paid for 3 full days but only were there for 2. Breakfast was advertised but once we check in we find out there is none on the weekends, when the daily rate is higher. There was no microwave in room & a hair dryer was not in a friends room. The pool area was locked until after 10am when the website stated it was open from 8am until 10pm. We booked this hotel as we had stayed here before & enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, however it has changed: music in the bar started once the pool was open & continued later than 10pm. This was a nice place but it has definitely changed. I will not be back.

• Nicole (4/5): Seems like no updates since 1996 - The carpets are filthy, the air conditioning doesn't get very cold in the rooms, and the shower head is so old that it barely streamed out and took an extra 10 minutes to get clean. This was for over $400 a night. I get that it is a seasonal property, but this place desperately needs updated and cleaned.

Great location and value, and renting the golf cart from this same location was reasonably priced and we could add on a few extra hours our second day. Do plan to get a taxi to and from the ferry! The on site pool was a nice place to chill out. There was some occasional noise both at the pool and in the hallways, but that's expected in a party town!

There were a lot of things that needed attention lie dome cover for light in bedroom, removing dead may flies smashed on walls, clean out fridge of previous guests food, replace damaged blinds on back door and check to make sure the milk for the cereal is not spoiled before you put it out for guests.
• Jerome (8/5): - Very friendly helpful staff; they worked hard to be accommodating. Outdoor stairs are rusty and had holes. Bix springs showing wear. Pervasive sewage-like smell in the room; we used air fresheners and air conditioner to try to mitigate. Shower temperature takes some finessing.
• Woeste (8/5): Overall an enjoyable return to the island this trip. - The pool and onsite bar were convenient and great to have. Walkability to town was a plus. When we checked in we discovered that our toilet didn't work. We were moved immediately to another room, so that was good. However, we were wondering what would have happened if the hotel had been fully booked... what would they have done? Also, we were very unhappy about the lack of parking in town. I'm sure we aren't the only visitors to the island who are complaining about that. I understand the reasoning behind changing the parking especially in front of The Beer Barrel and other bars on main strip but it is so expensive to rent golf carts and yet it forces people to do that so that they can park.

• Ravi Teja (8/5): - Sure! Here’s a review you can use or tweak for Expedia: --- We visited during a non-tourist time, so it was pretty quiet. After check-in, the receptionist was nowhere to be found for the rest of our stay, and the place felt a bit deserted. Most amenities weren't available, and the furniture was quite old and outdated. That said, the check-in process itself was smooth, and I was satisfied with the bathroom and the overall cleanliness of the room. One suggestion: they really need to install some vending machines that are actually working—there were none in working condition during our visit, which was disappointing. Overall, not terrible, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

• Julianne (8/5): Very good - The location was good, walkable to town and a short drive to the airport and ferry boats. Jackie, who managed the front desk, was very friendly. no microwave.
• Walter (6/5): - Room was clean, and functional. Did not like being told I had to pay in cash for parking my car on the hotel's property. I've stayed at this location for several years and never had to pay parking fee. why the fee and why it had to be cash??
• Jennifer (10/5): Clean and comfortable - My husband and I had a wonderful stay. Our room was very clean and our bed was very comfortable. We will definitely be back.

• Susan (3/5): Not So Good! - The front desk lady was very nice! The shower water heated up quickly. The room was extremely small, outdated, and it took the ac unit 2 days to really cool the room. The room was so small the sinknfor thr bathroom is located in the entry beside the door. The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were too firm. The toilet was not properly bolted into the floor and would move. The shelf holding the towels above the toilet came off the wall on 1 side. I would not return to this facility.
• Mallikarjun Vanam (2/5): - Restroom lock is not working.paid parking fee but asked park at street. Rude behavior. Expired milk at coffe machine.
• jacqueline (8/5): - No place to take my dog to bathroom. No vending machines. No staff at front desk, had to call and wait for someone. Jackie, who did come was friendly. Wasn’t told they had breakfast in the morning, check out time, pool and hot tub hours. Not really walking distance from Main Street, they did have golf cart rentals on site. Rooms were clean

• Wayne (6/5): You don't get what you pay for. - Location is good. Beds were comfortable. Furniture in the room is worn out. Cobwebs hanging down from the lights. Bugs climbing up the walls. Daily maid service is nonexistent. Shower is small.
• Patty (10/5): - Employees very nice, pool area was very clean, if you can’t do stairs make sure you ask for 1st floor Ths was totally my fault and for it being Labor Day Weekend they where very nice being able to change my room. We had Jackie signing us in and she is very good and what she does. One thing I didn’t care for was the music playing by the pool, it was pretty raunchy rap.
• Billings (8/5): We wished the staff would have told us there was a continental breakfast available - Very clean Easy to find

• Viva (2/5): Reserve elsewhere if you like nice places! - Had friendly staff. This is a 1 star resort with 4 star prices. Bathroom shower head was broken. Beds & pillows was very hard & uncomfortable. Bar closed early half the time.
• Verified traveler (4/5): - Group of 4 stayed the weekend before Labor Day. We got there early and our room was ready so we checked in. It was $10 a night per vehicle for parking. Upon arrival to our room, the bathroom smelled like an ash tray which we reported
