Guest Reviews
- S (10/5): - wonderful place to stay - clean, well-located, and friendly hosts
- Michele (8/5): - Getting there with suitcases was a challenge
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Rita, the owner was so nice. She made us feel right at home. The rooms are nicer that anywhere else I saw while searching in Naples. Being able to get coffee first thing was perfect. If I ever return to Naples, I’d only stay here.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Calm and very clean room; in the heart of Napoli
- Cristina (8/5): - The room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable. Good bathroom. Really great service. Very nice and helpful staff. They really went far beyond expectations to help us with information on ferry schedules to Capri, for example. The only problem was we weren’t aware the property was in a zone with no cars allowed. We had a very long, very difficult walk (small cobblestones, no sidewalks) to get there. Same on our way back. I would say I’d highly recommend this B&B for younger people who don’t mind the extra effort.
- Frank (10/5): - Amazing
The most beautiful B&B in Napoli. Myself my wife and son arrived in the bustling historic centre of Naples to be met by Rita (Nicest lady in all of Italy). On checking in Rita gave us so much information I thought she was working for the Italian Tourist board. All the information was relevant such as best restaurants to go to, what sights to see and how to get around Naples.Rita organised a tour to Pompeii and Vesuvius for us which I would highly recommend. On another day Rita and her daughter Flavia (Second nicest lady in Italy) organised a driver (Enzo) to bring us along the Amalfi coast which was unbelievable. Rita and Flavia's hospitality went way above and beyond what a traveler should expect. With regards to the actual B&B it is set just off one of the many beautiful streets in the old historic part of Naples where there is an abundance of top class restaurants and shops. Reception is so welcoming and the colour scheme throughout is so soothing. Rooms were impeccably clean and beautifully furnished. No noise from the street outside. Small annex off reception to make tea, coffee etc which was lovely in the night when we got back from sightseeing. Close to all the sights. Short walk to main shopping street (Toledo)in Naples.
Do not believe the bad press that Naples gets. The people are the most friendly in all of Italy and I can not wait to return.
Out of five stars I would give the Domus Rosa six.
Will definitely be back. Ciao and Grazie mille Rita and Flavia.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - clean property. Nice balcony. Awesome shower. Th e best part is they give coupons for breakfast in a cafe nearby. It’s very good idea for that location. The owner is a wonderful person. She didn’t speak fluent English but she explained everything in simple words. Her daughter was also very pleasant and helpful.
- Dennis (10/5): - What a great find! First of all, it's conveniently located in the center of Naples' very active historic center with many nearby shops, museums, and restaurants. Humble in appearance from the outside, the interior of this B&B is beautiful, fresh, and modern - giving the impression that you're staying in a 5-star hotel! It was comfortable and meticulously clean. Run by a mother and daughter team, you are cared for like you're a close relative. They couldn't have been nicer in every way possible - we miss our stay with them! Before arriving here, I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy Naples. In large part due to our experience with Domus Rosa, Naples ended up being one of my most favored experiences in an extensive tour of Italy. If you're considering visiting Naples, don't hesitate - it's worth it. And if you do go, definitely stay at Domus Rosa - you'll be glad you did!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice family friendly hotel - We stayed here for 5 days. The place itself was spacious and clean, with great local amenities available.
- jorge (10/5): Truly Gem - One of the most beautiful B&B I’ve ever been to, the quality of the service, the facilities and the details gave me an excellent experience. I highly recommend this hotel.
- michelle (10/5): One night in Naples - Very welcoming host, plenty of information about Naples provided. Room was clean with comfortable bed. Would recommend to friends & others as a place to stay.
- ORNIT RAHEL (10/5): - Wonderful, designed and clean rooms in the center of Naples, the owners are charming and serviced, the only problem is the distance from the parking to the apartment when there are suitcases, about 300 meters on the paths of the Old City. Very recommended place. One of the best I've ever been.
- Dwayne (10/5): Great place, great location - Booked the Domis Rosa for three nights in Naples. It is in a great location, within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Great room, just enough space for 4 of us, with a good air conditioner! The family that runs the B&B is very nice, as well! We would stay here again if we went back to Naples..
- Lilian (10/5): This is 5 Star Accommodations - I can't say enough about my stay at Domus Rosa. My room was exquisite -- and I say this having stayed at some of the most glamorous hotels in the world. The family really invested in creating a beautiful, tranquil interior that made my jaw drop when I walked through the door. I highly recommend this B & B.
- Kitty (10/5): Lovely little B&B in the heart of Naples - Stayed for 2 nights. Great service, went out of their way to direct us to the ferry to Sorento. Clean room with wonderful rain shower! Conveniently located in the heart of historic Naples. A little hard to find as its tucked away on a side street. Breakfast at local restaurant was tasty! We would definitely stay here again.
- William (10/5): Friendly, small hotel in the middle of old Naples. - Great location in the middle of the old part of Naples. Lots of narrow lanes, shops, sites and restaurants to explore nearby. Our room was comfortable with a great walk-in shower. Breakfast was great and served in a nearby bistro. The hotel staff were fantastic. We enjoyed our stay in Naples and this hotel very much. This hotel may not be for all since there is no direct access for vehicles. A walk of about 100m is required to some of the bigger streets where taxis (etc) can pass. It's about a 15 min walk from the hotel to the train station.
- Margaret (10/5): Amazing B&B in the heart of Naples - Our experience at Domus Rosa was wonderful - the owner Rosa was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Location was great, and the room was large, clean, and comfortable. Highly recommended!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Domus Rosa is a quiet, meticulously clean oasis in busy Napoli. The owner went out of her way to be helpful. Breakfast is at a nearby cafe, with fresh squeezed orange juice--better than Florida oj.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Fabulous B & B in historic old town - This B & B is like no other, the rooms are large, spotless and fabulously decorated. The whole atmosphere is relaxing and calm, something which is very much appreciated after the vibrancy of Naples. The owner, indeed the whole family, were extremely helpful and treated their guests more as part of the family, without being intrusive in the slightest. Unfortunately during our stay my purse was stolen from my backpack (be careful near the central station) but the B & B owners took great care of us even taking us to the police station and supporting us with making phonecalls to the required authorities, they could not have done more and it certainly helped me stay positive about our trip.
- Samuel (10/5): Sparkly Clean - We stayed in the Glicine room and it was extremely clean, new, and relaxing. Felt like a princess's room. I was a little afraid to get things dirty but I would rather that than the opposite! The room was large and had a day bed for a child or third person. The shower was huge and had a bench, good for shaving! Much bigger than average euro bathrooms.
Take advantage of the free breakfast of the cafe on corner, it's amazing, and you really can get a croissant (frutta di bosco was our fav), sandwich, coffee, juice, fruit, and water!
Rosa's family is charming and very helpful with suggestions for what to do in Napoli.
