• S (8/5): Great motel! I strongly recommend if you're in the area! - The receptionist was really nice, the bedroom was fine for a night, comfortable and reasonable. My only complaint was that it smelled like a strong cleaning product odor, it was suffocating, but other than that I was very happy. If you're staying in town, highly rec this motel. The smell of cleaning product similar to fabuloso.

• George (9/5): Nicely updated older property - Convenient to the place in need to be The road noise was to loud at night. Kitchen supplies were sparse. We didn’t have any paper towels.
• Thomas (9/5): Great clean motel for overnight stay - Clean updated rooms with very comfortable bed. The reviews were accurate for this location. The price was very good as well. You can see management take pride in their property. The room had a nice refrigerator for great convenience. The air conditioner in our room needs a Freon recharge.

• Laughton (10/5): Extremely nice place. - Super clean with a new paint job! Everything looked great. It was quiet and even had a coffee pot in the room. Very friendly staff. Will be going back for sure. Don't have one thing I didn't like.

• Elizabeth (10/5): We were so glad to have found this gem along our meandering route through Florida. - It was spotlessly clean, conveniently located near the biking and walking trail around Lake Okeechobee—a great spot for birding!—, and appointed simply but really nicely. The proprietor and other staff were friendly and helpful, and gave us a good recommendation for a lock breakfast spot.

• Jeffrey (10/5): Great value motel in Okeechobee - Really a great motel with a nice operator (Dave). I arrived a little bit early and Dave let me check in without any issues. I originally booked for two nights but decided to stay a third night I liked it so much there. My room was clean and comfortable. Location is good. Staff is friendly. And lastly the price point was great. It was very quiet when I was there and I don’t think I heard any of the other guests once while I was there. If I’m ever back in the area again I’ll definitely stay here again.

The room was spotless and just what I needed. If you're a hiker and reading this, come to this hotel. Right by great resupply options and restaurants. No laundry facilities. Had to do sink laundry. The owner should offer hikers laundry service for $10. Win-win.

The owner deserves special credit: incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cares about his guests. So helpful that it almost becomes entertaining 😂 You immediately feel taken care of. The cleanliness is next level 🧼✨ Seriously spotless—from the room to the bathroom, everything feels fresh and well looked after. And the bed 🛌? Shockingly comfortable. I’ve slept worse in much more expensive hotels. Only small downside: if you’re a light sleeper, the road noise 🛣️ can be noticeable in the morning. That said, I’d happily stay here again without hesitation. A hidden gem with great hospitality!

• Alan (8/5): Overall, a nice clean motel. Probably aimed more at workers than families, but ok nevertheless - The staff were friendly and accommodating plus the rooms were clean and well kept. The pillows were way too hard and gave me neck ache after the first night. I therefore drove to Walmart down the road and bought a shorter more comfortable pillow. Would I stay there again. Absolutely, I will just know to bring my own pillow 😊
