vanessa (7/5): This is the second stay we have had at this hotel and by chance ended up in the same room. The room has the same issues - The location was close to beach, food outlets and walks. On site parking. Room was large. We travel with assistance dogs and this location has the perfect parks and walks. The air conditioning is old and didn’t work correctly, it was either freezing or just a fan. The fridge also froze everything even when turned down.

Large room with comfortable beds The in room facilities were a little lacking. Just little things - no plug in the kitchen sink, no toaster, disposable cutlery, no crockery.

Jane (8/5): Would visit again! - Located adjacent to beautiful park and right opposite Boar Harbour. Lovely view of the lighthouse, break wall and harbour area. Is dated and room layout/structure brings very enclosed feeling, despite a very generous sized room. The perfect location of just across the parkland to Cliff Rd also bought a very big increase in car/hoon type noise from darkness of Saturday night (not anything in the facilities control, but not good if you are a light sleeper)

charne (7/5): Clean and good for short term stay - The motel is old but well kept. The facilities were in line with the cost. It was old but super clean. The man who greeted me was lovely and helpful. It was ok for a short term stay but needs updating. Close to everything and easy to walk to beaches. Car park was tricky in a bigger car but all worked out.

Linda (5/5): - Boat Harbour Hotel is in a great location- down near the harbour and an easy walk to all that North Wollongong has to offer - It's the main thing it has going for it. The beds are particularly comfortable too - soft but supportive. The Hotel is really dated. The synthetic turf that lines the walkways is shabby and fraying. The carpet in the rooms needs replacing as do the bathrooms.

The little balcony was lovely with a view to the harbour. Lady at Reception was very pleasant and efficient. Everything was very clean. There were insufficient power points. The bathroom needed more places to put toothbrushes etc There wasn't enough parking. It was a busy weekend but even when we could park, the spaces were really tight. We don't have a large car. Had to park streets away instead!

Todd (10/5): Excellent seaside choice! - The location was excellent for our sport weekend, right next to the starting line on the harbor. The desk staff were extremely helpful and flexible for us. There was always a place to park in their dedicated lot. The Italian restaurant (Lu Mare) and the cafe in the lower levels were both excellent. Sink was a little small.

Jessica (8/5): Great location - The location, nice and close to the harbour and my race location. There's not a lot of parking, we were lucky to get a spot, but it was a busy weekend (run and triathlon festival).
Michael (7/5): Nice stay - Friendly check-in experience. Free off-street parking. Close to beach and foreshore area. Nice view from apartment. Apartment was clean. Small fridge, microwave, kettle and sink in room. Cups/glasses and cutlery provided but would have been nice to also have some plates/bowls to use. Was in a room that had adjoining access and because of this sound proofing maybe was affected as could hear the TV from adjoining room very early in the morning.

Motel linen storage encroached on room size. Heating/cooling system outdated. Fridge area smelt of stale milk. Towels very thin and worn.

Easy to park - Excellent location, straight across the road is the harbour and a lovely walk along the harbour and a great park nearby for little kids to play in. The facilities and hotel is only 3 star but the view and location is superb and the staff were excellent and great customer service. Would have been nice to have a swimming pool and a shower that you didnt need to step over to get in.

Disappointed to find "split" between establishment, , the separate dining / likened area. Seemed "disjointed".....but overall enjoyed our stay. price.
