Guest Reviews
- Joyce mina (8/5): Quite homey - It was conveniently located and overall quite comfortable The twin beds were a little too soft
- Thomas (10/5): - Everything
- Richard (8/5): - Location and space Needs a spring clean and the spare beds were pretty hard
- Natasha (10/5): - The hosts make this place feel like your going to stay with your family for a beach retreat. I grew up here and this cottage reminded me of the warm fun atmosphere we had as kids going to the neighbours on our bikes to get our mates.
The cottage was gorgeous so clean well set out, and decorated warmly that made you feel right at home.
Situation perfect hidden away and not far from The Koonya General Store who still do have the best hot dog bar in town.
Such a pleasant place and would definitely stay again, Thank You for hosting us
- Anne (10/5): - Great location. We stayed here for a wedding. Terrible weather but lovely hosts allowed us access to the property early
- Faridah (9/5): -
- Tammy (10/5): Looking forward to staying here again. - Gorgeous cottage, felt like home as soon as we walked in…lovely warm cottage, super comfy beds and excellent location.
- Megan (3/5): Dissapointing - The cottage is cute. The queen beds were comfy and it has great heating with easy access to the beach. It's in need of a thorough clean. From inside the cupboards, walls, skirtings, everywhere. We spent an hour cleaning just to get it to an acceptable standard. The only areas that looked ok were the bathrooms.
- Glenn (5/5): Very underwhelming - The cleanliness was major issue. Really not at an acceptable level
- Mia (9/5): Superb - Comfortable, clean
- Charlie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nick (9/5): Superb -
- Rosemary (8/5): Very good -
- Kate (10/5): Nice and comfortable! Highly recommend - Very nice and comfortable stay! Good value for money. And Betty & John were great with communication and answering questions. Highly recommend! Nothing
- Caroline (8/5): Very good -
- Jackie (8/5): Very good -
- David (8/5): A lovely home with all amenities needed for a great stay - A well presented home in a great location Traffic noise during the day was a bit loud but didn’t really worry us
- Murray (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Dan (8/5): Very good -
- Clare (9/5): Fun - Comfy
- John (9/5): Enjoyable - Location, amenity For those staying just overnight like we did, it would be great to have small cartons of milk to go with tea and coffee.
- Iain (9/5): Perfect solution for our needs - It was clean, comfortable and well appointed. I liked it all.
- Moar (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (7/5): Good -
- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- Wendy (10/5): Lovely, quaint cottage in a beautiful corner of Australia - The location was great and the cottage was clean and lovely and perfect for our group
- Judy (10/5): We were only there overnight for a function and it certainly suited our purposes. - We are used to a King size bed so we found the beds a little squeezy.
- Devdarshini (6/5): Great house, great location, needs proper cleaning. - Location Dirty house, lots of cobwebs
- Susan (8/5): Roomy beach house on the peninsula - The house is very roomy with a good size living area that has a large outside deck area making the living space quite spacious if the weather is fine. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. The house is tucked back off the main road and quite private from neighbouring properties. The house itself is actually in Blairgowrie about a 5 km drive to Sorrento village. It is a good walk to either beach, however the back beach is very lovely and worth the trek.
The main bedroom has an ensuite which is very handy, however the shower is quite small.
- Sally (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rick (9/5): Superb - Location is sorrento was excellent.
Little hard to find initially but had no real problems thanks to directions from owners Everything was great no downsides
- Dennis (10/5): - Everything was great. Felt very welcomed.
- Brett (8/5): Perfect for an overnight stay -
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay was fabulous lovely hosts!
- Rachel (9/5): Cosy cottage in a great location - Awesome location and good price compared to what else was in the area. We needed to make a slight change to the booking and the hosts were very helpful and great to deal with.
- Emma (10/5): - Lovely hosts who made us feel welcome. Large property with everything you could need.
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Souter (7/5): Good -
- Alanna (9/5): A very comfy and relaxing place to stay - The amount of room inside the premises, number of beds & bathrooms, sub-floor heating & temperature control and internet television Lack of egg cups for boiled eggs for breakfast, other than that the property was great
- Maria (10/5): - The cottage was very cosy and unique, it was warm in the cold nights, the beds were comfortable and warm, it was close to everything too. Thank you
- Barry (8/5): Great location - A great location with comfortable bed and pillows, also a washing machine and outside line, great.
Superb correspondence from owners.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had a great stay at Beachwalk cottage.
The cottage is lovely and in a great location and you have certainly catered for everyone’s needs with the facilities.
- Jenny (6/5): - Good size. Great location. Cottage has EVERYTHING. Not quite clean enough for my liking but this was the only criticism.
- Brain (10/5): Wish we could have stayed longer - Beautiful cottage close to the beach and shops. The perfect place to stay if you're exploring the peninsula.
- Duminda (10/5): well worth the price - Comfortable place to stay and well worth the price. Owners are super friendly and give us the feeling that they care for us.
- mandy (10/5): Really comfortable cottage with a great feel. - Really enjoyed our stay at this very comfortable cottage. Kids thought it was fantastic too. It was a great base for our weekend adventure. Owners are lovely people.
- Sarah (8/5): Cosy getaway - We had a lovely relaxing stay, with many extra comforts available at hand. Clean tidy rooms, also suitable for our young children to explore safely.
- Audrey (8/5): Home away from home - Very personal service, and all the little details for making this feel like your own have have been thought of. The house is well cared for, if a little old. But comfortable and cosy. The location isn't ideal being on a main road meaning it's a little noisy, and can't walk anywhere easily. But everything is a very short drive away. Very reasonable price, and family friendly with plenty of extra beds.
- Lee (10/5): - Fabulous place to stay on the Mornington Peninsula.
- Stephen (10/5): Beachwalk Cottage is quiet, comfortable and cosy. - We stayed one night and enjoyed the quiet, comfortable lodgings. It was cool outside, and the cosy heating was appreciated. The carport was great for our three motorcycles. There was no noise at night, and the Cottage was a short ride to cafes for breakfast. We would definitely stay again.
- Ross Family (10/5): Cottage in good location - A very well equipped cottage suitable for short and long stays alike.
An easy drive to Sorrento, Portsea, or back to Rye/Rosebud. Also easy to access other attractions (peninsula hot springs and Point Nepean). Very cosy and comfotable for our one night stay.
We enjoyed a night in with warn heater and easy kitchen/cooking facilities and comfortable beds.
