- Ray (6/5): - Four Stars? Well marble finishes in a tiny bathroom does not make a 4 star hotel! 'Double Room' they must have counted the balcoy in the SF! We literally could not pass each other at the foot of the bed *minus one Hallways - carpet smelled in all the hallways. Looked as old as me and I was born in 1961! *minus one Room carpet, almost as bad - *minus .5 Breakfast was nice, real eggs to orde, so *plus .5 At most 3 stars, but for $365 per night, way overpriced just to have a view of the lake!

- Verified traveler (6/5): One night was plenty - Except for the location which is right next to Lake Como, there is not much reason left to select this hotel. Old, very small rooms (once your suitcase is on the floor - and that’s where it will need to be - you’ll need to hop over it to reach the window), even smaller bathrooms (if you are taller than 1,85m you’ll have a hard time taking a shower). Our room was described as having a “balcony” which was a 30cm wide extension of the window, no room to sit. The carpet in our floor was showing its many decades of use; stains, smells and simply not a place I’d walk barefoot. I wish I could have anything positive to say about the room but I don’t. We paid for 2 nights as booked, but ended up staying only 1. The staff was friendly and the dinner was tasty.

The bathroom was very small my knees were under the sink to sit down. Tv did not work the whole time we were there they tried to fix it but only one channel. The staff more than makes up for any negatives. Parking is 600 yards away but secure

I guess they don’t understand they have jobs because of the guests who visit . I heard property was sold will be renovated in near future . Ladies at breakfast were great !

- Yamilet (10/5): Cute hotel overlooking the lake - The room was small but comfortable with a balcony overlooking the lake which was the highlight of our stay. Bed and pillows were comfi too. But the best part was the people; very nice and attend. We had an electric vehicle which were given a parking adjacent to hotel and we just gave them the key and they will put it to charge. They printed our boarding passes for our return flight. They gave us recommendation where to eat good local food. We had a great time in our 2 nights stay.

Hotel is on the older side but you don’t mind when the staff are so friendly and it fits in with the aesthetics of the lake! You wouldn’t want modern here! Breakfast daily was lovely.

There were dog hairs all over the bed, both on and under the sheets, dead bugs inside the picture frames, and a thick layer of dust covering the top and back of the (non-functioning) refrigerator. The carpet needed vacuuming. There is a hole in the bathroom wall with exposed wires. The entire hotel needs an update and a deep cleaning. It is barely a 3-star. There is no way it deserves a 4-star rating.

- Valerie (10/5): - The view of the lake was beautiful here. It's conveniently located by the dock so we had easy pick up for a boat tour and right by the water taxi. Even though the area was a little busier being by the dock, I didn't find it to be noisy at all. The breakfast was nicely set up and we had delicious options. The staff was friendly and accommodating helping answer our questions about nearby things to do, where to go, and giving an extra N95 mask when we needed one for the water taxi.
- Verified traveler (10/5): amazing views! - Hotel Miralago is in the perfect location, steps from the Cernobbio ferry terminal. We had a gorgeous balcony overlooking the lake. There are some great restaurants in the neighborhood as well just steps away. Breakfast was fantastic as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Of all the cities that we have been to we liked the shopping at Como the best!

The rooms are clean and pleasant with the traditional decor of an Italian hotel that we love. The breakfast was generous and the chef of the restaurant is outstanding. Our one critique was the shower that lacked pressure making it difficult to wash hair.

- Neal (10/5): Lake Como gem In Cernobbio - This hotel In Cernobbio is wonderful. Arrived by boat to this scenic hotel and that set the tone for a great stay on Lake Como. The only thing I would like to see improved is the dated condition of the room. Very old wallpaper and carpet could use a refresh. Helpful staff and location make this a winner.

The rooms were on the smaller side but the views of the water through charming floor to ceiling window with window boxes full of beautiful flowers was awesome. Amenities and cleanliness were very good. We thought breakfast was included but there seemed to be a small fee??? I need to go back and check the bill because the people we were traveling with mention it. Staff was friendly and helpful. The food prices in Harry's, the restaurant right in front of the hotel seem to be out of line with rest of city. All and all Beautiful area and Hotel. I would stay again!

- Gigi (10/5): Room with a view - We stayed in this lakeside hotel in a superior room with 3 balconies and a view directly over Lake Como, which was 20 mtrs away. The hotel staff were very helpful especially with the parking of our car and help with the luggage. Also with information on the ferry services and timetables. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice of both hot and cold food. We would here again when visiting Lake Como.

- Apsara Sisters (10/5): Magical and Delightful! - Hotel Miralago went beyond our expectations. Its old-world charm added an unforeseen depth to our stay on Lake Como. Originally we wanted to stay in Bellagio but were so happy we stayed in Cernobbio instead. It was quieter, less touristy, and everything felt like it slowed down the minute we exited the ferry. The room was small but completely wonderful. The bedding was so comfortable and we breathed a sigh of relief that there was A/C. (Another review stated there was not.) The breakfast was so lovely with more variety than we expected. The food was fresh and delicious. We ate a little later than everyone else and consequently had our own private dining experience! It felt like we were staying in a villa. We loved the staff. Really kind and helpful.

AC is centrally controlled and room was unbearably hot with both windows open. 2 day change/cancellation policy commits you, sight unseen. Staff was rude when we checked out a day early, didn't apologize for the unpleasant experience and demanded full payment. Be aware: Restaurant was closed on Wednesday evening, nearby eaterys require reservations.
- Verified traveler (8/5): amazing location - cernobbio is small and there is not much to do - like most of the little towns around lake como. that said, this is the place to stay if you are in cernobbio. the hotel has an old world charm and is very nice from the outside and in the bar area. the room is very, very, very small. ok if you are stopping briefly for one night while passing through. but spending more than a few hours in it would not be possible. that said, at least there is the option of a room for 4. cernobbio is so small that even finding a place that can host 2+2 people is not easy. so I have to give props to them for at least offering the service. there is no pool or other amenity like that.

But the air conditioning was poor and it was very noisy at night as youths gathered outside the front of the hotel until the early hours and rubbish collection at 6 am. Reception staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast is quite basic.

(6/5): Skip Cernobbio--Stay in Bellagio - The Hotel Miralago is rated as a 4-star establishment, but other than a nice café/restaurant and a view of Lake Como, is has nothing else to distinguish itself from 3-star hotels. Rooms are clean and well-equipped but small, and bathrooms are manageable, though you have to step up to enter. Bathrobes are provided. There was a minor snafu with our reservation, so our initial reception was frosty, which wasn't appreciated after a long drive. Parking, at 15 euro, is several blocks away, and entrance onto the one-lane street is a challenge, with traffic flow governed by a timed light at either end. Breakfast is good, and the restaurant is reasonably priced for the area, though we were still charged 5 euro coperto though we refused the basket of bread. A 10-euro charge is levied for lost room cards. Drinking wine from the two plastic glasses provided, sitting on our balcony while a rock band blasted below wasn't what we expected on Lake Como. Cernobbio itself had little to offer--we couldn't find a grocery store or any decent shopping in the area, and the location is too far removed from the more charming locations further along the lake. In Bellagio, there's much more to do; it has charm, plenty of restaurants for all budgets, shopping, and a good selection of hotels. Miralago can do better, and so can travellers ... stay in Bellagio.
- Peggy (8/5): Lovely experience and location - Hotel is in a perfect location to enjoy Lake Como, is family run, quaint, and has a wonderful restaurant.
- Terese (10/5): Wonderful hotel - Wonderful hotel and wonderful room. the food was delicious. the service was excellent. the décor could use an update to today's designs, but is very comfortable, clean and well kept. Too many silk flower designs around on tables, but it all looks lovely.

- Simo (10/5): Best hotel in Como - Stayed in this amazing hotel once before and I had an amazing stay, this time was even better, from the reception extremly helpful staff to the Restaurant and cleaners they always go the extra mile. Hotel rooms are clean and have all the necessities, Location is perfect.Breakfast is great.
