Guest Reviews
- Mohamad Radhi (4/5): - Middle in townπ
Cleanliness of the bed linens (stains and not proper bed makeup)π
- Arif (2/5): - Not all hotel fault..but the expedia apps is the prob..my booking does not appear at hotel system..
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Keseluruhan bilik memuaskan cuma sarung bantal tidak bersih dan berbau air liur basi. Housekeeping malas buat kerja bilik 505
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great - overall is great
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The room was comfortable and clean and spacious. The surrounding was very quiet
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Near the city..
I book for 1 quenn & 1 single bed...but i get 3 single bed wish they combine become quenn...its soo bad..
- Verified traveler (8/5): - nice and beautiful hotel room. limited parking space, close to main road pose dangerous to car parking and guest.
- Unknown (2/5): - bilik panas, x rasa sejuk. Air condition tidak berfungsi dgn baik.
- Datuk (10/5): - classic concept
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The breakfast is good enough. Affordable with nice nasi lemak.
As for parking, it is hard to improvise since the area have limited parking spaces.
For Tatami w/o rooms, it is better to let the curtain close as the room window facing other room.
- MOHD HASBI (8/5): - Decent place to spend a night or two. Parking facility can be better.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff no so friendly
- Verified traveler (4/5): Too bad - Equipment in the room is so rundown, ie leaking shower, damaged cupboard, broken lamp and phone. Booked a queen size bed, but the bed was made of two single bed combined into one queen bed frame. Cleanliness is poor. Bed sheet is not clean and there's hairs on the bed. No service to clean the room the next day. Overall, a bad experience staying.
- Chris (4/5): - room door needed to be upgraded and change. 4 days i was there, 3 different room change due to spoiled room door lock system. the hotel also need pest control as i encounter cockroaches crawling especially at night.
- Mohd (6/5): - The frontliner staff should be more friendly and welcoming when assiting guest.
- zul (8/5): close to iium - I choose this hotel because it is close to IIUM and breakfast available
- Farah (8/5): - Everything was ok.. Just that during night there is thunderstorm n the wind pass through the window make it sound like whistle and its really annoying when its in the middle of the night. The hotel should check their windows
The room too dim difficult to apply make up
- Qilams (8/5): - The facilities as describe in the details. Its such a nice stay for vacation or trip.π
- tg mohd rafie (2/5): POOR - ROOM IS NOT THE SAME AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE RECENTLY. A LOT DIFFERENCE. FAMILY ROOMS ARE ONLY ADD BED BUT AN AREA OF THE ROOM IS NOT ADDED. ITS SMALL FOR FAMILY ROOM.
- Verified traveler (6/5): No breakfast provided - i booked this hotel because breakfast is provided but during check in the staff only informed that breakfast was not available.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room is ok. Near to town but parking is not readily available nearby the hotel. Breakfast options are quite limited.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - nice hotel but yet the breakfast doesn't have many menu. and the bathroom door doesn;t have lock.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Arena batik hotel is good - Nice and cormfortable.....
- Khalis (6/5): Budget - Ok for 1 night stay. All good an clean except little dusty on the floor, especially at the corner of the room.
- Gelayang (4/5): Looks great just on the web. - The hotel room picture on the web is not same as the actual situation.
Elevators is quite frightening because of several times experiencing a strong vibration.
- Devi (10/5): - Staff s responsible. N de room small so bad. Is a smoke small.
- ary (4/5): Nice decorated hotel but without proper maintenan - The lift kept stucked while we are using it. Giving shock to my wife. When reported to front desk they just kept quiet. Overall hotel can be seen that it is lack of upkeep
- LEONG (8/5): Good and Convenience. - Very convenience . Next to hotel is a chinese restaurant and across the road also another restaurant in which very suit for family dinner. Not far away is ECM and Kuantan mall is opening soon.
- MOHAMAD (8/5): Not spacious - Really nice room but little space
- zarina (6/5): Middle of town - The hotel is in the center of the town. Easy to go to the shopping complexes and also tanjung lumpur and also teluk cempedak.
- Harjeet (6/5): Bad breakfast and below expectations room - Breakfast options are extremely limited if you are a non-malaysian. Even for a local malay, I think having Nasi Lemak, Mee-Hoon and poached eggs besides bread and butter is very limited options in my humble opinion. For people not used to eating Mee-Hoon or Nasi Lemak in the morning, I am afraid you will have to survive with only toasted bread with butter.
Contrary to the breakfast, the room was not too bad. Except that we had a leaky ceiling which was dripping water throughout the night and a bathroom door which was designed to not lock. I mean come on, who doesn't put a locking mechanism on a bathroom door.
- Nik Nor Azman (4/5): Significant Improvement Needed - Arrived at 3.40pm. When finally reached my room at 4pm, tired but was surprised to see the door room was wide opened. Apparently the room was not yet cleaned! I was given another room but about 10 minutes, again was ushered to another room. However I was given an upgraded room. Thanks. Sadly I discovered that no towels in my room and need to request again!
There were no dedicated parking provided by the hotel. I got fined for not paying the parking fee, and it was Saturday!
However the staff were very friendly & helpful.
- Mohd Hafiq (2/5): Think twice - Not recommended for someone who want comfortable night. service soo bad. room conditio. not so good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - - nice bathroom
- comfort room
- very supportif staff
- azam (8/5): Nice hotel close to the town - Suit for those who look for lowest rate hotel in the town
- Ain (8/5): Convenient and Comfortable - I initially booked a Tatami room but was upgraded to a Honeymoon suite, for which I was not complaining.
- Verified traveler (6/5): avarage stay - Evarage on all parts....
- Jack (6/5): Just for simple accomodation - Room is small, wifi connection is weak, insufficient food and very basic meal for breakfast (eventually no meat, just a blank nasi lemak with cucumber and fried egg). Lift only able to load approx. 6 person including children.
- ummu 'audah (6/5): Perfect for bajet holiday.. - This is the 2nd time for us to check in at arenaa batik.
The hotel easy to find. Breakfast provided just simple dishes but still worth with the amount that we've paid.
Iron, praying mat, kettle & cup..among the important item that i need whenever going for holiday; we can get it here easily in the room.
So i was satisfied and probably arenaa batik will be our 1st choice everytime we went to kuantan. :)
- Verified traveler (4/5): Old hotel that need renovation - Near to roadside, noisy & uncomfortable sleep. Used coffee bags do not refill and the rubbish do not cleaned up. Room is too small for the family room that I have booked.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Overall not very good....poor room service....some time forgot to change new towels....
- Umi W (6/5): Ok - The good thing is the breakfast is good but for toilet room, not so clean, in the room no place to hang cloth, no border to put away shoes because need space to pray.
the sink not smoothly flow.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Just ok - No drinking water in my room and the electric plug in the room is broke!
- Verified traveler (4/5): a room for improvement - i was stayed in a standard room. the room was smaller than what i saw in the hotel website. not suitable for business trip. dont really favor the 'romantic' lighting. the toilet was dirty. the bedsheets wasn't that clean as i still can see the stains. the decorations was nice. breakfast also ok for that standard room rates. however don't expect super-fast wifi internet connection.
- Hafiz (6/5): Beautiful room - My stay was comfortable with beautiful deco.. Love to stay again. But the hotel did not provide any Kiblat direction and Im sure every hotel or motel or homestay in Malaysia must be equipped with Kiblat direction. Overall the stay was great!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Small and near to city centre - When there for anniversary.
Good:-
1. Small but unique design
2. Near to place of interest
Bad
1. No flower on bed as in the picture for honeymoon suite
2. Noisy as we were given 2nd floor
3. Combined 2 single bed for honeymoon suite
4. TV channel dont have HBO as standard hotel
5. Parking limited
6. Toilet cannot lock
P/S : Never get fooled by the picture.
Conclusion :Recommended for cheap and unique hotel. Not recommend if you want to stay in hotel room.
Room Tip: Higher floors are quieter, Room at the back are quieter
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good B&B in central Kuala Lumpur - The B&B is situated in the "Golden Triangle" area in Kuala Lumpur. There are many restaurants and bars nearby.
The room was very clean and comfortable. There's no separation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom other than a curtain, so the floor does get wet. We received a bar of soap but no shampoo.
Breakfast was minimalistic but it sufficed.
Overall we had a nice stay.
- Mazlan (8/5): - Parking space problem...
- Shazhatul (10/5): The best hotel in town - The hotel was so unique. And the workers are very helpful.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Hmmm - Neighborhood - OK since near to everything else. I don't give good score because of the parking space. No reserve parking space and it's almost impossible to found parking near the hotel place.
Room comfort - bad since on the day that we stayed, no water supply because got some big pipe in the city burst. But I thought this is a Hotel. Wondering why they didn't have water tank or something.
Room cleanliness - hmmm well..at least it's clean..
Hotel condition - the lobby is cool..
Hotel service - why do I have to be the one asking on refill of the food during breakfast?
Overall - there are a lot of other hotels nearby..will try other hotel..definitely..this hotel will our last choice after this >.<
