Staff was friendly and responsive. Beds were good. Pillows somewhat more to be desired, and pool was closed (even though advertised as year round). Assuming that was because they didnt want a bunch of dirty people taking a bath init!

There were nice touches to give the feel of a Montana lodge while remaining simplistic. We didn't have much time to stay but were recommended local dinner and breakfast spots by the staff. The location is great for proximity to town. Would stay again!

• Edith (4/5): Locatie mooi, leuk dorp, bed goed, de rest voelt alsof ik bestolen ben. - De kamer was redelijk schoon en het bed was goed. De kamer is oud en aftands. Verder is er veel onduidelijkheid ontstaan over de prijs van de kamer. Ik heb op de site van booking de kamer voor $175 inclusief tax geboekt. Ik heb moeten afrekenen $206. Dat komt omdat er een extra faciliteit tax wordt gerekend van $30. Niemand kan, ook booking niet, uitleggen waarvoor deze tax is. Sterker zoals dit meestal gebeurd, leggen booking en het Timber Motel de schuld bij elkaar. En als ik dan ga afwegen of het Timber Motel de prijs kwaliteit waard is, dan zou ik hier heel snel voorbij rijden en naar iets anders gaan zoeken.

• Ramona (6/5): - Older and fairly clean. Found a dirty hand towel & the coffee maker was a kettle type and had a white layer of what looked like calcium deposits in the bottom so we didn't use it. Beds were clean & comfy. Outdoor pool was clean, but the hot tub had tree debris in it from the tree above it. Should be covered between uses. We stayed end of September and was still pricey at $160 per night. Will not ever stay there again at those rates.

• Daniel (8/5): - Very typical motel, two stories, rooms that face the parking lot, no breakfast or 24-hour reception. A nice pool and very friendly staff. But the rooms are worn and older, thankfully the beds are comfortable. For a short stay it’s fine. I probably wouldn’t return for my next stay in Bigfork. Needs a remodel and new amenities, too many things in disrepair, old and beaten down. Daily maid service which is rare these days, but appreciated, just not much they can do to clean the place without a major overhaul first.

No general amenities in the room like an iron or hair dryer. Pool looked clean and inviting. The a/c gave the room a damp musty smell which irritated my lungs by morning. Overall it’s over priced for what you get. Maybe a last resort option.

• Michelle (9/5): Lovely 2 night stay - Room was very spacious for our family of 4. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Microwave, fridge and kettle was nice to have in the room. I didn't mind the instant coffee, was actually decent coffee. They provide brewed coffee and tea at the office. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Loved this hotel. It was quiet and appreciate they spread out the guests throughout so we weren't side by side. Not sure if the walls are thin. I would stay here again. Room and bathroom were clean but it didn't seem like they vaccummed. There were crumbs along the bed and in the closet area.

• Lacey Bubnash (8/5): - Friendly and thoughtful staff, the room was simple but clean. The kids loved the pool and meeting dogs in the pet area. Towels were noticeably thick and high quality for a motor lodge. The price was good for the Flathead Valley, but still seems quite high for a straightforward motor lodge. The location is across the highway from central Big Fork so you can't really walk anywhere (safely).

• States (7/5): - One of the beds was a bit lumpy. The AC was quite loud, and a neighbor's dog barked now and then. Otherwise, the room was clean, comfortable, and very nice.

The only issue was parking.. it seems there is always not enough room and they wanted us to park across the busy highway which I personally couldn’t do because of the steep hill and my bad knee. I hope there’s other options by next summer. But still one of my favorite places in the summer for a fun Bigfork/ Flathead lake stay. Beds are super comfy and clean and love the sauna and super deep pool. ( and the fun lights )

• Rhonda (10/5): Cute little motel! - This was a nice and clean motel. It’s obviously an older place but well maintained and updated. I loved the outdoor pool and hot tub. We only dealt with one staff member who checked us in and she was great, very friendly and welcoming and provided me with directions to get to the lake for a swim. There was a bunch of leaves and stuff in the hot tub but that will happen with a bunch of large tree around the property.
