• Karen (10/5): - The room was clean, large, and very comfortable. The pools were nice, the staff were helpful and arranged laundry cleaning for us on short notice, and the location was beautiful. Breakfast was also good and started at 0730.
• Ortrun (4/5): A very unpleasant experience - The hotel is less than a 10-minute drive from the stunning archaeological site of Sagalassos, set in beautiful mountain scenery. With luck, this could be a pleasant hotel. After 10 minutes in my room, I noticed that lots of swallows kept almost crashing into the window, it was quite frightening. Inspecting the balcony, I found two swallows nests at the top of the balcony. The man at Reception was obviously put out when I requested a change of room. No apology for what was surely a known problem. Walking into the "new" room, I immediately noticed a strong acrid smell of stale cigarette smoke. When I mentioned this, I was told the hotel was no-smoking. Both members of staff at the reception desk had only rudimentary English, making it impossible to explain politely that this was unacceptable. So, I spent two nights in a room that was quite clearly reserved for smokers. The smell was awful. There was a small notice in the furthest corner of the room "Thank you for not smoking". Ha, ha. Pre-season, the hotel was virtually empty, so there can't have been a shortage of no-smoking rooms available. The room was utterly unacceptable. But what proof do I have that the room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke?

• Tom (8/5): Spectacular setting adjacent a 2000 yr old city. Friendly staff + sauna and pool. - I came by as a halfway stop on a drive down from Cappadocia (7 hrs) to the coast (Antalya is a couple more hours away). The Lodge is just 4km from the ancient city of Sagalossos, which proved spectacular, and worth the trip. I was tired after my long drive and the Lodge has both an indoor and an outdoor pool (both a good size), and a sauna -- which they fired up for me. It was the perfect way to unwind, followed by a very good dinner in their restaurant. (The breakfast buffet was also excellent.) As for the staff, they were exceptionally nice -- although unlike elsewhere in my travels through Turkey, not a lot of English fluency here.

Abendessen und Frühstück waren lecker und reichhaltig. Der Wellnessbereich mit Innenpool, Hamam und Sauna sind sehr gepflegt und sauber. Der Raum bei der Bar mit brennendem Kaminfeuer ist recht gemütlich und ebenfalls aussichtsreich. Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer war unseres Erachtens stellenweise zweifelhaft. Möglicherweise würde ein Ersatz der Spannteppiche durch einen pflegeleichteren Bodenbelag die Situation erheblich verbessern.

Ruime kamer met een prima bed en goede douche. Ontbijt viel wat tegen (was ivm weinig mensen ook geen buffet). Niets.

Приехали вдвоем на выходные, т.к. погода в Анталье была прохладная и дождливая и этот отель оказался как нельзя лучше 👍 Расположение в горах гарантирует чистый воздух, в самом отеле очень чисто и тепло, кондиционер в номере очень мощный 👍 Кроме того в номере есть всё необходимое, включая халаты, тапочки, воду, чайник и пр. Также в ванной теплые полы и полотенцесушитель! Большую часть времени мы провели в спа зоне. Отличный чистый бассейн, шикарный хамам и в меру теплая сауна. 3 часа мы там были одни, т к в январе туристов почти нет 😊 Утром перед завтраком даже воспользовались беговой дорожкой 👍Персонал отель максимально дружелюбный. Все! Всё объяснили, показали, не беспокоили, но всегда были на связи и готовы помочь. Вечером очень уютно посидеть в баре возле живого огня в камине 😍 Рядом есть много мест погулять и подышать горным воздухом. В феврале отель закрывается на месяц, поэтому январь - идеальное время для посещения если хотите уюта и уединения!

The location has a nice, peaceful atmosphere. The entire spa area was closed due to renovation. This should have been communicated before the booking. We were very disappointed, as the spa was the main reason why we chose this hotel for a two-night stay. There was no alternative spa facility available nearby.

• Rachel (10/5): Comfortable hotel for exploring Salagassos ruins - Excellent hotel for exploring the nearby Sagalassos ruins - spacious rooms with incredible views of the surrounding mountains, great lounge with a fire place. Great breakfast with lots of variety. It’s designed for big tour groups but in November, we practically found the place to ourselves with few other travelers and really enjoyed its peaceful ambience. Thank you!
• Maureen (7/5): Excellent location for visiting Sagalossos. - Because it was the end of season, the restaurant only had a buffet for dinner which was disappointing although the food was fine. I am just not a fan of buffets. The views from my room was lovely and its proximity to Sagalossos was a bonus. One of the reasons, I chose this hotel was because of its spa. I had checked before I book and there were "green checkmarks" beside all the listed amenities. However, when we got there, the spa was closed and it was not possible to get a massage or anything else that had been listed as available. I understand it is the end of the season but it would have been appropriate to note that many of the services on the website would not be available.

Tout était très bien ! Nous regrettons de ne pas avoir prévu de rester un jour de plus.

• Lucinda (10/5): An amazing stay at a lovely hotel. - My husband and I stayed for two nights and absolutely loved the Sagalassos Lodge and Spa. The room was super comfortable, the staff were all lovely, friendly, helpful, and professional, and the food was exceptionally good. The facilities are excellent, the pools are both lovely and the spa is amazing. What stood out as well was the informal and relaxed atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they went out of their way to help. We didn’t have a car so they very kindly gave us lifts to Sagalassos (which is a whole other amazing experience) as well as to the bus on our last morning. A truly exceptional experience that was also very reasonably priced.

Sicuramente raccomandabile. Buono il ristorante ottima la colazione. Solo una o due persone in grado di parlare almeno in inglese e a volte un po' distratte. Buon ristorante e ottimi prodotti, peccato si sia passati da un servizio alla carta ad un servizio self service non al livello dell'albergo.

• riccardo (9/5): Relax - I servizi di piscina (1 coperta e una esterna) molto apprezzata e il bagno turco anche locali puliti e personale gentile. Posto molto tranquillo per riposarsi un paio di giorni dopo i vari tour. Esternamente non molto curato, cornicioni rovinati e molti nidi di rondine, caratteristici, ma che sporcano molto i balconi.

• Axel (10/5): Highly recommended hotel in scenic setting, close to the (greatly underrated) Sagalassos site. - Hotel in lovely setting, 10 minute drive from the archaeological site (which is highly underrated and one of the most scenic and dramatic ones in Turkey - we spent over three hours there!) with a nice, big, empty pool, spa services and its own restaurant. To top it all off the staff and manager made us feel welcome. nothing

Wir haben den Shuttleservice zum Gipfel von Sagalassos sehr geschätzt. Danke für den Hinweis auf das Museum in Burdur, das wichtige Funde aus Sagalassos zeigt. Absolut empfehlenswert.

• Andrianna (9/5): Great place to end our very long day of traveling and driving through Central Turkey. - The staff was friendly and helpful. They made every attempt to be helpful during our brief stay. They had a bar and buffet dinner which was wonderful after a long day of traveling. Nothing. We only stayed one night so it was brief.
• Francisco (9/5): Great stay near Sagalassos. - Good hotel, with great facilities: two pools, spa and great breakfast. The staff was amazing, very kind especially Mehmet always ready to help. The location is good, very close to Sagalassos Ancient city, and very peaceful. The indoor pool was not heated.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing oasis in the mountains - So good I would live here year-round if I could! The Sagalassos Lodge & Spa is so magical, I don't understand why it isn't booked up constantly. Visit now while it is still a hidden gem. The property is so beautiful. The building is large and spacious, with plenty of places to relax. The pool deck is especially pleasant. The spa area was amazing, too - hamam, sauna, and indoor pool. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working when we visited, but everything else was great. Our room was very comfortable with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. They also had a pack n' play crib for our toddler! The restaurant on-site serves a truly amazing breakfast spread, as well as delicious dinner choices. They also have a good selection of Turkish wines. Finally, the service was truly top-notch. Everyone was so friendly and you can tell they really care about providing an excellent experience. We loved our stay and would very gladly return.

A perfect place to renew. - Sagalassos Lodge and Spa is set in the Taurus Mountains with magnificent panoramic vistas in all directions. The air was cool and clear and this is a very special place. The facilities are excellent and well maintained and we took full advantage of the pools and sauna. The breakfasts (included) are substantial and sumptuous. We had dinner at the hotel every night because it was so tasty and good value. The staff were particularly friendly and attentive. This has been the best hotel on our 3 month tour If I was picky the only complaint was we needed to ask to have the room made up on one occasion

• Shigeru (10/5): Calm clean and tasty - Cleanliness and the food, supreme! The hotel owner mentioned the place is like a paradise. I couldn't deny it. With even higher altitude than the town, the view, cooler temperature, and calmness was super.
