• Peggy (10/5): A real gem, highly recommend - Exceptionally clean, bright, and comfortable. Easy to spot several recent upgrades. The small refrigerator and microwave are a big plus. Other great reviews were what made the choice for us and they were right. Absolutely nothing we didn't like. The beds are very comfortable, the furniture is new and sturdy ' something not usually found in a motel. It felt very safe and secure.

• Damon (1/5): The most ignorant owners I ever met - My daughter and I are homeless and I paid in advance for our stay. We were denied our room as our uber driver had their dog with them. Refund took a week to process and we were forced to pay a lot more than expected at another hotel. The business owner was very ignorant and rude.

• Andrea (9/5): - The room was a good size and very clean. The heating unit worked well so we were nice and warm. The small fridge and folding table were very useful as we were travelling with some food for the following day. We arrived slightly after check-out closed due to poor weather and bad road conditions during our travels. Staff were very accommodating of our late arrival. We stayed at the motel less than 12 hours (basically we just slept there enroute to a sports tournament early the next morning) but we slept well. Whilte the motel on a highway, we were not bothered by highway noise. The motel was not far from a Tim Horton's for the next morning. Everything was great. A shampoo/conditioner/bodywash dispenser in the shower is always handy to have and could be a good future addition.

• Susan (10/5): - I prefer small motels over chain hotels and Robyn's motel was very clean, updated bathrooms and comfortable beds. It was perfectly located on our way to Quebec and close to town which was very convenient for dinner and getting some essentials for our trip. We ate at One Eyed Jack for dinner and had one of my best meals ever. (Spicy Sausage Pasta) We stayed a 2nd night on our way home and had breakfast at Ellie's Diner. Excellent breakfast and friendliest service!! Peterborough was a very friendly and welcoming town! Not a thing!!

• Linda (10/5): - Robyn's was a very good place to sleep, travelling from Guelph to the Ottawa Valley. It is set back from the highway and offered less traffic noises. There was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. Our room was renovated, large and very clean.

• Shannon (10/5): Excellent, great value for your money - I was able to secure a last-minute booking at this excellent little motel located on Highway 7. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious with a fantastic shower. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. There was also a nice-sized table with chairs, along with a microwave and mini-fridge, which would be great for an extended stay. The room was dated, but the owner is renovating it; it didn't interfere with the comfort of the room, and our rate reflected this.

They are wonderful people.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Friendliness and Cleanliness 10 out of 10! - It's an older motel thats been been remodeled but this is reflected in the price! The owner was very friendly and helpful. The air conditioner and bar fridge worked great! It was a heat wave during our 5 day stay! It has a walk in shower that's important for my husband as he has mobility issues. Our only suggestion would be the inclusion of grab bars in the shower.
• Margaret (8/5): - The room was very nice the only problem I had was they had put in showers and when taking a shower it was very slippery and I had a fall. My left side is still badly bruised and when I told them I fell all they said was "Do you want some ice?" They didn't offer even a small discount on the room for the incident. Other than that when I returned for the second stay they had purchased rubber mats for the shower. They are very nice people and I don't want to cause any problems for them. I had booked both time spans on line but for the sceond one they charged me $45 extra and stated it was because I had booked on line but they didn't charge me that for the first stay just a couple of days before that, I didn't know what to say dso I just paid it.
