• Pinkham (4/5): - Staff was nice. Easy walk to downtown. No Beach! The listing says private beach, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, and beach towels. This is NOT true. None of it!

• Megan (1/5): Do not stay here - Nothing The room was filthy the towels were dirty and even the replacement towels were dirty. The bed was hard the bathroom had mold and the fridge had a bad odor. The pictures were extremely deceiving the hotel rooms do not look anything like them.

• Brenda (3/5): It was quiet, but definitely not as nice as pictures showed. - Location was okay The room was humid; woke up with frizzy hair. Bathroom door in terrible condition, would not close. Coffee maker kept tripping the breaker. There were no outdoor lights in area(Room 104). The bottom of my feet were black after walking on the floors. We didn’t get a receipt, and were charged for the total room rate and $50 hold.

• JODI (1/5): Horrible - There was no breakfast at this location. There was no TV working. We advised the front desk and was told that everyone was gone. We did not have TV for our stay. I would not have stayed at any hotel that did not provide a working TV. They did not offer any compensation for the inconvenience. They could have offered another room that had a working TV. We did find out that the maintenance person lived across the street and could have come back to fix it.
• Subasavage (10/5): Diana was very welcoming. The Firepit Pizza was great! - Location was perfect. My grandson played baseball at a field close by. I even came back to the hotel for a rest between games. No breakfast

Also the restaurant and staff were friendly. The bathroom was uncomfortable. The door didnt shut properly & the fan was really loud. But the bed & tv were great.
• de la Cruz (5/5): Comfortable beds, pet friendly - The beds were comfortable, the staff were kind, friendly and helpful and the location was close to downtown and nearby to Nags Head. We were able to bring our pets for a reasonable fee for our vacation. The property looks very dated from the outside. Landscaping was inconsistent, the bathrooms are very small and the overall size of the room to fit 2 queen beds was very small. The pictures of the hotel from booking sites look better than the actual property so they were misleading.

Location was perfect for bikers to take off directly from the hotel to discover Manteo.Hotel is older, although we were put in a newer renovated section which was roomy and ok. But you can tell by walking around that it has been let go in some corners and sections😔 The bathtub was VERY slippery.. a rub or anti- skid matt would be necessary. Washroom fan noise was TERRIBLE and unbearable...something that is easiy fixed

• Cheryl (9/5): The accommodations are conveniently located near the lovely, old historic district of Manteo. - I really appreciated the staff- the person who checked us in at arrival was different than who was there when we checked out. Both were fantastic staff members- friendly, engaging, and helpful. The bed was comfortable and clean as was our room.

We love the location - Staff was very friendly, and they allowed us to stay in the same room when we had to book a second night last minute, due to a road closure (HWY 12) The pool was dirty - looked like mold/algae on the bottom of it A breakfast option (something light like a free continental grab and go style offering) would be appreciated!

We did not stay there and left after seeing the room. Booking.com reversed charges. Thank you Booking.com Did not look safe or clean. We left immediately. It would have been okay if they put us on the building they advertised but the building to the far back of the property down a cart patch was an F property and I have never said that about anything in the US. Looked and felt like a 3rd world country.

It showed the main building, which appeared to be decent, but we was put at the very back of the property, in a old building where people was living out of the rooms. Very shady at best. We did not feel safe at all. We had to spend one night because we couldn't find any other place, but the next morning even though we booked two night we left and found another place to stay. I will be calling this company to try to see if I can get a refund for the second night because we was badly mislead by this company

• PENNY (4/5): The front desk person was extremely rude and actually took care of a customer that came in after me before she finished - It was close to people that we were visiting I was charged almost the same price of the room for my 4 lb dog. When I booked the room there was no mention of a $50 fee for my dog. There was a hotel just down the street that did not charge me and that is where I will stay from now on

• Foster (5/5): - We stayed in 401 for 5 days, the woman who was next door and apparently living there had 5 different me in and out of the room all night and were still partying at 6am the day we left. There were different men in and out all week, mostly all on bicycles, we couldn’t wait to leave. Pay attention to what’s going on right under your nose. It’s blatantly obvious.

• kelly (10/5): Highly recommend and will stay there again - This was my first time staying in Manteo when visiting Outer Banks but truthfully it is not far from Nags Head, just a short drive. Everything you could want is in Manteo...restaurants, shops and grocery stores. The price was excellent and cheaper than KDH or NH. They allow pets and have one of the best pet fees around. No complaints

• grandpa jake (7/5): Birthday weekend. - Easy check in, comfy bed, nice high shower and toilet. Had an elevator, morning coffee was very good. Convenient to everything Manteo has to offer. Tiny difficult to use toilet and shower. Whatever that thing is under the bed to keep stuff from rolling under it. Annoying banging whenever you even sit on the bed. No light over the sink.
