• Hayley (9/5): what a great resort break in the middle of our trip! - Breakfast was amazing, the pool areas were beautiful and the rooms lovely. Customer service was awesome. The showers in the rooms were exceptional The rooms were a bit noisy, we could hear people noise throughout the night maybe from above. We also felt the resturant (the one in the breakfast room) wasn't great, meals were bland and also not very well balanced compared to the excellent food in the rest of vietnam.

• Marcelina (6/5): Nice resort but poorly managed - The location was great and rooms were really nice. It was clean and pretty. I paid for half board for 2 adults and 2 children, yet the staff repeatedly insisted that the meals only applied to the adults. We were actually told that our children should either sit and watch us eat or share our own food with them, which was completely unacceptable and honestly absurd for a family booking. It took almost two days to resolve this issue, causing unnecessary stress during our holiday. What made the situation even more frustrating was that although the hotel was far from busy, the exact same staff members kept asking us every single day for our room number and whether we had half board. We used the same restaurant throughout our 5-day stay, and there were usually only one or two other occupied tables, so there was absolutely no reason for this constant confusion and repeated questioning. The whole experience felt unprofessional, poorly managed, and very disappointing for a hotel claiming to offer family-friendly service.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Personal: Alle Mitarbeiter waren unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und jeder Wunsch wurde uns mit einem Lächeln erfüllt. Ein weiteres echtes Highlight war das Frühstück: • Riesige Auswahl: Das Buffet war sehr reichhaltig und bot für jeden Geschmack etwas. • Abwechslung: Besonders toll fanden wir, dass das Angebot jeden Tag variiert wurde. Es wurde nie langweilig, da es ständig neue Köstlichkeiten zu entdecken gab. Die Kombination aus dem tollen Service und der hohen Qualität der Verpflegung hat unseren Urlaub perfekt gemacht. Wir kommen definitiv gerne wieder!

• SanTriHa (7/5): - Eine traumhafte Anlage, geschmackvolle Zimmer und fantastische Pools. Hier lässt sich eigentlich ein wunderbarer Urlaub verbringen! Ich hätte gerne mehr als 7 Punkte gegeben, leider gab es jedoch einige Kleinigkeiten, die störend waren. Zwar bietet das Frühstück eine große Auswahl, geschmacklich ist vieles jedoch eher mittelmäßig. Zimmerservice und Rezeption sind in Ordnung, lassen für ein 5-Sterne-Resort allerdings zu wünschen übrig. Der Kids Club wird von den Kindern durchaus genutzt, wenngleich das Spielzeug uralt und der ansonsten wunderschönen Anlage nicht würdig ist. Da man in diesem großen Resort letztlich nur eine Nummer von vielen ist, sollte man nicht die gleiche Herzlichkeit wie in kleineren Hotels in Vietnam erwarten.
• John (8/5): Would definitely stay again - The Beachfront was first class and property was a great location Upon checkout we received a bill even though we hadn’t booked up anything and it was revealed someone was giving our room number to purchase things so they need to tighten up on that but it was quickly resolved by the girl at reception .
• davidliu14 (10/5): Affordable beachfront resort - Beachfront resort with newly refurbished hotel room. Spacious room and big premise to roam around. Kids were very happy to chill at the beach and it was lovely. Hotel has a kids play room but more suited for younger kids. Breakfast is amazing with loads of choices. Hotel is not far from Hoi An and about 45 mins from Ba Na Hills. It's not too remote and just nice for the peace and quiet.
• Andrew (6/5): Disappointed really, rather underwhelming but so was Da Nang. - The resort provides everything you need, but that's the problem. You can't walk out (road or beach) and find local bars, cafes or restaurants so you're restricted unless you take a Grab in to Da Nang is and that has its challenges. Therefore if you stay in the cost increases substantially, though Vietnam generally is not expensive. Trying to get your room cleaned was a nightmare. We were told cleaning starts at 9am. Sometimes we'd come back at 4pm and still not cleaned, then the cleaners turned up and we had to turn them away. An idea would be to make in-resort clients' rooms cleaned between 09:00 - 13:00?

• 802gailc (8/5): Peaceful Beachfront Setting & Friendly Staff - We arrived as part of a tour organised by Unique Tours and, having not chosen the hotel ourselves, were impressed. Hotel is in a beautiful beach setting with well-maintained landscaped gardens and wonderful staff. We decided to take advantage of an offer to upgrade to their Level experience (private lounge with refreshments, private check-in/out, private pool, bungalow accommodation nearer the beach, some private dining options) and were then booked into a beachside bungalow. Although this accommodation was very spacious I found it a little dark and was not keen on the ground level outdoor shower. This was just personal preference and not a reflection on the property. That said, on arriving at our bungalow we did have to ask for the hot water to be turned on and for a phone to be installed as it was missing however both issues were speedily addressed and resolved. It did appear that perhaps the room had been prepared in a hurry (hence 4* review). We decided to speak to Uyen in the Level private lounge about the possibility of moving to a room in one of the main buildings. She was extremely helpful and efficient and within half an hour we were in what we felt was much more suitable accommodation for us with an inside shower and a spotless, bright bedroom. A huge thanks to Uyen and her professional, reassuring manner! Later the management sent a personal note, cakes and fruit to the room by way of apology for any inconvenience and a discount was also applied to our account. The staff at the resort deserve special mention for their friendliness. We felt the dining options were good and convenient as we just wanted to chill at the beach. Thanks to everyone at Melia Danang Beach Resort and especially to Uyen and her colleagues in the Level lounge.

The property is beautiful with a private beach, amazing beach views, and well-maintained swimming pools that made the experience very relaxing and enjoyable. The ambiance and location were definitely the highlights of our stay. However, the vegetarian food options were very limited, especially during breakfast. Because of the lack of variety, we didn’t feel that booking the room with breakfast included was worth it for vegetarians. Apart from that, the resort itself was excellent and we really enjoyed the stay.

The property is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly maintained, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with excellent amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable. What truly stood out was the staff. Every member of the team was extremely polite, helpful, and genuinely warm. They went out of their way to assist us with everything, including arranging cars on time whenever we needed them, which made traveling with a big family very smooth. The breakfast was good with a nice variety of options, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. However, the location was quite poor as it is far away from most attractions and activities. In hindsight, I didn’t do enough research before booking, and I would probably choose a different hotel next time for a more convenient location.

• 450adb (10/5): Excellent Vibes - Pure joy on the team’s heartfelt hospitality. We were greeted with their native Vietnamese charms at every contact point. Whatever the request we’d made, had been delivered gracefully and efficiently throughout our stays. We went to celebrate my dad’s 93rd birthday- and he was so impressed with the warm welcome he’d received everyday. Though managed by the young team, their wills to learn, to serve and to deliver such holistic hospitality were on the same par with any of the world’s luxury 5 stars hotel. My sincere thanks to Ryan (FOH Manager); Jine (The Level Reception) and Dunc (Gaia’s Barman), whom had made significant inputs to ensure that our needs and memorable experiences were met impeccably. We’ll definitely revisit Melia Beach Resort on our next trip to Vietnam.
• Gav6367 (8/5): Good quality beachfront hotel - This is a good value beachfront hotel in Da Nang. The Staff are all excellent and very helpful. Good room service. The breakfast buffet has a good choice of cereals, pastries, hot buffet, yoghurts and fruit, though no sparkling wine. The Pools are pristine as is the beach and the hotel boasts a wide stretch of beach. There were a couple of days over Easter (hotel was busy) were there weren't enough sun beds so we had to have beanbags under an umbrella. We booked a sea view room with balcony but on arrival there were no balcony chairs or table (we like to have a drink at sunset on the balcony) Reception provided 2 chairs but we were told that we couldn't have a table! I noticed that the rooms on The Level all had balcony tables which was a bit annoying. We had a couple of meals at the hotel's beachfront restaurant and these were both very good, especially the Seafood buffet. Also the afternoon Sangria and nibbles are very nice. For the rest of the stay we eat out at local restaurants-there's not too much choice right opposite the hotel (Tip-turn RIGHT coming out the hotel and walk 400 yards to the traffic lights as it's far safer to cross the road). We got cheap Grab cabs to Da Nang which offers a huge choice of restaurants. Overall i would recommend the Melia as a good quality beachfront hotel offering good value

• 769theab (10/5): Sublime from start to finish - We spent 15 days here during our honeymoon, and this place has been truly amazing from start to finish. We stayed in the level villas, and were put in the upper level closest to the beach. This place is beautiful, calm, and has everything you need. The restaurants are great, with options for both asian and western options. We loved the Cape Nao restaurant, which has a sea view towards Son Tra mountains and lady buddha. A beautiful view during sunset and by dark! With the level villas we had access to complementary afternoon tea, which had different food options every day. The hotel is maybe 20 minutes away from the city centre, and was easy to go to and from by taxi. All the staff we met were so nice, and always made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend staying here if ever in Da Nang!

• Zahra (6/5): - Property was very large and spacious. This however made it difficult to find where all facilities where and made the resort feel very quiet and dead. Cleanliness overall can be improved. Multiple times during room service we were given stained robes and towels. At the end of our stay we asked for a scale which was given to us with dirty oil marks over it. The pool facilities were okay and decently sized. The buffet breakfast is very average, good variety but lacks freshness in some dishes. Definitely not 5 star resort level. Additionally, very small gym that was constantly crowded with few machines that were very old and definitely need servicing.

• Harrison Quentin (10/5): Amazing Resort - Very impressive resort with everything you could ask for. The room was large, well airconditioned and the bed was super comfortable. Staff were friendly and eager to help. Buffet breakfast was fantastic and had many options for vegetarians. The location was good, right near the Marble Mountains and also easy to grab into the main town and other nearby sites. The beach side had plenty of activities and comfortable sunbeds and photo spots. The infinity pool was large and well placed right near the beachside. The gym was on the small side, but did the job.

Not too far from the main beach but a shuttle s - Good clean facilities, nice pools and staff were friendly Too many tour groups so didn’t feel as private. Breakfast buffet was a huge spread but it seemed like they emphasised quantity over quality

• Hayley (7/5): A nice place just needs a little love - We liked the pools . The room product worked well for us as a family of 4 - we had the connecting rooms. We liked the level bonuses such as the drinks all day / cookies and evening drinks . Pool staff were very nice and helpful especially with the kids using their amenities The property itself is extremely tired looking - definitely needs some TLC. The Spanish restaurant on the beach was great food but again it needs some love as looks closed . The outside space needs some work . The middle beach club was strange and out of place .. The location wasn’t ideal but grabs are cheap so that’s depending on what you are looking for

Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet eine große Auswahl an asiatischen und europäischen Leckereien mit toller Qualität. Die Lage war für uns perfekt. Außerhalb der Stadt, sehr ruhig zum entspannen. Marble Mountains sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig

Så føles som halvpension med morgenmad og frokost - helt perfekt At der var lidt langt at køre til alt men det vidste Viborg meget nemt med GRAB og billigt så ik et problem
• Natsumi (10/5): 幼い子連れのダナン、ここのホテルで良かった♡ - フロントに日本語が上手な男性スタッフがいました。ダナンでは珍しく、日本語の敬語が上手で、しかも説明が丁寧で、さわやかで、子どもたちにも、優しくしてくれました。彼がいなければこんなに快適に過ごすことはできなかったでしょう。ありがとうございました。 施設内が広く、フロントからバギーでプールや海、キッズスペースまで連れてってくれます。それが楽というより、楽しかったです。 また、帰国が深夜便であったため、無料で18時レイトチェックアウトにしてもらえました。幼い子どもがいるため、とても助かりました。 あと、ビーチに子どもが遊ぶためののお砂場セットが用意されていました。子どもがとても喜びました。 ザ・レベルに最終日グレードアップしたためか、ラウンジ利用等の特典について説明がありませんでした。またホームページにラウンジ利用について詳細を載せておいてほしいです。

• klee88 (8/5): Hit and miss, overall a great stay. Needs come TLC - On arrival the building and grounds look impressive, room was clean, comfortable bed. However we found it lacked no atmosphere, there’s lots of signs about activity’s, football, etc but we never saw a single staff member doing any activity apart from the kids club for young children. We were booked at half board, we had the choice of lunch or dinner every day, between two restaurants. We found the food in the Mediterranean restaurant to be poor quality and sadly it’s the same menu you can order from with limited options. It’s the same menu for lunch and dinner, a menu with smaller lunch options would be better than the same thing every day… we ended up just having a starter for lunch and then eating out in the evenings, we were put off going again after I found several black hairs in my food, (we are blonde) service was also sooo slow in the restaurants. There were only about 3/4 tables yet it took a while to get someone to come sort the bill every time. The Asian restaurant food was lovely but again same menu lunch and dinner with limited options for those with meal plans, and the food took 45 minutes to arrive. It’s definitely more of a 3/4 star then 5, you have to remember it is Vietnam not Dubai for example so not the same standard or service. All staff were polite and presentable expect for the younger boys who worked at the pool bar near the family pool. They had white tunics on which were stained brown with dirt and fruit, I noticed they were the same stains each day. The hotel should ensure staff are clean and presentable when serving customers. We did overall enjoy our stay, the guys around the pool doing the towels were great fun and nice to chat too! There didn’t seem to be too many guests at the start, The first night there was event in our building in the basement which was playing pounding music until late, then again on the beach the next day an another event with loud music, then a wedding, then a Japanese sports event on the beach with a man shouting on the mic for ages. Not the most relaxing en, it did seem like they were more focused on events than the hotel guests. Location was good for us inbetween da nag and Hoi an so got to explore both very easily.

If I could rate the staff an 11/10 I would, from reception, restaurant, spa housekeeping and pool everyone was extremely friendly, and made our stay memorable. A big rhank you to everyone! Nil
