The location is excellent, close to the very heart of the city, while the room itself was spotless and the bed exceptionally comfortable. Highly recommended for a short stay in Toronto.

Also, the room includes some useful items such as: towels, a mini fridge, and a hair dryer. The place is close to good bars, restaurants, and convenience stores. I totally recommend it for short stays in Toronto. Just a recommendation about the bathroom. The door was heavy, which could be a problem for people with disabilities.

The location is perfect, right in the entertainment district and walking distance to everything. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Honestly, nothing. It exceeded expectations!

• Fabienne (9/5): Wirklich tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis - Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, um Einiges zu Fuss erreichen zu können. Das Zimmer war sehr grosszügig und sauber und viel schöner als das Hotel von aussen vermuten lässt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Zugang zum Hotel mi einem Türcode gibt einem für Nachts ein noch sichereres Gefühl. Das Angebot in der Hotel-App passte uns gut. Im Zimmer gab es ein, zwei Mängel, die reparaturbedürftig waren. Aber nichts schlimmes, was uns eingeschränkt hätte.
• Tom (2/5): Uncomfortable stay - The location is probably the only highlight. Before arriving, I was getting plenty of unnecessary emails. Getting into room feels like being criminal as one needs to go through a tedious process of ID and face verification. The room is extremely noisy from outside trafic. Doors into the bathroom are really heavy and hard to open. There were black hairs on a bathtub wall from previous customer. The wifi password contains symbols I barely know where to find on the keyboard, making it annoying to type. Lastly, they have ignored (or missed) my message request for days. I would discourage anyone from booking this hotel, it is not worth the price.
• Raphaela (10/5): Super Hotel in Downtown Toronto - Das Hotel ist perfekt gelegen in Downtown Toronto. Der Zugang beim Eingang und zum Zimmer erfolgt mit einem Code. Es hat auch ein Gym, das ebenfalls mit dem Code betreten werden kann. Das Zimmer war gross, sauber und modern und das Bett sehr bequem. Es hatte einen kleinen Kühlschrank, eine Kaffeemaschine, einen Teekocher, viele Ablagemöglichkeiten, einen Schrank, ein Bügelbrett und Bügeleisen, viele Spiegel, ein grosses Waschbecken etc. Es ist ein bisschen laut, man hört sowohl die Strasse als auch andere Gäste auf dem Gang. Aber in einer Grossstadt habe ich damit gerechnet und trotzdem sehr gut geschlafen. Es stehen auch Ohropax und eine White Noise Soundmaschine zur Verfügung. Am Abreisetag kann man sein Gepäck in der Lobby in einem kostenlosen Schliessfach aufbewahren. Das Badezimmer hat schon ein bisschen abgewohnt gewirkt, es gab einige unschöne Stellen bei den Platten oder unter dem Waschbecken. Die Funktionalität war aber nicht beeinträchtigt. Auch war der Duschvorhang war zu kurz.

We liked the " low touch" model and would stay with Sonder again. Bathrooms are a bit too "design over function" but that's a taste issue.

Beautiful bathroom but not very practical. Nowhere to hang towels and no room by the sink for makeup bag or toiletries. The tub was very deep…hard to get in and out of without slipping.

Não dá para avaliar o pessoal pois ele e tipo Airbnb, ou seja, entrada com senha e sem interferência de qualquer pessoa. Informação antecipada de que existia estacionamento mas na verdade eles são públicos e pagos (aproximadamente CAD 30,00 por dia). Para pessoas nao antenadas a fazer tudo on-line nao recomendo pois todo acesso é via senhas e enviadas ao e-mail ou celular.

• Karinne (8/5): Very comfortable stay, great location but beware of the bathtubs (fall risk) - The location is perfect! The rooms were clean and cozy. The bathroom was the only concerning thing. The bathtub in the room I stayed is a fall risk. It has no traction nor any rails for someone to hold themselves to get in or out of the bathtub. Each time I took a bath/shower, I held on to dear life trying not to fall/trip getting out of the bathtub.

I have literally been plagued with messages for weeks in the run up to the stay and then after. The messages are confusing. I would suggest you stop this as it actually took away from the stay.

We really appreciated the free luggage storage on site since our flight home wasn't until 5pm. We loved the taco & sushi bar right next to Sonder (The Haam). It was excellent. Trying to use the app to get assistance. We needed some supplies like TP, coffee, towels, etc since we were there 4 days.

We were informed that there was daily 'refresh' service to change towels and empty garbage ... oh, except at this location. When we finally reached someone by 'chat' we were informed that daily service, while available, was not available at this location. Also it had to be requested. I requested it and they said that the app had to be downloaded and requested on that. Why for one night do we add another app? When I asked for a number to speak with someone to make arrangements I was informed that there was only a general number to call Site service was virtually non-existent. If we wanted this experience we would book an Airbnb....this is a hotel after all.

• Ben (9/5): Good location, comfortable and well-priced. - Great location, comfortable and sizeable room and had everything that we needed. We had a small issue on our first morning with the shower not draining properly but after a quick and short conversation with a member of the team through the app all was sorted whilst we were out exploring - including providing additional towels. I would note that the Sonder is not a traditional hotel (closer to a home rental) and so guests should expect this! The location was noisy on one night but nothing that stopped our sleep. We could also hear when the room below us moved their blinds which was a bit spooky but didn't happen too often.

Short walk from union station, close to the ball park and transit, etc. The area is probably for the younger crowd - noisy every evening with bars and night clubs just below you and with trucks and coming and going at all hours of the night. We are in our mid-50s and not in the "scene" anymore - Lol... Ask of a room in the back of the building or a higher floor may help with noise. Had problems with the mobile key working and not working, but I think they had some of their staff working the front area during the day.

• Nicole (8/5): Close to everything, clean and comfortable. Amazing tub!!! - Clean, central location to everything we wanted to see and do. The coffee maker wasn’t easy to figure out at first, and a small fridge would be nice as I don’t enjoy coffee whitener.
• Ada (8/5): Very good - Location: right in the commercial area, close to a lot of nice eateries and restaurants Room: overall is comfortable, as pictures shown Luggage storage: pre-check in and post-check out self-serve, very convenient Staff: although non-staffed, response via app chat is fairly efficient (even on a Sunday) View: nice street view Bathroom: if you want to shower without wetting your hair, I doubt even shower caps will do the job because the shower head is installed on the ceiling. I can't find the switch for the ventilation fan. Privacy: need to shut the curtains because it is just opposite to an office building with people working Air con: because of the full height glass window, it could be a little greenhouse during the day if curtains are drawn but quite cool at night
• Susan (9/5): Superb - Jerome checked us in because I hadn't download the App.yet. super friendly and helpful The shower was so slippery I had to put down a towel. Adjusting the shower hot water was terrible. Almost couldn't be done.
