Guest Reviews
- Logan (10/5): - The reception staff were incredible! They went out of their way to work with me. Incredible service!
- WILLIAM (10/5): - LIKED THE SIZE OF THE ROOM,VERY CLEAN, FLAWLESS CHECK IN. GOOD PRICE FOR THE MONEY$, WILL STAY THERE AGAIN!!
- suzanne (10/5): - Very cute, very small room. Pull out couch for extra 2 people not in greastest shape but doable. Good room for just 2 people. Secure access to buliding. Shared laundry with 1 washer 2 dryers. About 1/4-1/2 mile walk to beach but its a beautiful stroll. Office has beach and pool towels! We loved it, but the room is definitely a tight fit for even just 3 people.
- Ryan (6/5): - It was clean at first look. The first morning I woke up and there was one alive roach and bugs we saw. We notified the front desk who was understanding, they sprayed the same day. It is a common problem in FL but there were many crevices that needed to be sealed. As well as food crumbs right under the kitchen cabinets where the baseboards are, even a bottle cap which should be noticeable when cleaning. I kept the lights on while we slept since roaches are nocturnal and I simply wanted to defer them.
Also, the pool is quite small. There was a moderate size family that took over most of the pool chairs and more sadly even the pool.
Overall, the stay was enjoyable as we were there for only a few days and made the most of it! The front desk ladies are very kind. The location is close enough to lots of restaurants and stores. The best part was the lack of beach goers compared to surrounding areas.
- Launa (10/5): - Lovely room and could see the ocean. Very cute and cleN
- Brent (8/5): - Good experience and stay
- A5762JWtracys (8/5): Very nice condo - This was a very nice place right on the beach. Rooms are very clean and staff very friendly. Nice pool and hot top. I really liked the fact they had a special wheelchair that would allow people in wheelchair to be able to get to the beach. This was free with no charge. The only fall back is if you run out of toilet paper after the office closes at 5, you would need to go buy your own. Would stay here again.
- Robin (8/5): Good hotel - The hotel was fine. Great location. You do have to walk a little ways to get to the beach, but it wasn’t bad.
- Gail (10/5): - Nice stay. Friendly staff. Right on beach. Great view
- DOUGLAS (6/5): - Office not open after 5pm, no towel exchanges, you have to wash your own. Nice pool area. Property is oceanfront but it is a long way to the beach!! Property next door is condemned and is an eyesore from your balcony.
- Nicolas (10/5): - Everything was great.
- Melissa (10/5): - We had such a nice time. The property suited our needs perfectly. Not one thing to complain about. We look forward to rebooking!
- Theresa (10/5): - Nice area for walking to restaurants or taking the trolley. Staff was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay there again next year!
- Mark (10/5): - Liked everything
- Luke (10/5): - Great place
- Martin (10/5): Perfect location, friendly staff. - Location is perfect, room is clean and well maintained. sofa bed mattresses could use a refresh but condo has everything you need for a pleasant stay!
- Janet (6/5): - The receptionist Colleen was very unprofessional and upset myself and my husband very much. She call my mobile phone and harassed me for a credit card for the housekeeping fee. My husband had gone down earlier to pay this fee but she came to work late and wasn’t at her desk.. Never again.
- Karen (8/5): - Loved the family environment and sense of safety.
The pull out couch was in bad condition. It would be nice to offer some light foam cushoning if it cannot be upgraded. Overall a very nice stay.
- Kristina (10/5): - Great time
- Lisa (6/5): - The property was very clean and parking was very convenient. Staff was extremely nice and accommodating.
It was a bit of a walk to the beach, it’s not bad but not right on the beach. The room smelled like cleaner/mold. The air conditioner was very loud! Bed was hard.
- Kristen (10/5): - We had an amazing stay for the location, family atmosphere, and view from balcony of the beach. Only one complaint, the bed was very hard, other than that we would love to return next year!
- william (10/5): - a little far to the beach
- Michele (8/5): - The property is nice. The room was a little small but clean. Everyone was very nice. The description however for the room I stayed in said partial ocean view room. There was no ocean view at all. AND yes it has beach access but you have to walk FAR through beach sand which is very tiring.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Meh. - Good location on the beach, though no real view from our one window (in the kitchen). Ample parking. The office closes at 5pm, and our flight arrived late, but thankfully they left our key in the late arrivals box. Unfortunately, the key didn’t open the main Late Arrivals door, so we had to wander the property late at night to find an access point. The room was snug, but had everything we needed. The updated bath was pretty nice, but only soap and towels were provided. You have to bring your own shampoo and lotion. Neighbors were noisy in the AM (thin walls?), so bring ear plugs. The bed was fine, and the updated bath was nice. The lobby and halls smell like cigarette smoke. Finally, there is an ester a $90 cleaning fee, but you’ll end up doing much of the work if you follow the checkout procedure. You are to take all your trash to the chute, strip your bed, put all used linens in the center of the floor, and run the dishwasher. Doesn’t seem right.
- Fastcars1963 (10/5): Fall beach trip - Wanted a place on the beach with a view that did not break the bank. This was nice place clean but older. We enjoyed being on the beach during sunset every night. We are close to other eating places and the the beach walkway next to the beach made walking nice.
- Seaside293534 (4/5): Disappointing trip! - The unit was dated. The bed needs a new mattress and the sofa couch sank in to an uncomfortable level. Between the 2 it gave us terrible lower back aches. No view of the gulf from our unit either! Didn't even use the balcony cause kids were shouting in the pool below til 11pm and the view was the sky rise across the alley. Silverware had to be washed as there was dried on food deposits. Won't stay here again! We left early.
- 501marilenag (10/5): Great trip will be returning - Great location not a 5 star resort but very good for the value. Would recommend to any travelers very clean , and amenities are outstandin
g great bbq pit area. Also very good restaurants in area.boadwalk is very convenient you can walk to many bars and restaurants. Beach is beautiful and well kept ask the attends on beach they are very helpful
- Sam (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay and the only thing that could change is the bed. My husbands back hurt after sleeping on it. But otherwise all was very nice and clean. Pool was great. We did go when the kids were back in school so it wasn't overcrowded. Beach access was great. Nice efficiency. Didn't use anything. But if the stay was longer I would have.
- ewath0mas0n (10/5): Great resort - Great place, great location. Walking distance to the beach. Most unites face the beach. Small swimming pools, outside tennis table and grills. Unit was very clean. Full kitchen. Free coffee, and beach towels.
- ansnewhampshire (10/5): A Treasure Island Gem! - The Voyager has proven to be a real find. While the resort is definitely older, the kitchen and bathrooms have recently been updated, to now include a full stove and refrigerator. The location is just plain wonderful! The beach and dunes go on forever! Best of all is the wonderful staff...always service with a smile! We hope to return.
- RMG766 (6/5): Good location on Treasure Island - Resort was built in 1970's but has been updated. Unit was decent but beds are hard. They don't do towel exchange so you need to bring detergent to wash your own. Free washer and dryers are available but not on every floor. One washing machine and two dryers were on the floor below us. With everyone vying for them, it was difficult to get laundry done. However the location of the resort was good and amenities were decent. About a half mile walk to Publix and some good restaurants. Kitchen had much of what you need but no salt and pepper shakers. We didn't rent a car, got some walking in. Many of the guests were owners and seemed happy with the Voyager. Sunsets on the beach were amazing.
- Becky (8/5): - It is close to the Shake Shop lol
The beds were very uncomfortable. Loved the bathroom!
- petersA5246UK (8/5): A great place to enjoy the beach. - I have traded in here for over 20 years and became an owner about 15 years ago. I come here from PA for the beach. I would pay 5 times as much for the same type of place in NJ or MD.
Love it here both in th summer and late fall.
- nangefv (10/5): Voyager Beach Club Happy Vistor - We have enjoyed the Voyager Beach Hotel and surrounding areas for many years. The hotel room has separate bedroom area with closets, Sofa bed, chair tv shared with the kitchen area equipped with refrigerator, cabinets. And dishwasher area opens out to a balcony to enjoy . Also a free laundry is available Beautiful beach, convenient to shopping and Johns Pass for Douphin Tour’s, fishing, shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff is always pleasant and helpful. We enjoy the outside pool are at the hotel too, barbecue area available for your use. Well hope someday you are able to enjoy a vacation which includes the Voyager Beach Club and surrounding area,
- lindahU6438XS (8/5): Very nice place - We have been coming here for years. It is quiet for the most part and not far from the beach - a little walk to get to the water but not bad. It is near just about everything. Many good restaurants nearby.
- Yelena (10/5): - We have really enjoyed our stay! Will be back.
- Lisa (10/5): - Loved our stay! Right on beach. Beautiful!
- Director7x (10/5): A Restful Tme - Great place to relax and enjoy the Suncoast. Lots of activity and great restaurants all around. The beach is fantastic and very large. Colorful and beautiful sunsets can usually be viewed from the Treasure Island Beach.
- Joy (10/5): - We were very happy with everything at Voyager. The hotel & staff were perfect for us. Clean , safe area, with an amazing staff. Continental breakfast would have been nice. We will definitely recommend Voyager Beach Club.
- Miguel c (10/5): - Beach front, comfortable
- AnnEIndiana (10/5): Perfect! - A great place to stay! I exchanged into a one bedroom. Very comfortable furnishings and kitchen had all needed to prepare a meal. Ice machine and grills available. Pool was nice. Make sure you have flips/shoes to walk on the decking…HOT! Voyager does provide pool towels. Check in/out was a breeze; all staff was so helpful and friendly. My first time as a “solo” traveler and I felt safe! The beach is a manageable hike; heavenly once situated! I would definitely stay here again!
- CAAdams53 (10/5): Nicely upgraded and perfectly located! - We love staying here. The rooms have been recently updated. It is always well maintained. So clean. Nice to have a full kitchen and grills down by the pool area if you want to cook. Beautiful beach location. They have 3 laundry rooms that can be used for free. Just need to buy your own soap from front desk.
- Kash (10/5): - We loved everything about this property! Room very clean and excellent, the pool was extremely clean! Walking distance to most everything including the beach! There was nothing I dislike about this place and Will recommend it to everyone!
- hreim517 (10/5): Great getaway - Very unique building, very clean and great location. Parking was included and convenient. The bathroom was recently renovated and was a great size. The check in and check out was easy. Will definitely stay here again!
- Bradley (10/5): - The room was very clean. We loved the view and location. We will go back.
- thomas (10/5): - Nice and clean!!
- randolphb2021 (10/5): A great, clean, basic place to stay on the beach - This vintage condo building (with most units on time-share) has been maintained well, is kept immaculately, is situated in a great spot by the beach, has wonderful off-street parking, and offer comfortable accommodations.
The room arrangement and the angles of the walls took some time to get used to, but soon it was feeling like home! The bedroom (this was a 1 bedroom unit) offered a very comfortable queen bed, an amazing amount of closet space (2 big closets, a wet vanity area, many drawers, ample counter space, good lighting, and a quiet ceiling fan. The main room had a couch and single chair, coffee table, a good TV with many channels; the connected kitchen area was well stocked with house-sized appliances and lots of counter space; a breakfast bar with stools was convenient.
Off the living room is the pleasant balcony with great views of the Gulf (at least on our side on the fifth floor) outfitted with a small table and two balcony chairs.
The bathroom offered good lighting, a single sink but with great counter space; a commode; decent linen closet; and a very nice walk-in shower.
Would we stay there again - most definitely!
Only suggestion: a few small pillows for lounging on the couch.
And did I mention how clean it was!!!!
- ronu484 (10/5): Great Beach Getaway on the Gulf - Great location, parking away from the street and sidewalk, great staff with all the answers or help needed. Had extra activities for all ages, games, ping pong, pool and hot tub after the sandy beach, even mid afternoon stops from the ice cream truck that our young greandsons LOVED....their 1st experience.
- Andrea (6/5): - Property was ok, but a little worn down. Loved the location on the beach, but it was hard to keep the room a good temperature, and the beds were minimal in comfort and provisions. Pull out couch had thinnest of mattresses- not suitable for anyone except small children.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice getaway - Stayed for 5 nights, easy check-in/check-out. Pool was closed for repairs but had use of pool next door, no complaints, actually more sun.
- Q8924XLrickj (10/5): Loved our Visit - Our unit was clean. The unit was perfect for two people. We only had a partial view of the gulf, but just loved sitting on the balcony each morning to do my devotions. Loved the location. We walked down to John's Pass everyday. We walked the beach every morning.
- Emily (8/5): - Positives: on the beach, access to bbq, quiet, nice safe area, not far from several attractions.
Negatives: bedroom make over needed, comfortable bed needed, AC didn't work in first unit although we got moved to a unit where it did work, hot water was sporadic.
- 216LP216 (6/5): Time share trade - We traded on interval International to the voyagers beach club. We were looking for something close to home but at the beach. The area is great for a walkable vacation.
My complaint is the area is very noisy from the street. The units have been some what updated. We were on the second floor right above the pool and it was very noisy from those enjoying the pool area. Our neighbors up above us were so noisy tromping across the floor and dragging things from early morning. We complained once and nothing was done about it.
It’s an OK place but not one that we will be returning to.
- Vlad (10/5): Awesome place - Very nice and clean. Friendly stuff. Absolutely everything was in the room, dishes, pots, soap, dishwasher, dishwasher detergent!!!! We enjoyed our stay!
- coconutgrovemike (4/5): Birthday disappointment - Upon arriving to the room, at first glance it was a very nice room. After going back downstairs to retrieve the last of my bags and returning to the room is when I realized that the room reeked of cigarette smoke. Even though there are signs of no smoking. After contacting the front desk they brought up some type of a fan machine and the gentleman change the filter in the room. Mind you, this room and others had just been remodeled recently. And for the next three nights I got to enjoy the smell of what an ashtray smells like constantly. I doubt very much I would stay there again.
- airedalemom7 (10/5): Loved the beach location! Great place to stay! - We had a one bedroom condo with a balcony with a partial view of the ocean. Although small, there was lots of room for storage and had two large closets. It was very clean and had recently been updated. Great beach location and very friendly staff. The pool was small but nice. We hope to return!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Other than the fact that our balcony sat directly overlooking the pool, this was a wonderful facility. But because of the pool, we couldnt enjoy our balcony at night. We heard everything going on at the pool, and everyone at the pool could hear our conversation.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This property was super clean. I walked in smelled a clean bleach smell.. the staff was extremely helpful. The stay was very comfortable. Felt like home
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good view of the Gulf from my end room though partially blocked by another hotel, very clean room, kitchen was handy so I didn't have to eat out every meal, very comfy bed, nice pool though in shade first half of the day, free on-site parking, easy check-in, only 15 minute walk to John's Pass with many outdoor restaurants and shops, excellent ice cream shop right next door, and finally the beach is amazing and IMO the best beach on the west coast of Florida though be warned it is a huge beach and takes a long walk to actually reach the water
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean, nice and friendly, close to the beach and restaurants.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great front desk staff. Very welcoming. Awesome pool/grill area. Loved the room setup and decor. Very family oriented.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I love the rooms and and the kitchen. I loved the updated bathoom. Very clean and comfortable. I would've preferred a higher room because we were right over the pool, but we did have the bigger balcony which was nice
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nic property, enjoyed staying there , on the Beach Treasure Island
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Bed was just a full size. Very small couch. Very clean but very small unit
- Mark (8/5): Spring break family stay - The staff was awesome, the room was small, but clean. We didn't ever get any hot water to wash dishes, but overall, a fine time. The pool was great for the kids!
- Michelle (10/5): Great vacation - This was a really nice place ....we usally stay nexted door at residence inn...price was to much and found this place at the last minute....was really impressed with the place ....beach is right out your door ...restaurants and convenient store in walking distance .....will definitely stay here again .....loved the place .
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Convenience to the beach. Cost for room was reasonable. Free laundry and free gym. Pool open late and easy parking. Room was well equipped with what we needed for a week's stay.
- Donald (8/5): Great beach getaway - Great little resort with family atmosphere. We will stay there again. Love the hot tub & access to the beach. The room was nice & newly renovated.
- Hannah (10/5): - Overall great experience! The receptionist at the front desk went above and beyond to help answer questions and make sure if there was anything we needed, she would let us know where we could find it.
- Keith (10/5): Great place for families - Very nice place for an affordable rate. A quick walk to the beach. The pool, hot tub, grill and outdoor game area was all nice and well maintained. Staff was very friendly.
- Connie (10/5): Peaceful - It was really a neat place 😊
- Verified traveler (2/5): Stay somewhere else!!! - The pictures were nothing like the actual condo, it smelled like mildew, the a/c was broken, it was filthy and the front desk staff were extremely rude. They charge $110 for cleaning fee when I ended up cleaning it when I got there.
- Angela (8/5): Treasure Island. - Nice place but I was not expecting it to be so far back from the water.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It was very dated and needed lots of work in unit. There was a mold smell throughout unit. The air conditioner stopped working in middle of night - it was 90 degrees. Sand fleas were all in the unit causing all of us to be up all night itching with flea bites. When asked for a refund they said only the two nights that we did not stay but, would not give us refund for the night we did stay there and then miscalculated the refund.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - There was roof repairs going on and we were on the top floor. Also the floors of the unit needed to be washed. We found a mop and washed them ourselves. Otherwise all was good.
- Daphne (8/5): Great bargain. - For the price this was perfect. Great location so close to the beach. Room is pretty outdated but provided for everything we needed or wanted. The little pool was also great for us.
- Bernie (8/5): Bed comfort.. - Sofa bed only issue we had.....too many coils felt on mattress..needs to be replaced...didn't have the heart to put my grandson on it.. he slept in our bed for three nights..bathrooms need to be updated...everything else was great....location could not have been better...safe and secure establishment!!!!!
- Debbie (8/5): - Great location quite and family friendly
- Verified traveler (8/5): Put this on your short list - Accommodations were adequate but somewhat cramped. 4 adults would have been challenging.
Convertible couch needed a better mattress. Sliding glass door kept coming off the track. Handle to the microwave was broken at the bottom and difficult to open. Light switches in weird places. Staff was reluctant to give us individual pool towels. On the plus side, the pool was nice and part of it was always in the shade, so that you could avoid being cooked. Lots of toys for kids to play with and toilets at the pool area. Nice gazebo and 3 gas grills! Great access to the ocean. Be sure to buy a pop-up shelter ($15 at Aldi). Paved walkway on the ocean side for pleasant evening walks. Shake Shack next door. Bring your own condiments and spices in addition to food and plastic storage containers.
