• Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location and size. Love the big mirrors. Not very sound proof as next to a church which bells go off constantly and on a noisy street. Decent amenities for a short stay although no toiletries
• Feargus (10/5): neat, very central, nicely presented - Requested early check in, got no promise for possibility except indication of ‘priority’ in preparation – official time 4pm, key was there for us and apartment all set at 1pm. Friendly manner on contact by phone both days before arrival and morning of checking out, clear communications and fair flexibility. Cozy apartment, smaller than others in photos shown on site, but very well warmed, tidily equipped and ample for our purpose.
• Kathy (10/5): Great location!!! - Getting the key wasn't difficult even though it was a few blocks away from the actual apartment. The most inconvenient thing was paying to park a half mile away and dragging our luggage through a busy part of Dublin. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable and was very secure. The kitchen was stocked with items to cook with but not a spice or coffee in sight to at least help our a little bit. Not too horrible though since there was a great coffee shop nearby. The heat worked amazingly and we needed it because it was a chilly and windy night. You could feel the breeze coming in through the windows a bit so we just turned the heat up a bit more to compensate.
• Robert (2/5): A terrible experience, thankfully just one night. - Due to what we were told, "area wide low water pressure", there was no water in the toilet and you could not take a shower. It appeared to be a lovely condo in an old building, but without those basics the place should not have been rented to us. A repairman showed up that we had to wait for and he wrapped some electrical tape around the faucet to seal it. He thought maybe there was a vapor lock. He left and that was the end of it. They were unable to provide us with alternative arrangements so we got on the plane the next day, my apologies to the other passengers.

• Adam (6/5): okay - Found that the apartments that I had thought I was getting in the pictures at booking are defo not what we got .. altho it was okay beds were comfortable and spacious.. location was okay Bit far from we’re u collect keys but directions explain how to get there okay.. the man we collected keys from was quite rude as we cudnt get into building to drop keys back he wasnt best pleased and said omg the code is in ur email in quite a sarcastic and cheeky manner.. even tho he was sitting watching us in camera he cud have got up sooner and opened door as we were trying for about 10 mins to get in. Customer service cud have been better..
• Ken (4/5): - The Pictures look much nicer. Not a family spot. Shower was broken but also very dirty. Walls need a paint job badly. It reaked of smoke and booze so bad I almost vomited. TV did not work. The whole lockbox on another alley was a nightmare to figure out and I ended up wandering around at 2am to drop the keys before our flight and it was closed. That area at 2am is very sketchy. If the shower button wasn’t obviously broken before we checked in I would be less mad. If your going with your buds to party, it’s a great location! Area is beautiful in the early evening around Christmas.

• Shane (2/5): - When we arrived, we initially had trouble finding the location to pick up the key. Even the taxi driver said that he'd never had this experience before. He couldn't find the location either. It took a while and I ended up having to get out and run up and down a few blocks to find it. It was easier than driving on those roads. Eventually I found it but this again raised a red flag with me. The streets where filled with garbage, broken glass, etc. Clearly there was a party the night before. It was a bit finding the apartment after getting the key. I ended up (again) just running down a corridor and finding it. The taxi driver was clearly concerned about our safety as well & said so. With all the garbage lying around, I could understand why. We grabbed our luggage and made our way to the apartment from the taxi. We had to walk around garbage, glass, and someone sleeping in the street near our front door. After entering my daughter said "It smells like a dog" & my wife said "that smells like urine". Once in we discovered that there was no toilet paper in the entire apartment, no roll to put it on. It was very run down and we didn't feel very secure. We quickly discovered a bug on the bed in the "master bedroom". We decided to book elsewhere and I called and emailed the company but they've refused to provide any refund of any kind. I took pictures and video of the bad conditions but they don't care. DON'T BOOK HERE
• Verified traveler (4/5): - Didn’t realize this property was going to be so old there wasn’t even an elevator so we had to hike 5 flights with suitcases. Also back up to the loudest alley in the city...my friends on cow lane ended up in a much new and better kept building.

• AmelinaDeTroi (6/5): - The location is great - right in the middle of The Temple Bar. The problem was that we had a car and it is not a car friendly part of the city - we had to walk 10 minutes with the heavy suitcases from Parking to the apartment. The checkin process is quite complicated and there was nobody to help with the process. The apartment is spacious. The mirror in the bathroom was broken and put down on the floor. We did not sleep well because it was noisy.

• Erin (4/5): dont do it. - it was wildly inconvenient - I had to call Ireland from the US and while I was traveling in order to give my credit card info over the phone this doesn't seem secure and really difficult to accommodate this process, never got confirmation email with details about check in until after we checked in. I had called at least 4 times with not only no answer and an outgoing message that said the mailbox was full and unable to take a message. you have to pick up the keys at another location, which let me say with two aging parents, all their luggage, in the pouring rain, in a city we are unfamiliar with, add the stress of driving (on the other side of the road no less) and trying to navigate what is essentially a pedestrian area was wildly challenging. I do not recommend this system for check ins. The apartment is self was al title less then average with a considerable number of flies when we arrived at the apartment. there are no fans to circulate the hot summer air. the towels were terrible. the location is really noisy with bar revelers late into the night.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Gone downhill - I've stayed at key collection properties for the last several years. Since they first came into Dublin, and started buying/remodeling all the old apartment buildings in citi centre. I've stayed in dozens of the key collection's properties, as I have had to travel to Dublin 6-8 times a year, for the last 5 years. When I first started staying, with the key collection properties, it was fantastic!! This most recent trip was not the same. I stayed at two separate properties this trip. Both with the same result. Horrid customer service. (WHEN they could be reached) Or, completely non existent. No help at all. The local offices are all closed down, (or give the impression of) no assistance is given. I was informed we can NOT stow bags with them any longer. Which leaves tourists, lugging their bags through Temple Bar, from 8-10am (typical international flight arrival times in Dublin) until EXACTLY 4pm. when they put the keys in the lock boxes. I was actually yelled at (by the one staff member I actually did encounter) for trying to help other tourists, whom they were turning away, with a place to have their luggage held. This was hands down the WORST example of Irish hospitality I have ever seen. My clients, (being only their 2nd time out of the country) were horrified. PLEASE, DO NOT judge the rest of the wonderful people In Ireland, based on the experience you may have, at the key collection's properties. This is such a sad thing to see happen to such great little properties!
• Erin (2/5): Dirtiest place I’ve ever seen. - Absolutely terrible. We were given faulty directions, had to carry our luggage over a mile to get to the actual apartment. The apartment was filthy, smelly, and in terrible condition. Beds were dirty, hair in the shower, general disrepair. A call to hotels.com - who in turn called the management of the apartment- did nothing. There was no way I could allow my family to stay there, so we swallowed the money and left for cleaner accommodations. Disappointing and disgusting.
• Jennifer (6/5): Not truly Temple Bar - This place had some real positives, including being very close to Dublin Castle/Christs Church and there were lots of great restaurants within a block. It was very clean, though the floors and walls could use some touch ups. The office staff was very pleasant and the one time I called the office for something that was missing they brought it within 15 minutes. Our place even had a small balcony. Though the bedrooms were small (as is typical in any city), there was plenty of space in the apartment for our family of four and my dad. BUT a couple of things to keep in mind, especially if you are traveling with kids or coming off of international travel (both of which we were). First the office is @4-5 city blocks from the apartment. The parking garage is 2 small blocks from the apartment, but in the opposite direction from the office. Technically the apartment is in the very outskirts of Temple Bar but if you’re expecting to be in the heart of it, you’re a good 4-5 blocks out. The bonus is it’s quieter but the negative is being further from the Temple Bar/Trinity/Grafton Street area. I paid more for this place thinking that’s where we’d be and could have paid 20% less for another place that turned out to be right around the corner that correctly labels itself as being in the Christs Church area.
• Rhonda (8/5): - The apartment was closer to the check in office Than I thought, which was nice. It was clean and as expected. Two issues came up during our stay, the sliding door in the living area wouldn’t open or fully close. ( the bedroom window wouldn’t close) and there wasn’t a hair dryer in the unit.
• Verified traveler (2/5): The Key Collection difficult to work with - Booked this accommodation weeks in advance and received notice of a double booking the day before check-in while traveling through Europe. The double booking was refunded to me and wording on the notice stated that I was not staying at this property. I booked another place but was not given a refund on the original booking. Management was unwilling to admit fault on any of the mix-up and would not refund my booking. Be careful if you use this group at the Key collection. They are very difficult to work with.

Shower tiles separated from the floor. Main bed extremely hard. Crappy pillows. Bottom line: Cheapish, so that's good. Temple Bar location, if you're into that (we were). Not a fun place to just hang out. If the bed was better, could be a decent crash pad, not much else

Offered to take bag but we are pretty healthy. Loved our accommodate. Wish we stayed more than 2 days though we saw allot on foot.

• Joann (10/5): In the heart of the action! - Great service, beautiful apartment. At the end of the temple bar...far enough not to hear the crowds, but close enough to the action (literally a 2 min walk)

My 22 year old thought is was fine, my husband and I were horrified. Could not shower and run any other water, or there was no pressure. Every time you flushed the toilet it sounded like a heard of elephants, this lasted for several minutes. The draws in the bedrooms were half broken. The carpet felt damp and was in horrible condition. I immediately told them that it was not as advertised, their response was that the advertised picture was a depiction. My response was that they didn’t communicate that it would be far worse. Maybe some of their other apartments are better. Do not stay in Music Hall apatertments. We showed up on st Patty’s and the next morning there was vomit in the lobby. Consider yourself warned! I live in New York so I am quite familiar with city apartments, this was not good.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Ok but more care needed... - Great location. The fully furnished description left a lot to be desired, no tea towels nor oven gloves and the utensils were basic. The staff didn’t seem to be briefed on the apartment nor did they offer any help with baggage. The location was brilliant but sadly noisy as the glazing in the windows was poor... I was asked why is didn’t mention this during the stay but we were on holiday and shouldn’t need to!

This time though the apartment was in the centre of Temple Bar hence very noisy at night. Bars were collecting glass bottles at 2am in the morning and that was very noisy and woke us all up.

• Ruthann (6/5): Air BNB style apartments - This was an apartment, not a hotel. If you are looking for a long term family sized place, this is it. It is definitely more like an air BNB than a hotel. If I had wanted an air BNB I would have rented one. I was unpleasantly surprised.

• Simon (8/5): Basic appartment, but good value - These are clean basic appartments that work well as a base in the city. They are not fancy in anyway but good value and functional if you are looking for somewhere to sleep and pregame before time in the city.

The apartment was well furnished, comfortable, and modern a few floors up. Temple Bar area stays rather noisy during the evenings. Office is staffed throughout the day and night for assistance.

It took the cleaning service too many calls and too long to clean up blood all over the front door, the entrance way, the stairs etc. Their was no a/c, so the windows needed to be open, but it was a loud area, with bugs coming in the window.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Handel’s Apartments of Temple Bar - Once you check in at a separate location, there is a little walk to the apartment. It would be helpful if guests could actually meet at the apartment to check-in. After a long day of traveling, it was a burden for the 5 of us to walk through the streets of Temple Bar with our luggage. Also, one morning we woke to a lobby and staircase full of blood from an injury that another guest received. I realize that accidents happen but I was not happy that it took so long to clean the blood up and it was not done thoroughly. There was still blood splatter in some of the entrance windows, doors and floor that afternoon. The residual smell was nasuating and upsetting. Instead of cleaning supplies, the lobby smelled like dirty wet mop. The staff at reception didn’t seem to think this was an urgent situation. This lobby is supposed to be monitored 24/7. On a better note, my husband left his key in his backpack at a local restaurant. We had an early flight so we could not get it in time for check-out. The reception staff went to collect it for him. That was very nice of them to take the time to help us.
• Diana (8/5): Nice 2 bedroom apartment. - The lovely 2 bedroom apartment is right in the heart of Dublin. Now not having much graffiti around us and seeing it all over by the doorway made us think what is at the end of this. After going up 5 flights we were pleasantly surprised. Michael from the front desk carried some of our bags up to our room. He also gave us some nice pointers. He was great with us during our stay and can say you have a very valuable employee. Our stay was awesome and would recommend it.
• Susan (8/5): - Easy, in the heart of Temple Bar, fun people watching. Not quiet in evening but fun. Would be nice to have ventilation in bedroom without wide open window.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Pros;wonderful location on a non traffic lane. Spacious & bright. Easy access to Temple Bar Area. Beds were comfortable. A restaurant The Queen of Tarts was directly across the way and was yummy. Cons: we travelled with a sick child hoping for an early check iwhich we explained to the desk but understood that we were quite early and the room wasn’t ready. As it turned the room was 20 minutes late when finally available. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful, the delay apparently due to housekeeping. We are here when the weather is pleasant and mild yet the heat was constantly on. The front desk sent someone over to turn it off but it continued to function. We compensated by opening the door and windows. Conclusion: the Pros out weighed the Cons

Also helpful with tour bookings. Walked us to the property and gave a run through on how to operate electronics. Would stay here again!!

Two story with Ikea styled appointments that are exceptionally tired. This might have been a cool pad at one time, but it has seen better days. Little attention paid to details like battery dead in the wall clock, bulbs missing from lamps, paint trim on the windows, etc. Looks like someone has swept the place out and things looked fairly clean, but we saw silverfish in the bathroom. Convenient location and might have been a cool place a few years ago, but this place is overpriced. My opinion is this apartment is not in the same class as an average hotel

• Verified traveler (8/5): Great value and excellent location - Get what you pay for here. The location is perfect and you are right in temple bar. The property itself could do with some modernisation however, I do appreciate this would reflect a higher nightly cost. With that being said, I would absolutely use the apartments again if visiting Dublin.
• raphael (6/5): Disinterested Staff that pretends to help... - The service from the Hotel Staff is non existent. They are very good at pretending to care. I don't recommend if you are arriving in the AM after a long flight from a different time zone. You will not get your room until 4:30 to 5 PM. Be prepared for a long walk to your apartment from the central key pick up office. There is no shuttle. If it rains and it always does...welcome to Ireland.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Location was very central but very, very noisy. Asked for some plumbing and table repairs when first arrived, the response was immediate. Ccntinued to experience hat water adjustment issues.
• Courtney (6/5): Not great, but not terrible - Keep in mind that even if you book what they advertise as "above temple bar" that is not where your apartment will most likely be located. We were greeted with positive customer service when we arrived and they told us they were "upgrading" us. I am not really sure what that meant, because we ended up with the same number of bedrooms and bathroom that we booked. We had booked an apartment that was advertised to be above temple bar, but that was not the case. Our apartment was actually down the road. It wasn't too far of a walk, but I didn't feel it was an upgrade at all. It was further away from the apartment we were supposed to be in, but the apartment did have an elevator and a small patio. The bed inside the bedroom was not comfortable. The shower in the bathroom was kind of gross and needs a good deep clean. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again, but it was still close to the temple bar area. If you are looking for a cheaper place and quality is not a huge priority, this would be a fine choice.
• Mary (6/5): nice apartment - The apartment was well sized and in a good location, although not really Temple Bar once you actually walk to the unit. The shower worked great and had plenty of hot water. The place was neat. The biggest issue was the location from where you check in to where the apartment was. It was a very long walk especially with our bags. They need to come up with a better system to alleviate the long walk. And then you have to walk the keys all the way back, it really is too much. Also, the employees were nice and helped store our bags however there was one rude lady who went out of her way to be extra rude to me. It overall was not bad but the distance we had to walk to the unit and the rude woman made it to where I would not personally use it again.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Lovely staff badly advertised - We were waiting 20mins just but be brought to the far side of temple bar ( cant consider it temple bar apt) went up 4 flights of stairs to find the apt had no electricity. Walked back to the reception just wait another 10 minutes for another room key .the girl that was dealing with it was lovely and she got us a new room but it was the other side of Temple bar further away. this area I know to be a very bad area even as we were going up the stairs I notice a junkie at the other end of the alleyway the apartment itself is of the was lovely but I wouldn't recommend staying here. if you're going to be put in areas so far away especially considering it was advertised as being Temple Bar not near Christchurch.

• Pete (4/5): Weekend in Dublin - young family - 69 euros is cheap for a 2 bedroom apartment in Temple bar. Location was great. Oscar from their team was fantastic. Improvements * check in process is very difficult if you have a car. * apartment was not as clean as I'd expect. Sheets had stains. * door chocks didn't work and doors slammed shut. Difficult with toddlers. * plugs didn't fit the sinks so washing baby bottles was harder. Good value but some tables takes missing which could easily be fixed if the company wanted.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Heart of temple bar - We stayed here near Christmas and had a great stay. 2 bedroom apartment in the heart of temple bar, super clean, well equipped with all mod cons and water and milk and tea coffee in the kitchen. A lovely touch. Staff in reception were friendly and professional. Would stay here again!
• stef (2/5): Not recommened - I chose this apartments because it says they are located in the temple bar area. Well they can give you an apartment anywhere in the temple bar area in my case they put me at the very end separate part of temple bar. the building looked sketchy and the hallways looked like you were in a jail. I was closer to the Dublin castle more than temple bar. its deceiving that they tell you its in temple bar and yet the apartment building is at the very end closer to another main point. I didn't enjoy my stay at this place i felt very far away from where i wanted to be. Also our lock was broken they had to change us rooms because the lock was damaged. overall not a good experience

• JAMIE (8/5): Comfortable for family of 4 - We are a family of 4, 2 adults absolutely 2 young kids. While the apartment was smaller than we initially thought, we made it work. It had its quirks which we were able to work around comfortably, but overall the safety and proximity to everything we wanted to see in Dublin was perfect! We didn’t spend much time in the apartments anyways. The managing staff was super helpful to boot!

• Tiffany (8/5): Good location but eh. - Great location but very inconvenient when checking in and out. The office where you "check in/out" is a couple blocks away from the apartment itself. Also, the parking garage is a couple of blocks away in the opposite direction and is $16.50/night.
• Maureen (6/5): Location the best feature, unit itself so-so - The glass wall in shower was not attached to the tub and could easily be pushed to swing towards the toilet, and the shower itself was just a hand-held thing that flopped loosely from a bracket. Plus the tub was really tall and slippery, which made it hard for my parents to safely use. I liked the proximity to Temple Bar area, but the street noise was horrible. And also there didn't appear to be any way to regulate the heat besides opening windows (making it even louder). No thermostat to be seen. The little kitchen and the cookies, tea and coffee they left for our use was nice. As was the 4 bottles of water. TV and couch area were adequate and worked as expected.
• Verified traveler (8/5): All in all nice experience. - We were in the Music building, second floor. Room was recently remodeled and everything was very clean, new and up to date. We even had an elevator. Well stocked, with coffee, teas, biscuits, sugar, soaps, shampoos etc. wonder, convenient location to Temple Bar area and all attractions. The one shower only had hot water working so unusable. We reported it when leaving. Everything else good. The heat is always on and it gets hot, what a waste of fuel as we had to open windows all night. With it being 49 degrees out and windows wide open, it was comfortable. The church bells ring every hour all night long. Can't control that but will wake you up if you are a light sleeper. Especially with the windows open. Quiet side street no no noise from crowds or the like. I knew what to expect, no room ready till 4pm, check out by noon, and having to drop luggage to office to hand in keys. They do hold your luggage for you until you get to the room. We are laid back, easy to get along with types, so knowing what to expect, going with the flow, and being lucky to get a great, newly remodeled room made it a nice stay. If it wasn't for the heat in room and the broken shower would rate this higher. Everyone is very nice and the apartment nice, and great location. It was expensive , especially the Saturday night. All in all nice experience.

• Anne (10/5): Handel Apartment - We renteda two bedroom apartment. Great location, comfortable size, big deck and a clothes washing machine (bonus!). The staff was so helpful. (I'm sorry I didn't write down names). He led us to the apartment and carried my heavy bag up 3 flights of stairs :). Do let them know if you have physical limitations so they do floir level or unit with a lift.
• Kathy (10/5): Great place to stay in the centre of Dublin - We were in Dublin for 10 days taking a couple of day tours to see the rest of Ireland. This was a great place to stay, central to everything. We did not have to take one cab anywhere (except the airport) and there was plenty to do and see nearby. The apartment was very comfortable and well furnished. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Dublin
