- Stefanie (9/5): Hübsches Häuschen - Nettes kleines Häuschen etwa 1 km vom Zentrum von Santana. Schöne Terrasse mit ein bisschen Blick. Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort, aber es könnte dort auch für ein paar Tage schön sein. Bei schlechtem Wetter (was wir hatten) war es innen recht dunkel und ungemütlich. Kann aber bei gutem Wetter ganz anders wirken.

Sisäänkirjautuminen sujui hyvin, ja autolle oli tilaa tien laidalla. Meille sattui kylmät ja sateiset päivät, niin kylpyhuone oli kylmä. Mutta ilmoille ei voi mitään. Huoneessa oli kyllä lämmitin.

- Scarlett (4/5): Séjour décevant avec du moisi sur les murs, pas confortable. De plus la chambre était très sombre.. - Les gens qui travaillaient là était gentils La chambre était très humide avec des traces d’humidité partout (murs, sèche cheveux) nos affaires ont pris l’humidité alors qu on est début mai et qu’il n’a pas plu! Les lits étaient vraiment pas confortables (matelas à ressorts). Il n’y a pas de sommier mais une planche qui sert de sommier. Des chiens ont aboyés deux nuits entre 22h et 02h du matin et des coqs à 5h. L’emplacement n’est pas charmant et n’est pas non plus en centre ville. Nous avons été très déçues et nous avons mal au dos suite à ce séjour.. si la chambre avait été annulable je serai partie dès la première nuit passée. Le placard ne se fermait pas bref rien n’allait à part les gens gentils au petit déjeuner…

Le petit déjeuner est un vrai plus, partagé avec l’hôte dans une ambiance conviviale, et l’arrivée est simple et bien indiquée. La cuisine est très mal équipée et peu pratique : aucun minimum (sel, poivre, etc.), très peu d’ustensiles, et un micro-ondes à brancher au-dessus des plaques, ce qui rend l’utilisation compliquée. Dommage pour un court séjour où l’on ne veut pas tout racheter.

Communication about the hot water was communicated well - important to know that it is limited and takes time to heat back up. We are sensitive to mold. The bathroom had the most mold as well as some other places. We understand mold grows easily in this climate. Would have rates this place very highly otherwise.

Es gab ein leckeres Frühstück. Restaurants sind fussläufig erreichbar. Es roch leicht in dem Bungalow und es hatte sich ein bisschen Schimmel gebildet aufgrund der Feuchtigkeit.

- Janet (3/5): Did not live up to the pictures shown on Booking.com - I feel that the pictures were deceptive... the outside grounds were beautiful but needed tending (i.e., a thatched roof that was shown in the pics on Booking.com was in serious need of repair. It was quiet and we had our own separate villa. The pictures were the reason that I chose this B&B. The villa did not meet expectations. The bed linens were clean. The inside of the villa/room was not up to par. After we arrived, we were told that you could only take a 15 minute shower before the hot water ran out (it was actually less than 10 minutes) -- and then wait 1/2 hr. before another person could take their shower. The room had some sort of smell/deodorizer and there was mold/mildew in the bathroom (around the base of the shower). There was a leak near the shower that was puddling outside of the shower and near the corner of the room. When I mentioned this to Claudia, she had someone bring a towel to place on the floor near the area in question. Breakfast was somewhat lacking/limited. Also, I like to sleep with fresh air coming in... however, this was not possible as there were no windows. The only possibility would be to open the door to the patio -- however, there was no screen. So, we were stuck with the nasty "deodorizer" smell...

Check-in je bio jednostavan, kao i komunikacija s domaćinima. Pogled fantastičan. Doručak. Siromašan i osnovan. Nećete ostati gladni, ali nas nije oduševio u usporedbi s ostalim smještajima u kojima smo bili.

The apartment itself was nicely equipped and had all appliances necessary for a short stay. The breakfast was really decent as well.

- Hanna (8/5): Gemütliches Haus im Grünen - Rustikal-gemütliches Häusschen, inmitten von Natur, bezauberndes und sehr sehr freundliches Team. In unserem Haus (Villa H) befand sich der Serverschrank für die komplette Anlage, der leider einen ruhigen Start in den Tag durch ein hohes, nicht endendes Summen verhindert hat.

Positiv att kunna laga mat själv. Trevlig frukost och personal. Att det var väl kyligt i badrummet och fläkten var ur funktion. Mörk och väldigt fuktig miljö samt inga miljöer att vistas i förutom sitt boende.

Comme mentionné plusieurs fois, l'humidité est très présente. L'absence de parking et le fait de devoir stationner dans la rue peut surprendre.

- Bianca (5/5): - Toen we aankwamen wat het koud en regenachtig, de airco stond aan en op verwarmen, wat aangenaam was. Het matras lag prima. Er is een grote kledingkast en nog een ladekast om je spullen in op te bergen. Toen ik het personeel vroeg om kledinghangers, werd hier de volgende dag meteen gehoor aangeven. Het ontbijt was een prima basis om de dag mee te beginnen. De locatie is een prima uitvalsbasis om in de buurt te kunen hiken en of het eiland te verkennen. Het was tijdens ons verblijf koud en nat, wat de confort aan ons verblijf heeft beïnvloed. Het appartementje was niet warm te krijgen. In de badkamer is geen verwarming. Men geeft aan dat je 15 min warm kunt douchen, bij ons was het warm water na 6 minuten al op. Daarnaast was de douch niet confortabel, dit had te maken met de straal van de douchkop en de mengkraan die naar voren stak. Om over de douchstraal te staan moet je dicht tegen de muur aan staan, waardoor je met je rug tegen het handvat van de kraan komt en deze vervolgens weer van temperatuur veranderd. Al met al was de accomendatie verouderd en was er achterstallig onderhoud.

Heater in every room ( we visited in march and it was wet and chilly outside). Comfortable beds. Kitchen had everything we needed. The breakfast didn’t have a big choice but anyone could find what they wanted. Parking was on the street by the entrance but we never struggled to find a spot and it was free. A washing machine would be amazing. Staff offered to do the laundry for 15€ but that seemed kinda steep.

- Pascal (9/5): - The location was perfect for hiking as you are close to many Levadas and the picos. The area is very quiet, and we had a lot of space, I did not expect it that big ! Breakfasts are great, with homemade pies. Peacful. The area is very humid, and since there is no heating in the house, we felt it much inside as well. We can turn on the airco to solve it, no issue. So, I recommend it, and would return there next time.

Le logement est spacieux, un peu rustique mais l’environnement luxuriant était très agréable. Petit déjeuner copieux . Nous avons adoré notre séjour et la ville de Santana regorge de bons restaurants. Petite cuisine sans fond de cuisine ´, pas vraiment exploitable.

- Jiří (10/5): Doporučuji - Perfektní ubytování v soukromí vlastní vily v krásném komplexu. Překrásný domek s okenicemi a nádhernými detaily, houpací síť, rurální prostředí, ticho, klid, pohoda. 5 minut autem supermarket a centrum Santany. Check-in/out proběhl hladce, stačilo správně vyplnit formulář a klíč vás čekal ve dveřích přiděleného domu. Snídaně byly moc dobré. Parkovat lze vedle u silnice. Dovedl bych si představit tu strávit i delší dobu.

- Petronella (9/5): - De locatie is geweldig, mega vriendelijke personeel en je kunt vanuit hier makkelijk te voet naar het stadje waar je lekker iets kunt eten en drinken. Niks!
- sylvia (10/5): - Die Lage war fantastisch.Früh hörte man den Hahn aus der Nachbarschaft. Wanderwege gleich vor Ort. Es war ein Traum hier zu entspannen. Frühstück war gut. Nichts.
- Melissa (8/5): Good for a basic stay, very good breakfast, pretty gardens - Breakfast was very good. Staff was friendly. The patio with garden view was very nice. Beds were comfortable. Be prepared to climb lots of stairs. Parking is on the street. You can't really walk to other places.

- Katarzyna (8/5): Wszystko było ok. Klima ratowała nas grzaniem w nocy ponieważ było zimno. Bardzo dobrze, że było śniadanie proste ale ok - Klimatyzacja, którą można grzać. Było bardzo zimno bez niej sobie nie wyobrażam pobytu. Grzyb w łazience

- Justyna (6/5): Dobre miejsce ale zdecydowanie nie w styczniu - Smaczne śniadania i przemiły personel. Bardzo dobre położenie. W apartamencie było zimno i czuć było wilgoć. Nie sposób było dogrzać pomieszczeń klimatyzacja (byliśmy tam w Styczniu). Wyposażenie raczej starsze.
