Guest Reviews
- Gedney (8/5): - clean, comfortable and good breakfast variety Could hear all noise above our room....sound insulation needed.
- Amy (10/5): - Ready to find very clean comfortable room
- Loop (3/5): We were treated with extreme prejudice and malice. - There was one desk clerk named Adam, good man. The female front desk staff were awful that evening of 13May26. They were exceptionally vile and nasty.
- Anthony (10/5): - Staff was nice.Property in rooms were very clean.
- Travis (7/5): - The hot tub was good and so was the breakfast The bed was hard and the room smelled like cat litter
- Esmeralda (6/5): - They couldn’t find my original booking that I did on Booking.com and then I had to end up paying again. and getting reimbursed
- Pokorny (4/5): Disappointed for a Best Western. - Room was a good size Found dirty diaper under the bed!
Hot tub was broken but there was strong Oder of chlorine. Yogurt machine was broke with no other option. Special was French toast yet per staff there was none to make
- Daniell (10/5): -
- Clintsman (1/5): -
- Crouse (7/5): Clean, good service, breakfast could be better - Good experience Clean
- Maria (10/5): -
- David (7/5): Average - The breakfast was good. Plus next to a few fast food locations. I am king David and just waiting for Whitehouse. Toilets are short and I don't like microwave. Feel most would do better with air fryer or toaster oven over microwave
- Paul (9/5): nice stay - very nice staff, clean, quite.
did have to move rooms due to problem but handled very well.
- David (7/5): -
- Nola (10/5): -
- Janice (9/5): very comfortable - Breakfast was quite good, the eggs weren't overcooked! Not much.
- Lori (10/5): Good staff - Location
- Cody (4/5): WILL NOT BE STAYING AT A BEST WESTERN AGAIN! - I liked that they put me in a room near to the exit. That's about the only thing that was positive about my stay. More than likely won't be staying at a Best Western again. The room was clean and that's great. But everything was really low quality from the towels to the comforter on the bed to how tough the bed was. The TV even kept on turning on and off on its own. Again probably wont be staying at a Best Western again.
- Suzanne (7/5): Travel - The front staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel interior was a little dated.
- priscilla (10/5): Very good and quiet - Location is good especially the easy access to food
Place is quiet which is good for rest
Non smoking is the best way to go At least a bottle of water in the room
- Chris (5/5): -
- Charlee (8/5): -
- Andreas (6/5): - Die Lage und das Frühstück waren in Ordnung. Das Mobiliar und die Austattung sind in die Jahre gekommen.
- Keri (7/5): -
- Lisa (4/5): Probably better than the Motel 6, but maybe not entirely worth the additional cost - The breakfast was ok, but why add bell peppers to hash browns? It can only keep some people from eating it at all, and I don't think it makes anyone eat it who otherwise wouldn't have. The nice cook did make me some corned beef hash (which was the actual thing on the menu that day, but was not offered), and that was good. In our first room, we had to turn the refrigerator off because it was so noisy. In the middle of the night, the ceiling of the bathroom started dripping on the toilet (a lot). The next morning we were given a different room, so had to move our things. In that room, the toilet ran every 4 or 5 minutes, so we had to shut off the water feed overnight. The staff was very nice, however.
- Megan (6/5): - A good stopover that’s convenient to I5. The area is a bit run down, but there’s a great pizza place right across the parking lot.
- Jack (6/5): - The restroom near the breakfast room was locked, after a long while I tried it again, after the third attempt I asked the desk clerk if there was another restroom. She indicated that they locked it to dissuade vagrants from coming in. There was NO SIGN to indicate such information and to get the staff to open the restroom.
Additionally, the breakfast was left to run out while the staff chatted with friends...
The noise level of the guests above us was incredibly loud.
Not a place I would recommend!!
- Bill (10/5): - Breakfast had a god assortment of choices including a decent steam table line. On my Monday morning, it was scrambled eggs or biscuits and gravy and sausages. Their menu board indicated a variety of other choices on other mornings.
- Georgeta (9/5): -
- Lynn (6/5): -
- Jacob Hanjoo (7/5): -
- Reem (7/5): -
- Medina rico (1/5): - Front desk was friendly at check in What was suppose to be a restful night turned out to be a sleepless night because a dog was barking and howling through out the whole night.
- Kathleen (4/5): Yuck! - This hotel was in terrible shape. The shower curtains were barely hanging from the bar, the tile was stained and the overall cleanliness was lacking. I was traveling with a little dog and he was going crazy for something under the bed. I pulled out the mattress and found a tennis ball, soiled handtowel and a bag of water (probably an ice pack) along with a fair amount of dust and grime. It was really pretty awful
- christel (10/5): - The front desk staff is so amazing! Kyle was so helpful in sorting out a problem that Expedia was responsible for but offered himself freely and made our weekend so special!! Thank you Kyle!
- jianjun (8/5): - Clean and good breakfast. The only thing is to give 4 star instead of 5 there are no elevator.
- Kelly (8/5): - Clean and comfortable room. Bed was very comfortable!
- Jennifer (10/5): - My favorite place to stay in Olympia!! Will return many more times.
- Myra (9/5): -
- Laurel (8/5): - Overall everything was good.
There was a fire alarm incident that resulted in having to evacuate the building during the night while fire officials checked the building. No fire but it would have been helpful if a staff member informed guests about the event to reassure everyone. Thankfully the incident was a false alarm and fire alarms did work appropriately.
- Jerod (10/5): - The service was great. The room was great. I'll definitely return there again
- Ahmed (8/5): -
- Shortie7 (9/5): - Because it was sunday and breakfast finishes at 9.30, I thought it was really Kind of the employee to make extra french toast at 9.25, because sb was really late. Very Kind!
- miguel (8/5): Almost great, but nice - Front desk lady professional even under pressure from a wave of check ins late at night The breakfast attendant ran out of some hot food by 9:10 am, and was moving on to wrapping up the hot bar. Many people waited on eggs that didn't come and made due with some french toast that was made reluctantly.
- Gretchen (8/5): - The staff was fantastic. Excellent customer service. Breakfast was nice and plenty. The area isn’t the nicest but it’s not a dangerous area.
- Andrea (6/5): Just okay - It’s okay, clean enough. I was expecting more for the price, but guess I was off. Hallways and room had an older yucky smell, particularly in the hot weather. But room and bed was comfy enough, bed on squishy side.
- Julia (10/5): Very nice stay at a budget price - Friendly check in. There are fresh cookies every evening at 6PM. The room was clean and comfortable, and the included breakfast exceeded expectations. There were hot options of scrambled eggs, bacon, tater tots, cereals, yogurt, breads, pastries, waffles, and coffee. We would definitely stay here next time. No complaints.
- Raymond (6/5): - Compare to what I paid per night the quality of things in the bathroom was very cheap. From toilet paper to soap
- Donald (10/5): - Quiet and clean hotel.
- Heidi (6/5): - During check in our card was charged for the entire 3 night stay instead of just for incidental even though we pre-paid through Expedia prior. That put us in the negative, was chaged an overdraft fee and took days for them to put the money back, super frustrating.
There is no bathroom on the 1st floor for guest to use. Whe asked of there was a restroom durwhile eating breakfast the front desk later was rude and stated "its for employees only" she allowed my elderly mother to use it and snapped at her saying "make sure you lock it when you're done".
There is no elevator in this hotel, only stairs.
The hot tub area is enclosed, no ventilation and the chlorine was really strong. It was rough to breath in, eyes burning and the window would not even crack, appeared to be rusted shut. We opended the door to that area and the main door to the the gym just to get a little air floor. Couldnt stay long our eyes couldnt take the chemicals.
- Jan (9/5): -
- kim (10/5): - all
- John (10/5): - Great place!
- LoriS500 (8/5): Close to amenities - Motel was ok.
Pros:
Front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast workers were all friendly and efficient.
Easy access from I-5, and many retailers are close by.
Nice size fridge.
Bathroom was very clean.
Cons:
The neighborhood is so-so.
The bed wasn’t very comfortable
Furnishings ( chairs) looked tired.
- Cassandra (10/5): - Nice and clean, very comfortable
- Tobias (5/5): Won't stay there again. I love my dog - The breakfast was good different menu every day. The extra cost for the dog was ridiculous. Should have been up front price, per stay. Not per day. I figure the milk bone cost 100 dollars. I could have fed her cheaper and better myself.
- Thomas (10/5): Super à tous points de vue - Très bon accueil et petit déjeuner vraiment sympa, qui change un peu tous les jours et très qualitatif par rapport à d’autres hôtels de même catégorie.
- Jean (7/5): Ok place for a short stay - Good breakfast Bed was not comfortable and my husband got hives, maybe from the soap used to wash the sheets?
- Laurel (6/5): - Morning staff person was unbelievably rude and dismissive. Not the type of person who should be working in a hospitality position. Her snotty attitude and demeanor really negated all the positives we experienced at this property. This was in dramatic contrast to the warm welcome we received the night before at our very late check-in.
- James (8/5): - Found this lodging as described on website. Staff was professional and prompt. Convenient location.
- Chun (8/5): Very good -
- Shelly (7/5): Good -
- Nancy (8/5): - The staff was great. We had flight delays and did not get there until 2am. They were courteous and quick with the check in.
- Erfan (6/5): Not that quiet, a little expensive - The breakfast was good, the room and the space was clean ,No street noise it wasn't quiet, air conditioner in the room was noisy, the fridge out in the hallway was too noisy at the midnight.it was a little expensive based on the overall quality
- Alyss (8/5): Very good -
- Betty (10/5): Nice stay - It was clean, and had a nice breakfast. N/A
- Carolyn (6/5): Pleasant -
- Willis (10/5): Nice place - There were some really loud door slamming at 5:30 AM, which was kind o inconvenient
- david (8/5): - Nice place
- Dawn (4/5): I’d expect better after charging 250 a night - It had availability The phone in the room wasn’t charged., the apps on the tv never connected so stuck with terrible channels and a million commercials. The blankets were thin and i froze, the shower floor was rusty no bath. The staff was very odd and the parking was iffy. I had to park in front of a sex shop and came out in the morning to someone selling their puppies out of their truck right next to my car
- Michael (6/5): - TV did not work, cable connection problem apparently. Light next to the bed did not work.
- Phelan (10/5): Breakfast, Beds, and Friendly staff! - Came in with my fiancée and young daughter to get married the next day. The frint desk staff was so nice and lovely, just wish i remembered her name. The room did have a slight scent of wet dog? But overall the room was very clean and lovely to stay the night in. My brand new wife and I stayed one night more than our daughter and had abquiet night just the two of us with no disturbances from staff or stay. Complimentary breakfast was also very nice and coffee in the morning was wonderful!
- Ryan (10/5): - Good location, breakfast and close journey to the Olympic forest. Friendly staff and easy to find from I-5. Recommended especially if you are looking at hopping the boat to Victoria or over to Widbey island .
- Nils (10/5): - Friendly and helpful staff.
- Judith (10/5): - Very nice. Hotel and staff
- Cynthis (4/5): - Noisy outside my room. A smoking/get drunk/talk on the phone loudly place with a picnic table under a tree. Half the town has been at that table this afternoon/evening. Can’t air out my room by opening the window due to noise & smoke.
- Brianna (4/5): - Slider door was broken, pool area was dirty
- Ramon (9/5): Superb - Nice and clean and quiet
- Verified traveler (2/5): Poor - I think this by far was the worst hotel that I've ever stayed in. There were bugs in the bathroom, no house keeping on a 2 night stay and above the staff at the reception and breakfast hall were not friendly at all. Very dissapointed overall!
- Mathew (8/5): - Decent for a quick overnight. Needs updated. Floors creaked badly and I felt bad for whoever was on the 1st floor below me.
- Elma (6/5): - We were there for volleyball tournament. Stayed 1 night. Comfortable bed. Lightbulbs were loose. Shower curtain does not fit the rod. Kept sliding. Shower was half shower and half faucet. I told staff when we checked out
- Janice (8/5): - Room was satisfactory. Breakfast was a little better than normal hotel breakfasts. Staff was friendly.
- Kim (8/5): - Loved that they had pet friendly rooms.
- Joseph (4/5): - It was old and gross.
- Cynthia (3/5): A lot of false advertising. - Hotel and rooms were clean. Booking.com advertises this hotel as having an elevator. There is no elevator. We were traveling with two people that a second floor room was an issue, but did not require a handicapped room. The staff at check-in told us all rooms on the first floor were taken or reserved, and that it was our fault for reserving the hotel through Booking.com. Otherwise we could have requested a first floor. We had reserved 3 rooms, and the hotel website and Booking.com advertise the beds as pillow tops. One room had a pillow top but the other 2 were nothing more than plywood with springs popping through. The showers were less than acceptable. Hardly a drizzle coming from shower heads.
- Cynthia (2/5): Very poor -
- Carolyn (8/5): Good hotel - Our stay was very pleasant. Good accommodations. Breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
- Patricia (8/5): Very clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly - The breakfast was fine, and had lots of options.
(I would have preferred more no sugar options such as bran cereal, but the oatmeal was good.
Would have preferred plain yogurt, rather than flavored.)
- Amanda (6/5): Could have been better. - The pros: good location. Decent selection of food close by, right off the highway. Great staff and friendly. Good breakfast
The cons: sold us a queen sized bed, but they provided a broken lumpy full size bed. The shower head needs a good deep cleaning and sprayed water everywhere. There was dirt in every corner.
- Brian (8/5): - It was fine for a quick overnight stay in a room with a bed. Staff was great though
- Lawrence (8/5): - Nice stay
- Peter (10/5): - Great, safe & clean hotel to stay at, with a delicious Brewery Pizza step away…
- jeremy (10/5): - It was very nice
- Daniel (10/5): - Thank you for being there for us while power was out
- Shannon (8/5): - Friendly staff. Easy checkin. Clean comfortable room. Area felt safe. Overall very pleasant! Breakfast was very good!👍
- Elizabeth (10/5): - This hotel was perfect for our short stay. It was clean and comfortable and convenient. The staff were friendly and efficient. We would stay again
- Duane (10/5): - Well maintained, clean. Friendly staff. Room good size, comfortable bed. Good breakfast with multiple warm options, with something different each of my 2 mornings there.
- Raymond (8/5): Very good -
- DONOVAN (10/5): - Want to thank the gentleman at the front desk for making check-in a breeze
- Russell (8/5): - Nice for the money
