• Martin (8/5): - I have stayed 6 lovely days in silver oak. This is well maintained traditional hotel, close to busy Riverside road but yet quiet and calm. Run by lovely and super helpful staff and guarded by even more lovely golden retriever Coco, who loves scratches under her chin and left paw. I have receives all the help I needed with preparing my trek, laundry, getting scooter, storing language during my trek and more. Thank you so much. I will recommend you to my friends

• Cristina (10/5): Peaceful Ambiance and Beautiful Garden - I loved the ambiance at Silver Oaks Inn, especially their outdoor seating area. The hotel is located in a quieter part of town, yet it’s still close to all the main attractions, which made exploring easy and convenient. The staff and hotel manager were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. I especially appreciated the travel support desk, which made organizing trips simple and stress-free. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and my room was very clean. I was also lucky enough to join the Holi celebrations, which was a fun experience. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Visit the lake easily to do by walking. De Silver Oaks Inn is een erg fijn hotel. We verbleven er voor de derde keer. Vriendelijk personeel en een zeer goede service met deskundig advies voor onze uitstapjes. Het ontbijt was prima. Het meer is gemakkelijk te voet te bereiken.

Very good breakfast, as much as you want to eat. Two beautiful gentle dogs wandering, lying around. An older building, the rooms showing their age, a bit shabby, and the mattress a bit worn. Needs a facelift to return to its former glory. But the price is right for what it is.

A mix up in communication meant that when we returned to stay another night after being away trekking there wasn't room for us. This was however, remedied very promptly and the staff helped us find alternative accomodation locally.

Beautiful garden where you can seat with nature sounds of bird. The breakfast was buffet and so good. Manager helped us arrange tours. Beautiful friendly dog. Recommended.

Free water refill machine Breakfast was just ok, not a quality and varied breakfast no fruits, no fruit juices,... The hotel looks much better on the booking website pictures. It is so old and gloomy, the soundproofing is so bad, you can hear noises from outside (music) and from the hallway. The reception and breakfast room are not heated, so it is very cold. If you don't ask they don't clean your room. My room didn't get cleaned during 3days. Hotel, the room and small bathroom are gloomy (the lighting is very poor) and don't look so clean, dust almost everywhere. You don't really feel good and comfortable in your room and furthermore you don't enjoy taking a shower. (No water pressure) The AC is right up above your head so you can hear noises and the air comes directly on you. This is not even a normal door, only a wood plank with padlock and bolts. The curtains don't even fit to the window size so don't expect to sleep in a dark room. At the checkout the boos, wanted to charge me 4% fees on my credit card or I wanted to pay the hotel in advance but I couldn't because they don't even let me the choice but they want to charge you when you pay with credit card at the end of your stay, not really fair! Finally, after a long discussion he didn't but anyway is a bad experience.
• Pavel (9/5): - The location is great, it is located on a quiet street, but in 5 minutes by foot you can reach the main street. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast was decent. In the hotel lives a beautiful golden retriever :) In the winter time it was a bit cooler then I’d prefer it to be. There is an air conditioner, that warms the room, but the door and window gaps so big that it doesn’t keep warmth for long after you turn it off. The blankets were warm, so it wasn’t too bad.

If you’re not sure what to do in Pokhara, they’ll guide you and help you find really affordable packages so you can enjoy your stay. Breakfast is buffet-style, so you can eat as much as you want. I went with a group of friends and we had a great time. They have a really nice terrace where you can enjoy a good coffee and read a book. 100% recommended!

Sehr nettes Personal, das bei allen Fragen zur Verfügung steht. Auch ein Permit für die Annapurna Region konnte kurzfristig gegen eine sehr geringe Gebühr erstellt werden. Besonders am Wochenende nachts sehr laut von draußen, da quasi keine Schalldämmung. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist ein wenig eingeschränkt, aber vollkommen ok.

The location is handy too, it is located in a quieter street but still in the main area which is nice if you don't want to be in a bustling street. I'd be very happy to stay here again in the future!

The staff were very nice and accommodating, even helping us to book an excursion at their travel desk. We were also able to leave our bags behind while we went away trekking and had peace of mind knowing they were safe. The hotel feels very ‘boutique’ and is decorated with lots of beautiful plants and flowers. Also, it was fun to see the cute hotel dog whenever we came down to reception. There could have been better options for breakfast.
