Kein Verbesserungsvorschlag.

- Caroline (8/5): Great - The hotel is in a superb location overlooking the harbour.
The bed was huge and very comfortable.
- 187ciaranw (10/5): Hidden Gem! - I never leave reviews for any hotel but I have been thinking about this place ever since I left!
Quickly booked this hotel for work and was pleasantly shocked upon arrival.
The hotel is extremely modern and clean. Little features like touch screen door bells and LED lit wardrobes (which most wouldn't care for) really impressed me! I stayed on the top floor and the sound of the rain hitting the skylight at night made it even cosier.
Everytning about the hotel is modern and sleek, including a large smart TV and modern bathroom. It's also a proper shower, not one built into the bath which I liked. This hotel is far ahead of many 4 and 5 star hotels I've stayed in for work over the years.
The food in the really photogenic bar is also amazing! Never had a fish pie before and it was really good, overlooking the Killybegs port. And to top it all off the staff are extremely lovely!
Would definitely come back here on my own terms, not just for work!!!
- 987ruthc (10/5): Exceptional in every way - Exceprional
If i could give more than 5 stars I would. I booked last minute for a business trip and was lucky to get a last minute cancellation the day before .
Upon reaching the hotel I realised I had forgotten my case and at 7pm no where open and a 2.5 hr round trip to nearest tesco for emergency over night supplies.Well I needed not to worry the amazing Martina and Christine where beyond helpful completely sorting me out for the night and in a day and age where great service is not a given anymore these went above and beyond even offering to contact some local shops after hours to get me sorted . I am beyond grateful especially after driving since 9 am the last thing I wanted was to drive to letterkenny and back .
As I sit and have a relaxed dinner in the beautiful bar , the food is amazing, the view is amazing , the hotel has been recently revamped and changed ownership which turns out to be from a business man from close to me in meath the decor is high end and cosy. All in all what could have been a disasterous stay has been one of the best hotel experiences Ive had and im staying in hotels with work nearly 20 years.

- Patricia (10/5): -
- Bill (10/5): Overall very good - Reception staff
Food in restaurant was amazing. Restaurant staff a little slow to serve drinks and take order.
- mags (10/5): - Friendly staff, central location, great rooms. Food is just ok...
Maybe a choice of pillows

- kylecS5856TD (10/5): 10/10 - 10/10 visit, not only is the location one of the best we’ve been to in Ireland but also the people and staff we interacted with made the experience even better. We could not fault the food and would come back every weekend if we could. The staff and head chef Paul were a delight to deal with.
- Matt (9/5): A great stay , with an excellent welcome - The Tara hotel was excellent .
Reception was so welcoming and friendly and this set the tone for the stay
The rooms were spacious and comfortable and we had a good rest and sleep.
The evening meal was excellent and I had the fish of the day . The waiting staff were always attentive.
The Breakfast the next morning was filling and nothing was too much trouble for the staff .
Finally check out was relaxed and once again the reception staff were so friendly providing us with guides and arrangements if needed .
#A great stay Nothing it was all good
- 404theresem (10/5): Amazing second stay at the Tara hotel killybegs - Second amazing stay at the Tara zheotel. Hotel is even better newly refurb and same amazing staff and service. Would highly recommend.
- Thomas (10/5): I will return -
- AnnK941 (10/5): An exceptional relaxing Experience - Absolutely exceptional experience from start to finish. I could not recommend the Tara Hotel highly enough. The staff were absolutely brilliant from the minute we checked it Friday until check out today. Martina duty manager spoke to all the guests on first name terms. She couldn’t have been more helpful and obliging. Martina is an outstanding ambassador for the Tara. Likewise the lovely receptionist her name escapes me possibly Christine with the lovely hint of purple in her hair again an exceptional employee and such a pleasant meet and greet person and exceptionally helpful and then there was Chloe our Waitress what a fabulous pleasant young woman- nothing was too much for her and particularly on a very busy Saturday night she was amazing. The Food was fabulous and the accommodation and overall atmosphere so brilliantly relaxing. I will definitely be back hopefully sooner rather then later
- Ackroyd (10/5): Worth a stay. - Food fantastic, beautiful and clean hotel and bedroom. Small niggles really. Bathroom towels too small, could probably be bathsheets.
Chairs in bedroom could be more comfortable.
As said really small niggles, everything else beautiful.

- adrianhS92EW (10/5): Exceptional - To all the staff in the Tara Hotel, especially John, Chloe and Alannah, the young man who served us and the lady on the breakfast on Sunday 23rd!!
We had our document signing in the hotel on Saturday 22nd November. The whole experience in the hotel was second to none. The staff was incredible, so kind, no question was too much for them. The hotel looks absolutely incredible since it was renovated. It is always our regular haunt several times a year for the last 6 years. We love visiting the restaurant with ours boys. The food on the day was incredible! But it always is everytime we visit.
Chloe stepped in as our witness and she was so lovely to us and our boys. John (manager) was great craic and sat down with us for a chat. The hotel spoiled us rotten!! It is a gem in the heart of Killybegs!! Until next year!!

- Foncy (10/5): -
- Charles (8/5): - WiFi intermittent
- Kathleen (9/5): - The waterfront location provided stunning views and the central location made it easy to walk anywhere in Killybegs. Also I enjoyed getting refreshments at the connecting bar/restaurant. No free breakfast. Also only one bed in our room. The new carpet made me sneeze and also in the little tea breakfast area there was no plug for the electric tea kettle.
- Sally (9/5): - Gym would be great!
- Adrian (10/5): -
- simpson (10/5): Definitely be returning again soon - Staff are extremely helpful and friendly . Steak on stone was unreal That i was only there for 1 night !
- Mark (10/5): - Very well located and central to attractions. Hotel was fantastic with lower bar and great atmosphete and live music. Food was lovely
- Mary (10/5): -
- WARREN (10/5): -
- Irvine (10/5): - Everything was fantastic. Food and staff
- Cormac McArdle (10/5): Great stay. - Food was great, staff were great, room was great. Really pleasant stay. Nothing.
- Soichi (9/5): - The heating in the room was weak and it was cold at night, but the auxiliary heater was a great help.
- Far2G0 (10/5): Confortable hotel - The hotel is situated overlooking the harbour. There is limited parking available in the hotel's car park but other parking nearby. The rooms are very cosy and comfortable. The bathroom is bright and warm with modern fittings and fixtures. Bed was very comfortable.
The food is excellent. The fish pie in the restaurant was exceptional and came with very tasty soda bread which I did not expect. Breakfast was quick and tasty with more in the full Irish than was shown on the menu. Really enjoyed the food.
- 65gordons (10/5): Great hotel - Home from home - Wow, this hotel is outstanding. I have stayed here several times for business reasons and have always found the service and staff extremely helpful. I had actually booked my last visit and then had to cancel at the last minute due to a family emergency and I can not thank Erin on the reception desk enough for being so helpful and understanding. I will definitely stay here again and could not recommend this hotel enough. The food is also outstanding. I look forward to my next visit and thanks again Tara team !!
- Patrick (6/5): - Recently renovated and the rooms were very nice . Unfortunately the water was cold in the morning so I had to have a cold shower :-(
- Sean (10/5): - Food excellent Large pillows on bed

- yvette (10/5): Tara hotel is a gem! - Location was wonderful, we had a beautiful room with a seaview. Staff were so friendly & helpful. Food was very good & service excellent. 1 nights stay wasn’t enough!
- Kathleen (10/5): Very good - Greatl Everything was okay
- Denis (10/5): -
- PattiM911 (6/5): Just ok - Can only speak to the restaurant. Service was very slow, and a little abrupt and almost rude. Didn't seem to understand why we would want water and table settings....just kept pushing us to order. Manger wasn't much better, although he did seem to warm up at the end. Food was just ok. Maybe we just hit it on an off night?
- Paul (8/5): -
- Mauro (10/5): - Everything!

- 129edi (10/5): Special afternoon - Called in late Sunday afternoon with our dog. Immediately made to feel welcome. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Food served promptly - even the free dinner for our dog ( a lovely, unexpected touch).

- James (10/5): I'll be back. - The hotel seems to have been nicely refurbished since my last visit 3 years ago.The reception staff were most welcoming and helpful. My room was nicely fitted out with all the essentials and I had a great view directly over the harbour and the fishing fleet. The ensuite was spic and span with a good powerful shower. The bed was comfortable, but see below. The pillows were a bit too thick for me so that I found it difficult to get my head and neck into a comfortable position.
- Mary (10/5): Luxury rooms in newly renovated hotel with great views - The Tara is a newly renovated hotel in a wonderful location with free parking available adjacent to the hotel. Very well appointed large room with a lovely view of the water. Helpful staff, great restaurant for all meals, separate bar, spotlessly clean- it was excellent at every level. Nothing. It waa perfect
- Byrne (9/5): -
- andy (10/5): - Free parking on roadside, food was excellent with large portions. Staff very friendly and helpful. Well worth staying here.
- Colm (6/5): Convenient location, adequate accommodation, expensive overall, not great value. - Convenient location for visiting F&F. nice and bright due to Harbourside location. atmospheric public bar. Lacked mini bar fridge in room, bed firm & not very comfortable, Polycotton bed linens, poorly designed room lighting, breakfast buffet could be a lot better.
- shane (10/5): Comfortable stay - Comfortable with good facilities Parking can be a bit of a challenge
- marc frans (10/5): - perfect stay, great food, just the downloadspeed of the wifi was very low...between 30/35 is nothing when you like to play Poker when misses is sleeping....a few or 5G cable broadbank is the solution...for the rest no complains at all...we are back end of April/May for a week....
- Robert (9/5): Great hotel in centre of Killybegs - Great location in centre of town overlooking harbour.
Really nice room, recently refurbished.
Good quality and value food in the evening.
Breakfast menu - great choice Nothing to dislike
- Markus (9/5): -
- Bernadette (10/5): -
- Kathleen (10/5): - The pub was closed for renovation but the restaurant had excellent food and served drinks if you wanted.
- Craig Somerville (9/5): - Great location and great venue.
- Beth (10/5): This was a great hotel with wonderful staff and great food and a fun bar too. - The room was fresh and large. There was a good place to use the hairdryer with a mirror and we had a nice corner room. Breakfast was also great and we also ate dinner in the hotel one of our nights...It too was also excellent. The front desk and restaurant staff were also really helpful. It would be awesome if there was a top sheet in addition to the duvet as the duvet gets quite warm. However, I know that is common and everything was great and I would stay here again.
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional stay. - Told the just had a major renovation which is just beautiful. Rooms exceptional! Nice restaurant bar & breakfast room
