- Clifton (7/5): Simple, good value and really good location. - The number one best thing about the hotel is the location. It is also a pretty good value. You are three blocks from the Palmas de Cortez pickleball resort and two blocks from the beach. The room was very basic, but sufficient. Bed was the same, basic, but sufficient. My room was pretty quiet. There is a nice pool.
- Robert J (7/5): -
- Teresa (8/5): - Quiet and so clean, beautiful pool but not heated so very cold, rooms are spacious and had a refrigerator. Bed was hard but still slept well. Staff are very helpful. Close walk to beach, restaurants and stores. Stayed 2 weeks, wish prices were discounted for a long stay but well worth it. Cold pool, no hot tub, hard beds, no food at hotel but free coffee and purified water.
- karen (8/5): Comfortable, clean and quiet. I really enjoyed my stay here. - Great staff, quiet setting and right in downtown. Nothing
- Martin (8/5): Relaxing - Location
- Johanne (8/5): - Trop cher

- Claire (8/5): Great location, quiet and a good price - Great location, quiet The beds were firm which i like but I think could benefit from a padded mattress topper to make them more comfortable. I wish there was a bathtub or that the hot tup portion of the pool was heated
- Manuela (8/5): - Rustikal eingerichtet, bequeme Betten, alles sauber und ordentlich Leider waren dort viele Mücken ( scheinbar am Pool), waren ziemlich zerstochen.

- Valerie (5/5): Hotel has potential… needs tlc and updates. Coffee should be available before 7am. - Location was great! Pool was not clean, lounge chairs were very dirty, room was clean but old, bed was hard and bed spread was old!
- Barbara (8/5): - Very convenient location for pickleball and grocery stores. Not far from bus stop for bus from La Paz.
- Jensen (8/5): - It was lovely Nothing
- Vivian (10/5): -
- Marcela (9/5): - El personal!

- Mark (10/5): Quant clean Mexico motel.close to beach - Clean, quant, well maintained landscaping and pool
Friendly staff. Hard to find. Could use better signage.
Mini fridge would be nice
- Terra (8/5): Great Location, great price. - Location was great, on the main drag, but unfortunately, the ATV traffic is very loud at all times of the day and night. The bed/mattress was incredibly hard - I should have asked for a change. I stayed here 2 years ago and I do not remember this being an issue. Maybe they got new mattresses ... ?
There was a pool and hot tub- I would have hoped at least the hot tub would have been warm. It wasn't.
- Steve (8/5): Very good - Unheated pool
- Lorraine (7/5): Good -
- Jeanne (9/5): Superb -
- Wayne (6/5): Basic room with a decent pool - This is a basic hotel room with no amenities at all. The bed was okay, the shower was decent, the room was dated and worn but fairly clean. The pool is okay and there is lots of shade and sun areas around the pool. It is slightly noisy but it is on the main road of town so that is to be expected. The cost of a room is too high for the services and amenities. There was no breakfast, only coffee. The price……it was way too high for just a basic room.
- Robin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Randi (9/5): Superb -
- Otterson (4/5): Cute little place, with a great location, but the overall cleanliness was not acceptable. - Location was great, it is quaint, has a traditional Mexican feel. Beds were not comfortable, and the overall cleanliness of the room was very disappointing.
- Sandra (10/5): Lovely hotel grounds and spacious rooms, everything needed is close by. - Big room , lovely property, close to restaurants and the beach. Pool was pretty cold!
- Alison (8/5): Overall very clean, and friendly accommodating. - The beds were hard and not comfortable. Only complaint!
- Mary (8/5): I would definitely stay here again. Price very reasonable. - This is an older hotel with beautiful hand-painted designs in the rooms, interesting wall art, and a very comfortable and lovely pool area. There was coffee every morning (no breakfast), which we appreciated. The staff were lovely, especially our chambermaid, who gave me a sweet hug when we left. She and her colleague who worked primarily outside kept the whole place very clean. At least three great breakfast options nearby. Our bed was hard for our tastes, but the pillows suited us just fine.
- Rod (8/5): Would recommend the hotel , enjoyed our stay . - Great spot ,close to everything ,pool .Short walk to the beach .The rooms were clean and comfortable
- Raul (8/5): overall, would stay there again - location, man at reception very helpful, and willing to seek and provide answers hard mattress, no heater in room
- Robert (9/5): Superb - Older traditional Mexican hotel but clean and well maintained. Large comfortable room, helpful staff. On main street in town but set back so it was quiet.
- William (6/5): Pleasant -
- Walter (9/5): Superb - Great location and comfortable. Got out of Cabo for a few days and enjoyed this hotel, simple and cozy and helpful staff!
- Reid (4/5): A decent motel, but trying to make your guests stay a little nicer should be something that they can work on - It is a nice motel, reasonably clean and well situated I had asked for a ground floor room if possible before we got there and they confirmed that they could give me a ground floor room as it’s easier than packing bags up and downstairs. I asked for the ground floor room when we checked in and the clerk young man told me that no they didn’t have any ground floor rooms available now which I found surprising because there was only two cars in the parking lot. For the two days that we stayed there there was never more than two cars in the parking lot and there was no people on the ground floor, but he had refused a simple request that would’ve been easy to fulfil and would’ve cost them nothing so therefore, I’m not giving them a very good review And the next time I go to Las Barillies‘s I might not stay at that hotel again .
- Cindy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marie (8/5): Very good - The place was clean. The room was good size and had a table and refrigerator. The pool was pretty. Weather was cool for swimming. Bedspreads were basic and one was faded. They were clean.
- Shelly (8/5): Enjoyed the town and the location of the hotel. - The location of the hotel was excellent. Short walk to everything. Hotel was older but very nice. Pool area was great and they had coffee made every morning.
- Rangnow (9/5): Superb -
- Juliet (6/5): Friendly staff, Adequate facilities - Central location, outdoor pool area was nice, lots of parking, super friendly staff Room was dated, bed and pillows were very firm. No TV or in room coffee.
- Linda (10/5): Fantastic week - Hotel was right in town, so easy walking around and the beach was close. Proximity was perfect
- Angela (9/5): Superb -
- Patricia (8/5): A quick trip to Los Barilles, the hotel is an excellent option! - This hotel is walkable to shops, restaurant and the beach. Nice pool ambience. The bed is a ltlke hard and a bit of fridge noise, but the room stayed nice and cool.
- Linda (9/5): Superb -

- Christine (8/5): Safe Single Experience - Staff were great. Thanks to Carlos and Esmeralda for going out of your way.
Coffee in the morning was good too.
Clean surroundings. Dinner right across the street was great and close to grocery store. Location is great for walking but adjacent to the main road. So can be noisy.
Pool was way too cold for me.
- Bradp (8/5): Clean and Comfortable. - cleanliness and comfort of rooms and pool We thought it was on the beach. The location ended up to be OK but not what we expected.
- Frank (7/5): Good -
- Andrea (6/5): Good value for a great location. - Clean and close to town. Rooms could have been a little more quiet.
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Nice facility for its age. Nice town very friendly and well kept Beautiful beach
- Harry (7/5): Good -
- Gill (8/5): Very good - Loved it as usual. Fourth time there! Only thing wrong, the price quoted by booking.com was not what we paid! Paid about 100$ Canadian more than quoted. Can't figure that one out!
- Trace (6/5): Beautiful property but bug bites left a sting to my visit. - Great location, beautiful pool. Many bug bites in my room while trying to sleep. Maybe mosquitoes, not sure.
- Earll (8/5): Very good - The hotel is comfortable and centrally located. Staff were very helpful. It is on a busy road.

- Joan (10/5): Los Barriles Hotel was perfect for us and we appreciated how hard the staff worked. - We enjoyed relaxing around the pool and reading. We found it was just what we needed. Every morning Coffee was made and so we ate breakfast outside on the deck (granola, yogurt, fruit and coffee). We had a fridge in our room. That was really handy. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had our room cleaned every 2nd day and it was perfect. They provided bottled water, which was nice. Staff were always working hard to keep the place spotless. The owner drove us to the bus station on the last day at 7 am in the morning. They went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. It was close to all the local restaurants and gift shops and the beach. We explored every day, but it was nice to come back to our hotel. The room was spacious and beds large, lots of pillows and hot water.... The beach was beautiful and we often ate at restaurants on the beach, but the restaurants in the town were great too. We loved it and would recommend it our family and friends. There are a lot of x-pats in Los Barriles and they drive these ATVs everywhere. Sometimes it was noisy from them driving back and forth. Traffic died down evenings so that was wonderful. Everything is walkable and that is what we did.
- Marjorie (7/5): It was pleasant but a little spendy for an old place and no eating facility of any kind offered. Didn’t even see a vend - Good location and old beautiful Mexican style architecture. Old dated bed spreads, no food or facilities on site and lack of seating area for sun except a brief time in afternoon. And a broken security latch on door.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- John (9/5): Happy to have a place to land in Barriles where we felt welcomed during a very busy holiday period. - Perfect location, suuuuper friendly and helpful staff! Rooms are basic, but clean and comfy!
- A (10/5): Exceptional - The Location was walking distance to most areas of interest.
- Lauren (9/5): Superb -
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Great downtown location- walk everywhere. Great value. Friendly staff !
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Elaine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (8/5): Good value- close to everything - Location and staff were great
- Joan (9/5): We had a great overnight visit in Los Barilles. - Coffee and water are provided by the pool in the morning. Nice pool and beautiful property.
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely boutique hotel. Mexican style, great location, helpful staff, great patio and pool area.
- Lesley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Awesome - Everything including proximity to everything including the beach and Pickleball
- Karen (8/5): Very good - Great location, great staff, comfortable, clean, quiet
- James (9/5): America on the Baja! - Cute, clean, comfy Little bit pricey.
- Sonda (8/5): This hotel had a great location and was a good value. - Nice,
Comfortable room. Easy walk to restaurants and the beach. Styrofoam cups for coffee! Those days are over.
- Diane (10/5): excellent value, i highly reccomend this. the arranged ride is worth the money. - there was no breakfast, and most restaurants close by do not open until 8. we did find one on the beach (caters to fishermen) open earlier, but a short walk from hotel. pool was fabulous, place was quiet and perfect i woud have liked coffee available earlier, possibly the bar open in the evening, in general, i had no complaints. the staff were very accomodating and willing. no beach view, but better away from the general roudyness of other spots.
