- Gabriela (4/5): - The pod was clean and the food in the pub (especially the Fajitas, were really good). The waiters also polite and welcoming. The toilet/shower shared facility was reaaaly bad! It was all outside, the toilet like a toi toi with barely place to move. No soap. The shower also like a box outside with not even a place to hang your towels. The water didn't drain quickly so you stayed with your feet in your own mess....

- Christine (4/5): Never again! - I stayed in one of their Pods which was £54 Here’s the good stuff… The pub itself is ok and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was good and very reasonable. The Pod is tiny. I felt claustrophobic and there was only me. The lighting is dim. There is a heater in the pod but I couldn’t adjust the temperature. If you have it on it’s too hot, and freezing if you don’t. The toilets and showers are Porto cabins, smell horrible and are very cold. I stayed in May and can’t imagine what it would be like in the winter. There was water everywhere and my slippers were soaking. I tried to have a shower as I was going to a family event, but the water was freezing cold in both of them so I couldn’t. I checked out at 6.45am as enough was enough, and ended up having to find a leisure centre so I could actually have a shower.

- Finlay (7/5): Great location for me but two niggles - no breakfast and no table in the room- took the shine off. - It was cheap at £54 a night. Nice staff. Lady upgraded me into a bigger room which was kind and not something she needed to do. The room didn't have a table or a flat surface to put things on. Doesn't do breakfast, either, which is rather annoying but they probably don't have enough guests to take on that extra cost.

Le parking est grand, gratuit et en face de l'établissement. Il y a également plusieurs choses sympas pour les enfants (je ne voyageais pas avec des enfants, mais je l'ai remarqué). La situation était idéale car à 10 minutes de Stonehenge. Lors de l'accueil, des informations ne m'ont pas été données, et un membre du personnel n'était pas des plus agréables, mais bon... Le deuxième a compensé. Pour ce qui est de la chambre, il manquait une petite table pour aller avec la chaise mise à disposition.

- MacDonald (2/5): I booked it for the price and based on reviews but will not recommend or return. - Location Couldn’t get in! No proper reception. Felt old, dingy and in need of redecoration. The bin in the room was not empty, there was mould on the wall and ceiling in the ensuite, towel rail hanging off the wall and covered in rust! Bathroom light above basin didn’t work. The bed was clean but the pillow … I have never seen a pillow with so many lumps! Not useable!! No breakfast available either.

Bathroom shower cube and toilet too far from pod. Not really privately placed in area. Nowhere to hang clothes or towels in the shower cubicle. No ventilation unless you open the door.

It says online they do breakfast but apparently not anymore as we found out when we went down for breakfast in the morning! I stayed here 2 years ago and loved it but it seems to have really gone down hill since, unfortunately.

- Brooks (1/5): Disgusting and disappointing - They had beer to numb the pain and a roof over my head - pretty much the best thing I can say about it. Everything except the beer and roof. Room was grubby, sad, run down. Heating was off, room was freezing. Bed was extra thin mattress on a rock solid base, accompanied by lumpy flat pillows. Lighting was lifeless and depressing. The finishing touch was the dirty stained cushion - possibly blood?

- Peter (7/5): - The staff are very polite and welcoming, the bar is very pleasant and the meals look great with a good range, Also if you drink soft drinks because you are driving you only pay one price and then you can you can refill as many times you like. Also the price of the room was the cheapest I could find so good value. Some of the repairs in the room but it didn’t bother to much as I was only in for one day.

But thanks for - The shepherds hut was beautifully decorated the hand painted cows and sheep on the ceiling were beautiful!!! The location was good, the road around us did go very quiet during the night, as we were wondering if it would keep us up all night, we didn’t have enough loo roll, sugar, no pouches of milk for our cup of tea in the morning and no tea bags my husband had to go back and forth as we noticed during our stay. We gave up with the shower as the heat wouldn’t stay at a safe temperature! And we had no cold running water at the main sink. Needed hangers in the cubby opposite the main sink, also maybe some small shelves to put towels that we weren’t using at the time.

Bed was comfy and quick hot water for shower Extremely dated decor, dated bedroom furniture and very basic shower. Couldn’t get the TV working, couldn’t find the remote. No electric socket to plug the bed side light into. Cleanliness was ok but moved the bed and needed a very good hoover and many items were left under the bed. The building is on a busy road, and if you chose the glamping option, it’s right next to the busy road with HGVs passing regularly through the night.

All the facilities that we needed, we had. The art work in the huts were memorable! It was cute and again very quirky! It became hot at night and needed windows open and the noise affected us a bit.

Hacia un frío horrible, el baño no tenía agua calienta y hacía unos ruidos horribles. Contraté un servicio de taxi a través del hotel pero el taxista no vino a por mi. Tuve que andar hora y media con la maleta, de noche y sola para llegar a mi visita en Stonehenge. Un horror.

- Emily (4/5): Place to drink then sleep, not for families. - Could have been cleaner. Stains on the beds, pillows were very uncomfortable and odd shapes. Bright green light in the room meant you couldn't sleep, very overpriced. Sink and shower didn't drain away.

They were fully aware that they were fully booked for the winter Solstice for Stonehenge and they have guests with children and who are all getting up extremely early for the sunrise. So they decided to blast karaoke in to the night that prevent guests from sleeping, ignore complaints and ask you to just deal with it. Would never book there again. Literally book anywhere else.

The bathroom i didn't touch the shower and the toilet made noise all night. The window depite being shut kept rattling. No coffee on tea cart except decafe. The pub below which is not stated in the adds has a play bus outside that is not in use so all i heard from my toddler was she wanted to play on it she was distraught. The menus in pub for children had colouring but they stated they no longer provide crayons so yet more crying. My one vodka orange came as vodka water and when replaced was vodka j20 as they don't do orange juice which should of been said when purchasing. Very loud downstairs door all night, woke up every time it opened and to top all the noise the place is not fit to be an inn.

I arrived at lunch time and it is a sightseeing bus stop for tourists so it was REALLY busy. But they all finished and left and it got quieter. Parking right across the street. Nothing
