• 130yuenf (4/5): Great location, but significant hygiene concerns regarding allergens - I recently stayed at TUVE and had mixed feelings about the experience. On the positive side, the location is excellent and the staff were incredibly helpful and professional throughout our stay. However, we encountered a significant issue with the room's hygiene. There was a persistent moldy smell emanating from the sink and shower head. While it seemed to be a plumbing/piping issue, it was a major concern for us as my partner has a severe allergy to mold and dust. We specifically choose accommodations based on allergen-free standards, so this was quite disappointing. TUVE has a stunning aesthetic, but the sensory experience was unfortunately overshadowed by these maintenance issues. I hope the operations team can look into the drainage systems to ensure the air quality matches the high design standards.
• 663azhara (10/5): Loved my time at TUVE - Staff were cool. Not fake nice. Actually nice. Location is perfect. You're in the middle of Hong Kong but somehow it feels quiet. Most "design hotels" are just regular hotels with the lights turned down. This place has soul. Five stars because I cannot find anything to complain about. And I usually can.
• went2026 (10/5): Wonderful stay - Great stay with amazing staff. They helped us to find many good gems in Hong Kong. The room is very simple and comfortable and we had great amenities and design.
• Five-star-critiques (4/5): Big mistake - Great example of form over function. The pics look great, but the reality is that this is not a hotel, it is a tower block squeezed in between other tower blocks, one of which is having major building works, drilling and all! The room was small, but the space was reduced by the shower, bathroom and wardrobe being enclosed in enormous iron cages and a large opening wooden cabinet housing a spacious mini bar that had just one tiny bottle of gin. Two coffee bags and two creamers were provided which were not replaced the following day, so we bought our own coffee and milk. The reception is on the first floor and is dark, with a desk so big that you cannot reach over it and have to stand at the side. The towels were coming apart, (photo) and there was mould on the bottom of the shower frame, (photo). Power points were insufficient and the bed head actually covered four of them and made them inaccessible, (photo). The air-con only cools and the floor is exposed concrete, so the plug-in electric heater came in useful. The bed was really comfy and the staff very helpful. The shower is the largest area in the room, and the toiletries are exactly the same as the ones in a top-end 5 star hotel that I had just stayed in Abu Dhabi. The nearest MTR is a ten minute walk away and the journey to the north island is quick.

The design is modern and calming, a refreshing escape from the city’s bustle. The location is spot on—well connected by trams and buses to all the major attractions, yet quiet enough for a restful night. Our room was compact but smartly designed, with a generous bed (especially by Hong Kong standards!) and all the essentials we needed for a short stay. Couples will find it ideal, though families with kids might feel a bit squeezed. The real highlight was the staff—friendly, attentive, and always eager to help with tips and directions. TUVE isn’t about flashy luxury, but it delivers style, comfort, and convenience in just the right measure. Perfect for a short city break if you love modern, minimalist spaces.

Guest servicing was excellent, they were helpful and friendly. Got a great special deal, value for money, with complimentary minibar and gifts.. which I found on their website. Will come back for future business trips.

We are not looking for something fancy or expensive but the design of the hotel really attracted us. We love the scent, music and lighting of the public areas, and the rooms are very spacious in my opinion. it's a place for you to have a good night sleep.

The modern design is exactly what we like, sober and very classy, with all the comfort you need without the superfluous. The area is also very nice with lots of nice restaurants and bars. It is well-connected to transport facilities that allow you to explore Hong Kong.
• epysartan (10/5): Truly recommend (and I’m a very picky traveler) - The staff was incredibly helpful with everything—from making restaurant reservations to checking us in several hours early. The location is fantastic: a charming, local-feeling neighborhood that’s not touristy at all, yet super close to everything, including the subway. There are also plenty of great restaurants right on the same block. The room is small but stylish and spotless. And most importantly, I’m a very sensitive sleeper—and it was wonderfully quiet (except for the thunder 😊). Would definitely come back and truly recommend this place to anyone visiting!
• vivp273 (10/5): Bold and beautiful - Lived this hotel. It’s a hidden gem in a really cool area. Easy for HK waterfront walks and the park. It’s hard to spot though, nothing tells you are there. So I loved the secretness of it. And the rooms aren’t numbered so I had to guess which one was mine. Room was big and bold and beautiful. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Had a fabulous time.

The room itself is comfortable. The shower has a transparent glass wall which is weird if privacy is an issue. I loved the authentic non touristy neighborhood. Not super central but if you mind taking Mtr a few stops it’s ok.

Everything worked exactly as it should: strong water pressure, comfortable bed, fast Wi-Fi, and a calm, distraction-free vibe. Hotel staff were polite but never overbearing. Location was convenient — close enough to the MTR and Causeway Bay, but tucked away from the chaos. This place isn’t flashy, and that’s what makes it great. Well-built, well-run, and thoughtfully maintained. I’d stay again without hesitation.

• annalJ2599TT (10/5): I actually slept like I do at home! - After two weeks of traveling, this was the first night I actually slept like I do at home.
The bed was not only super comfortable but also so stylish — finally a mattress that felt just right. I also loved the thoughtful touches: a water filter, universal adapters, a powerful hairdryer, and even a set of cosmetics — with a scent that perfectly matched the hotel’s calm and moody atmosphere 🖤 The area was another pleasant surprise — quiet and peaceful, yet within walking distance of the bustling Causeway Bay. Victoria Park is just around the corner, and the waterfront isn’t far either.
There are plenty of great coffee shops and cafes nearby, and the hotel’s own restaurant “101 binary” is just as chic — perfect for breakfast or a relaxed dinner
• maccha_sg (8/5): Boutique hotel near Causeway Bay - Tried this boutique hotel. The location is not a very easily recognizable and look very carefully to find. The cafe next door serves nice coffee. The room we stayed was standard room, contemporary stylish room. Bathroom was rather small (for this kind of price range hotel). Basin was a little not so nicely designed and installed, experienced some difficulties. Room amenities includes bathrobe, room slippers, coffee and tea making facility, shampoo and shower gel. There was a room heater in the wardrobe, it was not easy to take that out... Hotel staffs some service was OK. Can walk to nearest MTR, walking distance but some may feel a little bit far.
• Verified traveler (10/5): The best boutique hotel in Hong Kong - The staffs are super friendly, beautiful facilities with Le Labo toiletries, the hotel is well-designed and with great location, it’s truly a hidden gem in the urban area, only 8 minutes walk from MTR, definitely the best boutique hotel in Hong Kong.

Cool design but somewhat impractical e.g. bedside reading light is only on one side and too high and not adjustable, business card is unreadable to taxi drivers, Good breakfast if included but must go outside hotel to adjacent restaurant. Better for the the younger crowd and for short stays. Convenient to subway and buses. Note that water and soap and other disposable amenities are no longer provided by this and other HK hotels since April2024.

• rolandtP1380SR (10/5): Tuve hotel - Hong Kong hotel rooms are small, so it met my expectations in that regard but a double is plenty for a solo traveler. Room is very clean and the pillows are very comfortable. I am very happy here and I enjoy it. The location is accessible by public transport.

• soniac514 (10/5): Simple Elegance and Caring Hospitality - It is a simple and well designed hotel. I came back here also because of the their amazing service. The front desk staff were very caring and helped us look for great restaurants in Hong Kong. The breakfast downstairs was just okay and there better options out around the area. The neighborhood was quite safe and I liked walking to causeway bay through the big green park. And we looked forward to coming back again!

Room is clean and comfy, bed is a bit soft for me. Complimentary coffee drip bag is a plus. Only have a problem with the air condition, could not re-set the temp but there's a portable heater so it warmed well at last.

The hotel design is very minimal and even the rooms too. lol we loved the hot shower and water pressure! It’s just very important when you are in a foreign country. Anyways, very good stay!
• varunnaidu (10/5): Interesting hotel in the heart of Tin Hau! - My friend and I saw this hotel as we were reviewing hotels at Causeway Bay. This hotel had a very interesting look through the photos of travellers and the hotel that we decided to book this hotel. I was impressed with the timely responses of the hotel staff to our enquiries. From check-in to check-out, the hotel experience was great. The lifts and lobby had very calming symphony music playing. The room was very bright, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom also was very sleek with its rain shower and use of Le Labo products. I also appreciated the concierge assisting me with some of my needs such as additional hangers or getting a staff to see what was the issue with my kettle. The housekeeping kept our room clean every day and I felt very thankful and appreciative of their efforts. In terms of transport, the direct connectivity to the airport through the airport bus A11/NA11 is really convenient, even if the journey takes over an hour. Additionally, Tin Hau MTR station is only a 2 minutes walk, and there are numerous buses outside the hotel along the main road. And of course, the trams that only cost HKD 3.00 (HKD 2.00 if using VISA)! There are lots of food places nearby, and two 7-Elevens within 3 minutes walking distance which was really useful for late-night shopping. Additionally, Tin Hau is surrounded by lots of cafes, restaurants, cha chaan tengs, hobby shops, and more so am glad to have stayed in the heart of it all. While I gave a 5-star rating to the hotel, there were a few things I do want to highlight to TUVE hotel so that the experience can be better for future guests: - Maybe a water dispenser can be placed at the lobby or cardboard/paper-wrapped or canned water can be distributed to guests daily since the single-use plastic ban is in place. The filter bottle in the room is a nice touch but I do not feel comfortable filling water from the bathroom tap to put in the filter bottle to drink. - At the time of booking, or even on the website (unless I missed out), state that toiletries such as toothpaste, combs, shavers are only allowed to be purchased as most hotels still do have sets for guests to use during their stay.

• J-Wei (10/5): - We really loved the decor of this property. It is not for everyone so do check out the photos before booking. They also provide le labo toiletries which is amazing and the highlight of our stay. I believe the room is slightly bigger than your average HK hotel room. The hotel is also conveniently located near the train station and is walking distance to many eateries. Will definitely be back if we visit HK.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Minimalist design bunker - Fantastic minimal design hotel by tin hau MTR. No hotel is perfrct but TUVE comes pretty close. Expanded mini bar offerings (or room service) and more TV channels like F TV, Bloomberg and Animax would seal it as the best hotel in HK in its price range.
• Enoch (8/5): Short trip to Hong Kong - Industrial raw design room but does not meet the need of a traveller. Significant missing of work space and countertop. For example, if you want to use your pc and the plugs, you lose the only counter top you have in the room as you need to open the countertop in order to have the plug for your computer or kettle. Cement floor throughout but furniture and chairs do not have the proper attachment to the legs so when you move a chair, you will make some noise unless you lift the chair while moving. Shower base not graded properly so water collected in one corner. Bathroom have no countertop space for makeup, toothbrush and etc. Overall the hotel is located in a good location with metro station nearby, good selection of restaurants, and a park within walking distance. Room is clean but again due to design problem, there are areas quite dusty and cleaning job needs to attend to the details in order to clean and dust properly.
• Anton (6/5): - Can’t give half ratings but this is a solid 3.5/5. Stayed at Tuve as my wife and I were doing a layover in Hong Kong en route from Bali. While the hotel appears to be chic and artsy, it’s very minimalist and moody by design. The staff was very accommodating with late check out and even bag storage after the fact. The area has a few restaurants and cafes, including a coffee shop and bar underneath, but did not find much in the surrounding area during the day. However, it’s a short taxi/Uber to the Central or Wai Chai area which has a lot more happening from a restaurant, cocktail bar and shopping standpoint. If you’re just looking for a simple place to stay - a comfy clean bed to rest your head and spot to shower, this is a great spot. Rooms are minimalist in nature and are on the smaller side but give you what you need for a short stay. However the hotel does not offer many amenities. Would purely recommend if you’re looking for a place to sleep, it’s by no means a hotel experience of sorts

• MUHAMMAD KHAIRUL NAIM (10/5): - Property is quite nice and service is great. While there are some issues during the stay but the staff did handled the situation well and recovery made was top notch. Special mention to Frank Lung who assisted us from the day we arrive and the agent & team who is working on the midnight shift on 18 Oct to 19 Oct morning for assisting us on the issue of our door lock. Room is clean and maintained. Location is quite safe and near to transportation with various food options located nearby. Definitely will stay again in the future when visiting HK.
• Yi-Lynn Beatrice (8/5): - Room was spacious and liked the clever space optimising things like foldable desks/coffee bar. Bed and pillows comfortable. Good sized shower, strong water pressure and lovely Le Labo shower gel & conditioner, and strong air vent to avoid any damp smell which is good. Great location. Got nice dessert place directly opposite and good beef brisket noodle shop nearby too Water in shower didn’t drain quickly so something to look into. Could do with more hangers. Breakfast starts only at 830am which isn’t great for people there on business who need to make it to 9am meetings elsewhere. Didn’t get to use my breakfast vouchers at all and reception didn’t allow me to change date of breakfast vouchers to other days I’m staying (but with no breakfast included) when I could make the breakfast time.
• Donna (10/5): - The front desk are very friendly and professional! The room are clean and well maintained. Bett is comfortable in the bathroom is very roomy great for sleeping quiet in general. Surrounding restaurant, coffee shop and transportation a very convenient for travelers.
• EUN SIL (8/5): - Nice decoration of reception, Good location, a lot of options for meals but little space of putting something.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable but a bit cramped. - The hotel is fine for a short stay. the room is a little small, but the bed was very comfortable. Good shower.
• Paul (10/5): - Great design at this hotel. Could really see all the fine touches everywhere! Very cohesive stylistic grammar.

• Murat (8/5): - Like: Hotel was clean, nice design. Dislike: There was no name at the entrance, lobby at the 1st floor hard to find, small-medium size rooms, price was high for this kind of Hotel.

• Derek (8/5): Great value great location - Great location for food, transport, sightseeing and chilling. A few short steps to Victoria Park, a few more to the heart of Causeway Bay. Great value for money if a little ‘quirky’. The only thing that could be improved is the intermittent wi-fi.

• Mylinh (10/5): - The property is close to restaurants, close to the tram and train station. Only issue is no storage or shelving in the room. Had to live out of suitcase for 10 days.
• Kathleen (10/5): - Great staff. Great location. Chill vibes. Well designed. Lovely break from the pace of Hong Kong. Would totally stay again.

• Shiho (10/5): - The stay was super nice. The gentleman at the reception was super helpful and friendly. Loved his positive vibe! There are 2 things they can improve tho. 1. Hand soap as there was none. 2. I have Expedia gold membership and this hotel is one of hotels that offers something for this status which is the reason why I decided to stay here. They didn’t tell me what exactly I was getting until I asked. It would have been so shameful to stay without knowing benefits as I genuinely appreciated their offer.

• HUANG HAO (10/5): - 酒店位在天后站步行約5分鐘，位置方便。酒店本身有重新翻修過，設備感覺算是新穎，酒店很乾淨，但浴室淋浴設備僅有花灑是比較可惜。
